Is their a way to load a file only when their is something changed in the file?

Well you're going to have to read it in some form or another to see if 'something changed in the file'..
What about storing the old file's size in bytes and using the 'Get File size' function to return the current size of the file in bytes. If there's a difference between your stored value and the current value, then the size of the file has changed.
Of course this will only work if the file's size changes and will not work if your overwriting an existing file with similar data which may contain the same number of bytes.
Maybe you could provide some more details for futher solutions

I have developed a update prg which will update the Final invoice indicator and Goods reciept indicator in SRM as well as in R/3 only for 'ORDERED' PO's. This was done using BBP_PO_PD_UPDATE FM. Everything is working fine, all the indicators are getting updated as expected both in SRM and R/3.
Only problem is that when the indicators are updated in SRM, PO Output is getting generated which should not happen.
Do you have any idea how to stop the OUTPUT.
This is very urgent.

Sorry, in my app I have an ArrayCollection of items from a news feed that the user has deemed important, and given each item a rating. The For loop will loop through the "newsDB" array and set the var accordingly (positive, negative, neutral). The variables are what is populating the arrayCollection (ratingAC). How would I either a) bind the variables to the ArrayCollection so that it updates when one has changed, or b) update the specific index in the array collection. When debugging, i notice that the variables are updating, but the arrayCollection is not.

Not without help. WebView is just a brower. You would need to poll or use an asynchronous notification mechanism.

Can someone please help. I am distinctly un tech and when trying to update my ipad so we could use bbc i player the software will not load back on to the ipad. Did save all the pictures. I have updated itunes . It says ipad may need service is this true? do they need regual servicing? We are going on hols in a week and no ipad for the airport fills me with horror please help

OS hangs at loading progress bar when restarting after Security Update

I've searched for other people who have had issues with the Security Update, but my issue doesn't seem to have been solved. Here's the story:
Just installed the new Security update. Shut the computer down for the night, started it up, and halfway through starting up it restarted itself again. It got past the grey Apple, the blue progress bar started loading, got to the end, but doesn't go anywhere. I've let it sit for 15 minutes, but no progress. The internal fan sounds like an airplane taking off, it just keeps going faster and nothing happens. Tried rebooting in safe mode, but it got hung up on the grey Apple and spinning wheel of death.
Anything I can do from the Terminal to fix this?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Have your tried:
Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it says anything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior

No badge alert on setting icon when the new ios update is released

Hi all,
I use iphone 5. I found that a badge is not shown on the setting icon when a new ios update is released. Only way letting me know that there is an update is manual check update, i.e. go to setting->general->software update. I think, normally, the badge should present automatically on the setting icon everytime the update is released. Does anyone find this problem? How to solve this?

I have the exact same problem. Been searching Google for answers but have found none :-(
I upgraded from an iPhone 4s to 5 recently. I had the Settings badge show up right after I got the phone, but after I got home and did a restore from backup to get my 4s stuff over to the 5, then no more badge notification.
I can't find any settings anywhere to help with this.
Anybody got any suggestions/thoughts/fixes/etc?

After hours and hours of wrong password I placed one that I set up when I bought the iPad, I remembered that password I had to put it even if had disabled the option of asking me a passcode so, I placed that old one and !!!cabum! it continued the settings so, start thinking....

It should be available in Q2, and don't ask them with this question, it will only disturb them in the process of making firmware, it will come when it's ready .You don't want to end up with a buggy firmware, do you? Just wait and please be patient.

Hi all,
What will be occurs when a class file (*.class) in an objectcarousel is updated ?
Will all application be re-initialized? or
Will just only this class be reloaded? or
Must we do some codes to explicitly reload this class ?

If the class is already loaded then nothing happens when the class is updated.
If the class is not loaded then when the class is loaded, the current version at that time will be loaded.

Have a program in which a sub vi front panel pops up when the main vi is loaded

I have a strange problem.
This problem only occures after building an application using LV 8.6 Professional version Application Builder, and I have installed it onto the target computer. It doesn't happen when running the development system.
When I load the program on the target computer, one of the subvi's front panels used in the application appears on top of the main vi's front panel.
This subvi should never appear on the front panel at any time during the program exicution.
It happens to be the Write to Spreadsheet.vi that is part of the standard vi library.
I have checked all calls to this subvi to verify that it has not be modified to make it load or appear when the main vi is loaded.
It is called at 4 different times during the program exicution but in no instance is it set to show the front panel.
Has anyone seen this and if so what was the fix?

Does the exe file run on your development computer without the popup?
Can you post a VI that demonstrates this behavior?
You've probably already checked, but there are two places that need setting, the SubVI Node Setup, and the File Proeprties Execution tab. See attached jpegs.
