Locked for an hour out of my iphone as I cant remember password is it going to keep doing this and increasing them time i'm locked out or should I throw my phone now???? Frustrated Iphone customer:-)

This phone is driving me nuts, not only did I get a random 'you must change your password' I cant remember what I set and it keeps locking me out for longer periods as I try and input the number...... grrrrr someone help me before I throw this against a wall! please:-)

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

The TouchID settings will not be available until you create a passcode, see the article linked below for more information.

You can set up Touch ID in iOS Setup Assistant or by tapping Settings > Touch ID & Passcode. To set up Touch ID, you must first set a passcode. Touch ID is designed to minimize the input of your passcode, but you need a passcode for additional security validation, such as enrolling new fingerprints.

Your only chance is setting it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards, which you already did.

To ensure you don't lose any data you don't want taken off, ensure that each Summary, Apps, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunes U, Books, & Photos have the settings you would prefer on the computer.
If anything gets changed on any of those pages, you will be prompted with that message. If they look fine, especially after adding some media like songs or videos, then you can apply the changes without fear.

If it isn't from something you did (like update iOS on an iPhone, or activate a new iPhone), then yes, I would be suspicious.

Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page. Then run the update with iTunes closed.

I saw this post at about 2:05 becasue I had the same problem. I just tried it again and now the update is downloading! just wait it out. I had to wait about 3.5 hours.
