Making textbox visible when checkbox marked

Hi, I have Textbox child and a Checkbox child with context of type boolean. I made a TextboxVISIBLE context of type Visibility and binded it to "enabling" option of Textbox. Now how can i bind it checkbox with textbox so once I mark checkbox the Textbox appears, unmarked dissapears. Regards, Balmer.

Checkbox should have an action "onToggle" associated with it.

In Firefox 34, you have changed the search bar.
The new style is perfect for those who always starts by typing in, letter for letter, the search term.
People such as myself, we almost never type in the search term,
but instead we mark a [word] in a text, right-click this marked [word], then select "Search [engine x] for [word]".
Speaking for myself, I have now a total of 36 search engine providers, but I usually only use 7 of those.
I use "Wikipedia (English)" most of the time..
- but then I will switch to e.g. "AniDB" and use that one for 1 hour..
- or switch to "Google" and use that one for 30 minutes..
- or switch to "Wikipedia (Norwegian)" and use that one for 2 hours..
- or switch to "Wiktionary (English)" and use that one for 15 minutes..
..and then I will switch back to "Wikipedia (English)" again.
The way the search bar was in Firefox 33 and earlier, I could very easily switch the default search engine.
Just one click to open the drop-down menu, then choose one.
In Firefox 34, I have to choose "Tools" -> "Options", the "Search" tab..
- before I can THEN click to open the drop-down menu.
4 clicks instead of 1, that's like 400% more work..!
Also, the fact that I have to go into "Options".. make this..
..I don't know how to put it, it's a kind of psychological barrier that I have to overcome each time.
I mean, before Firefox 34, I went to the "Options" window like maybe 4 times each YEAR,
now, I have to go there 4 times each DAY..!
I am not saying you should revert to the old style Search bar,
as I feel that those you are typing search terms are indeed very happy for this new style..
Instead, I think of 2 possible ways to create happiness also for us that do mark text and choose "Search.."
1) An "on-the-fly change search engine" option ALSO for when we mark [word] in a text, then right-click, then choose "Search [engine x] for [word]".
This could work as a cascading menu option, where it says..
Search for [word] in -> [engine x]
..and where [engine x] was the current default engine, and all the other engines was listed underneath,
just like the drop-down menu when you switch the default engine.
Additionally, you could have an on / off checkbox in the "Options" "Search" tab, where you had this option:
"Change default search engine when choosing another from the drop-down menu"
THIS would actually be PERFECT.. It would be even much BETTER than in Firefox 33 and earlier..! :-)
2) If there are things with the first option that don't work (something I've missed etc),
then maybe you could have an on / off checkbox in the "Options" "Search" tab, where you had this option:
"Use old-style search bar"
This would be off by default, but when switched on, it would give us the old Firefox 33 style Search bar.

Problem making buttons visible

Hi there, I have a poker game that all worked fine until I was told to restructure it in a MVC style. I never had this problem before I changed it but I'm having issues with making my buttons visible when it's the players turn. At first I setVisible to false which works fine, then I call my method to display them from my model and they display fine, so seemings as all is good to here I think it's the next bit that's causing my issue, I have actionListeners attached that when fired setsVisible on all the buttons to false again (which works) but the next time I call my method to make certain buttons visible they don't appear. I've tested that the method is being called with the correct parameter passed and it is. Now I must apologise because my knowledge of swing is very poor but I have searched and read alot and tried several approaches with no joy, I will definitly be studying up more on it in the future but time is against me at the mo. The only thing that seems to half work is if I use this.paint(g) the buttons display as I want them but my program crashes cos to be honest I don't know what g should be. Is this the right approach or is there a more simple way I can update my GUI to display my buttons?

Works for me but you could try to add a revalidate(); repaint(); on the buttons parent.

Check box only visible when data is entered in two other fields

My form has a table in which one column's cells are check boxes. I would like the check boxes to be only visible when both the quantity and unit price cells are filled out.
If I use the following script to hide the checkbox, it becomes my Amount??? which is the column right next to it.

I am putting the script in the initialize event of the table.

The initialize event only fires once the form is opend, not afterwards when the fields values are changed.
You need another event such as layoutReady.

Insert statement in when-checkbox-checked trigger doesn't work

in a when-checkbox-checked trigger, I wrote the follwing code :

if the checkbox is checked, I assigned value '1' to day_id. Then, I want to insert a row into table SCHTM. But, the insert statement fail. The msg_alert '2' pop up. The msg_alert 'end insert schtm' does not pop up, meaning the insert statement fail. It also fail after I replace the insert statement with the exact value of the item. But if I execute this statement in SQL plus, it insert a row into the database.
What is strange here is it did work before, I successfully insert 2 rows into database. But when I test it again just a while later, it never work anymore.

It seems that you have missed ELSE. By the way there is only one INSERT ...

Problem with WHEN-CHECKBOX-CHANGED and ON-POPULATE-DETAILS

I have a detail block with a relationship set up to a second block. In my first block, if I cause an error but the next action I take is to press a checkbox on another record, my error will display and the raise form trigger failure is triggered but the checkbox changes it's value and the cursor is displayed on the record with the error. I didn't want the checkbox to change if an error occurred. I tracked this through the trace and saw the on-populate-details is fired between the error and the when-checkbox-changed trigger. I went through debug and saw because of the erorr, the system will do a 'return' back to the sending action. I beleive this return is causing the when-checkbox-changed to fire. I'm just guessing here. I tried a similar action on another form without a relationship set up. That would eliminate the on-populate-details trigger. When I did a similar error, I got exactly what I was looking for. I caused the error but pressed the checkbox on another record. The error displayed but the checkbox did not change and the cursor returned to the error record. I need the record to have this relationship. Consequently, I need the on-populate-details trigger. Can anyone think of a solution? I'm currently on Forms 6I. We are going to forms 10G in the next few months. But I really need a solution on my current set up. Thanks.

The getNextDatabankRecord() call is at the beginning of my run code. I use one step just for this line code.

Attachment option is not visible when sending an email through aol.com.

When you are composing an email tap at the location you want to insert a photo or video. The option to insert comes up. Tap on that and select the photo or video you wish to insert.
Alternately you can use the Photos app and select up to five photos to insert into an email. Tap select, select the photos and then tap the Share icon. Select Mail and an email will be created. You can then address the email, add a subject and type in content.
To attach other things like a PDF, Word Doc, etc. you need to use the app that creates or edit seize items. Again select the item you want to email and tap on the Share icon in the appropriate app.

Field not visible when uploading the file in application ser

Hi,
I have added a new field at the end of a structure and When i upload the data in the application server it is not visible there. The new field length is 30chars(say field 'A') and the one just before this one is 250 chars(say field 'B'). When i reduce the length of field 'B' to 30 chars or 40 chars the value which i populated in field 'A' is visble in the output file.
Since the complete file was not visible in AL11 transaction, i used the CG3Y tcode as well to download the data to presentation server so that i can view the complete file. Even after downlaoding in presentation server the new field value is not visible.
Can anyone please suggest why is the value in field 'A' not visible when the length of field 'B' is 250 chars? Also, how can i display the value of the new field in the application server.I cannot change the layout of the structure as per the requirement. Any help will be very useful.

-ok, lets go step by step. how did you upload the file?
-after uploading the file check the file in OS level(goto SM69, execute CAT, in additional parameter (not in parameter) give the full path (case sensitive), execute. ). here you can see the actual content of the file... check you data is present or not
-which structure are you using to download and upload? a temp work area.. then please provide the WA details, so that i can try on my system.

one more thing: regarding AL11, it can read upto length 510 characters. check program RSWATCH0 form SHOW_FILE. here the read dataset into butffer is 510 characters.

PDF form data not visible when opened in Illustrator CS5

I've been searching the forums but have been unable to find an answer to my specific problem.
I've created a form using Adobe Acrobat Pro. The PDF form fields are then populated with data via Netsuite. When I open the PDF (with data) in Acrobat all of the information shows up, however when I open the PDF in Illustrator CS5 the field data is not visible. Is there a way to force the data to be visible when opened in Illustrator?

You could try first flattenening the fields. This converts the field appearances to regular page contents. You can do this with JavaScript, PDF Optimizer, or a Preflight fixup.

Updating users profile when infoobject marked as authorization relevant

Consider a scenario where there are some projects in which perticuler infoobject is not authorization relevant but in some upcomming project the same infoobject needs to be authorization relevant.but when i marked this infoobject as authorization relevant then i need to manually insert this new authorization infoobject in each user profile. If there are more than 200 users available then it is not very good idea to include this infoobject in each profile manually. Is there any other way through which we can insert this infoobject in all user profile automatically.

Now when you run this program you'll be prompted for 3 parameters.
The first is a list of Analysis Authorizations names that you wish to change.

The third is a list of values that will be inserted for those InfoObject.
Therefore imagine that for authorization ZZZA, ZZZB and ZZZC you want to insert the object 0CUSTOMER with the values xpto, yyyy, and wwww.
You would in this case run the program with the following parameters:
