Mail login in error

Hi all,
I am new to to the e-mail sdk and i am trying to login using :

     c_user CONSTANT VARCHAR2(80) := '[email protected]';
c_password CONSTANT VARCHAR2(80) := 'we1come';
c_ldaphost CONSTANT VARCHAR2(80) := '10.2.1.251';
c_ldapport CONSTANT NUMBER := 389;
session_id NUMBER;
my_folders MAIL_FOLDER_LIST;
inbox_obj MAIL_FOLDER_OBJ;
message_list MAIL_MESSAGE_LIST;
msg_subject VARCHAR2(255);
msg_from VARCHAR2(255);
msg_sent_date VARCHAR2(20);
BEGIN
--login
     mail_session.login(c_user, c_password, c_ldaphost, session_id, c_ldapport);
end;
and I get the message
error 20211: LDAP login error;
ora 6512 : at ES_MAIL.MAIL_SESSION
ora 6512 at line 21
Do I have the correct value formats in my variables at all?

Hi,
You should use OID username.
for eg, if your domain name is mydomain and username is xxx.
then c_user should be xxx not [email protected]
and also better avoid . (dot) and other special characters when you create
user name.
eg
mail_session.login('xxx', c_password, c_ldaphost, session_id, c_ldapport);
Make sure that you have created OID and mail user account for this user.
