Settings>Store>Your Apple ID - tap the ID and then sign out.
I only have one app in the Newsstand folder - the Sports Illustrated app. I have never gotten this message about connecting to iTunes so I'm not sure what that is all about. I would quit the Newsstand app and the other apps and the restart the iPad and see of that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesnt work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

    I have this servlet with the processRequest that handles the doPost and doGet methods. A request comes in and I want to return a jsp page. Then I use this code:

    to try to get the webserver (Tomcat 4.0 running in debug mode i Forte) to return the jsp page. The address argument is "/mypage.jsp".
    The problem is that the request keeps coming back into the processRequest as a new request. The second time it comes in the URI is "/mypage.jsp/mypage.jsp".
    Can anybody help a litte with this?

    Disk fragmentation and particularly whether it can be fixed, is very controversial.  The following thread is worth reading:

    I think it's true that disks can become fragmented, and this can affect performance. However it is also said that the OS X file system attempts to address this issue in the background all the time, apparently for certain sizes of files in particular.
    In my experience the biggest problem is actually lack of disk space.  If you don't have a fair amount of free space on your drive, tinkering with the fragments won't help much if your system needs to create a swap file or do some other maintenance.  So my recommendation is that you follow the advice to clone and re-create your drive, but if you have limited free space, consider upgrading the disk or the entire computer in the longer term.

    address bar wasn't accessible, so I did the Toolbar drag back. The invalid address is set as home page in Safari - Preferences - General.
    Tried opening safari again holding the shift key, but made no difference Andy.
    Can I just type in a new address in "home page in Safari - Preferences - General"?

  • How do I stop Verizon from pushing "Verizon Caller Name ID"?  Every time I get a call it says my trial has expired.  I say I don't want it but the same message keeps coming back.

    The last time this happened I hit the wrong button and wound up subscribing.  So I had to go on-line and cancel.  And I will have to check to assure that it has been cancelled because I have had many cancellation requests ignored in the past.

    Go into your phone menu => apps and select the app and disable it. You won't get the message anymore.

    You need to upgrade OS X.

    What pops up is the page that tells me I can use my camera to take a photo - since I don't have access to the card, useless.  I am caught going round in this loop - there's that one button, no other option.  Thanks in advance.

    I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it?     a. You are using Cheap media as Memorex, NoName etc DVDs - I only use Verbatim
    b. You use a DL-DVD or DVD+/-RW type of media - Old Macs can not use DL-DVDs - I only use DVD-R
    c. Your DVD-burner needs a cleaning - Cleaning DVD without liquid but the brush type
    d. Is there OK free space on Your Start-Up (Macintosh HD) hard disk - I never go less than 25Gb free.
    e. Can You describe the material used to create Your DVD
    - Video Codec/s
    - Photo file formats
    - Audio file formats
    iDVD can not use all but only a few of them - still it tries and then often fails

    VoiceOver is a great feature on the iPhones. I am sorry you are not able to turn it on. You have come to the right place. When you go into VoiceOver and you hit OK. Then double tap where it says on. This will turn this feature on. If you are wanting to remove the feature you would do the same thing but double tap on the OFF.

    I am having this issue as well. Here are the steps I have taken and it is still going on:
    Deleted my ME account from all of my devices
    Deleted undesired emails from icloud
    Emptied iCloud junk and trash folders
    Checked all my iCloud email settings to make sure trash gets emptied etc.
    About 5-15 minutes later there are about 11 emails that keep coming back. This is getting old and if not fixed in a few days will be closing all of my iCloud accounts for good.

  • Auto Vector Mask won't let me get past the dialog box

    Something funny started happening a few weeks back- When I try to apply an auto vector mask, I hit 'Apply' and the dialog box stays there. If I continue to press 'Apply', it will affect the mask, but I can't get past the dialog box. The 'Cancel' button still works. I've gone as far as reinstalling Fireworks CS5, and the hiccup remains....

    Resolved- I had locked down the the #Shared Objects folder, so Flash Player couldn't write to it. Whoops. Thanks anyway, maybe this will help someone in the future!
