Make only few columns drag-able/movable

I have a requirement where, in a report, I need to make only few columns dragable/movable and the first 3-4 columns as fixed.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Try Hiding that columns which you don't need.

Try to use "corresponding" statement.
SELECT field1 field1 etc FROM zshipment01 *INTO CORRESPONDING FIELD OF TABLE* gi_zshipment01.

How to make only one column non reorderble

I want to make only one column (Column 0) of my JTable non reorderble.
I also want to make the same column non resizable and I want to give it a specific size.
Please help me on this?

I have implemented a RowHeaderTable class which displays 1, 2, 3, ... in the first column. The column is in the scrollpane's RowHeaderView, so it is not resizable nor reorderable. But its width can be set in your code. Maybe this is what you need.
Use the class the same way you use a JTable, except 3 added methods:
getScrollPane();
setMinRows(int r);
setRowHeaderWidth(int w);
Note: The table works perfectly in skinless L&F, such as the default java L&F. It looks ugly in Liquid L&F because I don't know how to steal column header's UI to use on a JList. If someone can help me on this one, I thank you in advance.

Make few columns of Excel file read only when downloaded

Hi Experts,
Is there any way we can set few of the columns in excel sheet as read only when downloaded from SAP.
We have requirement where a program will generate a report and download it into an excel file on desktop. When the file is downloaded, two of its columns should be non editable.
I know complete sheet of excel can be protected using OLE, can we protect few columns also using OLE?

I know how to create a .dat and .ctl file and run the sql loader.

Retrieve SharePoint List Item version with few columns only

How to retrieve the version history of the list item in just a few columns just like what we can do with viewfields in spquery which return list item?
Having performance problem when using splistitem.versions in a big list. When I show only the latest version, the page load much faster.

According to your post, my understanding is that you had an issue about the version history.
I couldn’t reproduce the issue in my environment, and I don’t think it’s a known issue.
Per my knowledge, the version history contains information about when the item or file was changed, who changed it, and information about what was changed. In libraries, the version history might also contain comments written by the people who made changes.
As you had said, you had seen an update to the value of the new column, did you see who changed it ? Maybe some had changed it.
Could you reproduce the issue use the other lists? You can check with other lists to see whether it works.
To quickly and accurately find the issue, I recommend you check with the ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

How to make few columns of single record inactive in Table conrol?

Hi all,
Scenario is like this : i have one table control , it is displaying 10 records , in that first four columns are editable. Now my requirement is, whenever record having intial values( suppose one record having initial values among ten) except key field , we need to deactive that particular record , now table control should contain ten records , but nine records are in editable state and one record in non editable state .
How to make few columns of single record inactive in Table conrol?

hi there...
select the column that u want to convert to non editable mode in the screen layout. then double click on it. go to the attributes tab and uncheck the input chk box. the check box will become disabled for input. u can do this for any number of columns.
if u want to do it dyanamically, loop at screen. check for the screen element's name. when itmatches the column u want to disable, simply set the input value as 0.
dont forget to modify sscreen after setting the attribute values.

Is the problem with the Bookmarks Sidebar -- the one you can open and close by pressing Ctrl+b? It does seem to have a minimum width and won't get narrower than that, but I'm not sure whether you are running into that limitation or whether for some reason you are not getting the resizing arrow when you mouse over the thin border between the sidebar and the page.

Make interactive report column uppercase

Hi All,
I have an interactive report in which I have a field which has a column link defined on it. Clicking this link allows me to go to the next interactive report.
I would like to display the data in this column as UPPERCASE. I have tried modifying the report query by applying the
UPPER function to the column. (i.e. select column a, column b, UPPER (column c)) but it broke the links in my report. I had to recreate this link manually after and was afraid i had broken my application. I was able to fix this.
I know that this can be done through modifying the CSS template for the report region, but my HTML and CSS skills are pretty basic. So far, the only way i am able to make the data in this column appear uppercase is to have all the data in this column uppercase in the database table itself. If data is entered in this column in lowercase, the problem will resurface and my data will not appear as uppercase.
Any suggestions as to what modification i would have to make and where in order to make this column display its data UPPERCASE?

In general, changing the query shouldn't break things. Perhaps Apex saw the modification as changing the column name. A quick check would be to try SQL like:
select column1, column2, Upper(column3) as column3, ...If that doesn't work, we may need more info on how this report is set up and how the links are working.

How to Remove totals on few columns from SEM BPS layout

On SEM BPS layout it has 10 5 charatestics columns
and 10 key figure columns.
out of these key figures I want see totals on some
coulmns and for few columns I do not want to see totals.
for wxample it does not make sense of seeing total under
the salary incrase percentage coulmn.
Please suggest anyway we can remove total for some
columns on the layout

Hey, thanks -- everything worked as you described. It never would have occurred to me that the "put back" button refers to the browser selection not the layout selection, for reasons I give below.
I think Aperture exhibits some conceptual confusion here. First of all, a "light table" is created by the New > Light Table command, and you add images to the newly created light table just as you would add them to an album. But those images don't go on the light table layout until you drag them from the browser to the layout table. The "put back" button and "remove from light table" contextual menu command both mean remove from the layout. The phrasing of the contextual menu command make it sounds as if it will remove the clicked image from the light table's collection of images, like removing an image from an album -- it would have made more sense to name this command "put back". Furthermore, the "put back" button is above the layout display, not above the browser, which to me implies that it applies to selections in the layout display. To select an image in the browser, and click "put back selected" seems backwards -- if you just selected the image in the browser, your attention is focused on the browser, not the layout; from the browser's point of view, the button should read "bring back" not "put back".
The documentation didn't really help when I was trying to figure this out. Sometimes the Aperture documentation refers to just a "light table", as on the overview on page 732. On pages 733 and 734, though, it refers to a "light table album". On page 735 of the Aperture manual there is a very brief explanation of how "to add images to the light table" and "to remove an image from the light table". Here, "light table" refers to the layout not the album. The explanation of the "Put Back Selected" button says to select an image then click the button, and the picture shown is of an image selected in the layout, not in the browser.

Insert only specified columns

Should it be possible to insert the few columns from XML file into the database?
I have 100 columns in the xml file, but i want only 10 columns and the xml file into to be inserted into database.

Not sure what exactly is your requirement. so is it something like this you are looking for.

But you won't be able to do anything once you store it in this way.
Instead if you store it in XMLTYPE, you can still qery the contents from the column.

The sheet I am working on has lost the ability for me to scroll to the first few columns. I can't see the columns but I can cut and paste them so I know they are still there. Has this happened to others

I can't see the columns A & B but if I cut and paste the table to a new sheet, the columns I am missing will travel to the new sheet. I have charts and other stuff related the the original table so I need to figure out why I can only see from column C forward. I tried to "UNHIDE" the columns but the function doesn't seem to recognise that there are columns missing. Has this happened to others and how did you fix it?

I've seen it happen before, or at least it sounds something like what I've seen before. The table somehow gets into the margins of the page and the app doesn't know how to deal with it. Go into Print View and try moving the table away from the left side ofthe page. You might have to change content size or resize the table to get it to correct (then put you can put them back the way you like).

ALV List only 80 Columns when runinning as background job

Hello Guys,
I have a Problem with an ALV List.
We use the FM REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY for a Document Journal.
When I run it in foreground it works fine. But when I view the spool in background the list makes a break at excactly 80 signs, but the line size should be about 120.
In the report the Line-Size is set correctly, even the print parameters seem to be ok. We are running it with X_65_255.
I saw that there are some SAP Notes to this topic, but on our release (SAP_BASIS 700) the notes are already implemented.
Has anyone a solution to this topic?
