Mapping Package Names using Axis

Hi,
I'm trying to do something which I think is pretty straightforward, but am getting no success.
When running WSDL2Java, A package is getting created called DSAdminService. I would like this to be renamed to com.cs.scs... How do I do this?
I have tried the tip in topic http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=331&threadID=553899 , but this is not helping. Here is my build file at present:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project name="engine-daemon-admin" default="make-axis" basedir=".">
        <path id="axis.classpath">
                <fileset dir="..\lib">
                        <include name="**/*.jar" />
                </fileset>
        </path>
        <taskdef resource="axis-tasks.properties" classpathref="axis.classpath"/>
        <target name="make-axis">
                <axis-wsdl2java output="." url="http://s12345.csfb.cs-group.com:8210/livecluster/webservices/EngineDaemonAdmin?WSDL">
                        <mapping namespace="DSAdminService" package="com.cs.test"/>
                </axis-wsdl2java>
        </target>
</project>Any help much appreciated !
Thanks

The namespace attribute in the mapping element takes the value of your WSDL's namespace. So for example, if the source WSDL used in the WSDL2Java task has the namespace "urn:my/wsdl/namespace", and you want the generated code to be placed in the package com.cs.scs, you would use:
<axis-wsdl2java output="." url="http://s12345.csfb.cs-group.com:8210/livecluster/webservices/EngineDaemonAdmin?WSDL">
               <mapping namespace="urn:my/wsdl/namespace"
                    package="com.cs.scs"/>

  • How to specify table name using xdoclet

    Hi
    I'm trying to specify a table name using xdoclet 1.2.
    I've tried the @sql.table, but that ain't working (no table mapping name is
    writen to the *.jdo)
    I've tried using the @jdo.class-vendor-extension with key=table and
    value=tablename, but that ain't working either.
    I guess number two approach ain't working because kodo want table name
    extension inside another extension like this:
    <extension vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map" value="base">
    <extension vendor-name="kodo" key="table" value="tablename"/>
    </extension>
    But, how do I specify the above using xdoclet?
    Regards
    Jesper

    Ok.
    Is it possible somehow to just tell kodo to use another table name without
    having to create mapping extensions for collections and stuff. Even better
    if one could specify a table name prefix to be used on all tables.
    My problem is that I need use kodo on an existing database having tables
    names that conflict with kodo's auto-generated tables names. The schematool
    will then try alter these tables :-(

    When you use metadata mapping extensions, you should not generate
    .mapping files as all that info is stored in the .jdo file. You should
    instead set kodo.jdbc.MappingFactory to metadata.

    However, I still can't get it to work.
    I've created a java class named Role with xdoclet like this:
    * @jdo.persistence-capable
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map" value="base"
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map/table" value="BW_ROLE"
    * @jdo.class-vendor-extension
    * vendor-name="kodo" key="jdbc-class-map/pk-column" value="JDOID"
    Xdoclet generates a jdo file like this:
    <jdo>
    <package name="dk.pine.users.services.model">
    <class name="Role"
    identity-type="datastore"
    <!-- end class tag --><extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map"
    value="base">
    </extension>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map/table"
    value="BW_ROLE">
    </extension>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="jdbc-class-map/pk-column"
    value="JDOID">
    </extension>
    <field name="users"
    default-fetch-group="true"
    <!-- end field tag --><collection
    element-type="dk.pine.users.services.model.User"
    embedded-element="false"
    <!-- end collection tag --></collection>
    <extension vendor-name="kodo"
    key="inverse-owner"
    value="roles">
    </extension>
    </field>
    </class>
    </package>
    </jdo>
    Now I run the mappingtool (with option refresh) and it generates a
    mapping
    file like this:
    <mapping>
    <package name="dk.pine.users.services.model">
    <class name="Role">
    <jdbc-class-map type="base" pk-column="JDOID"
    table="dbo.ROLE0"/>
    <jdbc-version-ind type="version-number"column="JDOVERSION"/>
    <jdbc-class-ind type="in-class-name" column="JDOCLASS"/>
    <field name="description">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="DESCRIPTION"/>
    </field>
    <field name="name">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="NAME0"/>
    </field>
    <field name="systemRole">
    <jdbc-field-map type="value" column="SYSTEMROLE"/>
    </field>
    <field name="users">
    <jdbc-field-map type="many-many"
    element-column.JDOID="JDOID" ref-column.JDOID="ROLES_JDOID"
    table="dbo.USER0_ROLES"/>
    </field>
    </class>
    </package>
    </mapping>
    I expected it to create a BW_ROLE, but it create a ROLE0 table????

    You can use slashes to denote sub extensions.
    See the example near the bottom of this link:

  • How to Get Package Name While Running

    Hi
    i want to load Package Name to Table.
    So any idea about ODI Ref Function to get Package Name.

    Hi Nagarjuna,
    You can get package name by doing following steps, as per my knowledge, scenario name and package name both are same in ODI (while creating scenario for package).
    by the time you can retrieve scenario name as package name using below select query with selecting Work Repository schema in ODI variable
    QUERY:
    select SESS_NAME
    from <%=snpRef.getObjectName("L","SNP_SESSION","D")%>
    where SESS_NO = <%=snpRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%>
    Steps:
    1) create a project variable as Get_Package_Name and Data type as Alphanumeric, in Refreshing tab, type above select query and select work repository schema in schema (eg: create WorkRep logical schema in topology manager)
    2) Add Get_Package_Name variable with refresh in package (before interface step)
    3) Generate Scenario for package with same package name with version 001
    When you execute the scenario you can retrieve the package name in Get_Package_Name odi variaable
    Hope this may helps you

  • How to get the package name of a procedure used in a process flow activity

    Hi all. I'm on OWB 11.2.0.2.0.
    When I used a packaged procedure or function in a mapping operator, I can find out the package.program_unit name by getting the operator's FUNCTION_NAME property. For example,
    OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING '$mapName' OPERATOR '$operName' GET PROPERTIES (FUNCTION_NAME)
    But when the same is used in a process flow activity, I can't find a property name that will give me the same information. I can get the BOUND_NAME, it does not tell me the package name. It must be stored in the activity properties because when you pull up the Synchronize dialog for the activity, it knows the package name.
    Is there a way to get this via an OMBRETRIEVE?
    Thanks.

    ANA, this is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I saw REFs also in the OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING/OPERATOR syntax, but went cross-eyed trying to figure out if I could use the same there. The closest I found was GET BOUND_OBJECT.
    Thanks again!

    i have got 2 queries:
    1- How to call the stored procedure using it's package.
    2- How to capture the In/Out parameter in the response.

    hi Prateek
    thanks for the reply.
    However when i tried mapping it to Package.procedure, communication channel throws the error saying that Package.proceudre needs to be declared.
    As i said , the procedure has IN-OUT parameter too.In oracle we need to write a block if we want to read the IN-OUT parameter.
    How to get the IN-OUT parameter in XI?

  • Mapping namespace to generated package name (clientgen)

    Hello,
    We have a need to map the namespace of the generated bean artifacts from clientgen to a different package name. This could be done prior to weblogic 10 with the typePackageName attribute of clientgen but this is no longer supported in weblogic 10. Is there another way to do this? Note we cannot change the namespace of the webservice wsdl we are generating the client for.
    Thank you!

    Use the <binding> child element to specify one of the following:
    * For JAX-WS, one or more customization files that specify one or more of the following:
    o JAX-WS and JAXB custom binding declarations. For more information, see “Customizing XML Schema-to-Java Mapping Using Binding Declarations” in Getting Started With WebLogic Web Services Using JAX-WS.
    o SOAP handler files. For more information, see “Creating and Using SOAP Message Handlers” in Programming Advance Features of WebLogic Web Services Using JAX-WS.
    * For JAX-RPC, one or more XMLBeans configuration files, which by convention end in .xsdconfig. Use this element if your Web Service uses Apache XMLBeans data types as parameters or return values.
    The <binding> element is similar to the standard Ant <Fileset> element and has all the same attributes. See the Apache Ant documentation on the Fileset element for the full list of attributes you can specify.
    Note:      The <binding> element replaces the <xsdConfig> element, which is deprecated as of version 10.0 of WebLogic Server.

    Hey, that's one thing I actually know how to do with regexes! All package descriptions have some spaces at their beginning, the package names themselves have not, so you can just use inverted grepping like so:
    $ pacman -Ss test | grep -v '^ '

    extra/fprint_demo 0.4-2 (fprint)

    This still shows the repos and the versions (nothing cut wouldn't be able to handle though). It works fine with pacman as you just saw, I can't guarantee for yaourt as I don't have it installed.
    Edit: Hm… I just realized that this still displays the results where 'test' only occured in the package description. Give me some time to figure this out.
    Edit 2: Another grep for 'test' would solve it:
    $ pacman -Ss test | grep -v '^ ' | grep test
    extra/memtest86+ 4.00-1
    extra/perl-test-pod 1.41-1
    extra/testdisk 6.11.3-2

    Still, it's not that pretty to write the same thing twice. If you really want to do it like this, I suggest you make it a function in your ~/.${SHELL}rc.
