Mass delete incorrect entries in TimeEvent table

Hi All
Please if any body can help out, we have an interface for uploading time entires (time IN and time out) into SAP. By mistake some wrong entries are uploaded in the system, we can delete entries one by one using PA61 list entry. but is there any way of mass deleting these entries for all the relevant employees for infotype 2011 (timeevent table).
Thanks for your help in advance
C

Hi C,
should you not have authorisation to use &sap_edit,please use debugger and please find the steps below
1. SE11->Data dictionary ->
2. Choose the table entry
3. After choosing the table entry ,enter /h and press enter  to start the debugger session(debugger switched on) message will populate in the status bar. after you enter /h and message gets populated, press enter one more time
4.place a breakpoint in end form.to place breakpoint, just double click and red button pops up near the line .to remove just double click or shift+f2
5.now double click on the line which says code=show and it will move to the variable on the right hand side
6.now click on the pencil and icon will change to view
7.now if you want to insert choose INSR or DELE based on what you are trying to do with table entries.i m trying to insert values.
8.now click f8
And you wll be able to do the amendments

  • BPM question - Delete all entries in a table and Insert data

    Hello,
I'm new to PI BPM and have this scenario to implement.
I'm supposed to delete all entries in a table and then insert data to the same table.
Is BPM necessary? If it is, what is the best practice to implement my scenario?
I want to make sure that all entries were successfully deleted before insert data.
How do I check if all entries in the table were deleted successfully before
    initiating insert.
    Thank you.
    -Won

    Hi Won,
Yes, this is possible without BPM.
You have to create 2 separate mappings, each for deleting & inserting the records.
You will have 2 different Interface mappings as well.
But in ID, create a single interface determination.
In that, configure Deletion interface mapping first and in the second row, configure Insertion interface mapping.
Please make sure that the parameter 'Mainain Order At runtime' is checked in interface determination.

  • Delete any entry in the table before adding an entry?

    Hello ABAP Experts,
I have the data in the work area. I can modify / update / insert to the table.
How to write the ABAP code for this situation.
    1) to delete any entries in the table
    2) update this entry
so finally always there would be only one entry.
    Suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks,
    BWer

    Hi,
Delete the entries of table by this stmt.
    DELETE FROM (dbtabname).
Then insert the values from workarea
    INSERT INTO dbtab VALUES <work_area>.
And u can upadte the entry with values of workarea by this stmr.
    UPDATE (dbtabname) FROM wa.
Dont use MODIFY. It will add a new record if its a new entry.

We had similar issue few days back and after long RnD, we straightaway deleted the entries using the Zprogram.

  • Unable to delete last entry in Custom table

    Hi,
I have one custom table which allows only some specific entries to be maintained in the table.I have used a standard table as a check table for dis.I found no issue while maintaining entries in the table. But when i try to delete the last entry in the table i get the message "No entry exist".Long textNo entries were found when importing data from the database.
    Kindly help.

    Hi,
If it is not possible through table maintainence then write a small Z program to delete the entries in devlopment system and then if then if you want you can transfer those to other systems.
delete from ZTABLE where {give your condition for the last record}.

    Hi,
You can create a DDL trigger. (a trigger that fire after a DROP command for example):
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_7004.htm#i2235611
In this trigger you can look for a specific event (use the ora_sysevent, ora_dict_obj_owner, ora_dict_obj_name system variables if you only wnat to track the drop of users.
you have a such example here:
    http://psoug.org/reference/ddl_trigger.html
I suggest you to start with a trigger that log all drop command and then you issue different drop command and see how the trigger is logging the different events ..

  • Does deletion of a document also deletes the entries in audit tables?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me that if a document is deleted from UCM (say it's archived and then deleted) will this also remove all the audit trails and entries in other tables(docmeta,revisions,workflowhistory.. etc) as well?
Also if there are custom tables , will the entries be deleted automatically? How does this work?
I have to generate reports for the documents that are not archived.
    Regards,
    saumya

    Hi,
Tables like Workflow History need to persist these content items as its purpose is totally different. If a admin wants to know how many content went through a particular workflow, this is the table he could refer to and also know who approved them. It is up to you to truncate records in these tables depending upon the organization need. You can for example truncate records older than 5 years from these tables.

  • Deletion of entries from a table whose name is controlled by Z program.

    Hi all,
I have to delete all entries in a custom table whose "Name" has a certain pattern say ZDBTAB01, ZDBTAB02, etc.
I arrive at the table name through ABAP code. But the statement
"DELETE FROM tab_name" doesnot work where tab_name is a variable.
Can anyone suggest a function module to perform this action..??
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Senthil G.

    data : v_tabname ..... value 'ZXXX'
    delete from (v_tabname).
It should work. Are you getting any error message as such.

  • How to delete incorrect entries Mavericks

DH accidentally typed an incorrect username on a webpage.  Now everytime I start to type the correct username the incorrect one (with the same first two letters) pops up in a box underneath, along with the correct one.
How can I delete the incorrect entry?  I have tried fn+shift+delete without success.

Thanks!  I just figured it out right after I posted.  This particular website was not under "usernames and passwords" where I thought it would be.  Instead it was under "other forms".

  • How to delete the entries in CDCLS table

    Hi All,
There is a potential issue with the size of table CDCLS on production system. We need to reduce or manage the amount of data in this table. CDCLS is a cluster table and cannot be reduced directly,
So first we were reduced the entries in CDHDR and then from CDPOS tables.
After that we tried to reduce the entries from CDCLS table through the program - RSSCD7RE, We are facing the error as - no data available and No active archive key was selected.
Please help me out, how to proceed further in this task. Thanks in advance.

Go to DB15 and see the archiving object.
You can also use the archiving object CHANGEDOCU, please refer SAP documents for that.
    Transaction is
    SARA -> Archive object CHANGEDOCU

  • How to delete obsolete entries in SID table

I have an Infoobject (0PCA_ITEMNO)  without master data and is used in a DSO. The sid table of the info object and its index has grown very large to about 207 gB. The DSO is periodically selectively deleted to hold the last 3 months data. How can I delete the the old and unused sid table entries to reduce the size.

Correct...you wouldn't want to delete the SID table values using custom code. This would potentially cause inconsistencies because you may inadvertently delete a SID value that is located elsewhere in your environment.
For example, if you have an InfoObject with SID value 1 for actual value of A1 and it's deleted. However, there is an InfoCube that has SID value 1 for this InfoObject in a dimension table.
To remove the values from the SID table for this InfoObject, your best bet is to use RSRV as stated before.

  • Delete all entries from the following tables - Follow-up Activities (oracle)

    Hello,
I performed a homogeneous system copy of our development BW system with the database (oracle 11.2.0.3) from the BW production system!
I already start the oracle database and the SAP system in the target system/server (development BW system) and I´m doing some follow-up activities. One of this activities is (at the system copy guide 6.2.3.2 Activities at Database Level) is to delete all entries from the following tables:
    DBSTATHORA, DBSTAIHORA, DBSTATIORA, DBSTATTORA
I tried to delete them using SQL Plus:
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> connect /as sysdba
    SQL> delete from DBSTATTORA;
    delete from DBSTATTORA
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
... and it show me that error message.
This is strange because when I go to transaction SE14 and check the DBSTATTORA I see that table exist and contain a lot of entries!
Why this is happened in SQL Plus!? I´m running the correct SQL statement for doing this type of task or not?
How can I delete the entries of that tables? Can I do that using the transaction SE14?
    Can you help me please?
    Thank you,
    samid raif

    Hello
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> connect /as sysdba
    SQL> delete from DBSTATTORA;
    delete from DBSTATTORA
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
It doesn't surprise me as you are not mentioning the schema name here. Instead it should be
    delete from SAPSR3.DBSTATTORA;
Assuming the schema owner is SAPSR3. if the owner is different then replace that with the correct one.

    Hi Experts,
i have the following internal table:
    data :    it_result1            TYPE   crmt_object_guid_tab
    and work area
    data : wa_result1 type crmt_object_guid.
i have to delete a guid from internal table based on some condition.
    loop at it_resul1 into wa_result1
    if lv_priority eq priority.
delete     this entry from internal table.
    endif.
    endloop..
i tried using  delete table it_result with table key CRMT_OBJECT_GUID = wa_result. but this is giving syntax error.
what should be done to delete the entry?
    Thanks and regards
    Shilpi

    Hi
Check Syntax for DELETE operator on pressing F1
    1. DELETE itab.
    2. DELETE TABLE itab WITH TABLE KEY k1 = v1 ... kn = vn.
    3. DELETE TABLE itab [FROM wa].
    4. DELETE itab INDEX idx.
    5. DELETE itab FROM idx1 TO idx2.
    6. DELETE itab WHERE logexp.
    7. DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM itab.
    delete table it_result with table key CRMT_OBJECT_GUID = wa_result
    this is wrong
    delete  it_result where CRMT_OBJECT_GUID = wa_result
