Look up values

I would appreciate any help on the following.
I have three tables - A, B, and C. A and C have a many-to-many relationship and B is the link table between the two.
I am creating a form to allow user to query and enter/update data for table C. I would also like to display the Id and Name column in table A for each Id in C.
I have created entity objects for A, B, and C. I have also created view objects for A, B, and C as well as View Links for A-B, and B-C.
I would like to know how to proceed so that I could display the colums in A for each ID in C. Is there a way to obtain the value of the current ID in C pass this value to a query on table A?

Hi all of the above work, our question is how to control the RTF (Rich Text Field) look up values to the InfoPath 2010 form in the HTML email?
How to FORMAT the RTF look up value? in the HTML email
EXAMPLE
we have a InfoPath 2010 form published in the SharePoint 2010 custom list library there are 5 RTF fields (Notes1, Notes2, Notes3, Notes4, Notes5) there are other plain text fields, date fields, and other field types in the form
We use a HTML table to make the email look like the InfoPath form, so when the users fill out the form and they get the email notification everything looks the same.
Our problem is the EXTRA LINE SPACE in the RTF look up values
We want to remove any leading spaces, and line spaces between HTML table cells
Our Workflow has the HTML in a Workflow variable, as you know it does not support remote CSS it has to be in-line style for any formatting we want all cells to have
valign="top" the email should align at the top of the cell, all field types do except the RTF look up values they make the email look bad and they contain a lot of white space.
Please test this in your enviroment

there are some notes that perhaps you may check:
Use the same font for all the controls to ensure consistent spacing between rows.
Choose Size from the Format menu, and then choose To Fit from the menu that appears. This adjusts the size of each control, depending on the font set for the data that appears
in the control.
NOTE: The Print Preview and Output To commands use different algorithms for calculating text width; therefore, the text may occupy more or less
space in the RTF file.
Reduce the amount of blank space above and below the report controls. Any vertical
space between the controls is converted to whole lines
in the RTF file. For example, a
space of .02 inches can increase to .1667 inches in the
RTF file.
Make sure controls on the same output row are not too close to each other or overlapping. This can cause the Output To command to omit the controls or to align the columns incorrectly
in the RTF file.
Use the Align command from the Format menu to ensure that a row of controls is aligned properly on the report. If a row of controls is not aligned properly, the Output To command may place the controls
in different rows, causing extra blank
spacein the RTF file.

I need to create RFC enable a Z FM (function module) for f4 help to display the look up values for terms of payment.
i am not able to find out table from where the text description can be fetched. i know t052,t052u,tvzbt
table but no table hold the complete description for all payment terms in split form . Below i give one example also.
in table tvzbt i get , for payment terms 0002, i get description like 14 days 2%, 30 net.
but i need to display that description
Within 14 days 2 % cash discount
Within 30 days Due net
............ in that format.

How Can I Look Up Value of Right Most Cell?

I am tracking the value of my RRSPs in a table where each month I record that month's statement value. At the end of the row, I want to display the latest value. Each account will be displayed on it's own row, with additional rows for each year.

In this example, the YTD cel always gives the right most cell that has a value greater than zero.
I know I can construct a cascading IF statement to check for each cell to have a value >0, but I was hoping there would be a function that I could simply put a range of cells.
Is there a simple way to check the value of the right most cell?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Prior to my introduction to Numbers and its Header Columns, I would have laid out my table just as you did. Now I have become a fan of putting my summary data, such as your YTD figure, in a Header Column. This will greatly simplify many types of calculations on the other data in the row. Along the way I've found that I like the look of having, in your case, "Account" and "YTD" together on the left to eliminate scrolling sideways when reviewing the table.
Here's my example:
Columns A and B are Header Columns and the expression in B2 is: =OFFSET(B2,0,COUNT(2:2))
Fill Down in B to extend the formula to later years.

Looking up values from Map/HashMap when Objects are used as keys

I'm trying to understand why Map/HashMap don't test for equals() when looking up a key ( which is an Object that overrides equals() and hashCode()) in the Map.
I've written this code, based on some code from the SCJP book, but it is not exactly the same, this code talks about a different issue not addressed in the book.
I've added my questions inside the comments below, I think that is the best way I can ask it.

It is correct that b is referring to the same object that the map's key is pointing to, but why does the following
print null , instead of "somevalue"?

System.out.println(hashMap.get(b));Because the hashCode used when you stored b was 4, and now it's 7. You should read the Wikipedia article on Hashtable, but a simplistic explanation is that a HashMap has a bunch of "buckets," say 10, each indexed with a number 0-9. To decide which bucket to put a new key-value pair in, you take the hashcode (say 2112) and take the remainder of hashcode/number of buckets (in this case, 2112%10=2). So when you store the key-value, it gets "put" in this bucket.
When you change the hashcode of b by changing its name attribute, it doesn't change the fact that the pair is in that bucket. But, it now looks in the wrong bucket and so can't find the pair.
A hashtable gets its good efficiency by not having to look through all values to find the pair. It can jump directly to the correct bucket, which takes constant time instead of being dependent on the number of items in the collection.

Filter looking for values based on other values

Hi, is it possible to create a filter that returns items from the cache based on some criteria of other items in the cache.
E.g. suppose I have a cache containing cars. I would like to create a filter that filters out all blue cars, but only if the cache also contains a red car.

Hi Jan,
it is doable in a single pass in an aggregation, but it will not be too efficient for cases where no red cars exist.
The problem is that in case of a partitioned cache, it is possible that there is a single red car in the cache on a separate node from the blue cars. In this case the blue cars should be returned. However it is also possible that there is no red car in the cache.
In this example the nodes with the blue cars from the previous example won't be able to distinguish the two cases from one another based on only their own data. Therefore they have to return the blue cars, and let the client throw away all data based on whether the existence of a red car was indicated.
If red cars are an unlikely event, it is better to first query (or aggregate for minimum traffic) for the existence of the red car, and only if it exists, then query for blue cars.
If red cars are a probable event and having as few roundtrips to the cache as possible is more important then efficiency, then it is probably better to just (in parallel) aggregate the blue cars and indicate whether a red car exists on that node or not.

SSRS Expression to compare two values and get data from another dataset

I have a requirement where in i need to compare a value of a dataset (not the one which table is poiting to)
with the value of a text box, and return the count if it matches else 0, the expression is as below. Here
industryName and recCount are from the dataset ds_MedimOrLowImpactEntities. whats wrong in this expression

After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. Just the error message said, “Aggregate function can be used only on report items contained in page headers and footers”. So the sum function that contains report items should be stayed
at page headers or footers. Besides, you said the hpapra_name textbox contain a field from another dataset, not the ds_MedimOrLowImpactEntities dataset. While in Reporting Services, Report item expressions can only refer to other report items within the same
grouping scope or a containing grouping scope. So consider the two issues, we should use some other expression to instead the “reportItems!hpapra_name.Value” expression.

Import-csv how to make powershell ignore a line in a csv file if a column contains a certain value

Basically I got a very basic script that uses a csv file to input values needed to remove people from a distro list. That part is working fine. I'd like to add to it's functionality so it can look at values in a certain column, and if any of those certain
values are present, I want powershell to skip that line and not process it. For instance I have a column in the csv called Group. If I have a listing under Group that says ABC I want the script to skip that line and not try to process it. What could I insert
into the script to acheive this?

Which table can we see consumption and forecast values in forecast based planning

Dear SAP Gurus,
I am working on implementing forecast based planning for Spare parts for my client. They have one Main Plant which do purchase of Spare Parts and through Stock transfers moved to 60+ Plants from where Spares are being sold.
Now I am carrying out SAP trial runs for a set of 160+ materials with various models and want to compare with their existing methodology of requirement calculation.
I want to compile Consumption and Forecast data month wise for these trial materials (160+ materials in 60 Plants) . One way I thought is to go individual Material Master and looks for values in Forecast view. However it is tedious and time consuming.
The table name shows RMCP2 and RM03M for forecast and Cons values, but I could not find the table.
Hence I want to know which table if I can view I can get the consumption and forecast data calculated for quick copying and compilation.

Like I could able to get the consumption values for materials using table MVER and fields GSV01,GSV02 etc.,
What field I need refer in table PROP for getting forecast values.
As such I could not see any column where in data are similar to Forecast view.

Problem in populating lookup values based on the lookup query from database

I have problem of population look-up values based on look-up query
I am giving the details what i am trying
I need to populate the values from the UD_LDAP_USR table into the field of UD_USRGRPC_NisNetTriple of type lookup
i planned to set the properties of lookup as like this
look up query as select UD_LDAP_USR_COMMON_NAME as NisNetTriple from UD_LDAP_USR
ColumnNames as UD_LDAP_USR_COMMON_NAME
Column captions as UD_LDAP_USR_COMMON_NAME
Column width as 30
Lookup Column Name as UD_LDAP_USR_COMMON_NAME
But when i try to add ColumnName as wht i mentioned above i m getting invalid property exception,update failed
I am not sure about that are we able to use other Connector table prefix with UD into the another processFrom

Value Mapping using XSLT mapping

We have change requirement of storing some xsl Key-Value in SAP PI and on run time existing XSLT mapping need to look that values and in target structure map the value as per source key value.
For this requirement i am going with value mapping that will call from XSLT mapping and created a test scenario before actual changes in XSLT mapping
I have created table in ID.
But unfortunately i am getting below error :

How to identify there is no translation value in Value Mapping

Hi ,
I am using value mapping to translate one of the fields of data. Whenever the input has a translation value, the output is the translated value. But when there is no translation value for the given input in the runtime cache, the output is the input itself. But my requirement is to either error out or send a blank value as output when it doesnt find a corresponding translation value for the given input.
Example:(A,1)(B,2)(C,3) are the values present in the value mapping runtime cache. When the message looks for value mapping for A , as expected it gives an output of 1. Similarly for B and C.
But if the input is "Z", the output is "Z" since there is no lookpu value fo r"Z",which is an anamoly.
Please let me know if you had a prioir experience on this issue and a solution to this.

U can call value mapping functionality in UDF. Write a UDF with VM parameters.... Validate in the Source Value( U can also raise exception in the UDF).

How to make the display of custom column names in UWL(not bother abt values

Hi all
i want to make the display of custom column names in UWL ( for example GP)
i dont want or not looking about values for those custom columns . i know that thru custom connector we can achieve to retrieve the values for those custom columns. but currently i am looking only just to display the custom column names( for example GP custom column names, just i want to display the name of the columns ) in UWL .
