LOIPGR01 Inbound posting function Module
I need to post LOIPGR01 idoc into ECC. Is there any function module or BAPI to post this IDOC to application?
Thanks.
I config inbound process using INBOUND_IDOC_PROCESS FM to handle LOIPGR idoc. But when I test the inbound LOIPGR idoc and it threw CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING exception and saying
When calling the function module "INBOUND_IDOC_PROCESS", one of the parameters
needed according to the interface description was not specified.
This parameter was "IDOC_CONTROL".
But I can saw IDOC_CONTROL parameter contains values in debugger.

endfunction.Hi,
First goto WE20-> click on the logical system , now select the receiver LS which you are using as your partner. Now in the inbound parameters cehck what is the process code is attached.
once you get the process code then go to WE42 tcode.. there you give the process code and then double click you will get the function module IDOC_INPUT_FIDCMT.
Hopw you got my point.

How to trigger inbound custom function module?
Hello Experts,
Could someone help me with my dilemma?
I have created a custom process code which is linked to a custom function module for processing inbound IDocs. I have tested the function module successfully and I have set up the partner profile accordingly. The IDocs are coming in but get stuck at status "64". My function module never gets triggered even though in the partner profile it is set up to be triggered immediately. Any idea what I am missing?
Thanks,
MarlinHi marlin ,
just go for these checks and let us know the status ..
1.Check here .
Bd51 assignment of Inbound function module. Present or not
Check here .
2.Bd67 assignment of process code to inbound function module /present or not.
3.
Check here.
In the object for the message type u need to give the BUS object as the application object.
like bus2032
4.
Now place a break-point in ur function module and run it in debugging mode ..
Now check whether this one is getting into ur function module , next check the status record of the document number .
regards,
vijay.
take an idoc , populate it from we19 and then there call the function module in debugging mode in back ground ..
we'll see if this is actually picking the Fm or not.

IDOC inbound processing ( Function module Rquired )
Hi,
I am working on IDOC inbound, I am looking for a standard FM for Production order confirmation which i need to assign in WE57 along with the standard Message type(Production order confirmation).
Could you please let me know where i can get the standard inbound function modules for the standard idoc types,
for eg: IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS for sales order.
Thanks.
KrishnakumarHi,
Go to WE42 for inbound processing codes and WE41 for outbound.
OR
We have WE19 which is a test tool for IDOC processing.
Provide the IDOC number then press F8, then in the next screen , you will have inbound function module.
Click that button. Then enter the text in search criteria.
Then you can get related function module.
Reward points if helpful.

Code Inspector / Extended Check - Error in Inbound Custom Function Module
I have created a new cutom FM for Inbound IDOC Application Posting.
In the TABLE Parameter of FM the following Tables difined.
IDOC_CONTRL LIKE EDIDC
IDOC_DATA LIKE EDIDD
IDOC_STATUS LIKE BDIDOCSTAT
RETURN_VARIABLES LIKE BDWFRETVAR
SERIALIZATION_INFO LIKE BDI_SER
while checking with Code Inspector Tool I got an Error for BDI_SER.( Last Table Parameter of the FM)
Syntax check warning
"BDI_SER" can be enhanced. After a structure enhancement, the semantics of the
parameter transfer may change.
Internal Message Code: MESSAGE G_B
(The message can be hidden with "#EC ENHOK)
Type "BDI_SER" or the type of one of its subcomponents can be enhanced. The semantics of the parameter transfer may change after a structure enhancement.
For the execution of a Remote Function Call (RFC), the actual parameter and formal parameter do not have to be of the same type. In the case of structure types, the actual parameter and formal parameter can contain additional components at the end. These additional components are set to their initial values.
Check whether the enhancement category of the relevant type correct is set or whether the category "cannot be enhanced" should be used.
How to fix this error? other wise how to supress the Message by adding "#EC ENHOK
where I have to add the Comment "#EC ENHOK.
please help to give details .
Thanks in advance.
SharIn the source code you will have this in comment right, use the "#EC ENHOK.

How to send Internal table records to Idoc Inbound posting FM to create Ido
Hello Experts,
I have all the data necessary to create shipments in one internal table inside my ABAP program.
I can use BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE to create shipments. But associated with this BAPi there is one ALE message type SHIPMENT_CREATEFROMDATA. Now my requirement is to use this message type to cretae my shipments via idocs for one scenario for some of the records in the internal table.
For this message type, I got the inbound function module IDOC_INPUT_SHIPMENT_CREATEFROM from TBDBE table.
Can anybody please let me know how to send the data from the internal table to this inbound function module?
Becasue it has mandatory parameters INPUT_METHOD, MASS_PROCESSING. What values should be passed to these parameters if the data has to be sent to this function module?
Regards.Hi Ravikanth,
Thankyou very much for your quick reply.
So If I split my internal table data and populate IDOC_DATA and IDOC_CONTROL and pass to the inbound function module directly in my ABAP program, will that be going to create idocs and post shipments?
I mean is it enough to call the Inbound posting function module directly in my ABAP program or any other FMs to be called to take care of ALE settings and shipment creation?
Please confirm.

Can an inbound function module generate IDOC?
Hello Everyone,
Does not Sound a proper question , but yes thats the requirement,
I have a requirement that the inbound processing function module on encountering certain document in IDOC has to do some processing and Generate and IDOC!
I have not started coding yet, becasue before that wanted to make sure, thats it is possible.
Do you think , we can use MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE within inbound function module? IF the answer is 'NO' Please let me know the reasons.
All suggestions would be rewarded.
RegardsHi Trivenn,
Yes, we can use the FM "MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE" in the inbound processing function module.
This has been implemented in our project without issues. -

Short dump for update function module
Hi Folks,
If I try to raise exception in Update Task function module which is in turn called in Custom BAPI function module. When I test the BAPI stand-alone using explicit COMMIT WORK (For testing)I can see the error in SM13 and it processes further in BAPI. Now when I am using this BAPI for ALE Inbound processing function module to SAP, when I test using testing tool WE19 it crashes when it passes the update FM inside BAPI, and encounteres BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT, the update Function module is executed as encountered and gives me dump at the raised exception and does not show error in SM13. Please suggest how I could overcome this dump.
Regards,
TimHi there,
Yes. I know that I can details from ST22 Analysis. And I did go through that.
Here's the Section that explains:
How to correct the error
Try to find out why the number of decimal places of the field should be
2.
There are various possible options:
1. The number of decimal places of the imported field has changed in the
Data Dictionary. Make sure that the number of decimal places of the
imported field matches the number of decimal places of the field in
the Data Dictionary.
If the data cannot be restored from another source, the data of the
'old' structure must be read by the 'old' structure, converted und
again eported with the new structure, so that future IMPORTs will
always function with the new structure.
2. A new program version is active, which no longer fits the dataset.
Try to solve the error generating the program
"ZFI_FM_GET_STD_COSTS==========FT" again. This
works as follows: Select transaction SE38 in the SAP system. Enter
the program name "Z_GET_COSTS==========FT". Then activate the
function 'Generate'.
1. I made sure that the decimal places matches.
2. I did re-generate the program.
But still got the same dump. Interestingly, the program where I am using this FM is working absolutely fine.
Thanks. -
Error handling for inbound function module
Dear all,
I have written my custom function module for matmas idoc extention. In the begining of function module i have used IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 and then have coded my BDC.For handling errors in caese BDC fails i am filling table idoc_status. wih status 51.
But this gives eror as-
Status records with status 51 after status 53
Message no. B1357
Diagnosis
The application function module controlling the ALE inbound processing has passed several status records to ALE. The status of the last of these was '51'. Before this, a status of '53' was passed.
Procedure
If you have written the application function module yourself, you need to change the program.
Can anybody guide me how to get the exact application errors in Application log.
Thank you.Hi,
You are using BDC after the FM 'IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01'. Right??.... The problem is, The function Module IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 itself posts the material and set the status '53' i.e. document posted. You can not have any error status '51' after that.
I don't understand the need of BDC in spite of the FM 'IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01'. But if whatever the reason, you still want to use the BDC and set the status to 51, After the FM 'IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01' call, Delete status table where status = '53'. and then proceed for the BDC...
