Lot of issues

i have a lot of problems with the iPod Nano, already checked all the sites and its just not working. First: when i try to re-install the ipod software it tells me to restore ipod, i click ok, then it begins "formatting" and then "rebooting" ipod...but this rebooting takes HOURS and doesnt show anything else, not even an error message or something.
Second, after totally charged, when i disconnect the ipod from the PC, it tells me the battery is low!!
Third, the iPod isnt correctly detected by my pc nor iTunes, on my pc it says: "disco extraible" wich means something like extraible disk...as if it was a USB Memory, when i try to open it...it says "insert an extraible disk", already done that of reinstalling COM, iTunes, etc.
Fourth, my iPod hasnt worked ever, i bought it yesterday.
I hope there's something to solve all this problems, it costed way too much for it working like this

    There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
    You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
    Back up all data before making any changes.
    One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
    If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
    Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
    Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
    In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
    Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
              Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
              Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.

    So, about a week ago my macbook pro started having lots of issues: wifi connectivity, slow performance, sound issues, spotlight wasn't working. After going through the issues with apple support, they decided the best course of action was to erase the hard drive and do a reinstall. Since I have a recent backup this seemed like a good enough option. They were kind enough to send me a copy of the snow leopard disk to do the install since we couldn't get it to complete through the disk utility. Not sure why, since it says we are fully connected, it just never completed.
    Anyway, so now that you have the background here is the new issue. The macbook pro keeps spitting out the disk I'm trying to install from. Disk utility and using the 'Startup Disk' function from the apple menu doesn't read the disk.
    Can anyone suggest a solution to this vexing problem?

    It seems like there are a lot of issues with the 3GS on iOS 5.1, should I stay with 4.3.5? Part of what worries me is that my business is completely reliant on this phone and the billing and job tracking software I use, so if something were to happen I would be in trouble. Also, myself not being all that tech savy I am wondering if by hooking my iphone up to itunes once every couple of weeks, is it creating a backup file? If I had to replace my phone could I just plug the new one into itunes and have all of my apps and data transferred onto the new phone? I want to get proactive about this so at the very least I'm not tempting fate.

    Looking around here, what you are going to see is problems. People don't come to forums like this to talk about how smoothly their phone is working.
    Backing up every couple of weeks is OK, if you can afford to lose several weeks worth of data.
    That's one of the huge advantages of iOS5. Wireless backups to iCloud. Plug your phone in to charge at night, and if you have WiFi, it will back up without the need for you to do anything.  If it gets run over by a truck, you get a new one, restore from iCloud, and off you go.
    if you don't update, you're going to start running into problems soon as new versions of many apps REQUIRE iOS 5.

    I have lot of issues with the iPhone. First I cant forward the messages that people sent me, second you can't receive or send a picture mail directly from phone to phone, the sounds and the speaker is so low you can barely hear and has lot of static when you turn on the speaker phone, and you cannot connect to itunes store with the internet you have through AT & T it keeps asking you for Wi Fi and says cannot connect to itunes store, and you can't send address to other phones that really *****
    I mean these features are so simple any cheap phone can do it why not iphone they say it is so advance over the other phones. apple should really work on this. i think that is the reason people still prefer black berries or other phones. iphone is cool as they say it is but it is not that impressive at all if you can do basic features like these!!!!

    Yes you can. People can send an MMS to your e-mail address, instead of your phone number. You can e-mail a pic to their phone - they will receive as n MMS. Do a forum search as this has been explained thousands of times.

    It is called the itunes wi-fi store for that very reason.

    Again, nothing new.
    Perhaps you should spend more time researching before you spend the money.
    If you are within the return window, take the iphone back to the store and get you money back - less restocking fee - consider it the cost of not researching.

    To send a MMS to a non-iPhone you must have cell data on.

  • I bought macbook pro last year July and i had lot of issue

    Hi,
    I bought macbook pro last year July and i had lot of issue and problems start just after 2 months of my purchase
    apple care re-install OS 4-5 times, replace RAM 3 times and they replace Kernel Logic Board 2 times but still my laptop is not working it's hanged and sometime it response very late (seems hang for fer seconds) the funny thing is when i check all repair cost it's almost 70% of new MacBook Pro. I really don;t know why they not give me new unit. Can some please tell me what is the return policy of apple because i really ****** off  every week i went to apple store to solve the same issue and when i said i am not satisfied with this unit i want another new laptop then store manager said we can't give you new unit we can repair it.
    This is my first apple laptop and i really not like it.

    We are all users here trying to help other users by exchanging troubleshooting tips.
    Other than suggesting to contact Apple again, what response can we give?

  • I am having a lot of issues but the big one is that my menu, buttons and toolbar keep greying out

    I am having multiple issues and they all seem related to the menu/settings:
    • Every time I start Firefox, my bookmarks toolbar is invisible. The box to display Bookmarks Toolbar IS checked but I have to disable and then re-enable it on the toolbar menu in order to get them to display again.
    • "Tabs on Top" keeps defaulting to off. I check the box every time I run the browser, but every time I close it, it's back off again when I restart.
    • I keep getting tabs that cease to be interactive. They are stuck open and I cannot close, move, or pin them. In fact, if I try to click on the tab, it selects the tab immediately to the right of it. It's like Firefox does not realise these tabs exist.
    All of these are frustrating but I could handle them if this also wasn't happening:
    • Periodically, all my menus and buttons grey out and I am unable to use any of them. I can't click bookmarks, I can't use my back/forward buttons, I can't access anything on the menus. I can still use the URL bar and interact with the websites themselves. It seems particularly prone to doing this while I am adjusting settings or toolbars which unfortunately I have to do a lot because of the aforementioned issues. I have not yet been able to use the browser for longer than 15 minutes before it happens. I am having to restart it constantly.
    Potentially Helpful Information:
    I have reinstalled Firefox (once as an upgrade, once I uninstalled the original one first) several times at home in hopes this would help, but it has not.
    I am using Windows 7. (at work I am still running 2k and Firefox 4 works great)
    The only addons I am using are Morning Coffee, Personas, Adblock and Noscript. I use them also at work with Firefox 4 without issue. They are all updated for the latest version. Additionally, disabling them makes no difference in the presentation of these issues.

    If you are having that many issues, and if you have tried all five of the Five Rs, then what I would do is take it to an Apple store to the genius bar and let them look at it. It surely sounds as if there might be something wrong with the iPod itself, and if there is, and they can't fix it, they will give you a new one on the spot (assuming they have them in stock).

    I got my Blackberry a few moths ago and it is giving me major problems 
    it all started a week since i got it , the trackpad ... we dont live in a City 
    so i couldnt get it fixed .... then when im chattin or something it gives me
    a white screen and it switches off .... NOW when i started it The trackpad doesnt 
    work at all !!! and when i try to charge it (then i could atleast recieve calls) it Gives me
    a battery with a red cross thru wich i presume means "NO BATTERY" .... i sent it
    in to get fixed ... a few weeks later i got it back and geuss what... STIL NOT 
    WORKING .... i am losing my patience with blackberry and i know here in South Africa they
    are losing lots of customers due to issues like these .... if anyone replies please reply to my email address

  • PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE! I know there are lots of issues with media going offline. I am creating a slideshow of pictures with audio. The audio has gone "offline" and it is not able to reconnect.

    I am using the same computer that the file was originally saved on, so that isn't the problem. I have tried multiple times to reconnect the files, but nothing happens. The sound was edited a little in Garage Band, then saved to the desktop, then edited more in FCP. I don't think that should make any difference but who knows. Please help, I've been working for hours now!

  • Please Apple, explain why iOS 8 was born, it caused a lot of issues.

    Hi There,
    Last Monday i went to the Apple Store, and received a new iPhone 5s, with a swap repair. I was very exited and happy with it, until.... IOS 8.0.2. showed up.
    i did an OTA update and everything went fine, until the moment i would like to place a call or do something, that need to make a connection with my mobile provider.
    For exemple, browse the internet using 3G, Change settings which have something to do with my provider, like turn on or off caller id, or anything like that. The worst of all is that i can't receive any sms, or incoming call.  And when i would like to place a call, I've got the message Call Filed, please try again, and if im lucky it would work after pressing try again for something like 10 times.
    So what I've tried to fix this issue is,
    Restore all network settings, (it dit work for a few minutes) after those minutes the same issue...
    Restore complete back to default fabric settings of iOS 8.0.2. without placing back an backup. (it doesn't work)
    And since apple still provides iOS 8.0, I've even tried to restore from 8.0.2 to 8.0 it so technically I've downgraded. (but still no luck)
    And even though the device is just a few days old, I've tried to remove, clean  and replace the sim card. (but it still doesn't work, again a five minute fix...)
    Temporary fixes that worked for max 5 minutes or less.
    Turnning on and of airplane mode.
    Like i said before, I've tried to remove, clean  and replace the sim card.
    and last but not least Rebooting the device...
    So i've got one question left, please Apple  re provide iOS 7.1.2 again, until all of the iOS 8, 8.0.2 bugs are fixed. Cause if the main reason of purchase every iPhone that introduced the world was stability and a overall amazing good quality, but right now im stuck with a to expensive iPod touch in the skin of an iPhone 5s.. and really unstable, it is the exact opposite from what everyone expect from an quality brand like Apple. i hope that there is a way to deal with this issues for good... Thanks a lot!

    Apple is not on here, we are all fellow uSers, not Apple employees.  Apple merely provides the site for us to discuss and help with technical problems each other is having.
    Apple does not support downgrading an iOS, and removes the older version's files from the server when the new version becomes available.  There is no legitimate way back.

  • Manual Lot Size issue in SNP

    Hi Gurus,
    I have an issue while creating planned orders manually in the planning book as it is not splitting into the lot size which was maintained in the product master.
    Some details on the issue:
    I have a product X and I maintained '4000' as the fixed lot size in product master. When I enter 20000 it should spilt it into 5 batches and which is not happenning and it is placing the entire thing as one bulk order of '20000'.
    (If I run heuristics, it is splitting basing on the lot size maintained).
    It was working correctly for 1 product and for many of the products it is not working. All the parameters for the products are same and there is no difference.
    For the product which was working correctly for one user and for the same product if I try it is not working.
    I probed more into the issue to see if any parameters were added in his profile, there is one custom parameter which is assigned which splits the planned orders basing on the lot size maintained. I even assigned that profile, it worked once and later it is not working.
    The strange thing is for one user it works and for other users it doesn't even work for the same product.
    Note: We recently moved from SCM 4.0 to SCM 5.1.
    Did any one faced such kind of issues before? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

    Hi Murali,
    I am surprised to read the issue.  I will never expect manual planned order to get split.  The lot size settings are applicable only for automated planning i.e. heuristic (MRP in R/3)
    If you have indeed observed that the system splits the orders by lot size, I have nothing to comment.  (probably that is why you did not get a reply for almost a day.
    If you have found some settings and find that they do not work, please raise a message to SAP for the same.
    I do not think system should split the manual planned order.

  • Macbook Pro Retina's screen with a lot of issues (big vertical lines)

    I discovered recently that my MacBook Pro Retina have a lot of strange verticales lines on the screen.
    Not visible in current usage, but when I switch to dashboard and his black background sreen I can clearly see those issues.
    Anyone get this problem?
    Have to change my computer?

    I would certainly take it into an Apple Store and, if you can reproduce the problem for them, insist that it be fixed. If you're within your 14-day grace period, you can exchange your unit for another, no questions asked.
