Lookup query in OIM 11g R2

Hi,
I am written a lookup query in child form to filter the lookup in designconsole . but the lookup query is not getting executed, The old lookup name is shown when i am opeing the form in web ui (systemadmin) formdesigner.
Any suggestion why the lookup query is not working?

I have an implementation of OIM 11g R2, with an Active Directory 11.1.1.5.0 connecting to an instance of Active Directory on Windows Server 2008. I am trying to run the "Active Directory Organization Lookup Reconciliation" scheduled task, but the job fails with this error:

The Connector Server is installed on the AD instance, and the key has been set, and used appropriately in the Active Directory Connector Server IT Resource in OIM.

LookUp Query in OIM

Hi All
I have to use the lookup query property for a lookup field type in my form.
this is my query
select lkv_decoded from lkv where lkv.lku_key=(select lku.lku_key from lku where lku_type_string_key='LookUp.Users.Brand') and lkv_encoded='ab'
i have to display vale of lkv_encoded in my field.
for that i have put values of 'lookup column name' and 'column names' properties in the property dialog box as lkv_encoded.
now although it is returning proper value in preview form.
but when i try to do this through console it is showing me "Contact System Administrator" error.
please guide me regarding this.

I have already used lkv_decoded it was a typo mistake in previous post.
I even tried using it as "select lkv_decoded as usr_login from lkv where lkv.lku_key=(select lku.lku_key from lku where lku_type_string_key='LookUp.Users.Brand') and lkv_encoded='ab' " and for values of 'lookup column name' and 'column names' properties in the property dialog box as usr_login.
Is there any document regarding this that I can refer.
It is still not working for me.

Problem in creating a Lookup query in OIM.

i have written LookupQuery.
My query is :select lkv_encoded,lkv_decoded from lkv lkv,lku lku where lkv.lku_key=lku.lku_key and lku_type_string_key='Lookup.BB.InstitutionRoles' and lkv_encoded not in '$Form data.UD_BLKBRD_PORTALROLE$'
i am getting the values getting the values according to query.
but the problem is i am not getting the Radio Buttons in Lookup.
for this do i need to add any entries in xlWebAdmin.properties file?
can anybody help me.

How to give query in lookup type udf in OIM 11g

Hi,
In OIM 9.x, we were able to provide query in lookup type field in users UDF to fetch data from DB and display it in lookup table.
Where as in OIM 11g, I cant find that option. We need to provide user id in lookuptype field based on some query. Please let me know where we can do the same in OIM 11g.

In OIM 9.x, we had below query in one of the lookup type attribute:
select usr.usr_udf_empid,usr.usr_first_name,usr.usr_last_name from usr where usr.usr_emp_type='Full-Time' and usr.usr_status='Active' and usr.USR_UDF_EMPID is not null
The lookup used to show firstname, lastname & employee id of active employees in the lookup.
Where we can achieve the same in OIM 11g?

Error in using Lookup Query - OIM 11g

Hi Guys,
I am trying to use following lookup query:
select usr_key, usr_login from USR where usr_status = 'Active' and have following mapping defined in the process form:
Column Width = 200
Lookup Column Name = usr_login
Column Names = usr_key, usr_login
Column Captions = USER_KEY, USER_LOGIN
The values are getting populated properly while searching for the lookup. But when I click on 'SELECT' button. It throws error. saying 'A system error occurred'
I see following error in the log:

How to polulate data from lookup using request dataset in OIM 11g

Hi,
Using Request dataset in OIM 11g, I need to display one dropdown with the roles those need to come from Lookup.
For Ex; I have 2 resources,i.e Resource A and Resource B. Resource A has 5 roles and Resource B has 3 Roles.
While creating a request, If I select Resource A, then I should be able to get 5 Roles and if I select Resource B then I should be able to see corresponding 3 roles.
Pls. note I have only one Look up definition , where I have roles for both Resource A and B.
I have done simillar thing in OIM 10g , however I am unable to do it using OIM 11g Request dataset.
Pls suggest.

Lookup codekey value in Request dataset in OIM 11g

Below is my Attribute reference in Request dataset in OIM 11g.
Could you please suggest what could be the possible Lookup code key values in lookup 'Lookup.AccountingControl.Roles'
I tried giving CodeKey values as "ACCOUNTING CONTROL~" then Decode value as "Administrator" , However it does not give any value.
So I think what I am giving as Codekey value is wrong based on below lookup query.
What could be the correct value for CodeKey ? Thanks!!

You asked me to use Prepopulate adapter to get the Resource Object name.

Our requirement, is we need to have a user defined field similar to how its there in "Organisation".
For example we need to create an user defined field like "Service Holding" which holds different services say like Service 1, Service 2, Service 3 etc.
Under each service there are multiple roles....
Eg:
Service 1 - Role 1, Role 2, Role 3
Service 2 - Role 4, Role 5
Service 3 - Role 6, Role 7, Role 8
Is there a way to store multi-valued attribute in OIM UDF? If so, pls. guide us
If its not possible we would need to create a Lookup field (something similar to Organization or Manager). User clicks on the button (lens button), which should invoke an API wherein he can select specific Roles and save in User. Eg. like Service 1 - Role 1#Service 2 # Role 5 and store in the backend database.
Is this possible. Pls. guide.

Lookup Field with a Lookup Query on Process Form in OIM 11gR2

Does anyone know how to render a field on a process form so that when modifying the field for the resource a "Search and Select" window appears and allows the user to search for the value based on the lookup query defined for the field in Design Console? The lookup field has been defined as a lookup query through Design Console and tested by previewing the form in DC. When creating the Form through OIM System Administration the field is created as a Text Field, not a Lookup. Creating a new Field through OIM System Administration only allows you to create the field using a lookup code not using a lookup query. I've tried to remove / add the field in the UI (create sandbox, customize, etc.) and add it back as a Input LOV but it doesn't get added and the error in the logs say java.lang.RuntimeException: Input LOV is not supported for this attribute, please make this attribute searchable in order to drop this as an input LOV. The field is defined as searchable in the Form Designer in OIM System Administration. In fact I can't even add it back as an ADF Input Text Field w/ Label, I suspect I'll have to "Regenerate" the form to even get it back on the form. Any help is appreciated. Next step is to try to export the sandbox, massage and import.

Finally got an answer out of Oracle after trying to figure this out as well. Apparently Lookup Queries are not supported at all by the R2 Web UI. They indicate that according to product management this will not be fixed.

Error reconciling AD Lookups OIM 11g IBM JDK 6 64 bit

I'm setting up SSL from OIM 11g to AD 2008, my environment is OIM 11g+ Weblogic 10.3.3 generic on IBM AIX 6.1 + IBM JDK 6 64 bit. I imported the certificate as described in AD connector documentation with "keytool". I'm getting the following ERROR when I try to run the scheduled jobs in order to perform lookup reconciliation (groups and organizations)

I have reviewed "java.security" in the IBM JRE and there is nothing about SUN JSSE provider. I understand I need to setup Sun JSSE in the IBM JDK but I'm not able to find information about that. I dont know if it's possible to use Sun JSSE provider in IBM or if I need to change the security provider to IBM's implementation. How to do that? I think somewhere in the weblogic configuration.
Please helps me, how can I set up the correct configuration.

do you think is possible to define a lookup query to display the DECODE value and store the CODE vale in the DB(the same behaviour having Lookup code)?. I tried several configurations but no way, seems that OIM show and store the value present in the "Lookup Column Name" attribute.

Thankyou it helped us a lot.
But I started working with OIM apis but I am not aware of the back end flow.
lets say when a user is being created, a request being raised untill approved, or a resource is provisioned ...I want to know what keys will generated and where they gets stored.
It would be very helpful for me if u explain and explain some more scenrios.
