M4E different problem

I have problems with the M4E plug-in on a E51 and E65. I have it up and running and it works fine on Mail, calendar, tasks BUT for some reason it will only sync 27 contacts, I have been moved from Lotus notes to exchange just 2 months ago, but I can not find the connection to see what inhibits the software in taking all contacts Any Idea's ???

I suppose you are talking about contacts that are indeed present on your server?
- Have you tried changing the setting for "In case of conflict" (Mail for Exchange > Edit Profile > Sync content)?
- Are you sure your Domain has been entered in correctly in the Credentials category of the settings? If your username is "2_slow" and the domain is "server" for instance, you could try filling in just the username as "server\2_slow", without filling in a domain.
- Is there a server-side limit on what your username or users in that domain are allowed to synchronise? Maybe the ones it's not syncing are part of protected distribution lists or something?

But they said no, during a year period I went to  the genius bar at least 15 times, with this and similar problems.   I went there yesterday, with different problems, and they said one of the screws  came off from my   truck pad, therefore they need to fix it and change it.  I said: -  What,  how, what  is the real problem?  A screw does not comes off just like that?  They will change my trackpad again, but not the battery. They said  has to rebuild the operation system, I'm  saving all of my data right now! I would like to exchange the battery too, or maybe get a new Macbook. My Macbook is 2010 China model. How long I would have this trackpad  problem? What are you suggesting?

    If it's a 2010 as you say towards the end of your post, it's out of warranty. The battery isn't covered in that case. Why don't you just buy a new battery if that's your concern? If it's a 2013 as you say up at the top, it shouldn't have a bulging battery. How do you know it does? If it really does, ask for the store manager and explain the problem.

    At first my computer had issues. Once it go to sleep it will not back again. I dropped my laptop at apple store to fix it. After 10  days they returned my laptop saying they were no able to fix the problem so they replaced motherboard aiming if that might help. Acttually that didn't help.I had same issue again. I visited apple store again. This time they said they could fix, if I will allow them to format the harddrive. I said ok. They formatted it. It was working fine for few daysAfter few days compter is taking.even more than 15 min to shutdown. Now computer has another problem. It is being hang frequently like every 20'to.30 min.
    I don't know what to do? I still have one month left on first year warranty. I have requested couple times to apple associates either to fix or replace or refund. They are showing me rude behavior. They are not understanding my situation. I am a student. I need to do lot of home work. Since last three month my mac book and apple associates giving me hard time. Any suggestions are welcome.

    Contact Apple Customer Care - not Apple Care - Customer Support. Have your receipts handy and/or case numbers. Be patient, be calm, and tell your story just as you have here. I get the sense you are not in the US and don't have access to an Apple Store but are going to an independent shop. This makes using Customer Support all the more important. If phoning isn't viable, use registered mail.
    Since time is running short, be prepared to purchase AppleCare to exennd your warranty 2 more years. Yes, you shouldn't have to do this, but it gives you added protection and more opportunities over the next 2 years to claim a replacement computer if you don't get one immediately. After dealing with a similar unhappy situation with a Mac in the late 1990s I finally got a replacement computer and reimbursed for the AppleCare policy.

    This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

    Messages on the mac will only show iMessages sent from an iPhone, another mac, iPad etc etc...
    It won't show SMS / Text messages.
    If the messages are green on your iphone then they are text messages... Blue are iMessages

  • IPod not syncing, very strange and different problem compared to others

    I have an 80 GB iPod Classic, when i plug it in to sync with my computer. The computer makes the noise showing that the computer recognizes a USB port being used, however iTunes immediately freezes up while the iPod sits in limbo on its screen saying Connected while showing the Sync sign. While the iTunes is frozen, nothing happens and it does not change until I unplug the iPod. It doesn't matter how long I leave it for. When i unplug the iPod the device menu finally shows in iTunes however it doesn't do any good because the iPod is no longer plugged in. Instead it shows the DEVICE menu in the background with an error message saying either "The iPod "Customer's iPod" cannot be found. The required file cannot be found" or that with a (-53) error message at the end. I have tried many different things including system restore and still does not work. I have tried different ports, different cords. I really don't know what I can do from this point. I have installed and uninstalled iTunes 8.1.

    Use the SHIFT-Launch iTunes method to get iTunes waiting for a library. Stick the iPod in disk mode and connect to the computer. Browse *My Computer* and right-click on the drive for the iPod, click Properties, then click Tools. Under Error-checking, click *Check Now*. Under Check disk options, select *Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors* (Optional - takes ages but a good idea if you've reason to suspect physical damage). Click Start. Mac users should run *Disk Utility / Repair Disk* for the equivalent process. This should find and correct any errors in the logical & physical structures of your iPod's hard drive which may be causing the problem. When the process is complete disconnect the iPod and then reset it (hold Menu+Select ). Cancel the waiting iTunes dialog and then try to connect in the normal way.
    If that still doesn't work you could try Erase your iPod - The Super Fix for most iPod Problems. Basically a low level format of the iPod’s hard drive to get around whatever problems are stopping iTunes from working with it.
    Have you tried connecting the iPod to another computer to see if the issues is focused on the iPod or iTunes?

  • 2 different problems using Export Action

    I'm using LR 1.1 and Photoshop CS3 on a MacPro and PowerBook. I created an identical Action in PS to use as an Export Action in LR. It was to export .dng files, open them, run Noise Ninja (many were high ISO shots), and some other things.
    On one Mac, the files would only open in Adobe Raw Converter, so I'd still have to click to go further for each. With the other, I'd get an error message immediately in Photoshop once the file opened, saying "Feather Command not available". (I had done nothing consciously in creating the Actions (later Droplets) to put in such a command.
    My guest teacher, who knows Photoshop (and Lightroom) far better than I, knows of now reason why such a "feather" error would come up.
    Any reason why an Action written to be identical except for where the files are ultimately saved should work so differently on 2 Macs (both with OS 10.4.9)? Or how I can cure these problems? I'd love to be able to write more Actions to Droplets I can use as Export Actions from LR. (And some I've written *do* work, just not the last couple...)

    I've modified the script so that it now actually works as I want it to (more-or-less).
    I will look into using Get-Hotfix instead of WMIC to check that I am happy with the returned data.

  • Photosmart Premium frustration-3 different problems so far

    Problem 1) I have a new Photosmart Premium all in one. I was unable to do a wired connection, as the computer (Windows XP) would not recognize it when I followed the install instructions to the T. Tried troubleshooting-disconnecting cables and connecting when prompted, restarting printer and computer, but nothing worked.  I tried using the add a printer sequence in XP (deleting the old printer it replaced) and I added the new one, but it still would not recognize it-said it wasn't connected. So I tried doing the wireless set up and had no problem with installation.  It still bothers me however that wired isn't an option, as wireless routers do wear out and I will have no back-up.
    Problem 2) When printing photos using Photoshop Elements, it will not give me the option of choosing print photo options, only everyday printing works on printing full letter-size page (using several different layout configurations). I'm not sure I'm getting the benefit of having a photo printer if I can only set it for regular print jobs.The photos look okay though.
    Problem 3) This one is VERY frustrating and I did search the website and board for answers before posting. When I have it print the first photo, it will whir and click several times, say it is printing and produce nothing but a line on photo paper page (wasting it) and then immediately spit out 3-5 blank pages. Sometimes if I start over again, it will print well. Other times, it takes 3-4 attempts. Very frustrating, as I'm not changing anything, just doing same thing over and over until it decides to print it.  I'm very disappointed in this printer, as I have had HP printers in the past and have had no problems. Should I exchange it for an Epson? Any suggestions would be appreciated, especially on this 3rd issue.

    As regards the issue with Photoshop Elements - do you have the option for Photo or Best printing when in other applications, such as Word or Powerpoint? Or is it just in Photoshop Elements?
    For the third issue you've described, try clearing whatever's in the print queue and then reprint. Does this solve it?
    Please let me know how you get on, as I'm keen to help you solve these issues if I can....

  • Different problems on different architectures

    The 64 bit installer can't see my hard drive. cfdisk gives a fatal error for any of the usual /dev/ candidates, and a quick check through /dev/ seems to suggest that none of them are there.
    The normal installer has no trouble seeing or partitioning my hard drive, but it can't configure my network connection OR see the CD-ROM drive.
    The hard-drive problem I already know has to do with the JMicron SATA controller and there doesn't appear to be anything anyone can do about it right now.
    The other two, on the contrary, are inexplicable. There's nothing spectacular or special about my network hardware or my CD drive. No other distro has any trouble with them in either 32 or 64 bit mode.
    lspci says something like this about it:

    What kernel was openSUSE, Ubuntu, and Fedora using to have that sort of hardware detection.
    Realize that slackware still, by default, gets shipped out with the 2.4 kernel tree, with 2.6 still being in extra or testing (or some such nonsense like that).
    Note: different distributions are not different operating systems.

  • Wow, iTunes is STILL problematic...Different problem now...

    Thanks for taking the time to read this because I have posted many times recently and I hope I'm not getting annoying.
    I tried turning off NIS 2005 to install and launch iTunes, as a comment I was left today said to try.
    Now, I'm getting a weird mix of the problems I had before. I have tried installing, reinstalling, different versions of iTunes, the disc my iPod came with, system reboot to a few days before, disabling NIS...pretty much everything.
    This time when I click on iTunes, nothing happens. I have had this problem and I've also been told there was an error.
    Error # -2095 to be exact. It also says quick time wasn't installed properly.
    ---Here's the problem this time---
    I tried uninstalling completely and then reinstalling. Everything seemed to be going fine. When I was done, I clicked on iTunes and nothing happened. I tried clicking on Quick Time, I got a message saying it encountered Error # -2095 (that's how it was typed on the message).
    I seriously hope I won't have to bother you guys too much longer, I just don't know what the problem with my computer is!? It's driving me crazy because I've never had problems like this before.

  • Random audio problems; different problems depending on where audio is from

    If I play loud music such as the Lord of the Rings or The Dark Knight soundtrack, the MBP speakers will sometimes crackle. However, if I plug in my external speakers, then the crackling will probably still occur in the same song, but at a different time. If I plug in my earphones, then there may or may not be a problem in the song again, but if so, then it will probably be at a different time in the song.
    Why is the problem not consistent? Also, if my earphones crackle, does that still mean that the problem is in the MBP, or is the problem actually in the earphone? I thought that if I plugged in earphones or speakers into the MBP, then only the plugged in device would vibrate to make sound, and not the MBP, so the MBP should not crackle even if the internal speakers are busted when earphones are plugged in?

    I was using Sennheiser earphones for a few years. They worked fine up until a month or two ago, when the buzzing began. After that, I tried out my iPod earphones for a day or two but they had the same problem. A pair of cellphone earphones also has the same problem, as well as my Creative external speakers.
    The buzzing used to only be in the right ear but recently it seems like it can happen from both the left and right, although still mostly from the right.
    I don't think the problem are my ears; it just doesn't sound like it's coming from inside my head, and I clear my ears regularly, anyway. Also, I asked a few other people if they can hear the sound and sure enough they could, so I guess I'm not crazy.
    I almost never use the MBP internal speakers; I'm usually using my external speakers. I do occasionally play loud music, but wouldn't that just blow the external speakers and not the internal ones?

    What value i have to give in Heirarchy level?

      left.When I deselect the hierarchy it is showing the result on
      bottom left.
      Is it any node level problem?
      Another thing what value I have to give in multiprovider level
      when comparin data with report data?
      Ex: In report level I have selected the two nodes COGS and
      Calculated Profit.
       But in multiprovider level what I have to give?

  • G2 Shuffle Will No Longer Connect, Different Problem Than Any On Forums

    After much frustrating searching through forums and endless "ipod help" loops provided by Apple, i'm at my wits very end.
    The error started when the G2 shuffle lost it's charge completely for the first time. When the G2 shuffle is connected to the computer via my usb 2.0 and dock cable to try and charge it and access the songs, the computer no longer recognizes the ipod at all (no indicators from windows or itunes, audible or visual). When the USB 2.0 dock cable is unplugged from the usb port, no sound is made by windows, and no notification baloon is seen.
    This is coupled with the fact that sometimes when i connect the shuffle to the usb 2.0 dock cable, the light indicator starts off as solid orange, then dimms slightly, then proceeds to go fairly quickly into a very fast blinking orange light. And that's only when i get any indicator light at all.
    As i said i've worked through most of the recent posts on the forums, and it seems no one has the same issue as i do, and the help pages are utterly useless. Any suggestions or help? I'd appriceate it a whole lot.

    I had the same problem. There may be something wrong with your dock. Instead of paying $30 for a new one, I squeezed the shuffle and dock together around the pin area. It finally recognized!! However, I have to place a heavy text book on top of the shuffle/dock so I don't have to squeeze for hours while it is charging. Hope that works.

  • Itunes 7.1 different problem

    After installing the new itunes and quicktime update yesterday i have discovered today that neither will load up.
    I was wondering if anybody else had has this problem and knows of a quick fix?
    Macbook cd 2ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.8)  

    I indeed have both these problems and stilll have not fixed them.
    I think from my end it has something to do with my digidesign software (Digi 001) - This could be the same for you if you run this??
    If anyone knows how to fix my ongoing issue of using itunes with digidesign then please let me know...

  • A slightly different problem with aspect ratio and DVD Maker

    I am converting VHS movies to DVD. All are 4:3. Using Microsoft Movie Maker, I create the desired final result, a WMV file that plays perfectly--aspect ratio, sound, whatever.
    The problem comes when I use DVD Maker to create the DVD. The picture gets squeezed pretty much to a square (from the 4:3 original). DVD Maker correctly shows 4:3 as the desired ratio.
    Ironically (considering the solution offered in several similar posts), when I convert that WMV file to AVI, and _then_ use DVD Maker, all appears fine. My only complaint at this point is that the result is "window-boxed." That is, there is large black space
    on all four sides.
    I see nothing in DVD Maker to adjust (in hopes that the original WMV might work for me), but just thought I'd ask.
