Mapping objects created by the same xsd

Hi!
I have an xmlbean object A created by WLI from an xsd and I have an object B created by axis from a wsdl defined by the same xsd as object A.
I want to map my object B to object A as they are logically the saqme but since they are instances of different classes it seems not to be so easy.
What is the best way to transform object B into object A?
I guess copying all the values from object B into object A is not the way to go...
Thanks,
I.

Hi,
Sorry, I misread your previous post. So you are using Axis within WLI, which creates for you a Java object as XMLBeans does, but the underlying classes are obviously different for the 2 tools.
What kind of mapping do you exactly want to perform?
Would converting the Axis object to a stream or a string (I don't know Axis and if it is possible) and then reparsing it with XMLBeans would solve your problem?

    The last part definitely suggests already that relying on uniqueness is incorrect. Hash codes are very often equal on distinct objects, viz. new String("java").hashCode == new String("java").hashCode(). Use a class level counter as suggested earlier.For that case we would of course expect the hashCodes to be equal, since the objects are equal. But even in the case of non-equal objects that don't override hashCode, you can still get the same value. Or, for that matter, non-equal objects that do override it. There are 2^32 possible hashCode values. There are 2^64 possible Long values. That means that there are 2^32 Longs that have a hashCode of 1, 2^32 Longs that have a hashCode of 2, etc.
    And for non-equal objects...

    Yes.  Use the early warning system to send an eamil when ever the number of notifications exceeds a certain number in a given period time for a given group of objects.
    You must have the info structures for QM in LIS activated for this to work.

  • Two remote objects calls on the same php class

    Hi to all,
           I've encountered a strange issue while developing with remote objects.
    I've a mxml component with an init() method inside which is called by a menu.
    When the init() method is called it makes 7 remote object calls which are bound to some components' dataprovider.
    Among this calls I've got 2 remote object which refer to the same remote class. This because I have to call the class twice and the bind the result to two different combobox. Below you find the code:
    <mx:RemoteObject id="myFile" source="myRemoteClass" destination="amfphp"  showBusyCursor="true" makeObjectsBindable="true" fault="traceFault(event)"/>
    <mx:RemoteObject id="myXls"  source="myRemoteClass" destination="amfphp"  showBusyCursor="true" makeObjectsBindable="true" fault="traceFault(event)"/>
    in the init function I make this calls:
    myFile.listDir("dir_1")
    myXls.listDir("dir_2")
    then in the mxml code I bound the result of myFile to combobox1 and the result of myXls on combobox2.
    The problem arise when I call the myXls' listDir method. When I call it I receive the following error:
    code:
    Client.Error.DeliveryInDoubt
    Message:
    Channel disconnected
    Detail:
    Channel disconnected before an acknowledgement was received
    The strange thing is that not only the myXls object returns this error, but also all the other 6 remote object return the same error above.
    I'm not sure, but I guess that the error could be caused by the two remote object which call the same php remote class. If I comment one of the two calls everything works fine.
    Do you have any suggestion about?
    Thanks!!
    Bye

    Hi Jan.
    1) We have the 2 VO, each with 3 rows to fill in data. What I mean is that when i just fill in all the fields for the first row of the first VO, and the value of one of these fields is bigger than 50, then after the exception is thrown and the message is displayed, the fields for the first VO are duplicated and shown in the second VO as if the user had inserted them.
    2) We tried yesterday the validateEntity and a Method and Atributte Validator approaches after reading that white paper with the same results.
    The validation is correctly done using any of the those methods.
    I will try to reproduce this issue with the HR schema.
    Thanks in advance once again.

  • There was an error while writing data back to the server: Failed to commit objects to server : Duplicate object name in the same folder.

    Post Author: dmface15
    CA Forum: Administration
    I am working in a new enviorment and i am trying to save a report to the Crystal Server via the CMC. I am uploading the report from the objects tab and attempting to save to a folder. The report has 1 static defined parameter and that's it. When i click submit to save the report i receive the following error message: "There was an error while writing data back to the server: Failed to commit objects to server : Duplicate object name in the same folder." There is not a anothe report within the folder with that name. What could be causing this error message and equally important, what is the solution.

    hte message you received about duplicate user probably means something hadn't fully updated yet. Once it did then it worked...

  • Folder created with the same name as a fcpx library

    I recently moved to a new Mac Pro with a Pegasus 2 array from an old machine. I copied my old library across since I couldn't migrate because the old machine was a server.
    now every time a run FCPX I get a new folder created with the same name as the fcp library.  Inside is library with a timestamp as a name, and inside that is a folder structure which matches the true folder structure in the real library.  The contents of the subfolders are empty (original media, eg).  This parallel folder/library structure remains when I exit fcpx.  Nothing of valuie is put in it.  A new clip or still gets put in the correct place in the true library.
    If I delete this parallel stuff it gets created again next time I run fcpx.  The permissions look ok, the user id is 501.
    Anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do?
    Chris

    Sounds like the folder of back-up libraries. If so, they take up a tiny amount of space and could prove to be very valuable if  a project breaks. Does it look similar to this?

    Hi David,
    Thank you for your detailed question. It sounds like the real issue is pdf files. Are there any antivirus/firewalls that might be blocking this specific file type? or are there any preferences in your control panel that might be blocking this?
    Do you have any stored preferences for PDF files in Firefox?

  • Oracle Coherence*Web and BlazeDS: Multiple FlexSessions created for the same HttpSession

    Hi all,
    I have searched this forum and found a lot of good information from Alex Glosband and others about the infamous "Detected duplicate HTTP - based FlexSessions, generally due to the remote host disabling session cookies. Session coolkies must be enable to manage the client connection correctly." message.
    It seems, however, none of the cases are identical to ours. This is ours:
    - Resin 3.1.9
    - Oracle Coherence 3.7.1 with Coherence*Web (session replication)
    With this setup we get the "Detected duplicate HTTP..." message on the first attempt to use BlazeDS and on every subsequent call.  The same client and server code works fine in a local sessions setup.  With Coherence 3.3 (currently our production environment) it seems to occur less frequently, but still as frequent as it is a major issue for us.  It fails even with a single node using in-process distributed caching in our test setup (as well as with multi node out of process caching in our staging environment, for Coherence knowledgeable the resin app server runs with tangosol.coherence.session.localstorage=true in the first case and false in the second).
    Both the listener and message broker are mapped as "Coherence aware" in web.xml[1] so that they should use clustered sessions.
    We have been digging a bit and we found out that if we commented out lines 427 and 434 of flex.messaging.endpoints.BaseHTTPEndpoint from version 4.0.0.14931 it seems to mask the bug.  We added some logging in the setupFlexClient method and it seems that we get more or less a new FlexSession for each and every call - but they have the same cookie and thus underlying HttpSession. I.e. the list returned from flexClient.getFlexSessions() keeps growing. Thus we are not so keen on going to production with that memory leak and the above mentioned ugly hack of commenting out the detection of duplicates.
    We use request scope for the remote object, but could in theory use any scope as we do not really have any state on the object itself, it is all HttpSession state and return values that are key (logon is performed prior to doing the first blaze call, in pure forms and ajax, and it is not a timing issue in that regard we are seeing).
    Hope someone can shed some light on what can be happening. Is there any "reference testing"[2] or something when the FlexSessions are created that makes them being created as new? Where are they created?  We do not know the inner workings of the BlazeDS source, we just watched the call trace of the unwanted invalidation and found that to be line 427 of flex.messaging.endpoints.BaseHTTPEndpoint.
    Can we disable FlexSessions?  Since the flex and plain html parts of the app share the sessions, we always use FlexContext.getHttpRequest().getSession() anyway, never storing any state directly in the FlexSession or on the remote object. Or maybe there is a config option to help us with this detection (or creation) of multiple FlexSessions?
    Cheers and TIA,
    -S-
    [1] - For instance, this i the message broker servlet def:
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>MessageBrokerServlet</servlet-name>
      <display-name>MessageBrokerServlet</display-name>
    <servlet-class>com.tangosol.coherence.servlet.api22.ServletWrapper</servlet-class>
    <init-param>
    <param-name>coherence-servlet-class</param-name>
    <param-value>flex.messaging.MessageBrokerServlet</param-value>
    </init-param>
    <init-param>
    <param-name>services.configuration.file</param-name>
    <param-value>/WEB-INF/flex/services-config.xml</param-value>
    </init-param>
    <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
    </servlet>
    [2] - As you undertstand this is speculation based on pure air, but it could be that in Coherence there was a serialization/deserialization happening somehow that would break such a test?

    Just a quick update, it seems things are running in a stable fashion (and without visible memory leaks, just keeping the latest FlexSession) with these changes in BaseHTTPEndpoint:
         * Overrides to guard against duplicate HTTP-based sessions for the same FlexClient which will occur if the remote host has disabled session
         * cookies.
         * @see AbstractEndpoint#setupFlexClient(String)
        @Override
        public FlexClient setupFlexClient(String id) {
            log.debug("setupFlexClient start id " + id);
            FlexClient flexClient = super.setupFlexClient(id);
            // Scan for duplicate HTTP-sessions and if found, invalidate them and throw a MessageException.
            // A request attribute is used to deal with batched AMF messages that arrive in a single request by trigger multiple passes through this
            // method.
            boolean duplicateSessionDetected = (FlexContext.getHttpRequest().getAttribute(REQUEST_ATTR_DUPLICATE_SESSION_FLAG) != null);
            if (!duplicateSessionDetected) {
                List<FlexSession> sessions = flexClient.getFlexSessions();
                log.debug("Client has " + sessions.size() + " sessions.");
                int n = sessions.size();
                if (n > 1) {
                    int count = 0;
                    for (int i = 0; i < n; i++) {
                        if (sessions.get(i) instanceof HttpFlexSession)
                            count++;
                        if (count > 1) {
                            FlexContext.getHttpRequest().setAttribute(REQUEST_ATTR_DUPLICATE_SESSION_FLAG, Boolean.TRUE);
                            duplicateSessionDetected = true;
                            break;
            // If more than one was found, remote host isn't using session cookies. Kill all duplicate sessions and return an error.
            // Simplest to just re-scan the list given that it will be very short, but use an iterator for concurrent modification.
            int i = 0;
            if (duplicateSessionDetected) {
                List<FlexSession> sessions = flexClient.getFlexSessions();
                log.debug("Detected sessions from client: " + sessions);
                for (FlexSession session : sessions) {
                    if (session instanceof HttpFlexSession && i < sessions.size()) {
    //                    log.debug("----> sessionId: " + session.getId());
    //                    Enumeration e1 = session.getAttributeNames();
    //                    while (e1.hasMoreElements()) {
    //                        Object key = e1.nextElement();
    //                        log.debug("--------->" + key + "--------->" + session.getAttribute((String) key));
    //                    session.invalidate();
                        flexClient.sessionDestroyed(session);
                    i++;
                // Return an error to the client.
    //            DuplicateSessionException e = new DuplicateSessionException();
    //            e.setMessage(ERR_MSG_DUPLICATE_SESSIONS_DETECTED);
    //            throw e;
            return flexClient;
    It is not exactly beautiful (to say the least), but if it does the trick I might just be pragmatic enough to go with it... NB: I am of course not proposing this as a patch to this file or anything, it is just an ugly hack for our specific case, but maybe the information can help the BlazeDS team find the root cause making it incompatible with Coherence*Web.
    Will give it a test run on our staging servers.

  • Why do 2 different objects relink at the same time?

    I am sure this is answered somewhere, but I cannot find it and would like to get this file done.  I have two images (two different objects, two different frames, two different links) but somewhere along the way when I relinked the one file to a modified image it relinked the other file, which is supposed to have a separate image in it. When I first created this document, I had used same image twice, but I don't understand why INDD treats as grouped or whatever. They are not grouped objects this seems so simple but I can't get it. Please help, and many thanks in advance.

    You don't say waht version, but I'll presume CS4. I'll also presume that you have two instances of the same file linked in different locations of the document.
    In the links panel click the little triangle next to the link name to reveal the sub listing of the individual instances and select just the one you want to relink. If you select the group listing, all will be updated.

  • FCPX 10.1.3 Project vanishes when a new project is created in the same event

    I've been working on avery complicated project all day with multiple layered clips with key frame animations, colour effects etc. All was fine until I opened a new project in the same event which I was going to use to create some effects sequences for the main project. When I went back to the original project it was empty. Tried the Undo function in case I had done anything stupid but it was greyed out. Went to the FCPX backups and the last file was almost 2 hours old but did not have any sign of this project. The only thing I have left is all the imported media.
    Any ideas? Using FCPX 10.1.3. This is really annoying as all I have left is an h264 file of the almost complete project and it will be almost impossible to start from scratch.
    Thanks for your attention

    The edited project was 60 seconds making up an intricate title sequence involving 24 video segments and 48 png/ PSD files.  Had a brain storm and was wondering if there is anyway the the project could move to another event so currently going through all the event folders on my FCPX edit drive. I just can't see how a project can just vanish.
    Thanks for your suggestion.

  • Multiple objects to have the same rollover state at the same time (but link to different pages)

    Hi,
    I have a mac
    I would like to know how i can have multiple images with the same rollover states - but which show up at the same time on more than one image, (but each item to have its own linking property applied to it)?
    see image below: i want both box 'A' to pop with the same rollover state even if I'm hovering on just one of the boxes. But i want each of the boxes to link to different pages in my website.
    Ive tried grouping the images and moving them to their own layer, but the rollovers aren't 'linking' together on multiple objects
    help!
    thanks

    It's not, but you don't need that to achieve the behavior you've described. A1, a trigger, will have the states and hyperlink you desire. On rollover it will show its rollover state and will show its target container which will be directly on top of A2. It will look like a rollover state for A2. Repeat this for A2, B1 and B2 and I believe you achieve the behavior you've described. It's just a different way of approaching the problem (that happens to fit the tools available in Muse).

  • How can I map multiple sourcelines of the same position into 1 targetline?

    Hi all,
    I have a mapping problem in XI. I have no idea how to do the following mapping in the IR. My inputfile contains of 1 headerline and mulitple positions, and it has got multiple lines per position (with different data in it). The targetfile has got 1 headerline and multiple positionslines in which I have to "merge" the data from mulitple source-positionlines. It looks like this:
    source structure:
    headerdata
    position1 part1 (posnr, article number, quantity, articletype,...)
    position1 part2 (posnr, article price, payment conditions,...)
    position1 part3 (posnr, route,...)
    position2 part1
    etc
    target-structure:
    headerdata
    position1 (posnr, articlenr, quantity, articletype,price, payment conditions, route)
    position2 (same)
    position3 (same)
    etc
    Now I have to map part1,2 and 3 of the source structure to the 1 and the same target-line. I guess I would need some kind of lookup of the positionnumber in my message-mapping. But how do I do this? Copying the targetline 3 times is not an option as the target-utility only accepts the structure as described above....
    Hope anybody van help
    Thanks,
    William

    Hi,
    U can do it with UDF but it is more simpler with normal graphical mapping refer the following steps.
    1) To map header node for your example (position1) refer the following steps,
    posnr --> RemoveContext --> sort --> splitByValue(valueChange) --> CollapseContext --> position1
    2) for posnr in target side also u can use same mapping with some change  i.e.
    posnr --> RemoveContext --> sort --> splitByValue(valueChange) --> CollapseContext > splitByValue(EachValue)>posnr.
    3) For other node like articlenr, quantity, articletype,price, payment conditions, route refer the following mapping.
    1st do this.
    posnr --> RemoveContext --> sort --> splitByValue(valueChange) --> CollapseContext --> splitByValue(EachValue).
    then take IfWithOutElse function give 1st input as output of CollapseContext
    2nd input is value like articlenr, quantity, articletype,price, payment conditions or route(one of it) --> FormatByExample(using posnr --> RemoveContext --> sort --> splitByValue(valueChange)) node
    Output of IfWithOutElse give to  splitByValue(EachValue)
    Then give it to Target field.

    Rohit.
