LV2009 hooks for customizing override VIs and accessor VIs

In LV2009, if you use LabVIEW Object-Oriented Programming, you may wish to customize the VIs that are created for New>>VI For Override and New>>VI For Data Member Access. Using scripting, you can do so by editing the four VIs listed below.  These VIs are called at the end
of their respective scripting processes and you are free to include any
scripting code you wish to further customize the VI in question. Some
common customizations you might want include changing the VI name (use
"get" and "set" instead of "read" and "write"), modifying the icon,
adding additional diagram logic, etc.  You cannot edit the callers of
these three VIs, but these three  provide the hook you need to
customize your new VIs as you want them.

    Scenario:
    As per client's requirement we have to develop idoc so that followings requirements will meet:
    Say there are two servers a) MDM Server b) PRD Server
    1] As and when I'll create customer master data in MDM server then customer master should get created with that data in PRD server
        which I can achieve through BD12 by doing some idoc enhancements
    2] Simillarly when i'll create data using transaction J1ID and FD32 in MDM Server (Data relevant to customer master) then that data also should get created in PRD server using Idoc
    May I know which
    1)message type we can use (as we use DEBMAS in case of Customer Master) for J1ID and FD32
    2) Any transaction to send data from one server to another server for transaction J1ID and FD32 (as we use BD12 in case of Customer master for sending data created using  transaction XD01)

    Hello Mahesh,
    In the case of customer master it would be better if you would use standard message types and t code to transfer ddata.
    But in the case J1ID and FD32 you can build a standalone idoc
    Follow these steps to build custom message types and futher transactions
    WE81 - Create message type
    WE31 - Create segment
    WE30 - Create Idoc type
    SALE - Define Logical system (not required if already exists)
    SM59 - Define RFC (not required if already exists)
    WE21 - Define ports (both in sender and receiver)
    WE20 - Define Partner profile (both in sender and receiver)
    BD46 - Distribue the model view.
    SE38 - Create a program to send the idoc in the sender sytem.
    SE37 - Build inbound function module to receive the idoc for receiver system
    WE57 - Assign FM to message type
    BD51 - to change the characteristics for inbound FM
    WE42 - Create Inbound process code.

    Depending on what data you update you need to do the following:
    If updating SAP tables or customer tables which are an extension of a SAP object like business partner, material, activity or similar:
    1. Create the extension of the data object via the easy enhancement workbench (EEWB). This will also create mapping functionality from MSA to CRM Server and extend the BDocs.
    2. Go to the BDoc modeler. Find the sBDoc for data exchange (type Write BDoc), that contains your object and check whether the new segment is there.
    3. In the Mobile Application Studio (MAS) you can now create a custom business object related to the standard sBDoc mentioned in 2 which is mapped to the new segment. This way the data exchange happens together with the main object
    4. Drag & drop the fields of the new BO to a new tile, and link that tile to the existing main object in the UI via the appropriate relation.
    If you would create a new business object / BDoc for a set of attributes belonging to a main object and not use an extension of the existing BDoc then the data would get its own flow and when replicating it would not come together with the main data. This can lead to data inconsistencies and in surplus effort administrating this data.
    If you have your own objects not related to a SAP object, you can do it the following way:
    1. Create your own table(s)
    2. Create a Write sBDoc on the table(s)
    3. Create BO's on each BDoc segment / table
    4. (as above)

  • Has the options for custom command buttons and scripts been removed from speedgrade?

    I run alot of framecyclerDI machines and am looking to upgrade them but i cant seem to find any method of adding command bars and buttons like you could in the iridas versions of speedgrade i also cant see a way of executing any external scripts which for me is a big issue as i have a hell of alot of pipeline scripts that the artist could execute.... any ideas or have i just missed somthing ?.......(would love it if they added a python sdk)

    Its actually more the other way getting speed grade to control outher things.
    i.e
    take the in and out points and send the track to a dcp creator
    rendering and sending anotated frames directly into my databases notes system
    taking the shotname and seeing if theres is a new version avaliable and pull it from the server to the local machine drive/cache
    Theres a load more..but you get the idea .. using the buttons to execute these commands in the interface made these functions editor friendly...
    I can get round some of the issues by reading from the autosave.ircp and setting up a PYQT GUI but that seems like a bit of a hack.
    I understand the reasons to keep the UI uniform (editors dont like it when you move buttons) but Im suprised these options got removed as intergrating software into pre-existing pipelines would seem to be a selling point for any software..
    Are there any plans in the roadmap for speedgrade that would help me in the future?

  • Use of default XACML with custom role mapper and authorization provider

    Hi,
    Is it possible to use the default XACML provider for custom role mappers and authorization providers when role information will be provided via an external application ( not an LDAP or RDBMS server )?
    My custom providers will be communicating with the external application via an API that accepts user credentials and will return decisions whether the credentials were successfully authenticated as well as returning a list of roles for the authenticated user.
    Once the roles and the subject are cached, will the default XACML provider be able to use them to make role mapping and authorization decisions?

    I see 2 approaches. First, write a custom authenticator that stores the role information in the subject either by creating a custom java.security.Principal that is stored in the Subject or by saving it in PrivateCredentials of the Subject. Then right a custom role mapper that knows how to get the role information from the Subject and return a role Map. The default XACML Authorizer will then work with the role information in the role map.
    Second approach is to write a custom role mapper that looks up the role information based on the Subject and returns a role map.
    The chosen approach depends on where you're getting the role information from.

  • Configuring PI during Integration of Cloud for Customer with ERP

    While trying to Integrate SAP Cloud for Customer with SAP ERP using PI, while configuring PI, we need to create a Technical and Business System in SLD for Cloud for Customer. During the Technical System configuration wizard, it asks for "Technical System Identification" and "System Host Name". How do I find this? Is it on Cloud for Customer?

    I think its an alias given to the system as the system is being created as a standalone. You can give your own name for understanding purpose as I also gave my own acronym for cloud system in PI.

  • Where to maintain Turksih translation for customer specific status?

    HI gurus,
    How was your New Year?
    I am kindaa of stuck at maintaining translations from English to Turkish. To maintain translation e.g. For Ee grp I go to Table T501 > on the menu GOTO > Translate > select the language > enter Turkish words. but for the following the translate option is coming dim for me. I don't know if there any other place to maintain it. I am having trouble with the following:
    - customer specific status    Table: VV_T529U_1__AL0   or  Prnl mgmt. > Pernl. admn. > Custm proc. > Create cust. Spec. status               
    - Marital status  V_T502T   or Prnl. Mgmt. > Prnl. admn. > Personal data > Personal Data > Create Marital Status
    - Pay scale type V_t510A  or Prsnl mgmt. > Prsnl admn> Payroll data > Basic Pay > Check Pay Scale Type

    I was able to do the translation for customer specific status and MArital status. For this, when logging in change the language to Thai > Use Tcode SU3 > on the second tab change the language to Thai. from here, everything comes in Thai. you can easily maintain it from there using your table or through SPRO.

    Add a field in the Customer Equipment Card and Service Contract called: Previous owner (with orange arrow to see BP card). The BP code of the previous owner should be transferred to this field.

    When 50 instruments go to another BP we have to alter 200 records (close 50 CEC and 50 Contracts of the current BP - add 50 CEC and 50 Contracts to the new BP). This takes some hours to do the change.
    -- Examples: (Please describe a typical example, how the functionality should work.)
    If you want to know the previous owner of an instrument then this information should be visible in the CEC and Serive Contract screen in the field Previous Owner (add orange arrow to it as well). You should not have to close the CEC and Contract, but be able to overwrite it with the new BP code (like it was in version 2005).

    First close all the CEC and Contracts of the current BP and add new CEC and Contracts to the new BP

    Enter the new BP in the Customer Equipment Card and Actualize. A screen should pop up with a warning: This equipment card will be transferred to business partner C1000. Business partner C1001 will be the previous owner. Ok?

  • Why don't Adobe have a contact for customer services - the "chat' person ignored this question an impressive 5 times .

    Anyone else tried? Elements just does not work properly on Macs and when I asked for help, I was told that help isn't available for my old version so I'd have to upgrade. Like an idiot, I eventually did and found the new version even worse. I looked for customer service contact and  ..... nothing. Only option was for their "chat" - so asked them - told there was no email, I couldn't get a refund as I had bought it from Amazon!  person was unbelievably unhelpful and wouldn't answer any questions, despite being repeated many times. 
    Anyone got any idea how to complain to Adobe - or should I just do what everyone else does and download full photoshop illegally?

    We're just other customers like you, so your guess about why adobe does anything is just as good any of ours would be.
    However, PSE works fine on macs for a great many people, so if you could explain the problem maybe someone here could help you.

    Would be able to help me out to fulfil this requirement ,
    My client requires output for customer invoices (RD00 and ZRDO) via Email and printout depending upon each customers requirement .
    e.g. out of 1000 customers 500 may need print out and rest 500 emails.
    FYI : Invoices are created in background program
    Please guide , it's possible ??if yes what are the steps involved to achive this requirement.?

    I don't know what is your requirement. Please specify the condition which determine the output process type i.e. print or e-mail.
    Otherwise Goto :
    Sales and Distribution > Master Data > Basic Functions > Output Control > Determine Communication Strategy
    In this section, you define the sequence in which the system should search for communication methods in the case of transmission medium 5 ("send externally") for the specified address. You can define the address and communication methods in Business Address Services, therefore specifying a communication strategy
    Here you create new Zstrategy with Communicatiopn type as INT(E-mail) /LET(Post(letter)) and assign this to your condition record as VV11.
    It is SAP standard, so by this Zstrategy first it will check for e-mail id maintained in sales order header SP, if e-mail id is not maintained then it will go for a print automatically.
    Revert back. please tell me ur requirement means on which basis print or mail should trigger.

    sorry for the late reply.
    No You can not do it through Modifictaion Overview for Custom reports, unless and untill its an standard SAP program.
    Might be there any standard functions which could help you, but am not sure of this.
    And as i said the version management and the version comparision can help you know the changes done in any report. in the version management only you can find the version comparision based on the requests.

  • I hate to say - DISATISFIED WITH with CUSTOMER CARE RESPONSE and VERIZON in all for first time.

    I am currently on National 900 plan on Motorola Droid. I switched from AT&T primarily because I love to use data on mobile. Verizon provided me the unlimited plan. I was a very happy customer with Verizon untill now.
    Scenario -
    Today, I called up Verizon customer care executive to see why bill for the month was not readjusted. Can anyone believe it its staggering $1137.73 [Roaming charges 1019.19].
    Since this January, I am visiting to Canada. On first visit in January, I called up customer care to see what options I do have to use my phone in Canada as I use it in US. Verizon had a wonderful plan - just the monthly data plan is escalated appear. 30-40$ extra than the normal appear. 29.99$ plan. I happily added that plan before visiting Canada. While there is Canada, I did get notification couple of time that I am exceeding data limit but again checked with customer care later - they readjusted the bill as that was 'FALSE ALERT' as I was on unlimited data plan while roaming as well in Canada since I paid the additional prorated of (30-40$) for period of my stay there.   
    This equation worked for first and second visit - Unlimited Data while I used to get FALSE ALERT.  
    On my  third visit , things changed - Verizon stopped providing the unlimited data services. I called up as usual before this visit. Customer care executive said - you are set to go to Canada now. I was not very specifically told on call that the rules have changed now and there is limit to data usage while roaming. During this visit also, I got the alerts - I assumed this was also a FALSE ALERT like prior one. 
    But this time, it was not FALSE ALERT, now I charged with this fee. I raised my concern and called up customer care appear. 10 day before [today is March 6th], they assured me that it is going to be re-adjusted ONLY for this time. And, they also asked to check account after 48 hours and if not readjusted please call. But, I checked my account today and it was not readjusted. So, I called up customer care executive for half an hour -- not willing to listen to any logic of mine and he said politely 'SIR, WE CANNOT READJUST YOUR BILL' . I am still trying to figure out where is my fault when I was not told DATA PLAN HAS CHANGED FROM THIS VISIT.
    I hope senior management will look into this matter and re-adjust current bill. It's due this March 10th. I would appreciate any positive response prior to this so that I can pay the bill and BE A HAPPY VERIZON CUSTOMER.

    I called them back yesterday night, not willing to listen my story. Sir we sent you SMS notifications. But these notifications, I also got when I had unlimited plans on first and second visit. Then customer care told SIR you don't need to worry - but this time I should have been very specifically told rules are changed before changing my plans which I wasn't. I was under impression that I am on same unlimited plans.
    A job not well done in COMMUNICATING TO CUSTOMERS and using that an opportunity to OVERCHARGE $1100 - INSANE for one month bill. None of my fault. SMS notification is no communication as earlier SMS noitification were false positive and bills were adjusted as I was on unlimited data plan.
    Now you change the rules and send SMS Notification; RULE CHANGE, one is not aware of.. ANY NORMAL person will treat SMS notification as FALSE ALERT.. isn't it??
