MAS_CUSTOMIZATION fails to generate backend adapter related classes

Hello experts,
During sdoe mobile sales software component generationg, I got an syntax error during MAS_CUSTOMIZATION backend adapter related classes generation, which reports syntax error. The error messages are
-Class ZDOECL_013_001_0_BW, Method MAP_TO_MBO
-Field "LS_" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by "DATA" statement.
So, What may cause this issue?
Thanks.

Hi,
Report: SDOE_MOBILESALES_CONFIGURATION was not executed successfully. Metadata of the model is in inconsistent state.
So, to get back the metadata to correct state please perform following steps.
1. Goto transaction SE37
2. Execute function module SDOE_REPAIR_MOBILE_SALES with OLD_GEN value as 'N'.
3. After successful execution of thie function module
4. Goto transaction SE38
5. Execute report: SDOE_MOBILESALES_CONFIGURATION by providing RFC destination name which is configured to CRM system. (User whoever executing this report should have authorizations to login to CRM system using RFC destination).
6. Wait until queue: DOE_MASS_ACTGEN completes.
Raise an OSS message if you get any problem after step 6.
Regards,
Siva.

  • Runtime Error when generating Backend Adapter

    Hi All,
I have a problem when im trying to generate a backend adapter for a data object with two nodes. it is just a simple data object with a root node and a child node having sales order header data & item data.
when im trying to activate i get a runtime error which is listed below.
    Runtime Errors         DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
    Except.                CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    What happened?
An exceptional situation has occurred in the ORACLE software,
        possibly due to an error.
This is not an error in an application program.
actual source code trigger location: modify seocompodf from table modify_seocompodf.
Please help me with this if possible.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Malinda

    Hi Malinda,
    Below link would be usefull:
    http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-basis/runtime-error-dbif_rsql_sql_error-2649777
Above link mention why problem is coming
    Runtime Errors DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR & Exception: CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
According to above link, its problem with database and your Basis team to set up the database according to the note 1005758. It will definitely solve your problem.

  • Failed to Generate Wrapper Class Error With Postgresql

    Hello,
Sorry if this comes across twice, I posted it first through the Google Groups interface, but I haven't seen it show up on the dev2dev forum interface. So here it is again.
I've read the following threads that seem to be related to this
    question:
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/dc8f0a9ee03e9b9f/f0a70a673db3bb52
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/4f3b71c77dca30c4/4ed2e1c7b76a0c7b
I also followed the links in the second post ( I also found them via
Google as well ). I've been very sure the Postgresql JDBC driver is
definitely in the class path. I'm able to load it with Class.forName()
from a JSP page and then use DriverManager to get a connection that
works. So that definitely means the driver is found.
    What else can cause this?
The only really odd thing I am doing is running Weblogic on OS X,
10.3.7 with all the updates. I know that this Weblogic setup works
since I work on Oracle all day (using the provided Weblogic driver in
8.1SP3). Just when I try to create a Postgresql connection for testing
    our app against Postgresql.
I've tried it on Windows with Weblogic 8.1SP3 and it works, so I know
Weblogic is capable of using this driver.

    Patrick,
    1. Could you try to test the postgress connection pool using
"Test Connection" on the pool set up page?
    2. Could you compare config.xml for broken and working installations
in part of the connection pool settings?

When I run appc at compile time I am getting the reported error. What strang is that if I disable appc at compile time, weblogic performs appc on the fly and all works fine. The same error I get even when I do run appc externaly to final ear.
Can someone please assist to troubleshoot that?
    Thanks

Hi Askok. This exception usually means that the weblogic server's environment
doesn't have all it needs to make the jdbc connection you want. You should
ensure that the OS environment variable PATH has all the libraries you need
for making a jdbc-odbc connection, and that it's classpath also contains the
    driver you want.
What DBMS are you connecting to? The reason I ask is because if there is a
pure JDBC driver for it, that will be preferable, because the jdbc-odbc bridge
from Sun is not threadsafe, so it can corrupt Weblogic.

  • How to generate XML from relational data : PL/SQL or Java

I'm new to Oracle XML and would appreciate some advice. I've been asked to generate XML documents from data stored in relational tables. The XML documents must be validated against a DTD. We will probably want to store the XML in the database.
    I've seen a PL/SQL based approach as follows :
1.Mimic the structure of the DTD using SQL object types 2.Assign the relational data to the object type using PL/SQL as required
3.Use the SYS_XMLGEN package to render the required XML documents from the SQL objects
However, creating the object types seems to be quite time consuming (step 1 above) for anything other than the simplest of XML documents.
I've also seen that there is the Java based approach, namely :
    1. Use the XML generator to build Java classes based on a DTD.
    2. Use these classes to build the required XML
On the face of it, the Java based approach seems simpler. However, I'm not that familiar with Java.
Which is the best way to proceed ? Is the PL/SQL based approach worth pursuing or should I bite the bullet and brush up my Java ?
Is it possible to use a combination of PL/SQL and Java to populate the dtd generated java classes (step 2 of the Java approach) to reduce my learning curve ?
    Thanks in advance

    To help answer your questions:
    1) Now, in 9iR2, you can use SQL/XML as another choice.
    2) You can also use XSU to generate the XML and use XSLT to transform it to a desired format instead of using object views if possible.
    3) XDK provide Class generator support to populate XML data to Java classes.

  • Acrobat Pro XI V11.0.2 - Word 2010 to PDF conversion fails to generate header text

    Hello,
Following the recent update to V11.0.2, the Acrobat PDF converter for Word 2010 fails to generate the output document correctly. It misses out the text box part of the Word header.
However, using Acrobat XI via the "Print to PDF printer" appears to generate the output file correctly.
System is Windows XP-SP3 with Office 2010 (and all current updates), plus Acrobat Pro V11.0.2
Example Word source and resulting PDF are available, if anyone can figure out how to use this web interface to post examples.
    Colin Butcher.

    Hello,
No, there is no change in behaviour on my Windows XP machines, nor would I expect there to be given that there has been no change until V11.0.3 was released.
Given that you’ve reproduced the problem, albeit on a different machine, it seems reasonable to assume that the problem is related to Acrobat. If you can reproduce the behaviour, then you should be able to fix it.
The problem still exists with V11.0.3. I look forward to it being resolved shortly.
    Colin.

in generating a .net client your life becomes a lot easier, just point the wsdl executable at the .wsdl file and you're done. all you have to do is plug the generated class into your application. it's so much easier than the recent java implementations - it's embarrasing

  • Event ID 207 Failed to generate publishing metadata

    Hello All,
On the publishing server, I see this error (Event ID 207) - Failed to generate publishing metadata.  Reason: The underlying provider failed to Open.  Not sure what to look for and how to fix the issue.
I am able to add packages within the Management Server and when, I refresh publishing server the package ID shows up.  On the client side the package is available.
I just want to fix the error, if it is possible and get rid of this event ID 207 from the event viewer.
    Thanks
    RL

Are the publishing and management service on the same machine? Sounds like a WCF-related error.

  • Backend Adapter Activation error on providing Instance Push Function

    Dear Experts,
We want to create Backend Triggered Adapter. We were able to successfully activate it BUT when we tried to put "Instance Push Function" and then try to activate then its throws following error:
Unable to get the structure type of  in bapiwrapper  (adapter: <Backend Adapter Name> )
And then Backend Adapter becomes Inactive.
Can anyone please try to help me out?
DOE Server Version is 7.1 with Support Pack 7.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Gopal

    Dear All,
First of all sorry for soooooo late response. Got stuck in some other work.
We are still stuck at the issue. "Check" did not result in any error in Backend Adapter Screen.
There is no "GetDetail" BAPI Wrapper defined in Backend Adapter. Is that a must for Push Functionality?
And one more point. There was no problem in Activation and Generation of Node Structure and DATA Objects.
Its only that Backend Adapter is not getting activated when it is Backend Triggered AND when Instance Push Function is specified.
DOE Triggered Backend Adapter or Backend Triggered Backend Adapter without Instance Push function is working fine and they are getting activated and generated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Gopal

    Hi,
This seems  to be a permission issue.
Makesure account used in the application pool is a member of the BizTalk Isolated Host Users group.
Also its working considering either make the ASPNET user account a member of your BizTalk Isolated Host Users group to make sure it has access to the biztalk databases (or change the asp.net services to run under a different account, which would need
to be done from the framework's core .config files)
