Lose the column headings

I used the "Group Above" report wazard to build a report.
I used my master record (and column haeding) in the group above and the child records in the details section. The report works fine. However, when there is no record found I will lose my column heading. Any help would be appreciated.

hello,
this is the expected behavior. since the column headings are in the same frame as the detail repeating frame, they are formatted with the first record that is returned. if there is no data returned, the group is not formatted, hence the column headings don't show up. if you want them to show up, move them to anohter frame so they get printed always.

     My requirement is I need to get data for weekly wise and for the last 10 weeks also. For this purpose I used the restricted KF based on the variables (customer exit) and offset. Also used the text variable for displaying from and to days in the column headings. I am getting the right text for the first column only. But the text offset is not considering.
Ex 07/04/2007 to 07/10/2007      06/27/2007 to 07/03/2007 like that.
I used the two text variables one for from data and other for to date using the customer exit. I am getting the same text as of the first column for the subsequent columns also. Please help me for getting the right text in the columns.

Hello ,
           The quite simple way is to create a text variable with replacement path , as it replaces the value of customer exit used in the report.
create two text variables
First variable:
1 Replace variable with -
external characteristic key value
For interval use ---from value
2.Secod text variable
Replace variable with -
external characteristic key value
For interval use ---To value
offset start -0000 offset length0000
use these variables in the column headings.

The column headings in my Response and Summary views have disappeared

The column headings in my Response and Summary vews have disappeared. I have seen others have had this problem and that the work arounds discussed do not work.
Can Adobe please advise when this bug is going to be fixed?

This is not likely to be a bug but users selecting all rows to clean up responses and deleting. Doing a "Crtl+A" will select the Header row - there is a warning dialog before allowing you to delete the header row but it still happens all the time:

Is it possible to change the column headings when ever i execute the query

in the runtime i want to change the column headings is that is possible.
Ex: if write a timestampadd(.......) function in the table heading is that change the dates automatically whenever i execute the query?

bbfff 6 10It looks like the dates are values in a column? Put that column in the Columns section of the Pivot Table and Product Name in the Rows section and it should produce what you are looking for.

How to preserve the column headings from my playlist when I transfer the list as WAV files to a flash drive?

I have digitized several old vinyls as WAV files and have them in my MacBook Pro in an iTunes playlist. I have arranged the list under the column headings of "Grouping", "Name", "Time", "Artist", "Album" and "Genre". When I copy the files to a flash drive by drag-and-drop, none of the headings except "Name" show up. How to preserve all of the column headings when copying the file to an external device? I have the same issue when trying to sync from iTunes 11 on my MacBook to my iPhone 4 iOS6.1. I blindly did the iOS upgrade to 6.1 (more fool me) and since then have not been able to use my phone as an iPod.
I have tried restoreing it, I ve tried restoring it to a new phone but it hasn't worked for me.
The sync starts and the capacity bar in iTunes shows capacity including and music or films etc that are to be included in the sync and then iTunes stops the sync and nothing has been transfered. As with your experience the music is shown in iTunes under Music, under Devices as greyed out with the syncing icon (dotted circle) to the left of it.
When I try to include photos in the sync, I also get an error msg stating the connection to the iPhone has been lost. I am trying to do the sync vis USB, so I dont why I get this error.
I can of course download any music I've bought from Apple from my iCloud to my phone but I want to be able to put any music I want on to it like I could before on iOS5.

The heading are in the table pt_fcat - you don't seem to be passing that in form....

Column Headings in the report and adding an extra field to the report

Hi All.
I had an issue like i need to put column headings for a report and I want to add an extra field to the report.
The problem here is that the report was actually cloned from a Query.At the time of cloning,they forgot to add the column headings.
Now we need to add the column headings for the same.How can we proceed for this and where we need to add our code?
How to add an extra field to the existing report?
Any pointers will be very much helpful.

Column headings missing in the ouput

Hi All,
the report is displaying more than 255 line size for that i have given in the program as shown below
Report XXXXX LINE-SIZE 323.
Actually i had ran the report in the background there i have selected print settings as shown below
format :Z_65_1023 Expanding the spool size for more than columns 255
but iam not getting column headings after 255 line size.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Webforms - Wrap Text/Word Wrap for Column Headings

I have some member aliases that are set as my webform's column headings, but they are fairly long. Setting the column width to a custom value that fits most of the text in the heading makes the form very wide and ugly to work with. I don't see any option to Wrap Text or use Word Wrap in the column headings. Is there any way to do this?

I am not aware of any option which allows you to wrap the text, it may be possible customizing the [CSS |http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/html_hp_admin/ch12s03.html] though to be honest I am not even sure about that and even if it was possible it would apply to all apps.

Dynamic crystal report generation - issues with column headings

I'm trying to generate a crystal report dynamically based on a "result set" data(Query: select REPORT_ID, REPORT_NAME, REPORT_DESC, RPT_FILE_NAME, LOCATION from IRS_REPORT_DETAILS). I'm able to generate the report run time, But the report is without columns heads. I would like to include the column headings as well. 
I searched the API(RAS) and found that there is a 'add(java.lang.String fieldName, java.lang.String headingText) " method present in "ReportObjectController" using which we can add the headings.

IField field = table.getDataFields().getField(i);
Here you are getting the first field in the array. This may not be the field you want to add since we aren't sure how the arrays are ordered when retrieving fields from the report. It is better to retrieve the fields with the findObjectByName method, thus ensuring you are retrieving the field you want to add to your heading.

Hiding the column headers in boxed view

I've created a custom list that I'm displaying in boxed view. Here's a sample of the columns:
Business Systems Manager
Project lead
Project number
SFA?
Etc...
In boxed view, it displays like I have it here - vertical. The names of the people and info display next to each item.
However, the web part is still displaying the column headings across the page like in this example:
Business Systems Manager - Project Lead - Project Number - SFA? - etc...
Some of my custom lists carry on for 12 or 13 columns and the main page view has about 6 or 7 of them so needless to say, the extra real estate the column headers (which are completely redundant because the column heading info is IN the boxed view!!!) are taking up is killing the layout of the page.
Is there anyway to remove the column headers from the boxed view with out of the box Sharepoint? Or is Designer required?

1) Add a Content Editor Web Part
2) Click Source Editor
3) Enter the following code:

It is working well. In ALV display the column heading is changed to what I wanted. But the question is when I export the displayed ALV to Excel using ALV functionality, Export->Spreadsheet... I see that I dont get the Column Heading into Excel as it was in the ALV display.
I get in the Excel as 'Material u' or 'Mat. Used'. But when I add this line in the code.....
when 'Material'.
 field_wa-seltext_l = 'Material used'.
 field_wa-seltext_m = 'Material used'.
 field_wa-seltext_s = 'Material used'.
 field_wa-outputlen = 20.
Then I see that I get the complete heading in the Excel. But this way the columns with outputlen 20 are taking much space in ALV display.
Is there any fix for this. May be not mentioning the outputlen but still get the column headings into Excel as it was in ALV display.

The labels have a fixed size:
seltext_l is long text: 20 char
seltext_m is medium text: 15 char
seltext_s is short text: 10 char
The text 'Material used' is long 13 char so you should write:
field_wa-seltext_l = 'Material used'.
field_wa-seltext_m = 'Material used'.
field_wa-seltext_s = 'Mat. used'.
You can try to set the field colwidth_optimize of parameter IT_LAYOUT.
This field should optimize the width of the colunm
So
data layout type SLIS_LAYOUT_ALV.

Problem with black Genius bar and column headings

I have just installed the latest version of iTunes and when in Grid view all the column headings have a black background and also the Genius sidebar has a black background.
I have tried to create a new iTunes library and they are still black.
I have installed and uninstalled iTunes - no help.
