    Hi,
I just try to explain. In GL we have various kinds of transactions indicated with different transaction types e.g. AR, SD, ZO CN etc. I want to print the list of all the GL having transactions of a choosen type and not all the transactions.
There is of course some selection criteria which I am not able to find.

  • Query to find the list of users having access to a particular scenario

    Hi,
I am learning Hyperion Planning 9.2 x version. I wanted to know the query to find the list of users having access to Plan Iteration - 1 scenarion.
As I am new to Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Planning, I am assuming these ideas work out to get the desired result.
    1) As Hyperion Planning uses Relational DB to store the User Security information, we can query the list of users who is having access to Plan Iteration - 1 Scenario.
I am not sure if this solution works. Please correct me If I am wrong.
    2) We can also query from the essbase editor to find out who all having access to this scenario.
If the above is correct, can you please provide me the query.
I am really need of this and I will be happy if any one provide the solution.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
If you are looking for some SQL to retrieve the access rights by member then you can use something like (SQL Server code though can easily be modified for Oracle)
SELECT usr.object_name as Username,mem.object_name as Member,
    'Access Rights' = CASE acc.access_mode
    WHEN -1 THEN 'None'
    WHEN 1 THEN 'Read'
    WHEN 2 THEN 'Write'
    WHEN 3 THEN 'Write'
    ELSE 'Unknown' END,
    'Relation' = CASE acc.flags
    WHEN 0 THEN 'Member'
    WHEN 5 THEN 'Children'
    WHEN 6 THEN 'Children (inclusive)'
    WHEN 8 THEN 'Descendants'
    WHEN 9 THEN 'Descendants (inclusive)'
    ELSE 'Unknown' END
    FROM
    hsp_access_control acc, hsp_object mem, hsp_object usr
    WHERE acc.object_id = mem.object_id
    AND acc.user_id = usr.object_id
    AND mem.object_name = 'Plan Iteration - 1'

  • Query to find the list of workbooks and worksheets assiciated to those book

    Hi Gurus,
Could you help me with the tables / Query to fetch the list of workbooks and associated worksheets names as welll.
    Thanks in advance!!
    Rgds,
    Santosh

    Hi Santosh
The whole point of the STATS table is to allow you to query performance, who did what and when. The database itself does not keep such statistics so if you disable Discoverer's method of capturing these you have no way of knowing who did what and when.
Without this it is impossible to say. I would strongly recommend you enable the capturing of statistics.
The reason you cannot directly query a WORKBOOK to determine what WORKSHEETS are associated with it is because that information is stored as binary information and not in SQL format.
Discoverer 10g has the capability of providing detailed information on the EUL. This feature is not offered "out of the box" but can be easily enabled.
The EUL Administrator can enable the feature by completing the following steps (see also MOS Note 556932.1):
    1. Log on to SQL*Plus as the Discoverer Administrator on the machine where Discoverer Administration Edition is installed.
    2. Execute the EUL5.SQL script found in the *$ORACLE_HOME\discoverer\util* directory. (This script will create the necessary database objects.)
NOTE: If you are using an Oracle Applications mode EUL, you must also run the eul5_apps.sql file in the $ORACLE_HOME\discoverer\util directory.   This script must be run as the EUL owner, and not the Oracle Applications SYSADMIN user.
    4. Exit SQL*Plus and log on to the Discoverer Administration Edition product (as the EUL Administrator).
    5. From the menu bar, select File | Import.
    6. Import the EUL5.EEX file from the ORACLE_HOME\discoverer directory. Once the EUL import is complete, a new business area will be created and visible called The Discoverer V5 EUL. This is the business area that provides the details on the EUL.
EUL Management Workbooks for Discoverer Administrators
The EUL5.EEX file also imports four pre-built Discoverer workbooks. These workbooks are automatically saved to the database during the EEX import and can be executed in Discoverer Plus, Viewer or Desktop:
EUL Workbook Management - shows which workbooks are shared with which users. Examine worksheets to find the folders, items, joins and conditions they depend upon.
EUL Access - This Workbook indicates if a current EUL exists in this users schema. It also displays the EUL's in other user schemas that this user can access.
EUL Query Statistics - Find out which workbooks and worksheets are being used by whom. Examine users ad-hoc queries.
Lineage - Hyper Drill from Discoverer to find a folder or Items Lineage in Oracle Warehouse Builder. To enable the Hyper drill, you will first need to run the Lineage.sql script.
The Discoverer Administrator can use the pre-built workbooks or build their own EUL management workbooks by using the Discoverer V5 EUL business area.
    Best wishes
    Michael

  • Execute specific query from Entry List

    Hi everybody,
Is it possible to execute a specific query in a DropDown List ?
    Example:
I have a dropdown list of airport (PARIS, ROME, BARCELONE).
If i select PARIS, i would execute the specific query about PARIS and
    the associated chart
If i select ROME, i would execute the specific query about ROME and
    the associated chart
If i select BARCELONE, i would execute the specific query about BARCELONE and
    the associated chart
    Thanks for your help
    Rodolphe.

    Hi,
    Yes, you can do that.
Add a custom action to the dropdown and name it for example event1.
Connect the dropdown containter (form or table) to the PARIS query.
Set the event name for this line event1 and the guard condition as @dropdown=='PARIS')
connect another line to ROME query with the same event name and a corresponding guard condition.
Do the same for the others.
You can also add visibility conditions to the charts, based on the dropdown value.
    Hope this helps,
    Shay

  • Report program to list out characteristics having dependency type procedure

    Hi folks,
My requirement is to generate a report, in which i have to list out characteristics having dependecy type procedure(7).
The tables are CABN(characteristic),CUOB(Assignment of Object to Dependency),CUKB(Administrative Information for Dependency Maintenance).By linking these tables we can get the result.
Pls provide the code to achieve the above task. It's urgent. We need to write a select query for that.
    Regards,
    Ramesh

You could use the QuickViewer to create your query, no programming involved.  It sounds like you know the tables to use and should be able to join them.
Just a word of caution, Urgent is not a good word to use in a thread.  You may want to refer to the new Strict Guidlines: /people/michael.schwandt/blog/2008/06/23/moving-to-strict-rules-to-improve-quality-and-control

  • Precalculate a workbook containing multiple query varients in broadcasting

    Hello gurus
I'm using BW 3.5 version. I have a Sales MIS workbook. That workbook is having four tab pages for regions north, east, west south. I have one single user entry variable for region characteristics. And while saving the workbook I say "Save & reuse the variables". Now user wants to broadcast the workbook in the same fashion. But Broadcast settings only accommodate for 1 variant for precalculation. He is not interested in having 4 mails for 4 regions. Has anyone figured out a way to precalculate a workbook containing multiple query varients?

I have the same issue as well.  We have upgraded to 7.0, but still running 3.5 queries and 3.5 bex tools except broadcaster.  We are using Broadcaster 7.0 and Analyzer 3.5.  How do you get all the queries to refresh using the variant?
When the query properties are set to just 'Refresh query when opening workbook' it will not execute in the Broadcaster (7.0) - Error: u201CSpecify a value for variable Period/Fiscal Year (Interval Entry, Required)"
When I select the box for 'Save and reuse variable values' and execute through the Broadcaster (with a variant) it run the first, active sheet with the variant but the other sheets reuse the values that were used when saving the favorite.
How can I get the Broadcaster to refresh all queries in the workbook using the variant ??  Again, we are on Broadcaster/Precalc 7.0 and Analyzer/queries are 3.5
    Thanks!

  • CQWP does not return result for a specific query when filtering on a managed metadata field.

    Hi,
We are facing a serious production issue. We've search the web extensively but to no avail.
    Problem:
CQWP does not return result for a specific query when filtering on a managed metadata field.
    ULS log:
The Uls logs provides 3 different messages that I could relate to every time the query is executed. The last item(level Medium) is displayed 14 times. For readability I've moved the ULS logs to the bottom of this question.
    Query:
    The query is as follows:
(I've translated this from dutch so pardon any typo's)
Query: (top selection) Display items from all sites in the site collection
    ListType: Documentlibrary
    Contenttype:
Items from this group:Custom Document Contenttypes
Items from this content type: Verklaring
Filter: Soort is equal to X
extra info: the field soort (Type) is a managed metadata field that was assigned the value X
    Managed Metadata Structure:
    -managed metadata service
      -Contoso
        -Enterprise Taxonomy (term set)
          -Document (term)
            -Verklaring (term)
              -Soort (term)
                -x (term)
    EXTRA INFO:
When I modify the filter to filter on Title the CQWP DOES return the correct document!
When I modify the query settings to search a specific library the CWQP also does return the correct document! (In this case I am filtering on a managed metadata field).
    QUESTION:
Why doesn't the CQWP return the document when filtering on a managed metadata field over the entire site collection.
Why does the CQWP return the document when filtering on a managed metadata field over a single library.
(The type of information the CQWP should return (Soort:x) is stored in a dozen document libraries!)
    Here are the ULS logs.

    Hi,
while digging through the logging (again) I found some extra logging regarding the same correlation id (see details below).
We have a fairly large term store (4000+ lines).

  • Workbook with changed query does not display the changes...

    Hi,
I have a problem with a workbook with one query in - the query has been changed, but the new added keyfigures are not displayed in the existing WB.
I know from Bex 3.5 there is the option on WB settings "return to global definitions" - I miss this functionality in BI 7.0.
My installed sap gui is version 710
Please let me know where I can switch on this feature...
    regards
    chris

If you use "Return to Global Definition on refresh" option, all the users would have to have it turned on in their workbooks. In that case won't they lose any settings/navigation the user did, specific to their need. All the workbooks end up being the same in that case.
We are still running on 30B and starting the upgrade to BI70. We just went through training on the new BEx analyzer, and I have to agree with you that some of the useful features of BEx 3X will be missed. Specially in the area of Workbook support, things like Copy query, insert query etc are missing as well.
    Thanks
    Vineet

  • A better list of workbooks

    Hi folks,
We - and I think many people must be - are a little disappointed by the lack of organisation provided by the list of workbooks in Discoverer Viewer (on the web).
I was wondering, before we go out and write something to wrap around it, whether anyone here had come across a replacement?
    Thanks in advance,
    denty.

There are enhancements planned for improving the browse list of workbooks in Discoverer Viewer. If you have any specific functionality/UI you would like to see please log an enhancement with the Oracle Enhancement Request system at ers.oracle.com or log one via Metalink at metalink.oracle.com

  • Listing Queries/Workbooks in Roles

Hi!  Is there a way to list queries/workbooks by role?
    Thanks in advance!
    Marnie

    Hi,
When you log on to the BEx by workbook or query and when you press the role button, you should be able to see all the workbooks and queries by role.
You can also check the listing in PFCG. Give the role name and all the workbooks and queries attached to that role can be found in the menu area.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

  • SharePoint Designer 2013 (2010 Platform Workflow) - How can I create a new list item with a SPECIFIC content type?

In SharePoint 2010 I created workflows that used the 'Create list Item' Action, which then set the Content Type ID (so I could create documents of various types in a document library).
We just switched to the SharePoint 2013 platform, and now the drop down for Content Type ID is blank in all of the workflows that are still using the SharePoint 2010 platform.  Is there any way to create a list item with specific content
type?  Even if I could just input a string into that field instead of using this blank drop-down.  Please help!

    Hi Sarah,
According to your description, my understanding is that you cannot create a new list item with a specific content type using SharePoint 2010 Platform Workflow.
I tested the same scenario in my environment, and the Create List Item worked fine with the specific content type.
How did you create the content type?
Please check if the content type is added to the list/library the workflow associated with.
    Best regards.
    Thanks
