Hi all,
I have an app that record the user's voice, each time in one
different file
adding an index to the end of the file name.
rec_tom1.flv, rec_tom2.flv....
I'm having some problems trying to recover this names
I need to know if it's possible list this recorded files
using a dynamic
page. I have a web host at host A that will have an asp page
pointing to my
FMS host B, this page will list the flies and return it to my
flash app,
then I 'll load this in a list box.
in the dynamic page at some point I'll need the PATH to the
FMS server....
this is where thigns fail....
I've tried to point using as path the "rtmp + account name"
without success.
So, I need to know if first this is possible, then if so, try
to figure out
the correct path to it.

Central comes with predefined tasks PGCNTGET and PGCNTSET (see below). Create a job that includes both thses JFMERGE steps. PGCNTGET will run through the job, count pages and direct output to -zNUL. PGCNTSET will run through the job again and this time have the number of pages stored in variable @pagecount and direct the output to -z@PhysicalDev
If you create a data field PAGES on your template you can pass this into the field:

Page @$PAGE. of @PAGECOUNT

Something seems to get added to the form action because of "http". Hence I am removing it.
You need to write a procedure with the values in the as parameters. Say for example you want to insert a record into dept

I have been trying to creating a MD form using dynamic page and I haven't fiqured it out. I need help. You both advised me on creating a simple form using dynamic page. The complexity changes drastically when I have to create a MD form. Has no body ever tried to create a MD form with dynamic page?
I haven't heard from you anything either. I am stuck with this and I need help urgently. Would you kindly tell me if this is possible and how ? Otherwise, I will stop crying for help on this.

You want to just use Dropbox until the dust settles. To use it from iWork for iOS (assuming you have the Dropbox app installed on your device), open the document in Keynote (for example), tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), choose Open in Another App, choose Keynote as your format, then choose Open in Dropbox and you will get an option to save it to your Dropbox account. To open it from Dropbox in iWork for iOS, open the document in the Dropbox app, tap the share icon, tap Open in Keynote (for example). It's a bit clunky, but works.

Using .js file in dynamic page

In 9.02 i created a portal dynamic page. I would like to include .js file (overlib.js). Can you do this?
I have tried using the "src=" but it did not work.
If I try to include the .js code directly in the dynamic page, I get an error. I assume it is a size limitation.
Help.

Great questions, Rik, and I understand how this might seem bizarre. Here's the story... these 2500 files were authored with a built-in authoring tool of our current knowledge management system. This KMS is about to be replaced with a new one and because the new KMS needs content within the <head> tag instead of where it was in the <body> tag and redefined as meta data, I repuposed the content in those files using Dreamweaver and regular expressions. However, the one remaining <h3> and <p> content is in the middle of the newly tagged meta data and it must be moved from the <head> area and into the <body> area.
Because these were authored in the built-in KMS authoring tool, there is no style sheet and no, we do not manage our content with a CMS.
You are correct, if the <h3> and <p> were at the end of the data, I could simply move the </head> and <body> tags, but unfortunately that is not the case. They are consistenly in the same place in all 2500 files, but in the middle of the data. Following is an example:

Just a quick query. I'm trying to use dynamic headers/footers and I've read
the notes on:

But, I later found that this fails when the method is a GET and the query-string is null and when the method is a POST. I need all GETs and POSTs starting with "/dynamic" to have it stripped and "restarted". So, I modified my original config to make POSTs work. So now I have the following code:

Spool SQl data into text file using dynamic sql

I am spooling output data into text file using command

here mxname varchar(128),lxtype(128),mxrev(128) all are of varchar type.I want the output in format
e.g Part|1211121313|A
but due to column width the output,I am getting is with spaces.
"Part then blank spaces |1211121313 then blank spaces |A"
how can I remove these spaces between columns.I used set space 0 but not working.

I am trying spool more than 50 columns from a table into flat file. Because of more column lengths in few columns, i am getting space. There are so many columns with the same issue. I want to remove that space.so that, data can fit perfectly in one line in .txt file without any wrap text.

Error in uploading excel file using Java pages

Hello,
We are using oracle ERP (R12.1.1) and we have developed one JSP page to upload an excel.
After selecting the excel and browse button is clicked we are gettign the OLE stream error when the excel file is .csv or .xlsx. There is no issue with .xls excel files. For loading the excel data to custom table we are using the "jxl-2.6.jar".
Can we get higher version of "jxl-2.6.jar to support CSV upload?

Proxy to file using dynamic configuration

Hi Frnds,
I have a scenario ABAP_Proxy-XI-File, here in the proxy I am getting a pdf file with xml as attachment now I need to save the pdf file to the target folder with the name availble in one of the fields of attached xml file.
I have used Adapter specific attributes option for filename substitution but getting the follwoing error:
Attempt to process file failed with com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: The Adapter Message Property 'FileName' was configured as mandatory element, but there is no 'DynamicConfiguration' element in the XI Message header
Please anyone can help me in overcoming this issue.

U have a limitation here. At XI u can read only 1 file (pdf or xml). Bcoz receiver file adapter will not support attachment. pdf is required bcoz u need to transfer it to receiver. Xml is also required bcoz the directory name is inside that xml
The workaround could be creating an adpater module that passes the directory name as well. U should send pdf file with xml as attachment.
If u have the dir name, then the dynamic configuration code should be like this

I have one extract(ABAP program) in my R/3 system which creates a extract files.
Considering very huge size of the files and then further delay in processing the same , is there a way to create small size files with delta extraction of records in each file? how to achieve this using ABAP code , for example, considering the date and time stamp etc?

as of i know the delta load is nothing but the what are all the changes are made for the data that all can get by using the date or time .
full load means get the all the data from the database.

How do I manage music files using iTunes in the iCloud?

HW: HP laptop running win 7 and itunes 10.6.3.25; home sharing is on; itunes match is on;
iPhone 4S w/iTunes; itunes wifi sync will use the hp laptop; itunes match is on; use cellular data is on sho all music is on; auto downloads for music is on; icloud says 4.1 gb available
I have about 1000 music files on my pc
I spent 3 hours sending them all to itunes match
now I have:
     duplicate tune files on my phone
     files on my pc that lost their track/artist info and now appear as Track 1 (2,3,etc)
          i have listened to all of these and renamed them manually
     music files that were on my phone are now missing
     music files that were shipped on my pc that I never played/wanted are on my phone
In addition, I used to be able to select and play music from "music" on the phone through the radio in my car. Now, the selected music only plays through the phone speaker, while, at the same time, the radio starts playing the entire library in alphabetical order from the first song title.
This is a nightmare.
How do I delete unwanted tunes from my iPhone? How do I get everything to match up? How do I wipe all the music from my phone and my laptop so I can just start over?

iphone is connected via usb to pc and they are on the same wireless network
itunes on the pc occasionally freezes/loses the iphone (it disappears from the device list)/says it does not recognize the iphone
all device, app, and os updates have been run in the last week.
All of this misery started on Tuesday--i spent 3 hours on the phone with an apple tech to step me through the match process, and didn't discover all the problems until a few hours later.

Is it possible to manage FrameMaker files using adobe bridge?

I see that there is the option to add file info to a FrameMaker file in FM9, but this is not visible or usable in Adobe Bridge. Is there a way that this is in fact possible?

As Jeff says Bridge isn't really used a lot by TCS folk. I'm not sure about the Creative Suite folk which is where this comes from originally. There is a Bridge forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/bridge if you'd like to give them a go.
