Logical operatin betwen image

i need to do this operation betwen two image jpeg (and,or,xor, not)
i'm a beginner .please give me an example of code
thank you friends

Um...
1) you probably should explain what you want more. I'm guessing you want to compare pixel values, but you should explain more when you ask.
2) don't just ask for code. You'll get much better responses if you show what you have tried to do so far and what isn't working with it then just asking for code.
Look into BufferedImage.getPixels or the PixelGrabber class. You can use these to get pixel values and do whatever operations you want on them.

  • [SOLVED]using dd to make image backup of logical volume?

I recently got my Ocz Revodrive working under Archlinux by creating logical volumes on it which worked out great, i also got openbox configured to my liking but i want to make an image back up of my Revodrives logical volumes into image files to restore for later use.  I was reading the disk cloning wiki about the dd command and just wanted to double check that the dd command below would work ok?
Once i boot into the Arch live usb, and run the following commands it should create an image file on the hard drive mounted under /mnt/backupdata ?  Sorry for the straight forward question, i just want to make sure i have the right command before i back up data i dont have a copy of.
    dd if=/dev/mapper/VolGroupArray-lvroot of=/mnt/backupdata/test.img bs=16m
    dd if=/dev/mapper/VolGroupArray-lvhome of=/mnt/backupdata/test.img bs=16m
Also anyone have any feedback on what blocksize to use for backing up to a standard hard drive, is 16m okay?

Oops heh, i would usually rename it to test1.img and test2.img, i was using it as an example.  Once i create the images, would the commands below be the proper way to restore them?
    dd if=/mnt/backupdata/test1.img of=/dev/mapper/VolGroupArray-lvroot bs=16m
    dd if=/mnt/backupdata/test2.img of=/dev/mapper/VolGroupArray-lvhome bs=16m
    Thanks
Edit: All the commands ended up working perfectly i had to change the lower case m to bs=16M.  Once i did that the image files were created and worked just fine

  • *Logic Pro 9.1.1, Garageband, Waveburner, Abelton suddenly crashed and won't open at all !

I recently was working on a project in Logic Pro 9.1.1, saved the project and put my macbook to sleep. When i return, my mac wont turn on for the first 10-15 minutes sitting on the blank screen with the rotating circle. When it finally loads through and comes on I find that my Logic Pro software along with Waveburner, Garageband, Abelton, basically any DAW that i try to run will not open. The application icon just bounces and then shows the crash report, i also tried simply opening the project file. I have tried re-downloading the Logic Pro software with no luck. I desperately need this software to be working again, i will post the crash report along with this hoping someone could help out.
    Thanks, Alex

    Alex,
If you have to ask about backups then I would have to assume you have not been making any.. be it Clones of your System Drive using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper! (My personal favorite) that you manually save to an external HD or you haven't setup and been using Time Machine that is built into OS X that automatically backs up everything to an ext HD.  I highly recommend you use one of those methods from now on... and in fact i highly recommend you use both methods.. as the Clone method allows you to quickly wipe out everything and reinstall from the clone image to take you back to where you were before any issue arrived. I make one every time before I upgrade anything major.. and I also make one every week...
So, as i said, did you try checking and repairing your System Disk using OS X's Disk Utility? That is the only possible other option you have at this time as you have no backups..
Other than that.. You will probably need to start again from scratch.... formatting the HD.. installing OS X and then your Apps etc...
Make sure you move/copy all personal data files such as Photos, docs, Logic Pro Projects and so on.....to an external HD before you reformat and start again... You can then move those personal data files back manually after you have reinstalled everything...

  • Logic Pro unexpectedly quit and now won't open at all please help!!

    Hi all,
I have a Macbook Pro, 10.7.5 - just the standard one. I use Logic Studio (Logic Pro 9) and normally it works fine but the other day I tried to bounce a track and I got the beachball of death and the message 'Logic Pro has quit unexpectedly, a version has been saved xxxxx (crashed) etc'. This happened everytime I tried to save or bounce or import, in any session - a blank one, or an old one.
So I did some research and on an apple support page ended up deleting the 'Prokit' thing from my library, and downloading the new one (Prokit update 7 I think). I tried opening Logic again and got this message:
'Logic Pro cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Logic Pro works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X.
Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.'
I gave up a bit at this point, and thought I'd uninstall/delete every trace of Logic from my laptop, including the items in preferences (this was recommended online somewhere). I went through the (lenghty!!) process of reinstalling Logic and all the audio content and extra CDs, and the problem is still exactly the same and I can't open Logic.
Can anyone please help? I'm lost without being able to use Logic every day, any advise would be great!!
And I've also just updated Logic and still no luck.
    Thanks,
    David

No third party plug-ins, and no I didn't delete the /cs files.
I back up using time machine.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Logic Express 9 several times, and it is completely up to date. I tried the solution mentioned above (the whole Prokit.framework update thing), but it wont let me install the update, saying that a ,"more recent update", is already installed. However, when i go directly to the Prokit.framework folder it is completely empty. I have already tried zapping my P-RAM as well as repairing my disk permissions.
This stupid problem is becoming a huge pain, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Import from Designer crashes with IMAGE data type

    Hello,
I'd like to report an issue with Data Modeler while importing from Oracle Designer. If you consider this a bug, please let me know if I need to do anything else to request a fix for it.
I've used the import > Oracle Designer Model tool to import an application model. The import runs fine for a while, then crashes with a message "There are errors in import - check log file".
The application to be imported has 509 domains, 963 entities to import.
The summary info displayed after the import (when I close the error message pop up) is:
    All statements: 1472
    Imported statements: 538
    Failed statements: 0
    Not recognized statements: 934
The log file has the lines below:

I see the issue with the IMAGE data type in the log. The model to be imported does have domains and entities using this data type. The domain actually did get imported, but it shows as "Unknown" logical type, even though there is an Image type available in the Data Modeler type list. None of the entities using IMAGE got imported.
Please let me know if you can provide a fix or workaround for this (other than changing the format in Designer).
    Thank you,
    Beatriz.

    Hello Beatriz,
definitely this is a bug. The problem with entities is not IMAGE data type it's supported there (it's overlooked for domains). The problem is volume information - Initial, Maximum, Average, Growth rate. No workaround for that.
Domain can be changed manually if it's just one affected.

  • Image with foreign characters in name won't display

I have an image on my drive whose name has foreign characters ("cpia de frente.jpg"). To display the image my JSP reads the image name from the database and generates the following html:
<img src="../pictures/cpia de frente.jpg">The page then displays a broken image icon for this image. Images in the same list which do not have foreign chars get displayed accurately. When I choose "show image.." in my browser I see that the image name has been rewritten into the following: c%C3%B3pia%20de%20frente.jpg. The rewriting that will display the image is instead c%F3pia%20de%20frente.jpg. I found the correct rewriting on another of my JSP where the image with the foreign chars actually gets displayed correctly although the code to generate the html is the same on both pages and looks something like this (simplified):
    <logic:iterate id="listelement" name="list" property="rows" scope="request" type="org.apache.commons.beanutils.DynaBean">
    <%
    out.write("<img src=\"../pictures/"+listelement.get("name").toString()+"\">");
                             %>  <br>
</logic:iterate> Every image that doesn't have foreign chars in its name gets displayed accurately but images with foreign chars in their names won't display. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks
    Niklas

Thanks, but it doesn't seem necessary to replace foreign characters. It works without replacing in one place but not in another which is confusing. I think it is something with the enconding but can't see what the difference is between the working and non-working code. In both pages I have put <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">I'd greatly appreciate any more suggestions to solve this problem.

  • Image in VC.

    Hi Experts,
    I am new to VC.
I need to get data from R/3 in RFC which is sending data in table in the VC project i need to extract the data from table and for every data i have to display corresponding Image at the portal end along with the data. I need some help in how to go about in this case. where to apply the logic ?
and if i am getting the data in a table would i extract it from the table so that i can display the corresponding image for the data.
    Regards,
    Sanjyoti.

    Hi Sanjyoti,
You can add a bound form for the table (meaning add a form and connect it to the table) and add an image control to the form.
Apply the logic in the image tab of the image control.
    Hope it helps,
    Shay

  • Logic Pro 9.1.7 crashing on startup

I recently switched to a Mac Pro and installed Logic and it was running okay for a while then started crashing as I tried to bounce or save projects, I looked into this problem and found the Pro Kit solution and did what the forum said. I trashed the pro kit frameworks file. When I try to re-install pro kit 7 it says a newer version of Pro Kit is already installed and won't let me install. Logic won't open at all now. I am running Lion. Here's my crash log:

    Any help is appreciated.

Yup - exact same thing happened to me.
I was migrating from an older Mac Pro (2006, 1,1) running Snow Leopard to a brand new Mac Pro running Lion.
I was having weird 'insufficient access" errors, even after repairing and fixing all permissions.  An Apple Support doc recommended trashing and reinstalling the prokit.framework.   But after trashing it, the OS would not let me install the new one, saying "a newer version is already on your system".    THe OS seemed to think I had a newer version even though I'd trashed it, and programs (Logic, iPhoto, Final Cut) would crash immediately on startup, saying the framework file was not found.
Grr.    Calls to Apple Support proved fruitless.  The OS support guys tried hard but were baffled and sent me over to Logic support guys who were not only clueless but arrogant -- they insisted my hard drive was faulty even though it worked with every program except Logic and passed every diagnostic test.
I tried reinstalling Logic Pro from original disks.  No fix.   I tried the OS 10.7.4 combo updater reinstall.  No fix.
My fix was to copy the prokit.framework file from my old Snow Leopard machine onto the new machine.   At least now I'm able to run Logic but only in 64 bit mode.   Attempting to run 32 bit causes an immediate crash on startup.  This ***** coz as we all know Logic only scans certain plugins when in 32 bit mode.   Also, since Logic "Pro" STILL can't export audio to quicktime movies in 64 bit mode,  I have to use iMovie to submit my work...
I'm still hoping there's an answer for this one.   I'll be installing Mountain Lion soon and MAYBE that will do it -- but I don't dare attempt it while I'm still in the middle of projects that are currently running shakily, but at least they're running.
I'm at least a little heartened to see that I'm not the only one stuck in this bind.
