LISTENER" finished with status TST_ERROR

Hi all,
I'm tryin to do a systemcopy. I get this error by the db upgrade:
"MUT-03010 Execution of the command "/oracle/<SID>/102_64/bin/lsnrctl stop LISTENER" finished with status TST_ERROR
The step StartListener with step key .... was executed with status ERROR"
Anyone know how to solve this?
Thank you all in advance!

Hi ,
We have fixed this issue, pls find the sol below.
This error message usually occurs when the output of the listener
control program cannot be written to the install directory. Since
sapinst cannot determine the result of the command, it throws this
errormessage. Please check if the install directory has write
permissions forthe ora<SID> user. Please check if the file system and
/tmp is not full and accessible.
For Environment settings please refer to Note 602843: Environment
settings for R/3/Oracle on UNIX
In addition you can perform below actions to further check the command
execution.
/oracle/QM7/102_64/bin/lsnrctl stop LISTENER as root and verify
that the listener is being shutdown normally.
Also, Please compare environment settings from ORAqm7 user and root. Add
the missing environment variable if any

  • Discrete job is finishing with status 'Complete-No Charges'

    Hi,
Some of our discrete jobs are getting completed with no charges. I wanted to know the name of API/Package which is changing/updating the status of job as 'Completed-No Charges'.
    Regards,
    Jaspreet Singh

    Hi Jaspreet,
Normally once all the activities on the job were done, then the job status will get changed to complete. As per my knowledge, there is no API for changing the job status to "Complete-No changes". If you want this to be analyzed, please generate the FND logs by setting the following profile options and then try to re-produce the issue . Once the log is generated, then we can analyze the log.
1.Enable the INV and WIP profiles for debugging.
FND: Debug Log Filename = (Make sure this is null)
FND: Debug Log Enabled = Yes
FND: Debug Log Level = Statement
FND: Debug Log Module = WIP%
    2. run the below query and take a note of the output
         select max(log_sequence) from fnd_log_messages;
    3. Finish the job
    4. Once completed run the following sql script:
         select message_text from fnd_log_messages where log_sequence> '&Log_seq received from step 2';
    5. Upload the the SQL output (which you got from setp4) generated from the above sql script

  • Autoinvoice Import Program finished with error

    Hi all,
We are using EBS 12.1.3. The concurrent program "Autoinvoice Import Program" has finished with status "Error". We checked the log file and there is a message :

    Thanks in advance,

it seems that the error may occur even the interfaces tables are empty... i checked the notes : How to Capture a Debug Log or Trace File and Diagnostics for AutoInvoice in 11i and R12 [ID 1079666.1] and

  • DB backup still running, but in DB13 already status "Finished with errors"

    Hi,
firstly, I am not regular DB administrator, so please be patient with me.
On 5.4.2010, 20:00 started on our server regullary planned online complete DB backup. Now (runing for more than 39 hours - DB size is only 300GB and last time, when it successfully finished, it takes less than 12 hours) I see in DB13 this backup with status "Finished with errors", but in SM37 this job is still with status "Active" so it seems to be running. On HDD where backup should be stored is created file with size 0 B. In job protocol and program protocol are only standard messages, nothing indicates that there is any error. OS is Windows Server 2008.
    Program log:
    DBA Action starts:
Timestamp: 20100405200040   Function: sda   Object: DATA
    SAVE/RESTORE request:
SAVE DATA QUICK TO 'D:\DB_BACKUP' FILE BLOCKSIZE 8 NO CHECKPOINT MEDIANAME 'COMPLETE_DB_BACKUP'
    SAVE/RESTORE request accepted:
    OK
    Job log:
    05.04.2010     20:00:38     Job wurde gestartet
    05.04.2010     20:00:38     Step 001 gestartet (Programm RSDBAJOB, Variante &0000000000001, Benutzername *****)
05.04.2010     20:00:38     Execute logical command DBMCLI On host *****
    05.04.2010     20:00:38     Parameters:-d D01 -n ***** -uUTL -tpi D01 -tpp no_longer_used -tpc D01 backup_start COMPLETE_DB_BACKUP REC
    05.04.2010     20:00:38     OVERY DATA AUTOIGNORE
Anybody have idea what is doing there?

    Thanks Adrian,
in DB50, DBAHIST has following record for this backup:
    04-05 20:00:40 20100405200040 sda D01      DATA             9999 20100405200040
so it is still active. But when i launched DB50, there appears popup with question
Do you want to branch to the "Open Alerts" display ?
when i choose Yes, alerts are displayed, and there are some records like this
07.04.2010     14:50:08     D01     MaxDB Monitoring: D01     Last Backup     Last Complete Data Backup Return Code     ACTIVE     0002 - ERROR
i dont know if it means anything...
Also in table SDBADSDB is following record:
    1     20:00:00     20100216134109     D01     20100405200000     20100405200038     ALLNC     sda     20100405200040     20100405200040     9999          Update task ADA_INSERT_SDBADSDB 01
    => EXT2 contains "Update task ADA_INSERT_SDBADSDB 01"
So I think only opening CSN message is only applicable here... but how to do it and what exactly is CSN message (like I said, I am not regular administrator...)?
And also I have found another strange issue - although file with DB backup has still 0 B, free space on that HDD is still shrinking, but no sizes of directories are increasing... in numbers - all files on that HDD (including hidden and system files) have 663 GB, but in properties of this HDD is that 1.06 TB is used - so the difference is cca 400GB (what is 2x more than previous complete DB backup and +100GB to actual DB size...).

    Hi Experts,
Excuse me for trying to brief the Issue in such manner which may not be apt. or appear stupid to many Experts.   But I am newbie to Oracle Apps !
After registering the  EBS R12.1 Vision, DB version 11.2.0.3.0   with OID 11.1.1.6  successfully with  $FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl   Before that Registered EBS Instance with OID
as part of Integrating EBS R12 with OAM-OID 11g according to  (ID :1309013.1)
Once i updated  these profile options i.e  "Applications SSO Type" profile option to “SSWA w/SSO”  and“Applications SSO Login Types” profile option to   BOTH ,   AND
Applications SSO Auto Link User profile option to “Enabled” And “Applications SSO Enable OID Identity Add Event” profile option to “Enabled”.
And than it requyire the EBS tier to be restarted Once i restarted it  Than the following  Issues  Occured.
       1.  As i specified the provisiontype value to 1 which means that  the user that's got created in OID should be populated in fnd_user table in EBS But this is not happening
as the User that i 've created with the ODSM is not propagated to fnd_user table when i verified it with the following query
                   select USER_NAME, CREATION_DATE from fnd_user where creation_date > (SYSDATE - 1);
The Output : no rows selected
    2.  The EBS Login page become inaccessible that is the Login Page goes blank

    Hi Hussein,
    Thanks for the suggested Docs
I 've gone through the Docs that you 've suggested And based on that  made a Comprehensive analysis of the Issues and comes up with these findings even though still short of the resolution
Kindly see  the following and suggest.
    1. The Docs [ID 1109247.1]   suggested to  Remove the value of profile option ' Initialization SQL Statement .

    Hi Michal,
Login with ora<SID> and check whether you are able to connect to sqlplus ( do steps as below )
    1. sqlplus "/as sysdba"
    2. select status from v$instance.
Let us know the ouput of both the command
    Thanks
    Anil

    Hello,
The warning occurs because the database check looks for the logs of all old operations that ended with an error. The text "Last 'log' operation" means: an operation log with the extension ".log"was found for an action that ended with the (error) status RC = 3.
Since the log referred to is old (January 17), you can get rid of it by running:
    brconnect -u / -c force -f cleanup -m 60
(60 is the minimum age of the logs to clean up; adapt this value to your requirements)
Also, it is a good idea to schedule the action "Cleanup logs" periodically via DB13.
    Regards,
    Mark

  • No session found with status "New" or "Error"

    Hi,
I put the statement after the CLOSE GROUP to process the BDC automatically:
      SUBMIT RSBDCSUB AND RETURN
             EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
             WITH MAPPE = SESSION.
             WITH VON = SY-DATUM
             WITH BIS = L_NEXT_DAY
             WITH Z_VERARB = 'X'
             WITH FEHLER = ' '.
And when I ran it I got an error that says
<i>No session found with status "New" or "Error"</i>
When I go to SM35, I see the session in the 'New' tab.  How can I get this to process completely without manual intervention or first thing first no error from running the program?
    Thanks,
    Will

You shouldn't really need the path.  Just make sure that the distribution point has the content for all packages referenced by the task sequence.  You can check that in the Monitoring node of the console under Distribution Status | Content Status
or by going to the Distribution Pints node in Administration.  Right click the DP in question and select properties.  Then go to the COntent tab

  • Just cloned Prod to Test - adalnctl.sh: exiting with status 1

I just ran through my process to clone Prod to Test. I'm no expert but this has been done before without too many issues.
The problem I have now is when running adalnctl.sh start and I get 'adalnctl.sh: exiting with status 1'.
My configuration is 11.5.10 CU2 running in a two tier environment with forms and reports on the app tier.
Part of my process I follow is to submit some Concurrent Requests to clean-up old jobs. That's where I first noticed the job status showed as Phase=Inactive and Status=No Manager. If I check via the dashboard it shows CCM as running though.
So I decided to shut things down and restart and that where I noticed the 'apps listener' if that's the correct term as Failed.
I have run adpreclone on the Prod environment before backing up and restoring and then ran adprelcone in the Test environemt followed by adautocfg etc.
So I'll double-check to see if I've missed a step but just not sure where to start looking.
Looks like there should be a listener that tuns out of the 8.0.6 HOME?
I should mention this is on the db_tier which runs CCM and the apps_tier doesn't have this problem.
Example with the exact name edited:
Setting service OracleTNSListener80APPS_XXXX_xxxx to mode 2
    Executing service control script:
    /app/orafin/xxxx/xxxxcomn/admin/scripts/XXXX_xxxx/adalnctl.sh start
Timeout specified in context file: 100 second(s)
    script returned:
    adalnctl.sh version 115.17
    Checking for FNDFS executable.
    Starting listener process APPS_XXXX.
    adalnctl.sh: exiting with status 1
    .end std out.
    .end err out.
    - then later the logs shows:
    [Service Control Execution Report]
    The report format is:
    <Service> <Script> <Status>
    OracleTNSListener80APPS_XXXX_xxxx adalnctl.sh Failed
    OracleConcMgrXXXX_xxxx adcmctl.sh Started
    OracleReportServer-Rep60_XXXX adrepctl.sh Started
