Loan Contract for Multi-company

HI all,
My client has a scenario as the sentences below,
1. subsidiary company need to use loan contract amount with the parent (ex.company 1000 and 2000 use the loan amount together)  , can SAP support for this case?
2. Need the letter of credit (L/C) link with Purchase Order to limit and check the L/C amount remaining (as the credit limit in AR module ), Do u have any idea to do it ?

For your first question:
Yes.  It is possible to create inter company loans.  You need to use the mirror transactions functionality and map the relevant company codes and product types.  This will allow you to create as a borrowing in one company code and it will automatically create an investment in another company code with all the major deal details remaining the same.
For your second question:
The Letter of Credit which can be created through a round about way as a facility inside Treasury cannot be linked with the Sales order.  However, there is a standard letter of credit functionality available inside SD which can be used for your requirement.  It will take into account the LoC for the credit limit.

    Hi,
    The requirement is to process the Sales Contract for multiple company codes, the concern is
    while creating the Contract document in VA41 we get the Sales area as mandatory.
    How to achieve this? if we suppress or make it as optional with some kind of ABAP customisation (what it should it be? usereixt/VOFM routines or what?) would it solve the problem ? if yes ,what would be the impacts on the other transactions.

    If it is a customer contract (SD contracts) then it is not possible to create the document without specifying the sales area. In the overview screen, even if the sales area is not specified, it takes the value from the 'Sold To' customer master record. If the SP exists in multiple sales areas, then the system displays the different sales areas in a popup and we have to select the appropriate one. To my knowledge, even if you manage to create the contract without those details, you cannot refer them for creating the release orders.

    Is it possible to create a central contract for several company code & to Generate Contract release order to a particular company code.

    U can Go for centrally agreed contract
    Contract items can relate to a single plant or to all plants covered by a purchasing organization (centrally agreed contract).   
    All the plants of a purchasing organization can order against a centrally agreed contract.   
    An enterprise working with a central purchasing organization covering several plants can negotiate better conditions at a high level.  
    Centrally agreed contracts can be entered into with a vendor’s entire corporate group. The individual contract release orders can be issued to different individual companies belonging to the vendor corporate group. This is made possible by the partner functionality.  
    You can stipulate that certain plants are to be supplied by certain companies belonging to the vendor corporate group.

  • Application for multi company

    I would use an application on multiply schema, so the modify on application are made only one times but more company are modify. a can't use the company in record because data would increase a lot. so i want set the schema on application before login page. Is it possible?

  • Loans Management - FNVS - Display Loan Contract Cash Flow

    Hi there!
    Ive created a loan contract for the period between 01.06.2012 and 31.12.2012. When displaying the loan cash flow, the data presented is restricted to 30.06.2012 and does not present the other flows associated to the loan.
    Do you know any way to overcome this?

    Check the following configuration setting under Loans Management--
    Loans Management --> Transaction Management --> Product Types --> Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type
    Check the value in field "CM period". This will control the period in which the cash flow is maintained in the database.

  • Creation of a PO with reference to a contract - change of company code

    Hi experts,
    When a PO is made with reference to an existing contract, the company code is copied automatically from the contract into the PO.
    Do you have an idea if it's possible to modify this in the PO? So that we can choose another company code?

    Ofcourse you can change the company code in the purchase order.
    However please check that same purchase organization is responsible for both the company codes.
    However it might give you an error that plant is not assigned to the company code.
    Therefore the best way is to create the PO without reference of that contract OR you can create a contract for the company code in PO and then create a PO with the same.

  • Multi Company scenario in obia

    Please advise on implementing OBI Financial Analytics for Multi Company scenario where each company goes live in each phase.
    Phase 1 - Company 1 goes live
    Phase 2 - Company 2 goes live
    Phase 3 - Company 3 goes live & all 3 Companies Data are available in single OBI Application.
    We would like to know more about the Load Strategy. How to to Full load for Company 2's data without affecting Comapny 1's & 2's Data and so an so forth for Company 3.
    Is there any other alternate way / standard Oracle recommended procedure to do this?

    Hi,
    You could always create a second SQL server instance and share the licence server.  I am doing this to test addons without effecting the production system.  if it runs on the same server you do not need a further licence for a new instance
    However, there are caveats:
    1)  both databases would have to run exactly the same addons.
    2) users would have to change the database server (instance) to switch between the companies.  this would also mean they would have to know an admin password.
    I am sure there will be more but they are the 2 that spring to mind.

  • Conversion Program for Creating Loan Contract

    Has anyone worked on a conversion program to create a Loan Contract?
    I am trying to use a BAPI. Its BAPI_LOAN_CONTRACT_CREATE.
    But the problem is this BAPI is not released by SAP yet.
    Can I use a BAPI which is not released. If YES, then what are the problems I would be facing later. And if NO, then what is the solution to this?

    There are a lot of SAP notes for this BAPI, and none says "don't use it", so you should be fine. You could send a message to SAP pointing them to the unreleased status.

  • Looking for the release note for loan contract IDOC.

         I am trying to  work with "loan contract" , I am worikng in ALE INTERFACE.I am need to use for this IDOC type " LOANSEMBA_GETDETAIL01".
    But this IDOCs are not released .
    I am working in ECC 6 version .
    I have checked with service.sap.com. But unfortunately I am not getting the proper note number for releasing this IDOC .
    Can any one help me out in this regard?

  • How to add payment details to a loan contract?

    Can anyone tell me how add payment details to a loan contract? I´ve searched all the customizing in sap banking but I couldn´t find anything related to this.
    I was able to create a loan contract in TCode FN1V but the payment details area is missing.

    payment details are only active for those product types that has been
    set " post in FI without customer accounts". Maybe here lies the
    difference?
    Please compare the following customizing settings at first:
    Loans -> Transaction Management -> Product Types ->
    Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type
    In case FI posting flag '3' is set here, no payment details are shown,
    not even if the payment details flag is set.

  • Create a multi-company portal

    Hi all
    I´m currently inmersed in the design of a new SharePoint portal for multiple companies (SharePoint 2013 Enterprise). The main idea is to have the same structure for all companies (lists, librarys, public views, ...) but separate the contents (the ítems created
    by a certain user only can be read/modified by users of the same company).
    I see three ways to achieve this:
    1) Using item targeting audiences, but it implies that the destination audience for each new ítem must be filled on ítem creation (too much work for users).
    2) Using an ítem event receiver who assings ítem level permissions to each new ítem according the user group, but this implies performance issues in large lists.
    3) Using 'Variation sites' like a multi-language site, but I´ve never worked with this feature and i don´t know if is it valid for this.
    Which is best? Any other workaround who fill better my requirements?

    I guess I like none of the options.
    1) Not a security feature, but you've mentioned items created by a certain user only be read/modified by users of the same company.
    2) Has significant impact on SharePoint performance, and makes the system harder to understand, I feel this option is bad design.
    3) Meant for creation copies of content that need to be translated in another language.
    Why don't you just use the identical structure lists, libraries, views etc, but use separate folders for each company with separate security settings for each company. That way, each company user only sees the stuff relevant for him/her, if you like  you
    can use views to obscure the use of folders and you can avoid event receivers or workflows.

    I am currently designing a logo for my website/company using illustrator CC . Can i use symbols and put them in the logo for my company ? Is that legal ?

    My inclination as just another user would be of course you can use Adobe-supplied content with your own projects, otherwise why would they give you content.

  • Vendor Data for different company codes/purchase organization

    Hi,
    In Fax massages of POs the fax number is taken automatically from the filed ADRC-FAX_NUMBER.
    We have 2 different companies and each has their own contact number and fax for the same vendor.
    How can I differentiate the numbers to each company code or purchase organization?
    Where can I maintain different fax and telephone numbers for a single vendor, that can be used in the printing of POs?

    Hello,
    If your intention is to use the same vendor code for different company codes, create a new OA partner with the 2nd fax number. You can default the OA partner in the contract.

  • Multi company network

    Hi!
    I’m asked to setup a multi company network. There will be approximately 4-8 small companies around 8-15 people in each company.
    These companies will share some resources as printers and probably a nas. Furthermore they will have their own wlan ssid trunked from E0/7 to the AP.
    Thinking about using asa5505 security plus license. AP will be this one AIR-SAP1602I-E-K9. As of now to allow more ports for users I will just hock up small simple switches to each Ethernet port on the ASA. When there are no more room I will buy a vlan capable switch.
    Each company per vlan.
    company1 Vlan10 192.168.10.0/24
    company2 Vlan20 192.168.20.0/24
    company3 Vlan30 192.168.30.0/24
    company4 Vlan40 192.168.40.0/24
    Shared Vlan100 192.168.100.0/24, printer ip 192.168.100.10
    The companies should be separated from each other and only able to access the internet and the printer vlan. I got public ip in a 248 subnetmask giving me 6 addresses.
    Company1 need to have 1 private ip. Also given ability to access their desktop PC from home. Other companies could share the same public IP.
    Copmany2 will host a web server so it also needs a public ip accessible from outside.
    Setting up Vlan and interfaces is no problem. The problems for me starts when creating NAT rules. Guess I will not use same-security-traffic permit inter-interface and use ACL.
    How should you managed the traffic flow?

    You're on the right track.
    One VLAN per company, each assigned to an interface, no same-security-traffic. Make them all security level 100. Make the printer VLAN 90.
    Create a remote access VPN for company 1 with split tunnel and only give them route to their assigned network. Make the nat rule for them as nat(company1,outside) with dynamic translation to the outside interface. Make separate nat rules for the other companies as well with dynamic translation to one of your other public IPs. Make one specific port forwarding NAT rule for the company 2 webserver.
