  • There are a sample for loop data out using xpath-querie?

    hello,
    i have a web service that contains multiple rows. i transfered these data in a variable tInput. Now i want to transfer these data in a output variable.
    Is There a sample or tutorial, that shows how to loop data out of a variable (array) in a
    second variable using xpath-querie?
    regards,
    rala

    Hi,
    thanks for the Link, but it doesn't work at all.
    I have a variable tOutput with follow content:
    tOutput>
    <part name="parameters" >
    <SchedulForwardResponse>
    <SchedulForwardResult>
    <ArrayType>
    <plnnr>50001203</plnnr>
    <vornr>1</vornr>
    <starttime>20.08.2006 09:00:00</starttime>
    </ArrayType>
    <ArrayType>
    <plnnr>50001203</plnnr>
    <vornr>2</vornr>
    <starttime>20.08.2006 09:10:00</starttime>
    </ArrayType>
    <ArrayType>
    <plnnr>50001203</plnnr>
    <vornr>3</vornr>
    <starttime>20.08.2006 09:35:00</starttime>
    </ArrayType>
    </SchedulForwardResult>
    </SchedulForwardResponse>
    </part>
    </tOutput>
    I want to copy these content in the output Variable of my BPEL Prozess. But just the first <ArrayType> is copy to output:
    <ArrayTpe>
    <plnnr>50001203</plnnr>
    <vornr>1</vornr>
    <starttime>20.08.2006 09:00:00</starttime>
    </ArrayType>
    The other two <ArrayType> fail.
    I create 3 variables:
    <variable name="bufferOutput" messageType="ns0:SchedulForwardSoapOut"/> (MessageType of the invokeing WS)
              <variable name="count" type="xsd:integer"/>
              <variable name="n" type="xsd:integer"/>
    Count and n are counter for the while loop. Count is initial 1. For n i have follow expression:
    <assign name="prepareLoop">
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:countNodes('bufferOutput','parameters','/ns0:SchedulForwardResponse/ns0:SchedulForwardResult/ns0:ArraySchedulType[1]')"></from>
    <to variable="n"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    In the BPEL Console i saw, that the value of n is1 and not 3 as i thought. When i set ora.countNodes to SchedulForwardResult n is null in the console.
    Does anybody try befor to copy such a content of a variable into another variable or has a idea how i can implement these?

  • How to Get Current Date from MS Access in a Select Statement

    From a java method, I want to use JDBC to get the current date from MS Access. In Oracle I would do "select sysdate from dual", but I can't figure out how to do it in MS Access. Here are some of my attempts. I have a table in my Access db called PARM.
    //        String sql = "SELECT '0', NOW() FROM PARM";
    //rs.next() is false
    //        String sql = "SELECT NOW() AS CURR_DT FROM PARM";
    //rs.next() is false
    //        String sql = "SELECT DATE() AS CURR_DT FROM PARM";
    //rs.next() is false
    //        String sql = "SELECT NOW()";
    //StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
    //        String sql = "select { fn now() } from parm";
            String sql = "SELECT Date()";
    //java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
            ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(sql);
            if (rs.next()) {
                return rs.getString(1);
            } else {
                   return null;
              }

    Why are you getting it as a String? You should be getting it as a timestamp.
    Although getString works for me too. There is something else wrong that you haven't shown.
    Here is some shoddy, but simple, test code that demonstrates it working.
    import java.sql.*;
    public class Test{
      public static void main(String args[])throws Exception{
        Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
        Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:stats");
        Statement s = c.createStatement();
        ResultSet rs = s.executeQuery("SELECT NOW()");
        while(rs.next()){
          System.out.println(rs.getTimestamp(1));
        rs.close();
        s.close();
        c.close();
    }

  • Insert Time and Date into Microsoft Access from Lookout

    I have an SQLExec running to export data to Microsoft Access - I would like to get A) A time stamp also to insert and B) A time stamp with out / and : -- I have found it impossible (from my limited knowledge) to do any of these things.
    Dose anyone have a very basic SQL Statement that might guide me on my way?
    Thanks!

    Oracle stores date and time in a DATE column; it all depends on how you have your insert statement. The last insert I specified the date and time
    ex.
    insert into test_date values(1,sysdate);
    insert into test_date values(2,sysdate-10.9);
    insert into test_date values(3,sysdate-8.098 );
    insert into test_date values(4,sysdate-5.11 );
    insert into test_date values(5, trunc(sysdate));
    INSERT into test_date values(6, to_date('01-JAN-2004 19:30', 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI') );
    select * from test_date ;
    ID DDATE
      1 25-FEB-04
      3 17-FEB-04
      4 20-FEB-04
      5 25-FEB-04
      2 14-FEB-04
      6 01-JAN-04I don't see the time because the NLS_DATE_FORMAT is set to DD-MON-YY, but if I
    Select id, to_char( ddate , 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS AM') from test_date;
    ID TO_CHAR(DDATE,'DD-MO
    1 25-FEB-2004 06:57:02
    3 17-FEB-2004 04:37:05
    4 20-FEB-2004 04:20:02
    5 25-FEB-2004 00:00:00
    2 14-FEB-2004 09:24:50

  • Using menu ring to select data out of database with SQL

    I have a database setup with two tables and six columns of data. One of the columns contains an array of data. I would like to be able to read the data out with two ring controls. One ring to select the table and the other to select certain rows of data based on the value in one row. I want the data charts to update automatically inside a loop when the ring values are changed. I started by modifying the playback(fetching) example. The problem is when I change the menu item, I am not closing the first connection before opening a new one. Should I be using the running stored procedures with parameters method to accomplish this task?? I suppose all of the data could be read and then sorted out of the result.

    unclebump,
    There are two possible solutions. If you are using LabVIEW 6.0.x, then you will need to put a while loop around all of your program and poll to see if the values of the ring controls have changed (can be done with a shift register). If nothing has changed, then have a case structure that does nothing. If the values have changed, then get the new data.
    If you are using LabVIEW 6.1, then you can check for a value changed event on the ring controls. Everything else from the 6.0.x version from above would be the same. This eliminates the polling which reduces processor use.

  • What is the best way to export the data out of BW into a flat file on the S

    Hi All,
    We are BW 7.01 (EHP 1, Service Pack Level 7).
    As part of our BW project scope for our current release, we will be developing certain reports in BW, and for certain reports, the existing legacy reporting system based out of MS Access and the old version of Business Objects Release 2 would be used, with the needed data supplied from the BW system.
    What is the best way to export the data out of BW into a flat file on the Server on regular intervals using a process chain?
    Thanks in advance,
    - Shashi

    Hello Shashi,
    some comments:
    1) An "open hub license" is required for all processes that extract data from BW to a non-SAP system (including APD). Please check with your SAP Account Executive for details.
    2) The limitation of 16 key fields is only valid when using open hub for extracting to a DB table. There's no such limitation when writing files.
    3) Open hub is the recommended solution since it's the easiest to implement, no programming is required, and you don't have to worry much about scaling with higher data volumes (APD and CRM BAPI are quite different in all of these aspects).
    For completeness, here's the most recent documentation which also lists other options:

  • Getting data out of ALV Grid

    Hi,
    i have an editable instance of cl_gui_alv_grid. Is there an easy way of getting out the data or do i really need to implement an event handler catching handle_data_changed? • Automatically populating a Form from data stored in Access

    Hi,
    I need help automatically populating a form from data stored in Access. The form needs to have specific fields that are updated from an Access database. I want to be able to enter a site number and have the subsequent list of information (approximately 35 pieces of data) populate. I DO NOT want to update the Access database via the form. The form is for quick viewing and documentation only, not data entry. Currently I've been doing this with VB in Access which exported the data to a Word Document which was then saved as a PDF. It seems easier and less troublesome to go directly to the PDF form, but I can't figure out how!
    I have already connected my database to the form using OLEDB.
    I don't want a dropdown list and I don't want buttons to scroll through the sites (I've already found out how to do that through this forum).
    Any help would be very much appreciated!!

    Some more help to get started in this.. would be really appreciated..Are you trying to come up with the graphs yourself? IF so, are you familiar with MVC?

  • Business user  needs to view tables with out SE16 access

    Hi ,
    There is a requirement where  business user  ( Data team)    need to view some master and transactional data tables  in  production . But , as per our process , end users will not  be given SE16  access .
    Is there any solution where we can allow the end user  to view tables with out SE16 access ?
    Thanks in advance .
    Thanks .
    Dharma.

    Hi,
    Using Function Module C160_TRANSACTION_CALL you can call any tcode which dont have access..
    Create a report  and call function module and pass se16 to parameter .
    CALL FUNCTION 'C160_TRANSACTION_CALL' "
      EXPORTING
        i_tcode =        'SE16'            " sy-tcode
      EXCEPTIONS
        ILLEGAL_INPUT = 1           "
        INTERNAL_ERROR = 2          "
        .  "  C160_TRANSACTION_CALL
    now create a tcode for this report as ZSE16.,
    hope this helps u.,
    You can also create Data browser ( SE16 ) in report and display as ALV., using Field Symbols and RTTS.
    Thanks & Regards,

    I am working on a collection of useful examples and hints for DataPlugin development. This document and the DataPlugin examples are still in a early draft phase. Still I thought it could be helpful for you to look at it.
    I have added an example file format which is similar to what you described. It's referred to as Example_1. Let me know whether this is helpful ...

  • Get data out of Pagemaker

    I am a database person.  I don't know the Adobe product set.  The users are in Pagemaker (sorry don't know what version). The plan is to move to database assisted publishing.  The users are definitely not technical - and know what they are doing in Pagemaker by rote only.
    I want to get the current data out of Pagemaker.  Put it into a database, probably Microsoft Access.  Have them upgrade to InDesign.  And then use the datamerge feature of InDesign.
    Can one export data out of Pagemaker to excel or text file?  They will be resistant to re-keystroking all that data.

    just a note; will use excel/csv for the future datamerge;  Access exports to this no problem.  But there is a huge efficiency in having the data in a database rather than in excel in terms of routine updates.  All the data is cross referenced.  The catalog is organized by name, by county, by industry, etc.  Each is a section.  A person changes location or industry - - and one doesn't want to have to go to each section and make the change.  Besides being x5 the amount of work, they are having errors when they fail to remember to manually update every section in a change.
    In a database format - you just change the person's data once; and then each section is automatically changed.   The publication is annual but the updates & changes occur daily.  So we will export it from Access to excel / csv at the time of publication for import by InDesign.  It would be even more efficient if InDesign handled direct links to Access tables or queries - as does Microsoft's Word merge - but at 1x per year it isn't a biggie.  If one was publishing frequently then that direct link into the database might be quite important.
    But in any case I would think anyone in the catalog type publishing - where the info is presented sorted & resorted in various formats/categories like described here - really wants to use a database as the fundamental data holder.

  • Buffer Table not up to date error while accessing Catalogs

    Hello,
    I am getting Buffer table not up-to-date error while accessing ARIBA Procurement Catalogs.
    Initially, my Test system was pointing to Production Catalogs but now, when I changed the settings in "Define External Web Services" and pointed it to DEV Catalogs, it is failing with error: "Buffer Table not up-to-Date"
    Refreshed the Buffer already but still error not fixed.
    We already have the similar settings in other systems and there the connections are working fine
    Please advise
    Regards

    Hi Manish,
    Could you please check the below notes and implement the same since I had the same issue upon punching out from the catalog to SRM system.

    2086844 - Dump "Buffer table not up-to-date" on Check Out from Catalog
    In addition to the above, please maintain the portal information in the path as shown in the below screen shot
    Kindly check and let me know on how it goes.
    Best Regards,
