CONSIGNMENT
In consignment orders you are allowing the stock to sit in your customer location. Once he informs that he used the stock you will invoice him. If he returns the stock you will accept the stock to take it back.
It is defined in 4 steps.
1. Consignment fill up:
Sales document type is KB
Item category KBN
schedule line category E1
In this step; you are not invoicing the customer, document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevant for billing and pricing because you are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, you will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed you that he used all the goods or partial goods then you will create consignment issue for used goods.
Sales document: KE
Item category: KEN
shedule line category: C0 or C1
Here you are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). you are assigning the delivery documnt and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, you are setting relevent for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, your setting is 633 movement type, relevent for availability check & TOR.
3. Consignment Return:
Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that you are creating this document.
Sales document type: KR
Item category: KRN
Shedule line category: D0
You will assign delivery document and billing to sales document. you will create return order, return delivery, return billing.
Your setting item category relevant for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if you create the consignment return the goods are not come to direct to your plant. For that you need to create consignment pick up. Here the owner ship is not changing so you do not need to create billing.
Assign return delivery to sales document type.
Sales document: KA
Item category: KAN
schedule line category: F0 & F1
your setting item category relevant for returns, any schedule line category relevant for 632 movement type, MRP, availability check, delivery.
Now you check your plant stock. Stock will increase.

  • Mapping of AMR into SAP????

    Hi all..
could any one tell, how to map automatic meter reading device into SAP????? what are the specifications have to be taken into consideration???

    Hi Vipin,
Though your query is very old but I accidentally stumbled upon it & thought to share my understanding from AMI integration perspective.
The reads from a smart meter e.g. centron meters from itron are passed at regular intervals to head end ( e.g. TMS - Transaction Management System  from GE or OWCE - Open Way Collection Engine from itron). Head End pass these reads to IEE MDUS ( Itron Enterprise Edition -  meter data management system . On the meter reading due date for a particular portion/ MRU , a read request is sent to IEE MDUS who in turn sends the same to SAP through a batch job.
From a technical perspective, ESB is the middleware from HE to MDUS and from MDUS to SAP /PI. There are SAP standard webservices e.g. SmartMeterMeterReadingDocumentERPBulkCreateRequest_Out as the interfaces.
    Thanks,

  • How to map refubishment process in which one material change to other matl.

    Hi Gurus,
In my company, we use PRTools which we use for creation of bolts (For e.g.M6) . These tools after getting damaged refurbished into other PRTools which we use for other bolts production (for e.g.M8).
can u suggest me, any process where i can map the activity & maintain the inventory properly.
    Thanks
    Santosh

    Riyazji,
Actually, these PRTools is having different material code with valuation type for e.g. material no. 22/1234 valuation type "T1-new" and used for creation of M6 bolts.,
If damaged, this PRT we return to store with valuation type  material no. 22/1234 "T1-damaged".
Now, after refurbishment process this tool is coverted to material no. 22/5678  and valuation type as "_T1-Refurbished_"
this tool is now cannot be used for the manufacturing of M6 bolt. This is used for  manufacturing of new M8 bolt.
Both the tools can be used on the same equipment.
Now my problem is that how can I map this process in SAP .
    Please advice
    thanks in advance.

  • Mapping export scenario in sap

    Dear all,
My client is in saudi. They are doing export from their plant(saudi). They are having  company's own place in saudi port from which they are exporting goods to all other country such as india, australia, usa.
    1. First they need to send the goods from plant location(saudi) to saudi port location. Here they need to pay transport charges to forwarding agent.
    2. Second they need to send their goods from saudi port location to all over the country.
    3. If they send the goods to india, they are having one place at indian port from there only they will send the goods to all customer in india. same like usa and other country.
Can any one please help me, how to map this process in sap. how can i create that different location (saudi plant location, saudi port location and indian port location) in sap.
    Thanks in advance,
    Babu

Create Port as one plant and this should be delivering plant. Raise PO on manufacturing plant, so that via MB1B with movement type 351, materials can be stock transferred from manufacturing plant to port.
So the receiving plant (port) will have to do MIGO, PGI and invoice. Now from port plant, create a sale order on export customer, do delivery and billing.
    thanks

  • Best Practice for the Vendor Consignment Process

    Hiii ,,,
Can anybody have the best practices for the Vendor consignment process???
    Please Send me the document.
Please explain me the Consignment process in SAP??
    Thanx & Regards,
    Kumar Rayudu

    Hi Kumar,
In order to have Consigment in SAP u need to have master data such as material master, vendor master and purchase inforecord of consignment type. U have to enter the item category k when u enter PO. The goods receipt post in vendor consignment stock will be non valuated.
    1. The intial steps starts with raising purchase order for the consignment item
    2. The vendor recieves the purchase order.
    3. GR happens for the consignment material.
    4. Stocks are recieved and placed under consignment stock.
    5. When ever we issue to prodn or if we transfer post(using mov 411) from consignment to own stock then liability occurs.
    6. Finally comes the settlement using mrko. You settle the amount for the goods which was consumed during a specific period.

  • Escheatment Process in SAP

    Hi Experts,
I am starting this discussion for getting more insight to how to get your escheatment process mapped in SAP.
Those who dont know about Escheatment let me give some brief summary about it: Escheatment process is US centric process. As per law company has to pay the unencashed checks issued to vendor or to customer(Credit memo) to state liability account. This involve void of checks, Reversal of payment made, then clearing the Invoice issued with the state liability posting.
Now I have to map this process in SAP so if any one of you have any idea or ever implemented this process in SAP please share your thoughts and knowledge on the same. It will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Amit

    Dear Amit,
For the escheatment of non-cashed checks please check the following process:
    (A) Check Management
    0. Customizing (preparation)
Create a void reason code for "escheated" checks in transaction FCHV.
    1. Get the list of those checks with report RFCHKN10 (transaction FCHN) where you can select all outstanding checks that have a specific age (and other properties if necessary).
    2. Start transaction FCH9 to void each check of the list, that has to be paid to the state. Use the void reason code created above.
Remark: Voiding checks with transaction FCH9 does not influence payroll or finance, it only sets the status of the check to "escheated" and updates the date (void date = escheatment date) and the user. Detailed information of the check and the link to the application is not lost, only the status has changed to "escheated".
    (B) Financial Accounting
    0. Master Data (preparation)
Create a vendor "State" to be used for the payment to the state.
    1. The above check usually has created an open amount on the outgoing check's account. This amount will never be cleared against the bank account, thus we post a document that will reduce this open amount and create an open item on the vendor "state":
Posting Key / Account / Amount
        40 / Outgoing checks / Old Check's amount
        31 / State / Old Check's amount
    2. Start the payment program F110 to transfer the money to the state (via ACH or check, following the rules and laws).

    Ildikó

  • Please explain consignment process in details along with SPRO customisation

Please explain consignment process in details along with SPRO customisation with a proper scenario.

    Hi Balaji
Check this link for the building blocks
    [Consignment|http://help.sap.com/bestpractices/BBLibrary/HTML/J58_CustConsProc_EN_KO.htm]
Also go though the extract below
The consignment process in SAP standard consist of four small processes:
Consignment fillup (send materials to customer consignment).
Here you have a consignment fillup order and a consignment fillup delivery.
Consignment issue (issue materials from customer consignment to the customer).
Here you have a consignment issue order, consignment issue delivery and a consignment issue invoice. (the flow is very similar to a normal OR flow, but the materials are issued from the consignment stock instead of plant stock unrestricted).
Consignment return (return materials from customer ownership to customer consignment).
Here you have a consignment return order, consignment return delivery and a consignment return invoice. (the flow is very similar to a normal RE flow, but the materials are returned to the consignment stock instead of plant stock returns).
Consignment pickup (pickup consignment stock and move it to plant stock).
Here you have a consignment pickup order and a consignment pickup delivery.
Note that in consignment fillup and consignment pickup there are no invoices since there is no change of ownership for the materials.
How to perform a consignment order?
In consignment orders you are allowing the stock to sit in your customer location. Once he informs that he used the stock you will invoice him. If he returns the stock you will accept the stock to take it back.
It is defined in 4 steps.

    2. Consignment Issue.

    Sales document: KE
    Item category: KEN
shedule line category: C0 or C1

    Sales document type: KR
    Item category: KRN

Your setting item category relevent for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.

Assign retrun delivery to sales document type.
    Sales document: KA
    Item category: KAN
    schedule line category: F0 & F1
Your setting item category relevent for returns. any shedule line category relevent for 632 movement type, MRP, availability check, delivery.
Now you check your plant stock. Stock will increase.

  • Consignment control in SAP IS Retail

Could some one explain me concept of 'consignment control' retail and complete flow of configurations required to start consignment business process in retail.

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/c6/af3c415e5dde2be10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Consignment processing in SAP Retail gives you flexibility when dealing with vendor consignment goods. If you transfer vendor consignment goods using stock transfers and delivery, you can keep the same stock category, or the system can convert the goods to your own stock, depending on the requirement of the receiving site and the result of stock determination. If you transfer vendor consignment goods and keep the consignment stock category, the goods remain the property of the external vendor until they are sold.
SPRO --> Logistic General --> Retail Consignment Processing --> Activate Retail Consignment Processing
    By default it is inactive.

  • How to map different Retail store business processes in SAP

    Hi
In our stores( Retail Business) there are two sales sections, In the first section we have Point  of Sales systems, here we placed our materials in racks, after confirming and creating sales order customer collects pick list and goes to the location to pick the products. Here customer Invoice will be created before delivery.
In second sales section normally order fulfillment will take place. Customer visit this section and select products and places an order. But the delivery will be at a later date. We receive some down payment from customer and we create sales order with scheduled delivery. while delivering the products we create delivery note and it will be sent to customer, Our driver will carry the delivery note along with products to the customer and take customer signature on the delivery note. In this second process we are creating Invoice after delivery only.
Could any body suggest me how can we map these two processes in SAP?
Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi all,
I want know what is investment allowance on asset and how can we map into sap?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Chandu.

    hello chandu ,
In order to encourage substantial investment in plant or machinery clause 5 of the Finance Bill, 2013 seeks to insert new section 32AC in the Income-tax Act, 1961 to provide for deduction for
investment in new plant or machinery by a company.   It is allowed over and above the depreciation rates.   This is for tax calculation purpose for availing this benefit so many conditions to be fullfilled.   In sap this can be handled through development only.  n.selvakumar.

    Thanks a lot
    #1. I have a material "x"
    #2. Characteristics of "x", is described by L,W,H, k1 to k18
#3. The attributes of these characteristics are dynamic
#4. The parameters & costs are defined by formulae "V" series - V1 to V26
#5. "Acceptance" of "x" is based on suitable end values from formulae - V1 to V26
#6. Currently we guys are doing the modelling based excel sheets.
#7. Same process, we want in SAP
#8. So that, once attributes are frozen, the model or specs or bom is released for procurement / production
I HOPE, I HAVE EXPLAINED CLEARLY.
    Welcome with healthy criticism

  • How to Import XML file into SAP B1

    Dear All,
    I have a scenario like,
I am receiving a XML file from a 3rd party application for the daily Creation,Update of Item Master,BP Master, Marketing Documents. I want to import this file into SAP B1 through its approp objects. I understand DTW has limitation in its file types (Semicolo,Tab,Comma,ODBC). How do i do this ? Please guide me.
    Thanks,
    Thanga Raj K

    Hy folks,
I´m frim Brasil and I've been studying the tool EFM (Eletronic File Manager) to learn more about it!
There I saw that we can extract to XML "any" infomation from the database we want, mainly through the GEP.
However, as I've seen, this Add-On can not import any XML file into SBO, unless for the BFP wich can be imported in conjunction with the BTHF Add-on.
So I ask: how is it possible to import XML data into SBO database? Is it possible to be done through the EFM? or  it´s really necessary to write a code specifically to do that?
Besides, I know that de B1iSN fit to this necessity... but when I tried to use it, by the custom "object" for BP, for example, there are some data wich the mapping conteined in this custom "process" that can not be imported... I tried to understand how to map those other fields not imported by the custom but this has been dificult to me as I am a implementation consultant focused in administrative process not on development...
Could you please help me with this subject!
    Thanks a lot,
    Denis
