Loadjava puts the whole program on one line

Hi,
I have used the loadjava facility standalone and within Oracle9i jDeveloper and found that when I upload the java source, it puts the whole program on one line. Also if I have left blank lines in the source code, they appear as 'null' in the stored procedure.
See below is my code:

Thanks, i'll try it out,
However, it isn't just the code that appears on one line. All teh functions and packages all appear on one line and they are generated either by JDev and hence are out of my control.
You would have thought that this would have been one of the types of things the JDeveloper development team would have tested, so i'm hoping it just a configuration somewhere.

Why won't my dvr record the whole program?

Why won't my dvr record the whole program I'm watching when I press the record button. It only records from when I pushed the button.
I can go through "menu" to "DVR" to "Create New Recording" to "Manual Recording" and then hit "OK" and it record from when I first started watching a program.
I used to only have to press record to do this.
I've "Refreshed Devices", Went through "Auto-fix MRDVR Issues" and ran both programs.
Still only records from the time I hit "Record", not back to when I started watching the program.

I have basically the same problem, although what's most confusing is it's not completely consistent. When I've been watching a program from the start, there have been times that I've pressed the Record button at some point in the show and everything has been recorded, including the buffered content. But most of the time, that does not happen. Even when I've been on the same channel the whole time and press Record, it usually only records from that point forward, and loses the buffered content. And if I've paused or backed up into the buffer at all, then pressing the Record button only records from that point in live TV forward.
I can't figure out whether there's something I need to do differently. There's more than one way to start a recording -- you can press the red Record button; you can press Info and Record Episode; or you can create a manual recording. I've tried these different ways and it doesn't seem to make a difference in terms of whether the buffered content is recorded or not. I also wonder if it's somehow tied to how much disk space is available.
Thanks for any suggestions or comments. I find this EXTREMELY frustrating. I was a DirecTV customer before and loved the way their DVR worked. I've been with Verizon for about 4 years now and still don't like it. The only thing I do like is the multi-room capability, which DirecTV couldn't offer at the time.

I've updated all my software and iTunes on my Macbook Pro but when I went to open iTunes it tells me it's either corrupted or not installed correctly and to reinstall it. Is there anyway to fix it without reinstalling the whole program?

After saving a htaccess file, why the text is on one line

hello all,
I am a webmaster and some time I have to setup a htaccess file (.txt file)When I edit it with Textedith, I make a modification and I save it. Nothing works.
When I open the same file with a PC, all the text is in one line. of course it will not work.
Can some one tell me why the file is not saved in the format when I open it, so it saved in one line?

TextEdit isn't the best choice for editing configuration files, since it doesn't use Unix line endings -
I thought TextEdit did use Unix line endings (LF). The reason it is all one line on a PC is that PC's do not, and thus will only display new lines if line endings are Windows format (CR + LF).
I don't think there should be any problem editing config files with TextEdit, but TextWranger is better, and it also easily handles file names that begin with a dot.

Delete last line of a textfile without putting the whole file in memory

Hello!
I want to delete the last line of a text file without loading the whole text file into thememory. My problem is as follows:
A algorithm generates output that has to be written into a text file. This happens periodically - the output goes straight into a xml file. The xml file looks like this:

<step>
<time>2006-06-19 10:55:20</time>
<result>12321</result>
</step>
<step>
<time>2006-06-19 10:58:20</time>
<result>41515</result>
</step>
</test>
The XML file must be valid, so I have to delete the last line ("</test>") before I add a new <step>-section.

For processing in a separate tool which understands XML, then using a DTD to declare an external entity is often better - you wrap the entity in the document root element, so you can just append to the end of the file the entity references and not bother about inserting before the closing tag.

How do you remove a desktop icon with out deleting the whole program?

i downloaded software online and it went into my application folder but instead of just the program the whole folder did with manuals and everything, so i copyed that to the desk top and then put the just the program back into the application folder. Now how do i delete the other one off the desktop, with out deleting the program,

If you removed the application from the folder of other files, then deleting the folder has no effect on the application file. However, you might check that the application doesn't require any of the files in that folder before you remove it. Drag it to the Trash, but don't Empty the Trash until you're sure the application works without it.

How to put grouped results all on one line.

I amt trying to get Principal, Interest, Principal YTD, Interest YTD from a transaction table to get them all on one line, but I can't seem to get it. I have a script here that can run without modification to see what I have here. The very last query is
incorrect, as it puts each value on a separate line, but it demonstrates what I am getting so far. What I want is one account number with 4 columns, as above mentioned. Keep in mind, in this illustration, YTD is last year and forward:

Refresh the whole page in one case in SPRY

I have created login page in php, Using spry i posted the
form in same page,getting response in div section i.e. <div
id="response_form1" align="center"></div>
when i supply wrong password the form submitted and error
message appeared in <div id="response_form1"
align="center"></div>.
Now my question is that how can i achieve the whole page to
be refreshed when i successfully authenticated.
In other words
i want the whole page to be changed in one case (redirect the
whole page).
and in other case response will be getting in DIV (Not whole
page will be updated/posted).

First, U need to update your setInnerHTML function of
SpryData with this:

WHY CAN'T I JUST CLOSE 1 EMAIL INSTEAD OF CLOSING THE E MAIL AND THE WHOLE PROGRAM?

OK! I HAVE AN E-MAIL OPEN. I HAVE READ IT AND I WANT TO CLOSE IT. I LEFT CLICK ON THE X OF THE E MAIL. NOT ONLY DOES THE E-MAIL CLOSE, BUT THE WHOLE THUNDERBIRD PROGRAM CLOSES TOO. ALL I WANT IS JUST TO CLOSE THE E MAIL -- NOTHING ELSE. HOW DO I DO THAT?

And when I click on that top-right X, it closes just the message window and leaves Thunderbird running. I can't tell what you're doing differently.
You could close a message window with the Escape key, usually at top left of your keyboard. Or ctrl+w, or alt+F4. But the X ought to work too. Or you could set it to open in a tab, with its own close button as in my picture (but tabs have also confused a lot of people who go for the X at top right and so close the program.)
Or you could do as I do and read your messages in the bottom pane. But I'm guessing from your choice of block capitals that you have eyesight issues and need things as big as possible.

Stop whole program with one button

Hi, I've written a program for reading some values out of a measurement instrument. Now i want to have one button which stops the entire program no matter in which loop or which subVI the program is in. I have a subvi to make a connection to the device and i can't get out of this when he is trying to make that connection. Also the stopbutton i've used now is only read when the program is in a specific while loop. Can is solve this problem. I've attatched my program.

You will need to use global variables to communicate between VIs. Don't make it a habit since using them can lead to race conditions and synchronization problems, so I would recommend that you look into functional global variables, semaphores, notifiers and queues. The Help document in LabVIEW has detailed explanations on each one of them.
You will need to call a subVI in parallel if you want to continue with the execution of other tasks in your mainVI. I have created a quick example which shows the use of a global variable and using a subVI in parallel.

Got a Mail 'update' and the whole program is sqiffy!

Hi Most Knowledgeable Colleagues - I launched my computer yesterday after it being off for a day, I opened Mail as usual, was asked if i'd like to be 'shown' new features - clicked okay and then found my pop accounts had disappeared and .me account had replaced it. I tried various ways to delete this and restore my pop accounts but to no avail - so i re-set-up all my pop accounts. Then after several thousand emails loaded i found it wouldn't delete them. So i did some 'rebuild' which partially worked, but there seems to be allsorts of glitches: mail is marked as sent then seems to be back in outbox, sending is very slow, some messages appear in deleted folder other don;t, mailboxes won't delete despite several attempts/reboots etc they are still there.. Where is the Junk folder?
Is there a fix/update or am I the only one who is having this problem? Thanks - L

It really sounds like you need a fresh install of the latest version. Here are the steps:
* Get the latest version: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
* Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
* Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox

IPhoto '08. Does TM treat the whole lib as one file?

I just upgraded to iLife 08 and noticed that iPhoto stores the whole photo lib in one package. Next TM backup copied 7 Gb to the backup drive. That's about the size of my photo lib.
I'm wondering if Time Machine treats iPhoto lib package as one file meaning that it will backup the whole thing even if I add just one photo into the lib?

Hop over to the iLife iPhoto area. But the photo library is just a package, still has folders and from what I read (haven't upgraded yet) on MacFixit, backups should just see the internal package changes, not the 7GB every time (and some have even larger libraries),
Maybe it was an attempt to look neat, and that most people don't need to manually look inside the library for where and how files are stored.
