Loading 3D objects and their animations

Hi all:
I want to load some 3D objects (humanoid) with different animations(walk, jump...) which depend on the situation in the game. Objects and animations are made with 3dStudio max 5.0.
I have found a lot of documents and loaders for several types of objects 3D (particullary .3DS, .wrl ), but I have some problems:
* With an 3D object .3ds, I can load and show an humanoid with textures, but I don't know how load and attach an animation (.bvh, .cvm or .bip). I haven't got any documents about this.
* I have tried to load a vrml97 file with Xj3D, but it seems that the vrml97 produced by 3dStudio can't be loaded by the Xj3D, whereas with the other vrml97 files there is no problem. But a solution with vrml is not very good because objects and animations are not separated.
Can anyone help me?

I remember reading somewhere that some dude successfully loaded up neverwinter nights models in a java3D canvas, and one of them had active fire animation.
So loading an animation should be feasible :)

Im using oracle database 11g R2 11.2.0.2If you want the all the metadata of whole database, then it is quiet difficult to get from DBMS_METADATA, as it is very complex because you need to gather for each object of each schema in whole database and to spool.

Animation: how can I move objects (and their transform keyframes)?

Hi,
I have created a project with a group of layers which all move (have transform keyframes set up).
Now I want to move the group, but when I do this and then run the animation, the position of all the transform keyframes I have set up remain in the same place.
Is there some way to move a group of objects and the location of their transform keyframes at the same time, or will I have to go through each keyframe and move them individually?

Listing objects and their instance names (of closed source SWF)

I have an API for a flash player that I want to use, but it is closed source. I know I could try a decompiler but I need to see what it loads and what it's doing at runtime.
I'd like to see the objects (and all their info) that it loads and has on stage along with thier instance names. I'd like to see what this SWF has/does so I can write my AS3 code accordingly... maybe add some additional event listeners.
Is there any was to go about doing this? I know there's some AS3 commands to get this information but I dont know what they are. If you all could give me some hints at which commands would be useful that would be great.

You can use Fiddles, Charles or Firebug to monitor traffic (what it loads).
As for the rest of your question - good luck. Although it is possible to decompile swf of course, reverse engineering is an extremely complex time consuming task. In the majority of cases it is easier and faster to replicate functionality from scratch than to try to understand SWF's logic.
Unless you know packages structure - there is no native way to figure out/access application domain.

Help with Classes, Objects and their relationship.

Alright, I've got this assignment from a computer science class that won't stop annoying me and I need some help. This is the complete assignment: http://zebra0.com/Tarraga/CS103/Project4.php
What I'm having issues with is the course specifications. It says:
? Create a course class. It will contain the course name, 5 Student objects, the number of Students, etc. It will contain an addStudent(), printRoll() and average() methods. You may add methods as needed. The average method computes the average of all students test score averages.
I'm not sure what my instructor means by 5 student objects. I'm assuming that addStudent() would create a new student() object (from the class which I've already created here: http://zebra0.com/Tarraga/CS103/studentP4.php) and printRoll() will print the existing objects, average() I think I know.
So...wth am I supposed to create 5 student objects for? Or what are they referring to? I'd assume that the student objects are created only when the user inputs the student data, not internally.
My question is what I'm assuming to be extremely newb-ish, and to be honest I am a complete newbie, but if anyone can help please do so.
Edit: Another question I had regarded my student class would be, do I need to write getters/setters for every value in there? My instructor wouldn't stop raving about how we need getters/setters, but at this point I'm not exactly sure what they do.

You could say that, yes. But honestly...I've been paying plenty of attention. What I've learned so far about an object in Java is the following:
An object in programming is like an object in real life. It makes up the program. Just like a wheel is part(object) of a card, an object is part of the program.
That's what my teacher has taught me, with pictures even. I've written about two GUI and one non GUI projects so far that I had to look to the book to actually finish. And that's her general answer to all our questions, "read the book!" She doesn't ever take time from showing us her precious powerpoints to actually teach us. And not once has she actually given us examples of coding. She instead directs us to the programs in our book which may or may not be of relevance.
And all the tutors who could actually help me aren't on campus. If you'd like to redirect me to a link that may hold useful (and RELEVANT) information, please do so.
Also: I do understand that a student object would hold student information (I.E.:
public student (String firstname, String lastname, double score1, double score2, double score3, double score4)but I don't understand why 5 student objects should be created in the other class...is it that they have to be initialized and then once the user inputs the information, they are updated? I'm grasping at straws here.

Loading an external swf that loads an object from url

i am trying to load an external swf that in turn automatically loads an object. i want the external swf to only be loaded once the object is loaded in it. right now it loads the external swf first and then the external swf loads the object specified at a url...

thanks kglad. i think i need to try and load the external swf, wait for it to load its object, and then display it... will look into it and get back...

I have a task to that involves Importing all existing users and their objects in production to the test database without doing a full database import - Please how do i do this?

File Server Resource Manager will not load WMI Objects on Windows 8.0/8.1 Preview with Hyper-V and Server Tools Loaded

I have a problem getting "File Server Resource Manager" to start properly because WMI objects are not loading??? I don't understand this at all because I am able to access them with other Apps, etc. I have been over my Services list as well but
have not yet discovered which Service turns on/off "File Server Resource Manager". I have looked in Windows\System32\ and I can not find SrmSvc. I found other Srm's there though. I also found the FSRM Snapin which generates the Figure below but I
can not find it in the WMI Browser. I believe the Firewall is OKAY since I have been over that thoroughly. I do have the Server Tools Installed for Windows 8.0 or Windows 8.1 Clients as well as the Windows Updates applied, which is where I got "File Server
Resource Manager" in the first place. I have had WMI and Powershell 3.0 Package, installed since Windows 7 but I run a repair on them anyway.
I have read through "File Server Resource Manager could not load WMI objects on Windows Server 2012
Article ID: 2831687" but since I don't seem to have SrmSvc the solution doesn't help me. I haven't been able to find a similar one for the Windows Client.
If there is anything you could share on this problem I would be much obliged.

SQL Loader Constraints with Column Objects and Nested Tables

I am working on loading a Table that (god forbid) contains columns, column objects, and nested tables (which contains several depth of column objects). My question is does SQL Loader have a hidding undocumented feature where it states how the column objects must be grouped in refereneced to the nested tables within the loader file? I can load the various column objects, and nested tables fine right now, however, I am loading them all in strange and insane order. Can anyone answer this question? Thanks.

Thru OEM get list of queries and their schemas that accessed my objects

I have a list of objects on my schema and i need to track the list of sql queries by different users that accessed by object during this time period.
i haven't enabled any auditing yet.
is there any way i can get that list of queries and their schemas that accessed those particular objects during a particular time period through OEM.

Is it possible to drop users and their objects (default tablespaces, stored procedures, etc.) ?

... because it drops what they own, and they don't own the default_tablespace, it might be used by lots of people.

Loading external swf and object error

Hello Forum,
I have two swf files, Flash CS3, action script 3.
One file can be considered to be the parent container, it
does have some objects on its stage.
The other file is a file that I would like to load into the
master file using the Loader object.
The file that I would like to load, works fine (or so it
seems) standalone. This file contains
a timer object, a loader object (which loads images from an
xml file), and XMLLoader feature,
and a button that I have created from a class that i have
created for a button. I can set the
label for the button from the swf like a property. This swf
is all Actionscript, using
addchild to get the various things on the stage.
I am using actionscript to load the objects on the stage in
the external file - as opposed to having
them on the timeline before hand.
When I try to load this external swf file in to a parent swf
file I get an error like this:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of
a null object reference.
at weekly_tasks_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()
This error happens whenever (in the external swf file) i add
an object
(like a button or a textfield) to the stage of the exteranl
swf file.
I am able to load other swf files ok (as long as I did not
create them!).

I sat typing into the quick reply, but this isn't sorry.
The issue here is that when you roll over another object
within the application it assumes that you have moved out of the
current object even if the new object is within the container of
the current object.
Hope that makes sense upto now. I had the same problem and
had to do this...
On mouse Over pr Rollover on internal object I run the stop
propogation and then restart the mouse over of the parent
container.

Slow creating ReportDocument object and loading report

Hi all,
I realise this question has come up several times before, I've been searching the internet and have found similar problems but non that match my own. Sorry this is a little long winded but I would like to give as much detail as possible.
I use CR 2008 and VS2010 on my development machine. And I have installed CR 2008 Redist SP3 on the production server.
My application is a simple console application accepting parameters such as report name, print or export, and of course the report parameters.

rptDoc.Load(sParamDOC); //sParamDOC being the report name passed in via command line
It has to be like this because it integrates into an old system in the background. Of course it being like this means I can not pre-load dll's on application startup (as I've seen suggested several times).
All of this is in house, I'm an OU administrator and an administrator on the server. The server is only accessed via remote desktop and the OS is windows server 2003. I installed all of the neccesary software to make this work.
What is really puzzling me though is that when I use this program via command prompt, logged in as me, it creates the object and loads the report in a matter of seconds. Yet if anybody else runs it (even other administrators of the server) the program can take 30-60 seconds to create the ReportDocument object and the same again to load the report.
I initially only noticed this for the standard users, which was why I created another admin to test. I don't think it's a problem with the report design because it works quick for me. I read an article about this happening with reports created in Crystal version 9. So I tested with a report made from scratch in 2008 and still get the same result. I also read another article about default printers, 'dissociate printer' option is selected and locally the default printers are set to the same printer also.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I could look next?
I saw in another article some registry keys you can use to turn on logging for crystal reports, I want to do this but where does it put the log files?
Oh, one more thing the server orginally had redist 2.3 on when I noticed this issue, updating to SP3 (redist 3.3) if anything made it slower, and a little more inconsistant of load times.

I figured out what this was. I thought I would come back and post incase anyone else has the same issue... the reason it was slow for the other users is because they could not access the internet. My program doesn't use the internet but the operating system is automatically trying to verify the dll's publishers. you can disable this see the following blog:
