LSO - Attendance Cancellation Reason - make required?

Hi all -
I can't seem to find a way to make entry of a Cancellation Reason required by a Training Admin (in ECC) when he or she Cancels an individual Booking.  We've defined our Customer-Specific list of reasons, but right now a user can just leave the field blank when Cancelling.  Is there a switch in the IMG I'm overlooking or something that can make that field required?

Hi Jason,
You can use the BADI  LSO_CHECK_BOOKING. It has a method CHECK_CANCELLATION. This can be activated to raise an error if the cancellation reason is blank.

    You can change the Rendered Property through personalization.
    But in your requirement you need to attach the Spell through personalization & extend the existing CO to set the value of the SPELL based upon the condition.

    We have requirement to change Participation cancellation reasons.
    From Business perspective : if from LSO_PV04   wrong  cancellation reason has been entered how it will it  be changed (tcode or menu path ) .
    From technical perspective: Any FM, BAPI etc to change cancelation reason will be very helpful.

    Training related information is not stored in Personnel Administration infotypes but in Organizational Management infotypes instead.
    To get the cancellation details of an attendee for a particular event:
    PP01 : Object type E Object ID event ID.
    Check relationships :
    Relationship B040.
    Programatically you can reach the info as follows:
    HRP1001 where OTYPE = P OBJID = Personnel Number
    RSIGN = B
    RELAT = 040
    SCLAS = E
    SOBID = Business event.
    Get ADATANR field.
    Go to table HRPAD25.
    Paste ADATNR Field value.
    Here CAATR field has the cancellation reason value.

  • TEM - How do I change cancellation reason for an employee

    I cancelled an employee out of a business event in PSV1 and put the reason as 'no show'.  I later leared the employee was actually sick so I would like to change the reason on the cancellation.  If I right click on the business event and choose 'cancellations' i can see the cancellation there, but it doesn't seem to give me the option to modify it. 
    Is there somewhere else I can change it?  Thanks.

    What about the idea of using "NOTES" functionality? You can clearly mention why a cancellation reason which was maintained initially had to be changed again.

    I am due to move the replenishment RLLNACH1 auto job to production.
    If anyone can suggest possible reasons when this job cancels and if so how to fix etc...
    Initially I am running this job for all material.

    Replenishment for fixed bins in whse 500 stor.type 500 not possible now

    You will at least get the same errors that you get when you do it manually in LP21.
    LP314 comes up if a second TO for replenishment already exists.
    So you have to  wait until this other TO is confirmed, then you can execute LP21 again (or the scheduled job tries it automatically again with the next run)

    For my current project, the business wants to implement SAP LSO (Learning).
    They would like to have some small changes in the WebDynpro for ABAP iview "pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.course_details".
    For privacy reasons they want to make the field "Address of the participant" invisible via CTRL-rightmouse Click in Admin mode.
    Various fields are done in the first screen, but when you click on the link "Participant XYZ", you get additional information of it.
    I am not seeing any fields in Admin mode on that level. How can I make this happen for all users?
    FYI: I can't find the "Address" field in the Element structure UI.
    We can disable the link to the participant, but that's not what the business wants. Hopefully someone has the solution (without WD-developement actions please..)

    What you can do is the following:
    Start the application in a 'normal' way, so not in the preview mode. Select the course, and copy/paste the url that is generated in notepad. Please note the following string:
    ASSIGNED_AS=Docent&OBJID=50000716&OTYPE=E&PLVAR=01 (Values will differ on your system).
    These are the input parameters of the WD Abap that gets called, which is lso_mc_admn_course_dtls. (The iView that gets called is pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.course_details).
    Start the Web Dynpro ABAP (you can do this through the backend with transaction SE80, choose Comp/Intf Web Dynpro, enter LSO_MC_ADMN_COURSE_DTLS for the Web Dynpro ABAP, then click open the Web Dynpro Applications bit, double click on lso_mc_admn_course_dtls. Then, from the top menu, select Web Dynpro Application --> Test --> Execute in Administration mode.
    Now add the string that has something like ASSIGNED_AS right until PLVAR=## (the string I pasted up here in this answer). You're now in admin mode with the correct parameters, and you can change the app. Don't forget to transport the changes you made!

  • Can you turn off Reason Code requirement in FF5.2?

    Is it possible to turn off the functionality that requires reason codes to be entered in FF 5.2?  We would rather make the text field below the reason code a requirement but for free text, rather than trying to define strict Reason Codes.

    The participant whom you are trying to cancel is booked for which delivery method course?? and what is the payment method??
    System does not allow to cancel the participant if there is an invoice created against to him/her. Check if there is any invoice attached to this participant, if yes either cancel the
    invoice or create a credit memo after this, you should not face any problems in cancelling the participant...

    I tried this scenario - Created PO-GR-IR and Credit Memo,After that i tried to cance the invoice in MR8M,now it is giving the message Invoice cancelled and accounting document can be posted manually.
    How can i post the accounting doccument manually by credit vendor and debit GR-IR clearing,Contract Repairs.

    Hello
    Go to MIR4 and see the document that has been reverse.
    From there itself you click on Accounting document, it will show you what the accounting document that has been posted in the system. (nothing but FB03 view)
    Now go to FBL1N vendor line items report and run with all open items.
    Though, essentially, the balance of the vendor has become zero, still both the original document and reversal document still shows as open items.
    Now, you go to F-44 and clear them manually.
    If you have proper set up for automatic clearing, then it should clear by using F.13
    For automatic clearing please check the configuration in OB74.

    You can define the ORDER REASON in OVAU transaction and assign this order reason while cancelling the documents
    PATH: IMG->SALES AND DISTRIBTION->SALES->SALES HEADER->DEFINE ORDER REASON.
    OR, if you want to reject individual rejection at item level,
    Then DEFINE it in  transaction code OVAG
    PATH: IMG->S&D->SALES->SAELS DOCUMENT ITEM->DEFINE REASON FOR REJECTION.
