Mass-exporting Sports Tracker dat files

Is there a way of exporting the Sports Tracker dat files that are saved on my memory card to a more compatible format (e.g. GPX or KML)? I have GPSBabel but the input format does not have the option of Nokia dat files...
Does anybody have any tips?
Thanks!
P.S. And yes, I know that the Sports Tracker application itself can export single files to GPX and KML, but I find this very tedious when working with many files!

It would probably have been better if you had started a new thread which make it clearer what you need help with.
There doesn't seem to be an answer on the sportstracker support pages at http://support.sports-tracker.com/ but following the link to their community pages and doing a quick search, I found this thread which, whilst it doesn't refer to WP7, might be of help https://getsatisfaction.com/sportstracking/topics/export_workouts_from_symbian_to_android There might be better results as I haven't looked too closely.
If it is of no use, it might be worth asking the question over there anyway.

  • Sports Tracker .kml File and Windows Vista

Hi I have used Sports Tracker (ST) to make a .kml file, I tried to export the file by connecting the N95 to my pc via the USB cable, once the connection was established I tried to browse to the file on the memory card of my device (N95) and draged the file to my desktop, but the file that was crated on my desktop was not a .kml file but a strange kind of folder .tmp? Does anyone know how to get the files of the N95 via usb?
I mailed the file to my email and got like this, but I would really prefer to "drag and drop" the file to my desktop.
Thank you very much for your help,

it happens to me too .. for some time now .....
When connected .. browse the phone not with the phone browser but with Nokia N95 - Mobile phone device... and then try to copy it like this...
Ypu can also try connecting with data transfer mode .. and copy it from the memory card
    Hope it helps

  • Automatic loading data from data files in the hard drive?

Hi, I want to automate the process of loading data from a data file in the file system (e.g. c:\data\temp). I have the script to run using the loader (control file), but have to do manually. I basically have monthly data (exported into the data files from other systems) to load into the database and run the sql loader every month. I appreciate if you can tell me how to automate this or point to any tool. Thanks a lot!

Depends on your version (it's really important to mention it anytime anyone posts here!)
If you are on 10g, then DBMS_SCHEDULER can schedule anything you can do at the operating system. If you can write a script to run SQL*Loader, then you can use DBMS_SCHEDULER to automatically run that script.
It's rather harder to do the same trick on any non-10g database. DBMS_JOB cannot, for example, perform OS commands (such as 'sqlldr'), so then you have to use your operating system's scheduling capabilities (at for Windows or cron for Unix/Linux... and knowing your OS also helps provide meaningful answers!)

  • Trying to import boujou .ma tracking data into after effects, seems like it doesn't support the file.

I have tried everything to try and get this to work; i have tried multiple settings in boujou, i have imported the .ma file into maya and exported with baked keyframes and only the camera selected etc. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I am wondering whether Adobe has cut support for .ma files altogether, which is a real pain in my *** as the built in 3d track just isn't good enough. I have tried dragging the file into after effects, i have tried importing it neither of which do anything. The .ma files don't even show up, i have to select 'all files' under the file type when i choose import to even see the files, and when i click them it doesn't recognize it as tracking data, it'll try and import it as a .PNG file or something. I can't seem to find any plugins that would enable me to import .ma files. I just need that tracking data as a Camera in my scene and i don't care how it is done. Additionally, i have tried exporting as a .txt file and copying and pasting that data into a camera, which doesn't work (unless im doing it completely wrong).
    Thankyou for reading

I also experience this problem. My mp4 clips has been taken with a Samsung NV24HD camera and are HD (720p). I haven't tried to convert these clips but I think it should not be necessary since I can play them in quick time. However I have perian installed, perhaps that's why they play in quick time? The next question is then: Is there a similar plugin to iMovie?

  • Export all tracks as audio files

    Hi all,
I need to export all my tracks as audio files, and i need them to all be the same length, i set a loop brace from the first bar to bar 233, but when i choose export all tracks as audio files, some tracks are coming out at say 4m06, some are 5m30 etc.
I would like to just export all tracks and have them the same length - i.e the full song length. Is this possible?
The only way i've found at the moment is to bounce each track one at a time, but this is going to take ages lol!
(i did try putting a blank midi file or audio file at the very end of every track to make logic think it needs to export all channels right to the end, but this still didn't work)
any ideas or help would really be appreciated,
    Thanks

This is just the way the export feature works. Once there is no more audible audio data, or MIDI information, the exported audio region ends.
Is there a particular reason you need every region to go to the end marker, even if no audio or MIDI information is contained to that point?
This actually saves you hard drive space, by not creating audio files bigger than necessary.

  • Why does Logic Pro 9 add 0.3s silence at start of all my tracks when I "export all tracks as audio files"?

OK - when I "export all tracks as audio files" it works fine - I get a load of exported tracks (annoyingly with the stupid "_bip" prefix at the end).
But I find that they all have about 0.3s silence inserted at the start. WHY??!!!
I checked, and on the timeline all the tracks start with their first note at the beginning of the track so there is no silence in the arrangement. But still this silence on export.
This Logic feature is so badly designed - why can't it do the simplest things as expected.

Thank you I will look into plug-in latency compensation. However, there is no latency or need for latency compensation when outputting offline files in this way. Latency compensation is for live playback where real-time processing matters. So this is flawed software design, hence my comments about it being illogical.
"there is no latency or need for latency compensation when outputting offline files.....etc"
You don't fully understand how Logic's audio engine and buffering scheme works... not that anyone fully does except the programmers. Basically your above statement is incorrect, as some plugins have built-in-latency and others don't, but that's not the complete picture. The problem is a combination of a plugin's built-in-latency and how Logic buffers data. Logic deactivates the audio engine when stopped, all plugins and software instruments become deactivated including the ability to load or purge data buffers with the exception of a software instrument or audio track that is selected for "live" input.
(Look up Plug-in-Latency Compensation in the manual for a full explation of the choices available)
I won't disagree with you about the software design, however, rather than flawed I tend to think of it as antiquated. The positive side of this is extremely low processor use and the ability to design templates with all plugins and software instruments loaded and ready to start a new project. The downside most Logic users are familiar with...  unexpected overloads in the middle of a project when a approaching a region that makes use of processor intensive plugins, Loops that don't match up perfectly when starting a project from bar 1 and/or missing notes at the beginning of MIDI loop if starting at bar 1.... plus a half dozen other anomalies related to Logic's "efficient" audio engine. The efficiency concept made sense back when computers didn't have enough power to handle active or semi-active plugins, seems it causes more problems than not these days.

  • Essbase Data Export not Overwriting existing data file

We have an ODI interface in our environment which is used to export the data from Essbase apps to text files using Data export calc scripts and then we load those text files in a relational database. Laetely we are seeing some issue where the Data Export calc script is not overwriting the file and is just appending the new data to the existing file.
The OverWriteFile option is set to ON.
    SET DATAEXPORTOPTIONS {
         DataExportLevel "Level0";
         DataExportOverWriteFile ON;
    DataExportDimHeader ON;
         DataExportColHeader "Period";
         DataExportDynamicCalc ON;
The "Scenario" variable is a substitution variable which is set during the runtime. We are trying to extract "Budget" but the calc script is not clearing the "Actual" scenario from the text file which was the scenario that was extracted earlier. Its like after the execution of the calc script, the file contains both "Actual" and "Budget" data. We are not able to find the root cause as in why this might be happening and why OVERWRITEFILE command is not being taken into account by the data export calc script.
We have also deleted the text data file to make sure there are no temporary files on the server or anything. But when we ran the data export directly from Essbase again, then again the file contained both "Actual" as well as "Budget" data which really strange. We have never encountered an issue like this before.
    Any suggestions regarding this issue?

Did some more testing and pretty much zoomed on the issue. Our Scenario is actually something like this "Q1FCST-Budget", "Q2FCST-Budget" etc
This is the reason why we need to use a member function because Calc Script reads "&ODI_SCENARIO" (which is set to Q2FCST-Budget) as a number and gives an error. To convert this value to a string we are using @member function. And, this seems the root cause of the issue. The ODI_Scenario variable is set to "Q2FCST-Budget", but when we run the script with this calculation function @member("&ODI_SCENARIO"), the data file brings back the values for "Q1FCST-Budget" out of nowhere in addition to "Q2FCST-Budget" data which we are trying to extract.
    Successful Test Case 1:
    1) Put Scenario "Q2FCST-Budget" in hard coded letters in Script and ran the script
    e.g "Q2FCST-Phased"
    2) Ran the Script
    3) Result Ok.Script overwrote the file with Q2FCST-Budget data
    Successful Case 2:
    1) Put scenario in @member function
    e.g. @member("Q2FCST-Budget")
    2) Results again ok
    Failed Case:
    1) Deleted the file
    2) Put scenario in a substitution variable and used the member function "@member("&ODI_Scenario") and Ran the script . *ODI_SCENARIO is set to Q@FCST-Budget in Essbase variables.
    e.g. @member("&ODI_SCENARIO")
    3) Result : Script contained both "Q1FCST-Budget" as well as "Q2FCST-Budget" data values in the text file.
We are still not close to the root cause and why is this issue happening. Putting the sub var in the member function changes the complete picture and gives us inaccurate results.
    Any clues anyone?

  • Export all tracks as audio files in LPX has suddenly ceased to function correctly

I have been working on a project for the past three months, which requires me to work from home ,then export all my tracks as audio files and take them into another studio. This is because my collaborator's DAW of choice is now Nuendo. So far, this has proved to be a very successful approach to our workflow, until today. As an example , I have a cue with 96 tracks. When I came to use export all tracks as audio files, the usual window came up, defaulting the destination to the bounces folder in the Logic song. However, this time, instead of the expected and correct number of tracks to be saved ( 96 ) , the total was 25 !
I tried this with a few other recent Logic songs and the same thing happened. None of us can figure it out. I had to manually, and individually, bounce each track separately, which was very time-consuming. A clue, though….. I tried exporting the tracks one at a time. So, the first one was, say, piccolo rips. It did that fine . The second track was Alto flute runs, but when I came to export, Logic seemed to think it was still the piccolo rips! This implies that the reason why I'm experiencing reduced export files is because Logic is thinking that many of the tracks are actually duplicates, so it's stopping them from being exported. That's the only explanation I have. However, I don't have the answer to the reason for this. I'm running the latest version of Logic.
Has anyone clue as to why this has suddenly started to happen and how it can be fixed please? I'm thinking I might just trash the Logic app and reinstall.
    Many thanks for any help.

First of all you are welcome...
I have to say... I suspect something has changed even if you are not directly aware of it.... between the time it did work and now that it doesn't for you... Be it for example... an update to a plugin you are using.. or even a new/different plugin you are using now that you didn't use before...
I checked with one of my clients a few minutes ago, who does regular, several times a week, large project stem exports to see if he has ever had or heard of such an issue ( in case it one of those odd bugs that only rears its head every now and again..) and the answer was no, not at all...
So all I can recommend is to create some testbed projects.. using different combinations of Plugins, creation of tracks methods.. templates etc.. until you uncover the root cause of the issue... because i suspect it may well be something unique to your system, config or work method that is causing this problem..
You might also want to check with the guys at
    http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/index.php
..and see if David, Jordi, Eric or one of the other regulars there, have ever come across such a problem.. I did a quick cursory search there and found nothing at all  but it was a very quick look/see type of search...
Maybe CCT, Pancenter... or Edgar here.. might have an idea or two, too...
Finally,  Can you also state your current OS X / Logic version please...
    Cheers..
    Nigel

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I export each group data to separated Excel files in Reporting Services?

    Introduction
There is a scenario that a report grouped by one field for some reasons, then the users want to export each group data to separated Excel files. By default, we can directly export only one file at a time on report server. Is there a way that we can split
the report based on the group, then export each report to Excel file?
    Solution
To achieve this requirement, we can add a parameter with the group values to filter the report based on the group, then create a data-driven subscription for the report which get File name and parameter from the group values.
In the report, create a parameter named Name which use the Name field as Available Values (supposing the group grouped on Name field).
Add a filter as below in the corresponding tablix:
    Expression: [Name]
    Operator: =
    Value: [@Name]
Deploy the report. Then create a data-driven subscription with Windows File Share delivery extension for the report in Report Manager.
During the data-driven subscription, in the step 3, specify a query that returns the Name field with the values as the group in the report.
In the step 4 (Specify delivery extension settings for Report Server FileShare), below “File name”option, select “Get the value from the database”, then select Name field.
Below ‘Render Format’ option, select Excel as the static value.
In the step 5, we can configure parameter Name “Get the value from the database”, then select Name field.
Then specify the subscription execute only one time.

    Thanks,
Is this a supported scenario, or does it use unsupported features?
For example, can we call exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    in a supported way?

  • Need to rebuild Outlook 2011 for mac identity for exporting data file.

I was exporting outlook for mac data file (to import it into apple mail), and suddenly Outlook email client crashed and when I tried again it said that I need to rebuild the Outlook for mac database using rebuild utility. I took help from some professional technicians but it was a dead end. They said that my outlook for mac database was corrupt and they could not help me any further. I had years of emails in outlook for mac that I needed to move to apple mail as I was fed up of these frequently occuring outlook 2011 errors. Please if anyone could help me in this case then it will be very helpful.
    Thanks

Outlook for mac stores archives its data in .olm format and it originally stores its mails in .OLK format. If everything has failed then you can seek help of a tool that can recover these .olk14 messages. One tool I know that is capable of doing so is http://www.outlookmacdatabaserecovery.com/.
Look for the trial version first and see of it works and recovers you emails.

  • Need to export customer master data in a batch input file

    Hello all,
I'm searching for a solution to export customer master data out of a R/3 system (Release 470).
The challenge is that the file must have the same structure like the file for batch input of customer master data (import file of the program RFBIDE00).
So, has anybody an idea, if there is a standard tool to get such a file? Or has anybody developed a report creating this structure by his own?
    Thanks for your help,
    kind regards,
    Dietmar

    Hi,
I have also come across the same problem as above. There is a standard program RFBIDET0 which has to be customized to get the file which can be uploaded to RFBIDE00. Do anybody come across this kind of problem before and have  a program already. It will be of great help, if you can forward the program or guide.
