Loops grayed out

Earlier today all my loops categories were showing and able to use - shaker, piano, strings, etc. I downloaded the extras from the Apple web site and they were all working fine. I'd hit reset and they'd all show up.
Now everything after the 4th category of loops is grayed out, even when I open a project where shaker was used and so forth.
What do I do to get them to all show again?

Oh nevermind, figured it out.

  • How do I loop music on my iweb site? Quicktime on Inspector is grayed out, so I cannot check the loop function.

When I try to have music loop on my iweb photo page, it won't loop. You have to click on it to start it when you go to the page, but then the music finishes before the slideshow is over. I have done it in the past by checking auto loop in Inspector, but now my inspector options are all grayed out. I am wondering why??
Is this a bug? My other iweb photo pages have looping music.
    Thanks, K

You have to click on the audio file on the iWeb page before the QT inspector pane will be active.  Have you clicked on/selected the audio file before going to the QT inspector pane?
If to then try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
    launch iWeb and try again.

  • CS4 license marooned on my dead / inaccessible computer. Online Support goes in circles. Can't elevate to human by phone, or by chat. Chat link grayed-out for me. Now what?

    Hello:
I attempted to follow instructions given by a previous answer that addresses the same problem I have, but without success: Deactivation, cant reach computer it was activated on and Adobe "support" goes in circles and ends up in forum where Adobe cannot deactivate for me
Following Contact Customer Care did not lead me to chat option that I could spot. I'm sorry if I missed a link that is obvious to everyone but me. Maybe I just need that link pointed out to me more vigorously.
By the way, this link, What are my contact options? has a chat option, but it is grayed out (at least for me) so that's a dead end.
So, please explain to me (like I'm a bewildered child) how to get to chat support. I am unable to fill in logical gaps by myself. :-/
    Thank you SO much. :-)
That's it for my question. The rest is just a boring account of how I struggled to get here. Which I include just in case an Adobe Staff Member would find my customer-experience worth noting.
I reached Shivangi Moitra (Adobe) [email protected] by sending feedback about the dead-end support loop that I encountered by following the steps here, at www.adobe.com/getsupport. Incidentally, I gave her a detailed description of my deactivation problem too. Shivangi responded by directing me to use the same link that goes in circles! To wit: "The first step for contacting us will be to start online [at www.adobe.com/getsupport]." Of course you notice that this is yet another dead-end circle in the customer support system.
If my email to Shivangi is a useful reference then here you go!
I am unable to get online or phone support from Adobe. I need to deactivate CS4 from a dead computer. Adobe online help is defective because it puts the user into an endless loop making it impossible for me to find a solution, and impossible to get support. Please remedy the defect and please call or email me to manually update Adobe's activation database. (Phone and email address redacted.)
I own a copy of CS4 that is marooned on dead computer. Consequently, I can not deactivate that copy. I know that a single license for Adobe CS4 only lets me install the application on two computers, of which I can only use the application on one computer at a time.
I need Adobe to manually deactivate my earliest CS4 installation from its servers so that I can activate CS4 again when my new computer dies so that my work flow is not interrupted by the unavoidable (meaning eventual) breakdown of my next computer.

  • How to gray out certain fields on the selection screen based on the radio b

    HI All,
I have an ALV report. On the selection screen I have 2 radio buttons ..for eg..A and B.
When radio button A(its on by default) is on..certain fields not relevant to this should be grayed out. Similarly when radio button B is on, certain fields should be grayed out.
I did the AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT and also did the
LOOP AT SCREEN....ENDLOOP logic. The logic works but when I click the radio button B...the screen fields automatically does not gray out. I have to press ENTER and then its grays out.
I know a USER_COMMAND needs to be attached.
Can anyone give me a step by step details of how to do this. I truly appreciate it. if a screen painter thing is required..please give me the tcode and step by step detail to do this.

  • ExportPDF Convert button grayed out

Two days ago my company paid for a subscription to ExportPDF. But when I open a document in Acrobat 11.0.06 and sign in, the Convert To: option button and the Convert button are grayed out. Nothing works, no error messages, no indication of any problem. The product indicates that we paid for 12 months of unlimited conversions of PDF to Word, Excel, and maybe RTF, but so far this has been a waste. Three different useless chat sessions finally brought me here. Does anyone know anything useful to try?

    David,
Thanks much for your reply! But unfortunately that is not the reason because as I noted above " ... when I open a document in Acrobat 11.0.06 and sign in, the Convert To: option button and the Convert button are grayed out."
I have also tried to use ExportPDF from the web tool, same result.
    Here is what happens.
I open any PDF I'd like to convert. In the Tools panel on the right, I toggle open ExportPDF. At this point, the Convert To: and Convert buttons are available. If I click either one, I get the notice that this requires a Paid Account and to Sign Up Now. Since I have already paid, I close that and go to the little blue Sign In link at the upper right corner.
A Sign In box pops up asking for my password as my Adobe ID email address is now prepopulated. I enter my password and get logged in as indicated by the username at the upper right.
BUT the Convert To: and Convert buttons in the ExportPDF panel are still grayed out and now there is the light blue box that indicates this requires a Paid Account and I need to Sign Up Now. So you see this is an endless loop to nowhere. (Same thing happens on the web, constantly prompted to pay, even though I already have.)
My guess is that the system has failed to register that I am a paid user. Can you unstick this and make it work correctly?
It's now been about a week since we paid, the option does not work, and I believe this is something simple. I need to be able to use this as Adobe advertises or request a refund.
    Thanks,
    Charlie

  • Possible fix for no audio & grayed-out volume control

Hi, I just thought I'd post this fix I found for my Mac Mini losing audio and also having the volume control grayed-out as if permanently muted.
I have had this problem a couple of times on my Intel 2 GHz Core 2 Duo Mac Mini. I have tried some of the software solutions found on the web such as zapping PRAM, deleting certain Plists, etc. But in my experience the fix that has worked is to open the Mac Mini and unseat and then reseat the orange Foxconn ribbon audio cable where it connects from the Mini's audio board to what I assume is the main circuit board. Then when you reassemble and turn on your Mac, audio will be back.
My theory is that unplugging and re-plugging USB and audio cables on the back of the Mini near the audio board eventually loosens the internal ribbon cable and causes the audio to stop working. My latest attempt at a permanent solution is to have USB and analog 2.5mm stereo audio 'extender' cables plugged in on the back of my Mini, which loop forwards over the top of the Mini where they are all taped down securely. This allows me to plug and unplug cables without ever disturbing the actual USB and audio ports on the back of the Mini.  I am hoping this will help avoid the lost audio & grayed-out volume control problem in the future since the connection of the internal audio ribbon cable is less likely to be disturbed. It is a somewhat ugly solution but seems to be working so far.  I'll post later on if the volume control gets grayed out again even with these measures.

    Not on mac though

  • How to make selection parameter gray out, not changeble mode

    Hi Experts,
Selection screen having parameters, I am putting default values in that parametrs.
How to make this parameter gray out, not changeable mode.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
For the parameters required, while declaring them use the MODIF ID, lets say you have choosen the modif id as SC1.
i.e. parametes: p_mat type matnr DEFAULT '100' MODIF ID SC1.
Then in the initialization event, code as below.
        LOOP AT SCREEN.
          IF screen-group1 = 'SC1'.
            screen-input = '0'.
            MODIFY SCREEN.
          ENDIF.
        ENDLOOP.
    It will work.

  • Make cells of Table control grayed out(input disabled) based on condition

    Hello Experts,
I have a requirement where the data is getting populated in table control from my custom tables.
Now in three columns of the table control if the data is coming as blank from z table then I have to show the cell as editable so that user can put the data and it can be saved back in custom table but If some data is coming from custom table and it is shown in the table control then the cell should be grayed out(Non Editable).
To achive this I'm using the Following piece of code but it is not working still.
    In PBO
    loop at   gi_actual_tc
           into gw_actual_tc
           with control tc_actual
           cursor tc_actual-current_line.
           module tc_get_lines.
    endloop.
    MODULE tc_get_lines OUTPUT.
    data : lv_index  TYPE sy-index,
           lv_index1 TYPE sy-index.
    lv_index = sy-tabix.
    CHECK gw_actual_tc-zlc_subcon IS NOT INITIAL.

      IF screen-name = 'GW_ACTUAL_TC-ZLC_SUBCON'.

         ENDIF.
        screen-intensified = 1.
      ENDIF.
    MODIFY SCREEN.

  • Grayed out input screen field

    Hi all,
How can I check the status of a screen field if it is displayed only in some case?

In the event AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT you can do a LOOP AT SCREEN and turn off the ACTIVE indicator. Use the debugger to determine what the name of the field is that you want to hide.
    something like

  • Grayed out Window

    Hey all!
I have an interesting issue. I've made a Cocoa-AppleScript application that just performs a bunch of simple shell commands. The reason I'm using Xcode for this and not just making a shell script is because I would like to share this with some co-workers who are a little intimidated by the command line.
So I've created an app with a window and a progress bar in that window. The application runs just fine, does what it's supposed to. However, when it's run the window and progress bar are grayed out until the job is nearly done. Then the window takes its color and the bar turns blue. Clicking on the window does nothing. Anyone have any ideas? I don't think it's my code but here's something similar to what I have:
    property parent : class "NSObject"
        property ProgressBar : missing value
              on applicationWillFinishLaunching_(aNotification)
                        ProgressBar's setUsesThreadedAnimation_(true)
do shell script "some command" with administrator privileges
            ProgressBar's incrementBy_(2)
      end applicationWillFinishLaunching_
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

When converting AppleScripts to run in a Cocoa application, it is pretty easy to block the user interface, which is what is happening with your do shell script command.  You also aren't giving the application a chance to complete its initialization since the applicationWillFinishLaunching_ notification is sent right before the application object is initialized (you can look at the NSApplicationDelegate Protocol Reference to see when the various notifications are sent).
The applicationDidFinishLaunching_ method might be a better place to start, but you will still need to let the run loop process events periodically, or your UI won't be responsive (the event queue can also get backed up).  If your shell script is taking a long time, you might want to take a look at using NSTask to run it in the background.

  • New iPod Touch with grayed-out "No Wi-Fi" text in Settings

Just got a 16GB iPod Touch as a refurb. from Apple Store. I install iTunes, hook it up to my computer, follow all the instructions, and then after it's charged, disconnect it to begin using it.
First thing I do: try to set up the wi-fi. Only problem: I go into Settings and at the top, where it says "Wi-Fi" it is grayed out, and says "No Wi-Fi" next to it. In the About section, it says "N/A" for MAC address.
I have turned the unit off and on, performed a soft reset, a full restore through iTunes, and even paid the $4.95 to upgrade the OS to 3.1.2, thinking that version 2.x might be the problem.
Still... no Wi-Fi. According to Apple's site, refurbs are supposed to be fully tested and brought back up to factory spec before being shipped out. What hhappened to THIS unit? How'd it make it from China to my porch without anyone at Apple ever turning it on to see if the wireless chip in it even works?
Now I've got to go through the hassle and delay of exchanging it and waiting for the replacement to come in the mail from half a world away. Here's an idea, Apple... sell refurbished stuff that works with the guarantee that if it doesn't work or if it's defective, the customer is guaranteed a brand new unit as a replacement. Maybe that will light the fire under the techs to make sure they don't send out broken equipment as "Apple Certified."

I completed the instructions in the linked knowledge base article. It did not fix the problem. Apple has agreed to replace the unit after I ship it back to them. I will now have to wait another week before another refurbished unit arrives from half-way around the world...
I think my problem with this whole thing is that Apple specifically touts the fact that refurbished units sold through their online store are extensively tested and will work like a brand new unit. Obviously nobody even turned this unit on and went to the basic "About" screen in Settings to see if wireless was working. They would have caught the problem right away.
This is a check that should have taken 5 seconds for a technician to perform and would have saved me the disappointment of having the first iPod I've ever owned be a lemon... and saved me another week of waiting for a gizmo that I had expected to be using already. Don't sell Apple Certified refurbished stuff unless you're going to actually turn it on and make sure it works!
My other complaint... the rubber seal between screen and metal case is bulging out at two corners. It looks shoddy and cheap. I don't know who worked on this particular unit, or if this is par for the course with Apple. If the next one looks shoddy too, or has any problems, it will be my last time trying to get an Apple iPod. I got refurbished since I don't have much money - and I just can't justify spending the amount they charge for a new one. One more try Apple...
