Logos in credits scrolling.....?

I wonder if it is possible to add some logos in credits scrolling.....

Absolutely!
In this Youtube Vid "Load Development with the Sako TRG42" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysGjdyqXrGw), I put scope crosshairs at the start and finish of the end credits, using Motion 5.
At the end of this Youtube vid "WRABF World Championships 2011 Part 1" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVgXH8T8d4g), there are quite a few graphics interspersed with the scrolling credits at the end of the video (it's 13mins long, sorry...).
IIRC, in the WRABF vid, I did the credits again in Motion, with the various logos as additional layers on top of the credits, with keyframes matched to the scroll speed.  It's pretty easy to do.

  • Credits scroll with different colors and txt size

    I am trying to do a credits scroll with different text color and size How do I best do this. I understand how to do it with text/scroll but that doesn't allow me to do different text colors and size. How do I do it with Boris Crawl?
    Message was edited by: Tony Brave

    Hi -
    Mark an In and Out where you want the roll to roll.
    Load Boris Crawl in to the viewer and edit to the timeline.
    Double click on the clip in the timeline.
    On the control tab for Boris Crawl you can set it to roll your text:
    !http://www.spotsbeforeyoureyes.com/Boris%20Crawl%20Set%20Roll.jpg!
    Then click on the box above that where it says click for options and create your roll:
    !http://www.spotsbeforeyoureyes.com/Boris%20Type%20Example.jpg!
    Once you have typed and formatted your text, click apply and you should be able to see the roll.
    The speed of your roll is basically determined by the length of the clip on the timeline, the Controls tab for the clip gives you lots of subtle and not so subtle adjustments - like a soft wipe at the top and bottom of the crawl, etc.
    Hope this helps.

  • IMovie How to slow down credits scrolling?

    The credits scroll too fast to read.  How do I slow it down?

    If the title is over a background (rather than over a video clip), you may also need to separately extend the background clip - either by dragging out the end or using the Inspector to adjust the duration of the background. Having extended the background, you can then extend the title, as explained by AppleMan.

  • Add Logo to Scrolling title

    Good Day Gentlemen,
    I'm a Premiere Pro user moving to FCP, in Premiere it was Quite easy to add an image or logo to a scrolling title (Movie Credits), but I cant figure out how to add one in Final Cut. I tried in LiveType but I could figure it out either. I really want to know how add the logo to scroll with the title
    Eugene
    .

    In LiveType, you would set up your text and logo in the postions, size, color etc that you want.
    Then use the track grouping controls and apply a Scroll effect. Because the text and logo elements are grouped, both move together.
    In Final Cut Pro, you would need to nest the text and logo clips, then apply a global move to the nest.
    Another way is to use Photoshop. Start with one of the video templates that fits the pixel dimensions of your FCP Sequence. Extend the PSD canvas size vertically -doubling or tripling its height to make space for all your elements. Continue to extend downwards as needed.
    When everything is in position, turn off the background, merge visible to send your text and logo to one layer, export as TIFF with transparency enabled.
    Bring that into FCP and use the Motion parameters to move it up the screen.

  • Parallax Scrolling is Shakey

    Hello-
    First and foremost--- GREAT UPGRADE WITH 5.0!  Love the Layers and the Parallax!  I now have the hang of designing with the new scolling options, but I am noticing a serious shaking of the images that scroll slowly.  It also seems to get worse the longer you view the same page, which is problematic since I am buidling a site that is all one long page.
    You can see the problem at cordphillips.com -- if you hit the initial logo, it will scroll you down to the Black and White picture I am referring to.  Is there any way to resolve this issue?
    As always, thanks and best,
    -Cord

    Hi Everyone,
    We are glad that we came up with the solution of the Parallax Scrolling Problem that occurs on the scrolling with the mouse wheels (layers laggings) and jerk in the layers movement while scrolling with the mouse wheel. Just add the below mentioned code and set the time and distance to be covered in one scroll and done! You are good to go then.
    Add this code in the index.html file's head tag
    <script type="text/javascript">
    if (window.addEventListener) window.addEventListener('DOMMouseScroll', wheel, false);
    window.onmousewheel = document.onmousewheel = wheel;
    var time = 1300;
    var distance = 100;
    function wheel(event) {
        if (event.wheelDelta) delta = event.wheelDelta / 120;
        else if (event.detail) delta = -event.detail / 3;
        handle();
        if (event.preventDefault) event.preventDefault();
        event.returnValue = false;
    function handle() {
        $('html, body').stop().animate({
            scrollTop: $(window).scrollTop() - (distance * delta)
        }, time);
    $(document).keydown(function (e) {
        switch (e.which) {
            //up
            case 38:
                $('html, body').stop().animate({
                    scrollTop: $(window).scrollTop() - distance
                }, time);
                break;
                //down
            case 40:
                $('html, body').stop().animate({
                    scrollTop: $(window).scrollTop() + distance
                }, time);
                break;
    </script>

  • In iMovie '11 how do I slow down my credits at the end of my movie.  I typed them in, but the speed is too fast.

    I have iMovie '11, and I can't find how to slow down the "credits" I've typed in at the end of my movie.  I guess
    it would be the scrolling speed.

    Credits scroll at the speed that is necessary for the scrolling to complete by the end of the clip.  So, to slow them down, simply prolong the duration of the scrolling credits title clip by selecting and draggging out the yellow boundary.

  • Quick question about scrolling text....

    Doing quick credits (scrolling). Trying to figure out how to get the (last line of the) text to stop in the middle of the screen, so I can then do a fade....
    I'm sure it's easy, and will keep plugging away here, but if anyone can quickly fire off a note, I'd be grateful...thanks!
    (tried to create a Freeze Frame on this, but it appears it does not recognize Scrolling Text as a clip it can extract from - eg. the freeze frame is just blank.)
    (also can't seem to do a ramp up/down or a Time Remap, etc.)

    I've found the easiest way to do this is to create the text in Photoshop. Start a new PS document ... say 720 x 3000 and create or paste your text. If the document is too long, you can crop off the unneeded part when you're finished with the text.
    Import the PS file into FCP and use the Centering controls to animate it as needed. Use the smooth or Ease In/Ease Out command on the ending keyframe so the stop isn't too abrupt.

  • Creating credits on idvd

    Quick question for everyone out there:
    How do I create end credits at the end of my idvd movie? I want to do something simple... like a black screen with scrolling end credits (like in movies). Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much for your input!!! I am running into a bit of a snag, however. I made my credits in iMovie, but the credit scrolling is set for 4 seconds (the credits scroll REALLY FAST). I have tried to set the duration for longer but it's still set at 4 seconds. Do you know how to set the timing of the scrolling feature so my viewers can actually read the credits? I am a brand-new user to this (if you haven't guessed).
    Thanks for your help!!!

  • Reverse Text Scroll

    Hello all,
    I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to create a reverse credit roll. I was able to create credits that roll from the lower part of the screen, but I was not able to create an animation where credits scroll from the top to the bottom.
    Thanks,
    Z

    depends on how you created your roll…
    easiest:
    • apply a 'Move' behavior to your Text(Group) …
    • under Direction, you can determine up/down or down/up ...
    no keyframes involved

  • Lousy Performance of Mac Pro X1900 XT in Leopard

    Being the paranoid person I am, I installed Leopard to an external FW 800 drive to test it. Immediately, the window drawing in Leopard did not seem as snappy to me as it did in Tiger. Then, I pulled up iTunes, to check what version of iTunes comes with Leopard 10.5.0... I was stunned, not by the version of iTunes, but at the graphics lameness I witnessed.
    If you launch iTunes then choose iTunes | About iTunes you will see that when the credits scroll by, they scroll by all choppy and herky-jerky. Yes folks, that's right, Apple's fastest and most top of the line machine -- a Mac Pro with an X1900 XT -- is not sufficiently swift enough to properly display the credits for iTunes.
    Yes, I tried 10.5.1, same difference.
    Needless to say, I'm sticking with Tiger until Apple fixes the X1900 XT driver(s) in Leopard.
    Can anyone else with a Mac Pro and X1900 XT please go to iTunes | About iTunes and commiserate?

    Just for info; Leopard is not a full 64 bit operating system. In fact, there is only 1 Apple GUI app that is compiled for x86_64 and that is Xcode, and even that runs in 32 bit mode by default, unless you uncheck the "Run in 32 bit mode" box when you do a Get Info on it.
    There are many 64 bit frameworks and libraries, but the rest of the operating system applications are all 32 bit.
    You can see that for yourself by running:
    file /path to applications/* | grep x86_64
    In a terminal.
    Hyperion:~ will$ file /Applications/Utilities//Contents/MacOS/ | grep x86_64
    /Applications/Utilities/OSXPM.app/Contents/MacOS/OSXPM: Mach-O 64-bit executable x86_64
    Hyperion:~ will$
    I have 2 x86_64 apps, but only because I recompiled them to see if they worked.
    There are a handful of x86_64 apps in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin, but thats about it. Oh, Apache is 64 bit by the way.

  • Screen has lines through it after start up then grey sign states start up

    I press the power button,the screen comes on with the apple logo and the scroll starts the screen the has many lines the grey sign comes on and says to start computer again and then the same thing happens

    Hi mate,
    that whole story sounds really weirdo since after reading all this and knowing that youve tried almost everything doesnt makes it better.. :/
    Usually I would say: update your BIOS, but you already updated everything. This problem could be BIOS related since the initialization of the hardware after a standby is controlled by the chipset trough the BIOS.
    I guess it could also be something with the background light of the LCD screen (failed initialization after waking up), you can check this by reproducing the situation with the black screen and holding some light near the screen. If you can see some schemes on the screen (something like desktop, etc..) then it could be the background lighting. In such case try to reinstall the operating system and update all installed drivers to the newest version (yes I know, sounds like more pain).
    Otherwise, click [HERE|http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/generic_content.jsp?service=EU&ID=ASP_SUPPORT], find the nearest authorized service partner in your country, contact them and ask them for a hardwarecheckup. Maybe its really a hardware related issue..
    Greets and good luck

  • Grey screen

    I went to restart my 3 week old iMac after and update, and the screen scrolled down in grey with hold the power button to turn off, then turn it back on again, in 5 languages. I did this and all you would get is the white screen, the chime and the Apple logo, the the scroll down grey screen.I tried to rboot holing down the cmd key, and the shift key, it made no difference. I had put a lot of music and movies from my old pc on this, so it was suggested to partion the drive (which i managed to do) load the OS X onto the new partition to get the system running again, then archive the stuff on the original part of the drive to save losing it all. Things is as the machine is so new, is this an indication of a fault and I should just take it back underwarranty, and any ideas what the problem may be?

    It sounds like your system had a Kernel Panic. If you have reinstalled OS X and the machine is running OK again then you should be fine. KP's can be caused by many different things but if re-installing the OS took care of it then I wouldn't worry. You are covered by a 1 year warranty, if it happens again then by all means contact your local Apple Store and let them know however for now you don't have anything to really be concerned with.
    Regards,
    NOTE: Well your second post came out moments before mine, considering you are still having issues then yes contact AppleCare (the number is in your manual) and they will be able to help you out.

    Looks like at some point, Google indexed your site before you had a valid index page, because it has a list of all your files in the site root. I'm not sure how you can get that cleaned up, other than sending them a request.
    On a different subject, I like your home page layout, but the amount of animation is way over the top. You've got a rotating logo AND a scrolling ticket at the top banner, an animated banner image, animated product images, and scrolling list of products. All of this movement draws attention away from the text. In fact, many people would find this site difficult to read. I'd suggest removing all gratuitous animation.

  • Printing to an HP OfficeJet 7410 - Doesn't match camera OR Aperture Screen.

    Hey there..
    So I'm trying to print using the latest release of Aperture, but I'm running into a strange problem. I'll some up ...
    - I can print directly from the printer using my memory card and the pictures as the look in aperture and on my camera display are pretty close (color, hues etc). Not identical.. but that could be because of the photo paper I'm using (Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper - High Gloss).
    - I can print the picture from iPhoto and get basically the same result.
    IF I print from Aperture - the skintone in the pictures have an orange hue and the dark blues in the image look almost grey or black.
    Obviously - I need to do some kind of color calibration. However I've tried various settings in the Aperture print dialog and in the print settings and I have yet to be successful.
    Any suggestions? I'm using the standard tri-color and black ink carts and NOT the photo carts.
    TIA.

    Yep - I've got the same problem.  Yes - my printer is exactly five years' old.  Same as everybody else with this same problem.  I've tried everything to get it to work again.  I'd describe myself as pretty IT advanced, normally.
    Yes - I have the HP Invent logo and the scroll bar at the bottom of the LCD screen - all frozen in time.  I have a green flashing power button.  Pressing CANCEL and POWER BUTTON at the same time doesn't do anything.  Neither does turning it off/on at wall/unplugging cables/etc.
    HP know about this problem (I would assume - given the myriad blogs describing this issue on the Net) but today when I tried to get support by phone and by email said that I was out of warranty and they would not support it.  I also use a Mac - MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.8.  However, I've used my printer with many other types of Macs and PC's.  It's just suddenly stopped working - just like yours.
    The link below provides a solution - if you are willing to unscrew the back of your printer and fiddle around with it.  When I bought my printer it was close to A$900 in 2005 and I'm not prepared to muck around with it and I can't afford a new printer at this point.
    So, I plan to ask HP Australia for support tomorrow as this is really unacceptable and I know that somebody at HP can help me and the many many many others with the same strange issue as ours - and all exactly five years within the purchase period.
    Surely, this KNOWN issue should be supported by HP as a one-off fix under warranty or via a product recall.  This is obviously now a known issue - And curiously seems to have occurred for all users (that I can see from various blogs online) EXACTLY FIVE YEARS since the purchase of the product.
    See the link given in the post by Bob Headrick on 17/11/2008 if you're desperate.  I just don't feel comfortable fiddling around with my printer's internals.
