Manual control of SeekBarHandle

I am running the latest version of Flash Pro CC.  There is a known problem with the FLVPlayback and SeekBar when using red5.  I need to control the seek bar manually but cannot find any whay to access the SeekBarHandle.  When running the SeekBarHandle is defined as a class.  The class seems to have no attributes or functions.  When I access anything using the SeekBarHandle I get the error:
1119: Access of possibly undefined method ...... through a reference with static type Class.
Does anybody know what the api for the SeekBarHandle class is?  How can I display it and move the image?  I have read everything on google and am out of options.  Thanks for any help....

That is my plan to use playheadupdate. I have been able to add a mouse click to the seekbar itself and can seek the the correct place in the flv on demand. My problem is that I am unable to display the handle rectangle.  I am also unable to add a mouse event to the SeekBarHandle class I have.

  • Manually controlling music across multiple computers

I've seen a lot of similar posts about this and I find it quite frustrating that I was able to manually control my music with my 30GB ipod across multiple computers but my iphone locks me down to just one computer.
Even if I decide to use the 'manual' option it just doesn't let me add music to my iphone from multiple computers. I am constantly directed to erase and re-sync with the new computer. It's not a solution I like considering what I can do with my older ipod.
The only solution I found so far was to jailbreak the iphone but I refuse to go that path. I read a few reasons Apple released as to why it was limited and find it very silly for lack of a better word.
Anyone experience the same frustration and have a solution? Or know if there is an update to resolve this any time soon?
    Thanks!

    One thing that might help.
The iphone will only sync music and video content from one computer at a time.
If you want to sync music or video content from a second computer, itunes will remove what the first computer put on the iphone.
One thing you can do though, is combine our itunes library onto one computer.
    This article might help out.

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.
Also see this , -> Download past purchases
and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.
Actually, no it does not tell you that.
FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

  • Lost manual control of exposure in Manual mode 5Dmk3

Never changed any settings as far as I know. The day before I was shooting pictures with full manual control in manual mode. I put my camera away and when I picked it up again, Manual mode is now behaving like Automatic mode when trying to shoot pictures. It is auto exposing in the LiveView. I can see the exposure changing in LiveView as I move the camera around and I cannot change the ISO or the aperture. I can bring up the ISO menu and select different ISOs but the image does not change. When I spin the aperture control wheel, the F-Stop number changes on the display, but the blades in the lens do not move and nothing changes.
I still have full manual control when I switch to video mode, this only happens in picture mode.
Here's a short video which shows the issue I am having.
    http://youtu.be/kQN-H2Qwsu4
EDIT: Just noticed something. It seems that the camera WILL shoot the picture with the settings I have selected, but will not show what that exposure looks like in the LiveView. When I go into picture mode the aperture stays wide open no matter what I do, I can look into the lens and see that the aperture blades are all wide open. If I set the aperture to F10, the exposure does not change in LiveView and the blades do not move, but when I press the shutter, the blades will jump into place for a split second to take the picture at F10 and then revert back to wide open. Same thing with the ISO. So I guess I do still have manual control, but it's not much good to me if I have no preview of what that exposure looks like in the LiveView.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Turn on exposure simulation in the shooting menu. It's in the far right red tab, fifth row down.

  • Error when Planning Manual Control

    Hi gurus,
I am planning a manual control test in the GRC PC 10.1. The workflows have been configured correctly but the tester is not receiving the manual test.
I am checking the Planner Monitor and the status is "Error". Do you have any idea of what can be happening?
Thank you so much for you help.

    Hi for your message Naveen,
I have investigating deeper and I have just got this message from the SWIA transaction. (please check attached image)
It is saying that the organization related to the control I launched does not exist. However, it exists in the system.
Please check the image below. Any idea?

  • UPGRADING THE S110 WITH MANUAL CONTROL DURING VIDEO RECORDING

I was shooting with the S100, then upgraded to the S110. The S110 is an amazing camera. Along came the Sony RX100. Notwithstanding the RX100 one inch sensor, Canon could still trump the RX100 if it came out with a firmware upgrade for the S110 that allows manual control of focus, aperture, and shutter speed while recording video, all of which can be done with the RX100. Has anyone heard this is in the works?

    Welcome Cosmicphoto!
There aren't much product rumors in this forum, but that does sound like a cool feature.

  • Is there a way to automatically control the audio volume on safari? Some streaming video sites (Hulu, in particular), like to try to deafen me with the commercials. And yes, I'm not an idiot, I know that I can manually control the volume.

I've been searching for some way to automatically control the volume, so the commercials on streaming sites (Hulu, for example), don't deafen me. And yes, I am aware that I can manually control the volume with the volume keys on the keyboard or the slider in the menubar.

This really frustrates me, small differences between the apps that shouldn't be there.
I understand you can't change the keyboard shortcuts to be the same/similar, but this is totally different. Let's hope it changes soon.

  • Manually controlling memory clock.

Forgive me for the dumb question but on a K8N Neo Platinum (7030) is it possible to manually control the memory clock.  If so, how do you do it?
I have been running a Kingston HyperX PC3200 1GB stick in it for over a year now at 400 MHz.  I recently purchaced a 512MB PC3200 stick of Kingston HyperX and when I plug it in, it lowers the memory clock to 333.
    Thanks for any information

Thanks for the reply Richard but there is a problem still,
I had the latest ForceWare Drivers, I already had deleted the msicpl.dll and I have already set up the hidden functions. This was all done a while back and I did not have the problem until after I installed the latest ForceWare Drivers a few days ago.
    A couple of additional questions,
    1. Is there a noticable benefit with the memory overclock?
    2. Is there any real benefit of the latest ForceWare Drivers and if not perhaps I would be better off going back to the driver I had prior to 5304 if the answer to #1 is yes.

  • How can I create a manual control switch?

Using LabVIEW 6i, I am creating an interface to control a set of valves.  Sometimes the valve control is automated, but manual control is also allowed by flipping a "manual control" switch.  When the controls are in "automate" mode, they can not be switched by the user.  The way I have done this is to create two sets of controls on top of one another: one is a "control", and the other is an "indicator".   When I switch between manual and automatic, I change the visibility of the controls to show either the 'control' or the 'indicator', respectively.  It seems that there should be a better way to do this.  Any ideas?

Use your "manual control" switch to enable or disable the set of valve switches. This you do e.g. by creating a Property Node for each of your valve controls and select the property "Disabled". You can wire the states "Enabled", "Disabled" and "Disabled and Grayed Out" to all of the property nodes. (You cannot operate on disabled controls - which is exactly what you need.)
This also removes the need to have the two sets of controls and indicators: The set of controls will do.

  • How can i get manual control of my iPod while it's connected to an in-car accessory?

    Hey Guys,
I'm hoping you'll be able to help me!
I have a Pioneer stereo system in my car which has an iPod adapter to which I connect my iPod and thus am able to play my iPod tunes through my car stereo.
Now, while to iPod is plugged into the accessory the iPod's manual function (I.e. I am not able to physically press the buttons on the iPod to change tracks) and the iPod can only be accessed through the cars stereo system.
    So, my question to you is this;
Is there any way, any jailbreak, any tweak I can do to the iPod or the car stereo that will allow me to gain manual access over the iPod while plugged into the cars accessory?
    Many thanks in advance

Many receivers (like my JVC and Alpine receivers) have a "head mode" or "iPod mode" setting that can be selected for the iPod input. Head mode is receiver control while iPod mode lets you control from the iPod although the volume will still be set by the receiver. Check it out. The Pioneer might do the same thing.

  • Manually controlled slide show?

I'm feeling like a bit of an idiot since it seems to me that I should be able to do this, and that it should be in an obvious place ... but I can't find it.
I would like to set up a slide show that advances on a mouse click. I can do what I want by selecting "edit photo using full screen." But then I lose things like transitions and music. I can also do it with the controls on the screen, but that is also less than desirable ... since the controls are on the screen.
I could load the photos into PowerPoint, but then I would have to redo everything if I edited a photo.
    Duncan

    Duncan:
That can be done by setting the slide timing to 600 seconds in the Setting pane. That will give you ten minutes for each slide and then you can move to the next one with a mouse click. You can use the Apple Remote if you're on a laptop with Photo Booth capability.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Manual controls and LCD tilt on compacts?

I shoot primarily with compact Canon's. I have Powershots and Elphs. I do a lot of macro work and shoot mostly in manual mode. I like physical buttons, rings, wheels and especially the new front ring that can be set to aperture or MF (simulates a DSLR). Cool.
I'm looking for a new compact with a tilt LCD screen that has most of the Manual and Custom settings that the Powershot S110 and SX280 have. I don't want to have to use touch screen for changing shooting modes, settings, etc..I THINK the N series is all touch screen. True?
Is there a Canon compact with tilt LCD that would meet this criteria?
    Thanks

    stefoto,
This would require WiFi, which neither of the models mentioned supports.

  • [solved]Manually control the fan speed[/solved]

To enable fan control, the module parameter fan_control=1 must be given to thinkpad-acpi.
For example, in ArchLinux kernel 3.6.10, add the following to /etc/modules-load.d/thinkpad_acpi.conf: options thinkpad_acpi fan_control=1
Having done so, reboot and you can use the following commands to control fan speed:
    # echo level 0 > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (fan off)
    # echo level 2 > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (low speed)
    # echo level 4 > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (medium speed)
    # echo level 7 > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (maximum speed)
    # echo level auto > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (automatic - default)
    # echo level disengaged > /proc/acpi/ibm/fan (disengaged)
If you receive a PERMISSION DENIED error you can use the following command syntax instead as a work-around:
    # echo level 0 | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(fan off)
    # echo level 2 | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(low speed)
    # echo level 4 | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(medium speed)
    # echo level 7 | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(maximum speed)
    # echo level auto | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(automatic - default)
    # echo level disengaged | sudo tee /proc/acpi/ibm/fan ##(disengaged)

  • Manual control lost when exporting

I easily can export my Keynote presentation to QT...
then from QT I exported it for the web usage, I used the QT export (H.264) but I lost the manual slide change functionality... is there any way to get it ? (clicking change the slide...)

Thanks Brian... I did, I exported my sss.key into an sss.mov and I could run it 'manually' in QT (clicking on the screen change the slide.. good
In QT Pro, I have an option to export this sss.mov for the web : multi-files
sss.m4v, ReadMe.html, sss-poster.jpg, and sss.mov which is good for testing it embedded into html...
this is where I lost the +manual functionality+....

  • Manually controlling the front panel without a keyboard

    Hi all,
In my application I constantly switch the keyboard and the mouse between two computers (using a KVM switch), but would like to continuously be able to control a numeric control on the front panel of one of the computers (running LabView 6.1). Even if I wasn't switching, the use of the keyboard is awkward, since the control needs to be fairly effortless, quick and smooth. After searching a bit for a knob/wheel/dial type of controller, I was only able to find the new PowerMate (Griffin Technology) as a reasonable candidate, and have yet to purchase and try to integrate it. I'm also not sure how it will work with LabView.
Am I overlooking a simple solution?
Anyone have some experience with the Pow
    erMate?
    many thanks, Shy

Another option: Create a simple TCP/IP application in VB or LabVIEW to
    control the control.
    That is,
Monitor for incoming TCP/IP data in the VI with the control.
If on your other computer you wish to make a change, just use your
little application to do it, and send the value to the main app.
    Very cheap to do =)
    Another option 2:
Grab the available Parallel Port digital interface design specifics for
labview. Create yourself a simple binary switch interface. Assign 4
bits for up and 4 bits for down.
    That is,
    sw1 = -10
    sw2 = -1
    sw3 = +1
    sw4 = +10
Read in the digital input from the parallel port and increment your
control accordingly. You can obviously assign any values you want to
    the digital inputs.
Hope this helps guide you a little bit!
