Log4j works in local tomcat, not in the remote one.

hi,
actually i have this in log4j.properties:
log4j.appender.R.File=${catalina.home}/log/logging.logand it works in local tomcat but it doesn't on remote one.
I have to get it to work on a remote server. I doesn't know where catalina.home is set on the remote server and i don't have a shell to check it out.
I can only see the WEB-INF dir under public_html directory.
I tried already:
log4j.appender.R.File=/public_html/logging.logbut no luck. No files created.
Is there a way to point to WEB-INF dir, that is the only dir of tomcat i can see in the remote ftp?
Something like ${WEB-INF} ?

we ran into a similar problem at work yesterday with no logging appearing when adding a log4j config file to an application but logging appearing in the server config when it wasn't there.
Answer: the app server (JBoss in this case) uses log4j itself and the 2 config files were in conflict so nothing was logged at all.
Removing the application specific config cured the problem.
You probably have something similar going on, with the remote server having its own log4j logging already in place and conflicting with yours.
You might have to switch to another logging system or get in contact with the server admins and have them set things up so the server generates your logs where you can access them.

I have tried the following applet (where ShowMultiApplet() writes a standard applet tag - that works on local but again, not on the server):

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). It also requires the computer to be using wi-fi.

wqn02h, first thing I would do is use Disk utility to repair permissions. Once this is done. Make sure you have the latest versions of the software you use. Also, check the manufacter of your printer/scanner for updated software. If they don't have updated software there are 3rd party alternatives that will work.

On which system you are facing this issue?
Can you ping to the remote system\server successfully?
Initially it seems that this occur due to services issue on system. Might possible that the remote Services component is not installed or is disabled. For that you can add the remote Services component by using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel
before attempting to start the service. If the service is already installed then check whether it is started properly. Additional check the relayed service for Remote and verify.

but does not change the remote file i.e.Index.htm, or three stages1.htm.
My Localroot folder is C:\Gods Plan Web\
The site map layout is C:\Gods Plan Web\Index.htm
The folder for the remote site is /public_html/
Should the local root folder mirror the remote site, i.e./public_html/
if this is so, what should I put into the
(a) Local Root Folder box?
(b) site map layout box?
The FTP is performing well other than changing the intended file.

You should be uploading only the contents of your local root to the public_html folder (remote root).
The index.html you use as your site's home page needs to be in your site root. If you look at your Files window in DW, you should have something like the following...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     index.html
     images
     pages
          page1.html
          page2.html
If you have any folder between Site - and the index.html page, like...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     mywebsite
          index.html
It will upload to the public_html while still in that folder, so to find your page online, you would need to type something like...
www.mydomain.com/mywebsite
public_html should NOT appear within your local files and if it existed there, would cause a redundancy if uploaded. You would need to type www.yourdomain.com/public_html to see the uploaded pages.
If you could post a screen shot of your expanded Files window while connected to the server (just connect and click the Expand button in Files, don't drill down into any of the directories), we may be able to see the issue.

Bugreport: Seed updates all languages, not only the selected one

I just encountered a "Bug" when seeding a multilingual translation.
It looks as if SEED would insert only values for the chosen language mapping (good!), but in case of an update overwrite the values in all languages, not only the chosen one.
I know it is not that bad, but causes some irregular statistics after seeding.
e.g. my applications main language is "eo", language mappings for "en", "de", "es".
When i change a single text (e.g. button label) in the main app and do a seed for "en" i get "3 existing attributes updated and may require translation" (because there are 3 languages...). when i do a seed for "de" right afterwards i get "0 existing attributes updated and may require translation".

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."
