Looking for SFX template: 35mm viewfinder

Does anyone know if there are some cool 35mm viewfinder type templates already built and available for FCP?
I'm trying to build one now in Photoshop...it is VERY slow going because I'm such a NEWB to Photoshop....
I'd like to use the effect for video during photo shoots...kinda like Sports Ill. does....

does Pages v4 (09) work on a G4 chip? I think I've updated this old Mac iBook as far as it will go. In other words will I need to buy a newer laptop to get the Pages 09 to work and ouput to an eBook? Thanks. Richard

Customer is looking for sample template with the check on the bottom of the page, anyone know of one? Their Bank doesn't like the check on the top of the page because when you rip the check from the stub is sometimes rips the microline. -Thanks

I'm new to DreamWeaver, but more significant is that this is my first attempt of building a website from scratch. In the past I have used what I would discribe as "Cookie Cutter" applications where about the most exciting thing you can do is fill in the blanks and add a few images. I want to go to the next level where I can be more creative. I looked and have played around with three programs for the Mac and felt DreamWeaver was the best choice.
My first attempt is going to be creating a website for a local American Legion Post. I have a good idea of how I want to approach it from a design standpoint and I'm hoping that I can locate a template that is close to what the picture I have in my head. The challenge today is going to be describing the design I would like to use, so I guess the best thing to do is to give it a try and hope it makes since to all of you.
First I need to explain how the American Legion is laid out. Besides The American Legion Post (TAL) there are sub organizations within the post such as The American Legion Auxiliary (AUX), Sons of American Legion (SAL) and The American Legion Riders (ALR). Each of these groups are tightly intertwined with TAL post, but have specific programs they focus on. My thought is to have a home page that offers visitors a simple format to accessing all of the information.
I'm thinking that across the top of the page will be four tabs which when clicked will create a drop down menu showing all of the avaliable pages for each of these groups. obviously each of these pages would focus on events, projects, etc.. of that group.   Down along the left side of the home page would be a series of tabs or buttons that open general pages that contain information on the Post. Here's an over simplified example:
Click on the American Legion Riders and a drop down menu appears showing the following pages:

<Rules & Regulations>
The remainder of the home page would be used to display the latest news, flyers, pictures, etc...
It would be nice if the template had a patriotic theme; however, a simple color scheme would also work. I hope I have described what I'm looking for in a manner that is easily understood. As I mentioned above this is my first attempt at creating a website with a program such as DreamWeaver. I'm not familiar with all of the technical termology so please be patient with me as I learn.
I am a Veteran with a service connected disablity and the American Legion has always been there for me, so you will find I am very passionate about what the American Legion stands for and I want this web page to evolve into an easy to navigate site that tells the story of American Legion Post 232 and it's members -past, present and future.
I am open to other ideas and templates so please feel free to share. Finally, let me thank everyone in advance for you patience, help and suggestons. I'm sure I will be on this forum on a very regular basis ask for advice, help and suggestons. Looking for web template with 3 link-levels

I'm looking to make a picture gallery with the standard Thumnails linked to screen-size shot. I'd like th screen-size shots to be linked to the full-size image to users can download a full-resolution version of the shot.
Am I making things too complicated? Is there an easy way to enable folks to download the full-resolution version other than a big FTP directoty?

Looking for Pixma plus 35mm slide scanning!

Hello.
I used to have a Canon Pixma printer with a 35mm scanning facility built in to the lid. Broke down some time ago, unfortunately.
And now Canon don't do Pixma printers with 35mm scanning.
Been scouring the internet for an MG8250 or equivalent, with no luck. I don't WANT to change from Pixma. I think it's possibly the best colour print system you can buy, but I do need that 35mm slide scanning facility, so any suggestions as to an alternative product, i.e. a good quality colour printer (plus copier plus flatbed scanner plus 35mm slide scanner), offering similar print quality as the Pixma?
I suppose one alternative is to buy a stand-alone 35mm neg scanner, but I also have a number of ancient (1890s) large b&w negatives so a 35mm-only carrier wouldn't do - I need something where I can use bits of tape etc. to hold odd-sized films.

Aside from looking at the pretty transitions, did you read
the rest of the
page? See the part where it says "Step 1 - copy and
paste....."
Then do Step 2. It just can't get any easier than that.
Read the bit underneath step 2 and it tells you how the
script can be used
multiple times on a page - Again - step 1: you give it a new
name in the
javascript file, and add the names and paths of the images
for the
consecutive slides you wish to display. Then, again, Step 2 -
you call the
slideshow somewhere on your page.
Without sounding condescending, sit back, read the
instructions again, and
have a go at implementing them into your page.
Upload your efforts, post a link to the page, and we'll be
able to help you
further if you need it.
You can describe what you have, how you want it to work, but
until we see a
page live, its a bit hard to help further.
Last resort, spring for a paid solution to do it all for you
(which I highly
recommend) -

Looking for a Templates Package or Plug In for Zooming and Panning

Hi Gang - I have FCP 5.1
I know there's a great easy to use Templates Package for moving images all around. But how bout something that would give you the same variety of Pans and Zooms for stills that iPhoto or iMovie have? Something that could be applied to a large number of photos?
I'd like to create a 'Pro Type' Slide Show with hundreds of High Res Photos that I have from a film shoot. This would be an extra chapter in a documentary.
Other than key framing each and every darn photo manually, I don't know how to apply random pans to zooms to a hundred or more photos ...

Hi Mike,
you don't have to keyframe all photo one by one manually,
create 2 , 3 or 4 motion paths then select say clip with panning n.1 copy the clip (apple+c), now select all the clips that you wish to have with the same motion effect, right click over the selection and in the popdown menu choose PasteAttributes>Basic Motion.
Your panning effect now appears on all the clips you selected. If you want to apply it to random clips in the timeline just select the ones you want keeping the apple key pressed.

You are more likely to get this to work in Numbers because it can connect between tables and has things like check boxes for multiple choice.
If you are intending to use this information seriously I recommend you use a relational database to get a much better handle on your work and also to ultimately tie everything together, project details, hours, billing etc.

Has someone a FORMS template (.fmb) similar to the block wizzard? It has to have two list where elements can be choosed from one list into the other. Looking for Numbers template for Estate Administrator's recordkeeping?

I am the administrator of a relative's estate and need to do formal recordkeeping of the financial aspects of the probated estate.
I use Apple Numbers for creating budgets and other kinds of recordkeeping, but cannot find a template that I feel confident is appropriate for this task.
Does anyone know if there is an existing template that would work for this as is or that would be adaptable for the task? I also need to include reports on a small number of stock holdings until the probate process is complete and the estate assets are distributed between the beneficiaries.

I found the same form you shared a link to, and related ones, from NH. Their stuff is helpful. I've also already visited my state's and county's related websites, which also share info and forms but they don't share any forms for or adequate details about reporting.
The NH info can be a guide. My real interest is templates to make recording everything and creating reports efficient and easier to keep up with, especially ones that will self-calculate.
In the template arena, it seems estate recordkeeping isn't on the radar. I couldn't find any Microsoft templates either. It's too bad, because lots of people have to take on this task and it's not a small one by any stretch.

Unfortunately i cannot find this example.
Can anybody tell me, where i can find this example or a similar one explaining the weighing of material components?

You are correct. The application template for Campaign Weighing was developed on SAP MII 11.5 in 2006 and was uploaded in SCN->Manufacturing Downloads that time. It has been mentioned in the [SAP Help documentation|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/45/cbd605c99b5590e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm] as well as in the [ERP EhP2 Documentation|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c03226ef-e108-2b10-01bc-dc41e9ba8980]. But strangely it's not available in the SCN download section anymore and sadly no one in SAP has any clue on it. I'm also looking for this template for a client who is interested in it.
