Loading vst file in Elements 11

I was able to load TAL-Reverb-2.vst sucessfully in Elements 10 but have not had sucess yet in Elements 11. It is in the folder Adobe Premiere Elements 11/Contents/Plug-ins/en_US.
This was the plugins log:
Loading /Applications/Adobe Premiere Elements 11/Support Files/Adobe Premiere Elements.app/Contents/Plug-ins/en_US/TAL-Reverb-2.vst
The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache.
The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.
I then was able to find the .plist file and change the ignore flag from 1 to 0 but this didn't seem to make any difference as it's still not loaded.
Any suggestions?

I do not have a MAC machine now, but on my Windows machine, the folder is Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 11\Plug-ins\en_US\VSTPlugins
Is there no VSTPlugins folder on MAC for Premiere Elements 11? Was it there for PRE10?

I am using Primier Elements 8 on a PC running Vista. I am trying to load and edit a 1.9 G AVI file that contains video and audio in Elements 8. When I load the file into Elements I get a video track that has the video but the audio track that does not have any audio. Any idea as to what is causing the problem and what I need to do to fix it?

Hi,
The D7100 requires ACR 7.4 to read the NEF files.
You would need Photoshop Elements 11 to be able to install that ACR or version 12 which has it in already
You could get Lightroom but if you do any manipulation of images using layers and the like, you might still need an editor like the Elements editor. Lightroom doesn't have facial recognition if you use that facility.

Problems loading RAW files from Canon 6D in Elements 10

Elements 10 - Windows: I have been using the software for a couple of years and never had a problem loading RAW files from my Canon T2i ir 60D, however I just purchased a Canon 6D and when I try to load a RAW from the 6D I get Cannot open 'C:\User...CR2' because it is the wrong type of file. I thought cameraraw 6.5 patch would be the fix but when trying to install I get "Error loading Updater workflow"

Will the DNG files perform the same, meaning will I retain all the information that makes RAW important for processing?
Yes. That's why DNGs were invented. Adobe has put a lot of work into the DNG format for this very reason.
Raw files are proprietary and manufacturer specific. Raw formats change with every make and model of camera. Software must be updated for the new Raw format of every single camera. Adobe does an admirable job of upgrading Camera Raw for every new camera.
DNG is also a Raw format but it's open source and works in any software which can read the DNG format. If camera manufacturers used the DNG format instead of their own Raw format, you would not have to upgrade Elements 10. But they don't, and probably never will, so you must upgrade the Camera Raw plugin (and therefore Elements 10 since it's not compatible with the new Camera Raw) to read the new Raw format from the 6D or add another step to your workflow with conversion to DNG first.

How can I get Elements 12 to load raw files from my Nikon D5300. I have installed DNG Conv. 8.7.1

I cannot get Elements 12 to recognise and load NEF files from my Nikon D5300. I have downloaded and installed the latest DNG coverter software 8.7.1 but Elements still refuses to load any NEF files.

Hi,
You shouldn't need to use the DNG converter unless you are using the MAC app version. The D5300 should be supported by Camera Raw 8.3 which should be compatible with Photoshop Elements 12.
In the editor go to Help -> About Plug-in -> Camera Raw to see which version you have loaded. The latest for Photoshop Elements 12 is 8.5. If you have an older one then go to the Help menu and select Updates.
If you are up to date, then you may have use old Nikon software to access the NEF files and that is known to corrupt them so that Photoshop Elements can't read them.

What computer operating system is involved?
There is no guarantee that a project created in an earlier version can be opened in a later one. Many times it can, but...
If you do try this, then please consider working from a copy of the project 10 project file and then trying to open that in 13/13.1.
Reason: projects created in an earlier version and then opened and edited in a later version cannot be opened again in the
earlier version.
And, there is always the issue of maintaining the connect of the source media with the project file. Is this move from 10 to 13/13.1
happening on the same computer and are the source media in the same place where they were when they were first imported
into the 10 project. Disc menus consideration may enter into this depending on your details.

It loads a jar and searches it looking for drivers (classes implementing directly or indirectly interface java.sql.Driver) At the end of the execution I have found all drivers in the jar file.
The main application loads jar files from an XML file and instantiates one DriverFinder for each jar file. Error while loading WSDL File in Eclipse

IWAB0399E Error in generating Java from WSDL: WSDLException (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portType/wsp:Policy): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Encountered unexpected element 'Policy'.:
Please advice how to resolve it.

It seems that your WSDL is not well defined, you need to test your wsdl via WS-I compliance in order to check if the wsdl is well created, you can do this via soapui, just create a new project, import the wsdl file or set the URL, left click in the project and select check WS-I compliance, this tool will test your wsdl and gives you a detailed report of what might be the problem.

Load XML file from addon domain without cross-domain Policy file

Assuming that there are two addon domains on the same server: /public_html/domain1.com      and      /public_html/domain2.com
I try to load XML file from domain2.com into domain1.com without using cross-domain policy file (since it doesn’t work on xml files in my case).
So the idea is to use php file in order to load XML and read it back to flash.
I’ve found an interesting scripts that seems to do the job but unfortunately I can't get it to work. In my opinion there is somewhere problem with AS3 part. Please take a look.

I think you might be right about permissions/settings on the server for php. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to adjust them.
So I wrote my own script - this time I used file path instead of http address of the XML file. It works fine in my case.

PS: for those who read the above discussion: the first and the second script work but you must test which one is better in your situation. The first script will also work between two domains on different servers. No cross domain policy file needed.

Opening Raw Files in Elements 9

Just loaded my copy of Elements 9 which I upgraded to so that would open
Raw files from my Nikon D7000. However, when I try to open my
files in Editor, no Raw Converter
opens and I get a program error as reason. What do I do

If the error is wrong file type then you probably need to update to the newest version of camera raw.
In the pse 9 editor go to Help>Updates and that should download and install the
newest camera raw plugin.

I think you may have read that the wrong way round. The question is whether or not a PRE9 file can be opened in PRE7, not can a PRE7 file open in PRE9.
So RacheySC92 the answer is No - you cannot open a '9' project in '7'. You may open a '7' project in '9' but it is not at all recommended and could go bad on you at any time.

How to load XML file to DB

Hi All,
My requirement is I have a XML file, its data should be stored in Database.
Below is the sample XML file.

I have a table with columns name say TransType,SeqNum
the value 940,04 from XML file should be saved in TransType,SeqNum Column respectively
I am using file adapter with native format builder,selecting file type as complex type and
In design schema,I'm not able to proceed,i'm getting error in POP up as:
Native Format builder:error
No global elements exist.
How can i proceed or any other way to load XML file to DB.
urgent Help/suggestion is required.

1)If my input is .txt file.
we can use file adapter,using native builder,sample it,
delimited/fixed length, we can do normal file read and file write/DB write.It works fine.
2)If my input file is xml file,we can't use native builder format(Because it doesn't support
delimited/fixed length/complex character in native format builder).
so,as said in the above reply,i took a sample XML file & converted to XSD using
File Menu > New > All Technologies tab > General > XML > XML Schema from XML Document.

I can write my XMl file into write folder as it is using opaque object(No native format translation)
I can write XML file into DB using BLOB data type.
But my requirement is:
I have a table with columns name say TransType,SeqNum
the value 940,04 from above XML file should be saved in TransType,SeqNum Columns respectively.
Can i do it using DOM parser/SAX parser?
So any suggestion/help required

Issues using multiple load-config files with ant

Not sure if this is the correct place...
I am creating an ant build script to compile our flex application. I am trying to use the default flex-config by doing <load-config filename="${flex.sdkPath}/frameworks/flex-config.xml"/> and project specific config file add the datavisualization module and any other libraries we might need in the future. I am trying to do this as I don't want to modify the flex-config.xml
The issue I keep running into is I get a compiler error saying "unable to locate specified base class 'spark.comonents.application..". if I place the custome load-config file above the adobe default flex-config it gives errors stating it the "SeriesSlide" type

It seems to be that the first "load-config" ant runs into is the only one that gets used. When looking around the internet I have multiple cases of where people say they have successfully used multiple load-config files.

If I had to guess on what was wrong I believe my FB-config.xml file is incorrect but I can't find an example of anyones custom configuration file.
Any guidance would be apprecaited.

I am embarrassed to say that your solution answered my question.
I was about 10 min away from rewriting my Ant script to just use the mxmlc.exe directly instead of the mxmlc ant tag. I kept running into the -flex-config+=YourConfig.xml for the command line option but never saw the xml variant.
