You are getting your file attached correctly, but you still need to reference it within your HTML text so it will be displayed. You can do this with the cid (content-id) tag. Something like this should work:
<img src="cid:attach_1">
"attach_1" can be any name you specify when you attach the file to the message.
Hope this helps.

    My daughter's older Ipod Touch is having a problem with images becoming pixilated when taken from an e-mail and placed into her camera roll. ( She wants to put on Instagram ) Any help?

    I think that may be a consequence of the email provider she is using. Some services (AOL is one example) inspect and modify email attachments, particularly photos, resulting in reduced resolution compared to the email that was sent.
    The iPod does not do this. The resolution of the picture in the email she receives will be identical to what is imported.

  • How to save HTML file with images present in the server to local machine

    Hi all
    In my application i have a option for the user to save HTML files with images present in the server. The HTML file is getting saved but the images are not being saved.
    The code i am using is below :-
    l
                        File fname = new File(filePath);
                        if(!fname.exists())                return;
                        FileInputStream istr = null;
                        OutputStream ostr = null;
                        response.setContentType("application/"+format);
                        response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=\"" + fname.getName() + "\";");

                                  ostr.write(curByte);
                             ostr.flush();
    Can anyone suggest what i need to do
    regards

    The client should probably parse the html that comes down, and look for <img> links, and request those of the server as well.

  • How to display html content with image in Adobe Flash and Flex mobile project?

    Hi,
      I have a html content with image in it. How to display it in Adobe Flash Builder and Flex mobile project? Which control needs to be used for this?

    Hello,
    The only current way is to use an iFrame, or if you only need some html tags you could use the Text Layout Framework.
    Here this is the iFrame approach:
    http://code.google.com/p/flex-iframe/
    If the swc do not work in Flex4 just use its ource code which works...
    ...it is basically based on this:

  • HTML content with images and links blocked

    Hello,
    I very much need some help here because my company needs to send out newsletters to our clients in HTML format soon and so far the email with HTML content is being blocked as spam while text content works fine. Specifically, whenever I add a link or an image in HTML content, the email doesn't go through. I tried sending in multipart format but it is also not sending HTML with images and links. Here is my attempt:
                                    props.setProperty("mail.transport.protocol", "smtp");
                                     props.setProperty("mail.host", "mail.server.com");
                                     props.setProperty("mail.user", "joeuser");
                                     Session mailSession = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
                                     mailSession.setDebug(true);
                                     Transport transport = mailSession.getTransport();
                                     MimeMultipart mp = new MimeMultipart("alternative");
                                     MimeBodyPart htmlPart = new MimeBodyPart();
                                     MimeBodyPart textPart = new MimeBodyPart();
                                     textPart.setText("Just to make it multipart");
                                     htmlPart.setHeader("MIME-Version", "1.0");
                                     htmlPart.setHeader("Content-Type", htmlPart.getContentType());
                                     htmlPart.setContent(strHtmlMessage, "text/html");
                                     mp.addBodyPart(textPart);
                                     mp.addBodyPart(htmlPart);
                                     MimeMessage message = new MimeMessage(mailSession);
                                     message.setHeader("MIME-Version", "1.0");
                                     message.setHeader("Content-Type", mp.getContentType());
                                     message.setHeader("X-Mailer", "Recommend-It Mailer V2.03c02");
                                     message.setContent(mp);
                                     message.setSubject(strSubject);
                                     message.setFrom(new InternetAddress("[email protected]"));
                                     message.addRecipient(Message.RecipientType.TO,
                                             new InternetAddress("[email protected]"));
                                             transport.connect();
                                             transport.sendMessage(message,
                                             message.getRecipients(Message.RecipientType.TO));
                                     transport.close();This code is one of my numerous attempts to make HTML send images and links. Please, let me know if there is a workaround way to make JavaMail send HTML with links and images in the message body. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    The JavaMail FAQ has information on creating HTML messages, including
    messages with both plain text and HTML. Did you find it?
    BTW, your code has many unnecessary statements, such as setting
    the Mime-Version header, which JavaMail will do for you, and setting
    the Content-Type header, which JavaMail does as a side-effect of the
    setContent or setText calls.
    Other than that, it looks like your code should be correctly creating a
    multipart/alternative message. If the recipient is still rejecting it you
    need to figure out what it is about the message that makes the recipient
    think it's spam. Can you send a similar message using another mailer?
    Can you send the message to a different recipient?

  • HTML Report with images in LabVIEW 6.1

    I am generating an HTML report in LabVIEW 6.1 with an image. When I
    save the html file to disk, two files are saved, the report and the
    image. The report has the name I specified but the image does not.
    It is not readily apparent that the two are related. As a result,
    when I try and e-mail or move the report, the image gets left behind.
    Is there a way to embed the image file in the report? Or what is the
    best way to associate these two files so they can be e-mailed
    together?
    Tim Erickson
    Signature Control Systems

    Tim,
    Unfortunately, HTML does not include images.
    A suggestion would be to create a GIF image, or to put everything in a zip file, or something to that effect.
    I had to work with HTML documentation for LabVIEW, and actually used LabVIEW to substitute the images for control types with words, such that images were not required. You can try this if your images are nothing more than representations for which text can be substituted.
    Alternatively, if your image is something like a graph, or the front panel, I might suggest creating a .gif or .jpg image out of it. This has to be done manually, but will make the page one single file.
    Good luck, I hope that helps.

  • Dynamic text box, HTML Text with Image

    Hello Everyone,
    I am using Flash version 8. I have used the text tool and
    created a dynamic text box and have attached the UIScrollBar
    component to it. This text box is configured to allow the use of
    html text to be inputted to it. I have code that reads a file which
    contains a list of text files that I then read and place them into
    the text box. The user can use the scroll bar to scroll through all
    the text.
    I have created an image that is a picture of the tab portion
    of a file folder. On the tab I have place some text. This was all
    done in Photoshop. This tab image is used to separate the different
    stories in the text box. The image is save as a jpeg file
    Everything you have just read works with out any problems.
    Now for the problem!
    This image is only 20 pixels tall and the text is not very
    readable. As we all know the HTML tags are very limited in Flash 8.
    Ideally I would like to put the text and image in to the text
    box as I would normally do. Then place text on top of the image and
    have it all scroll properly with in the text box.
    I have taken the tab image and converted it in to a graph
    symbol and then put the text on top of the image. This looks good;
    however I don’t know how (or if it is even possible) to place
    the graphic symbol in to the text box at the correct place within
    the text.
    Does anyone have ideas on what may work? Remember that the
    image I am working with is only 20 pixels tall which is why the
    text quality on the image is so poor.
    Thank you all for any help you may provide,
    Steve

    Yes Tim I am using the <img> tag and I know that I
    can’t place text over the image. I have set the height and
    width to be the exact size of the image. However When you go to the
    webpage it will open the movie to the maximum size based on the
    resolution of your display; however I do maintain the aspect ratio
    of the movie. For testing I did set a fix size to the size of the
    movie. Sometimes the fix size (1000x750) looks better and sometimes
    a larger size (example 1280x1024). I believe that the main problem
    is the fact the size of the image is 670 pixels wide by 25 pixels
    high and of the 25 pixels the text is only 18 pixels tall. In
    Photoshop this makes it about a 1.75 point font. As you can see the
    real problem is that I don’t have enough pixels to make up
    the text. This is why I am looking for an alterative way to create
    the text.
    I tried importing the image into flash as a graphic symbol
    and then using the text tool to create the text. The results looked
    real sharp, the text was nice and crisp (just what I wanted). The
    problem is that I could not find a way to place the graphic symbol
    into the dynamic text area like id did using the <img> tag.
    This symbol needs to scroll as you scroll the text in the text
    area.
    This is why I am asking for help. I am looking for some ideas
    that may work.
    Thank you,
    Steve

    Hi Ashish,
    If I have understood your requirement properly, u want to
    display html text on a flex application.
    I think there its better if you use the html component to
    display the text. I have a sample code which will give you a
    direction to think on.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <mx:Application
    xmlns:mx="
    http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
    layout="vertical"
    creationComplete="initApp( )">
    <mx:Script>
    <![CDATA[
    public function initApp( ):void
    var initHtml:String = "<html><head> \
    <title='Page Example'/> \
    <body bgcolor='#ccddee'><h1>Page
    Example</h1> \
    <p>This is a complete <b>HTML</b> \
    page as a
    <em>string</em>.</p></html></body>";
    this.html.htmlText = initHtml;
    ]]>
    </mx:Script>
    <mx:HTML id="html" width="100%" height="100%" />
    </mx:Application>
    Also do you want a file open dialog box??

  • Having a problem with image IO and drawing image

    My question did not come out on the other posting. I am getting them image from a JPanel. I then convert the image into a renderedimage. Use the ImageIO.write method to convert to png format. I don't want to save the image on the local disk so it is writted to a ByteArrayOutputStream. I get the bytes from this and insert this into a blob field type.
    Then to paint the image onto the JPanel I try two methods to paint it on to the JPanel. I set the JPanel to be the width and size of the image. But I am getting a null pointer exception and I can't figure out why. If anyone could give me any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
    rImage = convertToRenderedImage(draw.drawPanel.offScreen, width11, drawPanelHeight, type);
    try{
    bo = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    ImageIO.write(rImage, "png", bo);
    imageBytes = bo.toByteArray();
    }catch(IOException iox3)
    System.err.println(iox3);
    PreparedStatement statement12 = connection.prepareStatement(
    "INSERT INTO feed VALUES(?,?,?,?,?,?);");
    statement12.setBytes(2, imageBytes);
    icon = new ImageIcon(rs.getBytes("file"));
    image = icon.getImage();
    //base is the JPanel
    Graphics g2d = base.getGraphics();
    bytes = rs.getBytes("file");
    bInput = new ByteArrayInputStream(bytes);
    try
    bImage = ImageIO.read(bInput);
    catch(IOException e21)
    System.out.println("Error in imageIO transformation");
    //image is Image and bimage is bufferedimage
    image = bImage;
    Graphics g2d = base.getGraphics();
    g2d.drawImage(image, 0, 0, base);
    g2d.drawImage(image, 0, 0, base);

    Would it be possible for you to send out a small runnable testcase that I could try out with?
    Thanks,

  • Having a problem with images on Mac/Safari

    Hi!
    I got a Mac in March of this year, and I love it! But ever since I first got it, I've been having this problem. You see, about 4 days in, I started making audiorecordings on my Mac, and since then I've noticed a bit of a stuttering. Images are slower to download, and pages (i.e. new pages, when I click on a link) are sometimes a little slow to upload. Can you tell me what's behind this?

    No i did call them & they told me to take out the sim card & then put it back in but that didn't work. Everytime i get searching on my phone the carrier on the phone goes missing. I don't know what else to do.

  • Storing html along with images in database as Blob

    Hi,
    I have an html in which some images are embedded using image tags.Now I want to store this HTML as BLOB object such that both are stored in the same location, so that they can be retrieved using a jsp.
    Right now when I store the HTML, it gets properly displayed using jsp but the images are not displayed as images are stored locally.
    Can anyone suggest some approach for this?

    First of all, please excuse me about my por english.
    Some points to consider:
    1- I think you may have some issues understanding HTML. HTML only refers to images locations you cannot "put" immages "into" HTML.
    2- I supose you get the HTML as a String ad persists it on the DB. To get the images you must find the img tags in that string, get the src property and upload images individually.
    3- If you must store both HTML and images in the same BLOB field you have some problems, i think it could be fun to build something to do that, but not efficient. I sugest to use another field, another table really (1 to * relationship), to store images.
    4- When you display the HTML at your web server you must set the src attributes form de img tags pointig to some servlet that get the images form the DB, for example.
    I hope it helps you to understand the nature of your requeriment.
