Mapviewer not rendering color regions properly after obiee upgrade

Hello!
After upgrade my OBIEE installation from 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6.2 all dashboads with GEO maps stop rendering properly.
The color layer fails when you move the mouse over states or country. The same dashboads map works fine on 11.1.1.5 version.
When access a dashboard with maps on OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 using the Browser dev tools (tracking the HTTP requests) I can see some http 404 error for some images. The same not occurs on OBIEE 11.1.1.5.
I'm using the same database schema, the same mapviewer config file, etc.
How can I deal with this issue?

Have you tried a battery pull? If the issue is still there, you can either take it to the store or downgrade your software to the previous version to troubleshoot.

Calendar not working properly after software upgrade

Today I upgraded my touch software to version 4.1 (8B117). Since this upgrade, the calendar doesn't work properly. Before the upgrade this is the scenario: I would go into my Calendar (synced with my gmail calendar) in "List" view. There was always a brief pause where the calendar would refresh. The screen would go white for a second and the "List" view would reappear. After the upgrade, I see the same refresh but the screen stays white. It won't display my calendar in "List" view anymore... unless I click on either "Day" or "Month" view and then back to "List". Anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if the upgrade is the reason but that's the only thing that changed today so I'm very suspicious.

Dates are added at random, so are times, i.e. a item in outlook 2010 is set for 09.00am on the 16 dec 2010.
the date will come up as 14.35pm 20 dec 2010 on the ipod. This also occurs with repeated items, weekly, monthly and annual. as a % its about 5/15% of all appointments but they are the ones that matter most.
Things I have tried to resolve this include the following,
I have reset the ipod with factory settings, I have deleted All dates in outlook then synced to ensure all dates have been deleted, I have also tried the above and then reflashed the update before re syncing them.,
Selected replace items on next sync button in itunes 10.1.0.54
put repeating dates in and they have All been date changed and hours changed at random. BUT not changed in outlook on re-syncing. I know that the database is fine as I have also synced with an Android phone and a Win Mobile 6.5 phone and the dates Have correctly entered in both devices.
Some of the dates have changed by as much as 9 days, the hours by minutes up to 16/17 hours.
Ipod details, 32Gb at present 24Gb free so not a space issue...
The ipod touch has been updated with 4.2.1 (8C148) Running itunes 10.1.0.54
settings in ipod are for location london, in general and also im mail.
(factory reset not upgraded and also tried on 2 computers running win7 pro 1 x32bit 1x64bit)

ITunes not working properly after Firefox upgrade. What is corrective measure?

iTunes "store" indicates error #42403. It does not load. However, radio does work. This seemed to happen after I upgraded Firefox.

Here's an update:
1. The fan problem had to do with WindowsXP (new installation and/or drivers). The fan would simply not obey the Battery Optimized Cooling Method, and would work at full throttle all the time. Since i could not pinpoint the problem, i decided to use Acronis True Image Corporate Workstation to create an exact copy of my old configuration and HD contents, re-installed that, and that resolved the fan problem.
2. Concerning the new 80GB 5400rpm 16mb hard disk, well, it is very noisy compared to the original Fujitsu HD the laptop had. I decided to return it next day, and got a Hitachi Travelstar 80GN instead (80GB 4200 rpm 8mb) which is very quiet, just like the Fujitsu 40GB one.

Airdrop not working properly after Yosemite upgrade

My airdrop in my macbook pro cannot anymore detect any apple devices around me (my itouch and my iphone) after I upgraded to yosemite. If you have any suggestions on what to do, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Well that is the way it is until they fix it. old mac versions can send you files but you cant send files to old versions. airdrop is normal for yosemite to yosemite though
EDIT: I do suggest you email files instead. or get file upload websites where you send a private link and whoever you give the link to can download it

PKUNRE field not getting populated in 2LIS_13_VDITM after ECC upgrade

Hi,
We are seeing blank values for PKUNRE / 0BILLTOPARTY during extraction from 2LIS_13_VDITM.
We are experiencing this issue after ECC upgrade which went live recently.
We have applied note 580694 to correct missing fields in the billing extractor.
This field is sourced from VBPA/VBRP.
Our functional teams confirmed that VBPA/VBRP are updated properly and there seems to be no timing issue.
However, the record is landing in PSA with blank BILLTOPARTY.
Where could the problem be?
Is there any thing we missed?
Can any one throw some light if you have experienced this kind of an issue after upgrade.

In my system I didn't find the Field PKUNRE on the VBPA / VBRP Tables, so my guess is that you're dealing with a Custom Enhancement, if this is the case the SAP Note 576886 - "Change to user-defined fields not extracted" might help you in solving this issue.

I double checked and found the Field PKUNRE on the Extract Structure for 2LIS_13_VDITM (using Transaction Code LBWE) so now I know that you're working with a Standard field and not with a custom ehnancement, the SAP Notes below address a similar issue to yours but they are related to Applications 11 and 12, not for App 13. I apologize for the confusion.
Note 621684 - "Fields PKUNRE and PKUNRG are not filled from delivery"
Note 379237 - "BW Content LE-SHP: missing partners in 2LIS_12_VCITM"

Help! Missing pics, notes, and everything in between after iOS7 upgrade

Last night, I upgraded to iOS7. Before doing so, I connected my iPhone to my PC and backed up the contents (to the PC). Once complete, I moved ahead with the upgrade. Once complete, I think I may have accidentally hit something, causing my phone to be backed up once again, only there was nothing on it after the upgrade to iOS7. Did this overwrite my original backup? Clear out my pics, notes, etc.? Can I retrieve them? Any help is greatly appreciated.

"Update not available for this id" after Yosemite upgrade

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) 2,53 GHz Intel Core i5.
I upgraded O/S from Maverick to Yosemite. Now I try to perform latest update, and iMovie, Numbers, Keynote, Pages are listed in the Update list.
However each time I try to update them, AppStore refused with the error "Update is not available for this id..."
I did not change Apple Id since a long time, and performed latest update on Maverick before doing the upgrade. I checked the "Purchases" tab, these applications are not listed, not sure they were listed before the upgrade. I tried to sign out / sign in with my apple id, still same issue.
Anyone encountered same trouble ? What is the solution to fix this ?

Extenal component not rendering file links properly

We need to include an external web app (based on asp) into our new CQ website. The asp web app is a search engine which searches another internal document database and returnes a list of files such as powerpoints, pdfs etc. These documents cannot be migrated into our CQ database due to various reasons.
We are using the default 'external' component to include our web app. All works fine until we realise CQ prefixes it's own url to the file hyperlinks which are returned by as search results.
For example,
When the asp app running standalone, a file hyperlink looks like this:
<a href="http://companywebsite.com/search/display.asp?id=FC/07/000009">meeting document</a>
And clicking on that link will prompt using to download the file.
But when it is included in CQ using 'external' component, we got:
<a href="http://companywebsite.com/content/companywebsite/search-documents.html?CFC__target=http%3A %2F%2F10.xx.xxx.xxx%2Fsearch%2Fnew-intranet-display.asp%3Fid%3DFC%2F07%2F000009>meeting document</a>

You are passing the url in querystring and needs to escaped as per standards[1]. So it is correct.
I am not sure Try adding an optionally attribute [2] in the <a> helps & note that attribute makes link checker not even check for validity for link.

Word not working properly after W7 upgrade

Word is acting exactly like it did on my old machine before I purchased my new PC three months ago....I use Office 2003.....the Thesaurus won't work, when I click Page Setup it says Not Responding for some time before it finally pops up the Page Setup box, and other things like that where it says not responding. I am getting frustrated. I bought a new computer and ever since the W7 upgrade, I've only had problems. The printer in QB won't work, and other annoying things. Everything takes longer than it used too....just opening My docs and clicking on a folder takes too long, etc.
Forgot to mention that now my Syncback back up won't work and when the computer goes to sleep, I have to click my mouse and enter button about 20 times before the monitor will show anything and then it says I entered the wrong PW for my login.
Outlook gives me problems too -- not opening sometimes, etc.

ICal not working properly after ML upgrade

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, all of my iCal events are GONE! It also is having sync issues.

Can you provide more detailed information? I am also having a problem, here's the error message I'm getting:
The server is currently unreachable or the connection was blocked.
I have deleted the account and added it back in but I still the error.
I'm running ML 10.8.2

Calendar not working properly after OS4 upgrade to 2nd Gen iTouch 32gb

Since I upgraded to OS4 (which took forever to restore BTW), when ever I enter the calendar app... it takes between 30-60 seconds fro the calendar to populate with my events.
This was almost instantaneous in the 3.1.3 OS.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Or should I just factory default my iTouch and re-reload everything (that will be a nightmare)?

Hi kerryp24. You are not the only one with that problem. I upgrade mi iPod to iOS4 and now, when I open the Calendar it show me the info for about 2 seconds, then cleans all them for 10 seconds, and finally reloads the info...
I hope Apple solve that problem with the next update... or may be we have to downgrade to 3.1.3? Because this it the second trouble, counting the bad battery life since the iOS update. Can Apple confirm that?

My Epson Stylus SX535WD printer is not installing properly after Mavericks upgrade

Hi,
This morning - to my deep, deep regret - I uninstalled my Epson driver and associated software. I forget why I even did it now; I think it wasn't working very smoothly and I read on a forum it was wise to uninstall and reinstall if I have recently upgraded my operating software. I put Mavericks on back in February - and the printer/scanner has worked since then.
Anyway - I have spent the best part of the last 4 hours trying to reinstally the software - but now have no printers availabe as my constant error message. Epson advised me to install a 1.9Gb fix - which I have - and the latest epson software. But I can't find them on my laptop now. It is only when I click on Epson uninstall that I can see them sitting there - but with no indication of where they are on the computer. They aren't in downloads or applications... where else can i look? How else can I get this printer/scanner up and running again?

TH_DELETE_MODE not working in Web GUI after EHP7 upgrade

After upgrading to EHP7 the function module TH_DELETE_MODE is not working in the Web GUI. If I start the TH_DELETE_MODE in SE37 with the default paramter "1-" I'll get the HTTP error code 500. We use the function module for our webdynpro to logout but it is not working anymore.
Any idea or recommendation?
