Macros in Global.mpt file are not executed
I have several macros in my personal Global.mpt file.
I added a new group in the Developer tab and put there links to these macros.
the problem is that when i press the button, the relevant macro does not run.
the only way to run the macros is by pressing 'View macros' and selecting the macros from there.
please help!

Sounds like the button is not pointing to the correct macro. Maybe it's pointing to the original macros and not the ones in the Global.mpt file.

lead in > Lately I am having trouble with Aperture 3.2.3 who doesn't let me make some image adjustments "out of the blue". To correct this I usially have to reinstall Aperture from scratch. Trying to do so made me find out that I can't execute the Aperture trial 3.1 dmg file or any other dmg file on my iMac. When i double klick on a dmg file it will flash once and then just sit there doing nothing. The dmg "Get Info" window shows that the file is associated with the DiskImageMounter.app as supposed to. I have no glue why it won't execute these files and open the installer. I have tried everything from executing with disk image to repair permissions etc, etc. and I have read all forums and threats I could find but to no avail.
The only way to fix this is reinstalling OSX 10.7.3. After reinstalling Lion everything is just fine - for a while. I am able to reinstall aperture with the trial version dmg file. All other dmg files will also execute. For now I was able to work with my reinstalled system for the last seven days with no glitches, but last night same problem occured as described earlier. I have also checked my harddrive with disk utility and onyx. Both apps say HD is just fine. I wonder how long I will be able to work this time before desaster strikes me again. I should probably mention that the non executable dmg file problem only kicks in after I experience the Aperture problems I mentioned.
Should I reformat my HD and reinstall all my content and OS from a clone Super Duper copy that I have? I appreciate any comments/suggestioms you guys might come up with. Thanks.Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Error: JAR-Ressources in JNLP-File are not signed from the same Certificate
I have two handfull jars, all signed in batch with the same
Certificate. When i start my App with Webstart it tells me:
Your JAR-Ressources in JNLP-File are not signed from the same Certificate.
"JAR-Ressourcen in JNLP-Datei sind nicht von demselben Zertifikat signiert"
Well im shure that i signed all my jars with the same Certificate.
What can i do to solve this problem ???I get the same error.
Strangely exactly every second time it works and every second time I execute the JNLP I get the following error:

Images and .properties(bunldes) files are not being found from my JSPs
Hi,
I have created .ear file by using ANT Application. And deployed into Oracle9iAS(OC4J). Here problem is that images and .properties(internationalization bundles)files are not found from JSPs.
Here is my directory structure.
public_html--->locale -->BusinessEntity -->businessentity_en_US.properties
--->enterprise -->images -->knowldege.jpg
--->BusinessEntity-->BEAdd.jsp
in my jsp bundle(.properties)file is accessed like this:-
<i18n:bundle baseName="/locale/-->BusinessEntity/businessentity" id="businessentity" locale="<%= locale %>" />
in my jsp images accessed like this:-
src="/enterprise/images/knowldege.jpg".
In my working environment, without creating .ear file, images and .properties files are being found my JSPs. But if i create .ear file and after deploy, images and .properties files are not being found my JSPs.

Redo log files are not applied in DR of primary
Hi All,
I have a DR database of primary on QA Serevr. The Redo log files are not properly applied in the DR database.
The Oracle version is 11.2.0.1 Some of the files get shipped and applied to DR database automatically but not all.
SQL> select status, error from v$archive_dest where dest_id=2; gives following massage
ERROR ORA-16086: Redo data cannot be written to the standby redo log

Jspf files are not interpretated when included? weblogic 8.1
Well My problem is that jspf files are not interpretated when included
into jsp files. stuff such as netui tags are included as text and
printed as such?

I discovered the error its the special danish letters (which I cant even
write here due to the charset). ae,oe,aa (???)
When used as variable names in a jspf file and included they are
misinterpreted. This is not the case in a jsp file.
Its clearly a bug in BEA, but I replaced all occurrences and worked
myself around it.

I am getting the following Security exception while running a Java stand-alone program on Linux.
The stand-alone program internally calls the JCE (Java Cryptography Extension) library for Encryption of data. The JCE Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files are downloaded from Sun.
Does anybody have the solution for this error?
Is there Security policy modification to be made for the same?

we have scheduled scripts through crontab,but from few days these scripts are not executing,there is no problem with time entries in crontab because some of them are executing correctly,what can be possible reasons for the cronjobs to not to execute.we are using sun solaris sparc 64 bit.oracle 10.1.0.4I can't say without knowing what the script does. Maybe somebody changed the permissions on another directory that script needs, or maybe another file it needs is no longer available, or ???
Just suggesting a troubleshooting step. If you can run the script in a similar setup then you can eliminate the script as a likely problem. I didn't see anything on the crontab entry that looked to be a problem.

No, the date on the cron daemon will stay the same. It just wakes up once a minute to check for things to do and kicks them off, it never restarts. -
Files are not getting updated in sharepoint 2013 because of office upload center error
Dear Team,
I am getting upload failed/upload error in Office Upload Center.
Scenario: I opened excel(version is 2013) file from sharepoint 2013 application and closed and after updating. Later when I opened the file I got error like "UPLOAD FAILED We are sorry this didn't work. Try saving again later and if that still doesn't
work, click save a copy."
I found the error is because file is getting upload failed / upload error in microsoft office upload center2013.
Please let me know if anyone know the solution for my issues

The default IIS limit for the upload file size is 30MB. If the selected files are larger than 30MB, the files are not uploaded.
The limit can be set in web application’s web.config file or in IIS .

When I try to download them from the Waterstones website I get a message saying:
‘Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library. Do you want to associate them now? When I reply yes I get another message; ‘Configuration error unable to update EPUB files check network firewall and try again’.
The ‘books’ are saved in the Download directory and I can’t transfer them from there to my E-Reader. I have not had any problems before, it was very simple; I saved the download and it automatically went into the Reader Library.
I contacted HP and they said it is a software error and suggested I contact Waterstones. I contacted Waterstones Customer Support and got the following response:
As the error message is specifically mentioning the firewall it does sound like something in the firewall settings is stopping the download from taking place correctly. However, the files should not be being saved to the Download folder. It would be worth trying again by going to your Digital Order History on your Waterstones.com account and pressing the download button, and then making sure to press "Open" not "Save". When you press Open rather than Save it should give the option to open the file with Adobe Digital Editions. If the firewall message still comes up then I'm afraid something is blocking it on your end.
If the above "Open" download method works but you then still get an error message it could possibly be that you have accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up on the new computer, rather than signing in with your old Adobe ID. It would be worth trying the aforementioned download technique again first, but if problems did still persist it would be worth calling Adobe themselves on 0207 365 0735, as they should be able to sort out any account issue.
In response to the first para of Waterstones email I already do what they suggest I do press ‘Open’ not ‘Save’ but I don’t get the open with Adobe Digital Editions (we have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer. Waterstones say we may have ‘accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up the new computer’ does that mean that we shouldn’t have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer as it would have already been there? I ended up instaling Digital editions on my desktop PC and going through the motions of registering and borrowing a book then returning it. Then I trying on my iPad, Bluefire worked, Over drive did not so I completely removed Overdrive and reinstalled and re registered. all working now.
Maybe some one at adobe did something. Maybe the install of the adobe DE client on a PC corrected what ever was out of wack with my account. Mayby the server that my account lives on did a scan disk and corrected a bad clustrer.
What ever happend My account is actiove and working again. hope this helps others. -
Why does iTunes freeze up for minutes at a time when modifying INFO (CMD-i) ? My files are not corrupted after it is done like many other threads i have readed. Sometimes it's changing the title of a movie or editing the season and episode number of a TV show ect.....

I am running the latest iTunes, the latest updates to the OS and on an iMac 3.4GHz Quad core i7 with 8GB of RAM and the music stored on local HDD.
Still locks up iTunes for between 2 minutes up to 20 minutes.
Really annoying.
If you find a fix please, please let me know, I have just been throwing hardware at it with no joy at all -
I upgraded to Maverick O/S and I can no longer right click on iPhoto images to find my photo files. My photo files are not where they were before upgrade.
Have you checked the sorting settings to make sure they are as you expect?

After I created the Physical Standby database, I have also done:
1. I connected to the Physical Standby database instance.
CONNECT SYS/SYS@luda AS SYSDBA
2. I started the Oracle instance at the Physical Standby database without mounting the database.
STARTUP NOMOUNT PFILE=C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\database\initluda.ora
3. I mounted the Physical Standby database:

After several tries my redo logs are applied now. I think in my case it had to do with the tnsnames.ora. At this moment I have both database in both tnsnames.ora files using the SID and not the SERVICE_NAME.
Now I want to use DGMGRL. Adding a configuration and a stand-by database is working fine, but when I try to enable the configuration DGMGRL gives no feedback and it looks like it is hanging. The log, although says that it succeeded.
In another session 'show configuration' results in the following, confirming that the enable succeeded.
DGMGRL> show configuration

Name: avhtest
Enabled: YES
Protection Mode: MaxPerformance
Fast-Start Failover: DISABLED

I just downloaded itunes on my new computer which uses Windows 7. I need to sync my ipone 4S and ipad to it. I noticed my complete song and album files are not in the new itunes. how do i get them imported to the new itunes. Would syncing my iphone and ipad do it?
In iTunes, go to File>Add File to Library or File>Add Folder to Library.
