I have a pcd role as shown below.

Along with this, I want to mention that it is EP 7.4. And I have tries by changing the property 'Clicking folder name launches first node' to false, but no effect.
I want the role to open with Page 2 as the first screen.
But it is not working.

In Finder, click once on an Excel document then Get Info (command i)
Choose Open with: Numbers
Then Change All... to make Numbers the app for all Excel documents.
The same for Word and Powerpoint

You need to check and make sure there is at least one row in the table before you do this, otherwise exception will throw.

How can I make PLAY button be selected by default in top menu?

Hi, I usually have the PLAY button and all the scene selection buttons show up in the same top menu on my DVD's. Is there a way to have the PLAY button be the one that is initially selected when the DVD starts up. In other words, I don't want people to have to scroll the various buttons on the menu to get to the PLAY button. I want it to be selected by default, so all they have to do is hit the PLAY button on their remote control to start the movie.

I think Robert was referring to the triangular play button on the simulator control panel rather than the button on his menu marked 'Play'...
Robert - the 'Enter' button (or your 'Return' key on your keyboard) are the only ways you'll get the simulator to begin to play your project. The Triangular play button is for when you are in a motion menu or track and you pause and re-start playback, and isn't used to select entries on the menu. When you start a track, note how the triangular play button becomes a pause button when the track starts running, and it is no longer greyed out... if you click it, you'll see the triangle return and also not be greyed out.

How can i make an external Hard drive default for iphoto

I have maxed out my memory on my MacBook with iPhoto 09. I have been trying to export photos to an external HD and then make the external HD my default drive for future photo downloads from my camera. Also, I need to clean off space on the internal HD, but not sure of the safest way to do this and make sure I don't loose any photos. Any tips to move forward? I am a Mac novice to say the least.

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

How to make a custom template the default for Apple Mail (10.7.5)?

Hi,
I'm OK with making a new custom template in Apple Mail. It shows up fine once under "custom" in the stationary pane (and once I take off signature in a new email). But... that's a lot of trouble to go through everytime I want to send an email.
So the question is: can I make my custom template my default for all my emails, unless I want to manually change it? Seems like this should be possible but I can't figure it out and haven't run into any solutions (only on how to make a template).
Do I really have to select it each time?

As an FYI: I just solved the problem by going the "low road." I'll be a bit laborious in case someone else wants a solution at a later date (I know I Googled the topic and found nothing). I experimented by simply:
Opening a new email message
Selecting my custom template
Copying the custom signature (Select All)
Opening another new email message
Selecting Edit on the Signature pulldown menu
Hitting the plus symbol to create/add a new signature in the pane
Pasting into the new signature
Naming it
Selecting "Choose signature" at the bottom of the signatures pane
And violà!!
It now appears as a possible selection *and* as the default.
Better yet - it is now my default and will work as a reply to an email.
I think I got it all right in the list above.
OK, granted, this is a pretty simply signature - a list of my website, SoundCloud, twitter etc with those names in bold and a graphic of my color logo - but... it works! YMMV.
Give it to Apple to make it so simple that any fool could do it (that would be me), you wouldn't need a "specialized" app, and - of course - there wouldn't even be instructions on how to do it!

By these values I would like to make a new selection-screen whith following:

Next time the internal table can contain

And the parameters should then be:

So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

Getting the first option selected by default in a dropdown

Hi all,
I am using a dropdown within a form. I am populating the dropdown using the values I retrieved from the database by making use of for loop. Now, I have to make the first option selected as default. Also, I have to make use of the value in the drop down to retrieve further data without calling the form handler.
To be more clear, While displaying the page for the first time the first option should be shown as selected and the associated contents of the first option should be displayed by default.
Please help me in this.

What part are you having trouble with? reading out the resultset, or building the html code. Do you have anything coded yet.

How to make a JPanel selectable

When extending a JPanel and overriding the paintComponent() method the custom JPanel can not be selected so that it gets for example KeyEvents.
But if I make the new Class extend a JButton it gets of course selected and able to receive for example KeyEvents.
My question is therefore; what does the JButton implement that a JPanel doesn’t so that a JButton gets selectable? Or in other words; how to make a JPanel selectable?

How can I select the default greeting for a voicemail for the iPhone 4s?

I am wanting to set up the voicemail feature for my iPhone 4s. (I have had this phone for years but never enacted a voicemail!) However, I am having trouble. When I click on the phone settings in my phone, the only options I have in regards to voicemail is to set up or change the password. I am not given the option to set up a voicemail. Whenever I try to set up the voicemail by dialing *86, I am given only the options of changing my password or to set up a custom greeting. I am not able to select the default/standard greeting as it is not mentioned. I am wondering how I can go about this. I am not sure why I don't have the options already available in my phone automatically or why it is not provided as an option when I call to set it up.
Any help with this?

nnd217, Help is here! The 4S is a great device, sorry to learn that you are having trouble with setting up the VM default greeting. I should be able to shed some light on this situation. If you go to your phone icon, as if you were making a call, you should see the voicemail icon down at the bottom right. Once you select that, in the upper left corner there is an option that says Greeting, so ahead and select that. From there you have two choices, default and Customer. If you select default there will be a check mark in that box, then hit save. You should now have your default greeting in place. FREE check box in PO should be selected by default for specific material

We have a check box FREE in PO creation - ME21N in the item row which is selected when ever we want the vendor to supply those items as free.
- I have a list ot items which are supplied freely by the vendor which I have to mention in the PO. My requirment is when ever the specific material is in the PO the FREE check box should be selected by default. Is it possible?

Hi Vengal Rao,
I don't think there's such flag in the material master. As far as I know any material can be supplied either free or chargeable - the buyer has to choose the applicable option it in each specific PO.
If however in your business case certain materials shall always be supplied as free, then you can use the BAdI that I mentioned above to analyse which material is being procured and set the FREE flag in the PO accordingly.
