  • R/3 Table for Text Descr of ORD43 (Tax Type) of ANLA (Asset Master) table ?

    Hi all,
       I want to find the table name from which we get the Text Description for ORD43 ( Tax Type - Exemption Certificate no) of ANLA (Asset Master) table in R/3.
       In R/3, we could see that description, next to 'Tax Type - Exemption' (on the right side) with Tcode AS03 (Display Asset : Master Data) under 'Reporting' tab
       The InfoObject in BW for the same ORD43 is 0EVALGROUP3 which is an attribute of 0ASSET and InfoSource is 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT.
       Which table has that description for ORD43, PLEASE ?
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

    Hi Venkat,
    My sincere apologies for the inconvenience regretted,
    SO10 is a transaction where you maintain the texts and STXH is the table where you can find the description, if text maintained through SO10. Please check and let me know.
    Regards,
    Adhi.

  • View table and Master table don't match

    I am setting up Materialize view replication between two systems connected over a WAN. The number of rows in the master table does not match the number of rows in the Table at the view site. Is there a way I can monitor/watch or otherwise see what replicated transaction are being applied to the view. I know that rows are added to and deleted from this table over the course the the day.

    If the master table is always changing, the two tables will never match completely. Take the following scenario:
    time 0: Insert row A in master table
    time 1: Begin refresh of remote MV
    time 2: Insert row B in master table
    time 3: End refresh of remote MV
    At this point, the master table will have two rows (A & B) while the remote table only has row A. If there is a materialized view log on the master table, row B will be present in the log and will replicate on the next refresh. I'm not aware of any utility that lets you view the data in the materialized view log in a particularly human-readable form, however-- that data is stored in a RAW column.

  • Relationship between mara and mast table

    Hi gurus i have to get the components of one material for example
    if the material is paper i need to know the components of this paper (cellulose)
    any idea?
    i know all materials are in mara table but i find the transaction  cs03 i put a trace and i can see that this transaction uses de mast table but i dont know how to relate the mast table with mara table

    Pass the material and plant to function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ, this fm is used in CS03.
    Note: This will will only give you the immediate level, so again pass the material obtained from fm to the same fm to get the next level.
    Is you requirement to only get the child components of a FERT part ?

  • Attribute of the Master Table in the Selection screen

    Hi Experts,
    I'm maintaining a Material Master table with all these attributes
    MATERIAL CODE -
    Material Description
    Material Group
    Material Price
    Material Type
    In my transaction table only the material code is loaded along with the other transactions and the material group, price or description is viewed in report as I'm maintaining the master.
    If I want to view only the Group G1in the report. Can I bring this group in the selection screen to view only those details of the transation belong to the respective group?
    Since I'm maintaining the group in master table. Will the selection variable consider the attribute of the Transaction Field (Material)?
    I'm not very sure whether it is possible.
    Can anyone please adive me.
    Thanks

    HI,
    IF you want to view the report based Material Group with out the MATERIAL CODE
    then you want to make the Material group as navigational attribute.

  • Master Data vs. Transactional Data

    Hi,
    I'm creating a report (Daily Sales Report) where I am retrieving most of the values from DataSource  2LIS_11_VAITM (SD Sales: Document Item).
    Some values (e.g. Sales Org., Distribution Channel, Sales Office, Customer Group, Plant) could be taken from Customer or Material Master Data instead of from the DataSource  2LIS_11_VAITM.
    Could anyone explain for me the benifits of taking the transactional data (i.e. 2LIS_11_VAITM) instead of master data?
    Are there any disadvantages?
    Thanks,
    Tobias

    Hi ,
    You can ofcourse take the Master Data values from Customer or Material Master Data instead of from the DataSource
    2LIS_11_VAITM. but as  at the item level one purchase order or sales order can have Multiple Material attached to it so for one entry in
    the MASTER table there can be MULTIPLE entries in the ITEM table ... so while accessing data from the ITEM table u must clearly
    mention two things FIRST : the SALES ORDER NUMBER / PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER .
                                SECOND: the ITEM NUMBER to find out the unique records u required .. or else there can be ambiguity when u
    retrive the data from the ITEM TABLE......
    So .. i can say that while accessing the HEADER level data u can access MASTER TABLES ... and while accessing ITEM level data
    u should access ITEM TABLE with the proper combination of the keys....
    there is no advt. or disadvt  in accessing MASTER or ITEM table it totaslly depends on the DATA required.....
    i think now u r clear with ur doubt... if not please reply .. i will explain it in more detail......
    REWARDS POINS IF USEFUL...
    regards,
    JAY.

  • This year master data-previous year transaction data load

    hi guys,
    I support some infocubes where financial data is stored and reported on.our source systems are financial databases.
    now we load transaction data every month-end throughout a year.we load master data(full load) from flatfiles whenever there are changes.whenever we change master data,we include these changes in transaction data infopackage selections,so the transaction data related to new master data will also be loaded.
    now my situation is:
    Now this is June,2010.My boss said I have to reload transaction data for 2009 as there was some changes in rates on which the data was calulated in 2009.Some new rates came in,so they re-calculated 2009 transaction data and sent it to us.Now we have to reload this 2009 data and delete OLD 2009 data from cubes.
    My question---As I am going to re-load 2009 transaction data...but the master data present in system is up-to-date..i.e, June 2010..(its not the same master data of 2009....there were few additions and renamings until today.)...so what do we need to do in this type of situations?
    Also,as I said above,whenever we have changes in master data,we change transaction data infopackage selections so they load transaction data related to this new master data also...so it means Infopackage selections of today donot reflect the infopackage selections of 2009....but we are still trying to reload 2009 transaction data with todays infopackage??
    How do we need to do in these type of situations?Do we just go ahead and load 2009 data with 2010 master data and 2010 infopackage selections........?
    Thanks alot for your patience....
    Rgds.

    we are actually having time-dependent master data....one version of master data for each year ...like for 2005..we have verion 2....for 2006..we have version 3....master data version and to which year they are linked to is maintained in a customised table....
    so coming back to my previous post...
    for 2009...we have version 4....and transaction data was loaded then.....
    for 2010..we have version 5...and transaction data will be loaded at the end of every month...and also we have decided to reload 2009 data because the the rates on which 2009 data was calculated,changed and so our business recalculated that data and sent to us and we have to reload 2009 data and delete OLD 2009 data....
    now my questions...if we re-load 2009 data,today master data is of 2010(version 5)....this is meant for 2010 transaction data loadings....Doesnt it create inconsistencies....or am I thinking too much...is just to go ahead and load....?
    Also the infopackage selections today donot match with infopackage selections of 2009 as there were additions in master data and so we included in selections....Do we need to change back the infopackage selections to 2009 until 2009 re-load is over?
    Hope I explained it better...............
    Thanks alot.

  • Regarding master tables

    Hello,
    What is the difference between the Kna1 and Knb1 table.
    Now i want to see the blocked kustomers information from
    BSID. So what conditions i can apply to fetch the data from this.And what are the fields i have to select from kna1 or knb1.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    1.check the report RFDKVZ00 (transaction: S_ALR_87012179).
    2.You may query results from customer master table KNA1 (central). But, there is no specific fiedl that may give you result as expected directly.
    Here are few fields that may interest you:
    AUFSD: Central order block for customer
    FAKSD: Central billing block for customer
    LIFSD: Central delivery block for the customer
    SPERR: Central posting block
    SPERZ: Payment Block
    If you are not looking at central customer matser, you may consider table KNB1 for customers at compnay code level, or KNVV for customers at sales area level.
    Difference :
    KNA1--General Data in Customer Master
    KNB1-->Customer Master (Company Code)

  • How to Create Inline Table to Display Detail Data in a Master Table in 11g?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to create inline table inside master table to show data.
    I found this 10g article for this http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/web.1013/b28967/web_masterdetail006.htm#BABCDCGE
    I couldn't find such option in 11g. Am i missing something? Please let me know where i can find more details.
    Required Output:
    [+] DepartmentId DepartmentName
    [-] DepartmentId DepartmentName
    EmployeeId FirstName LastName
    EmployeeId FirstName LastName
    EmployeeId FirstName LastName
    [+] DepartmentId DepartmentName
    Also, I tried creating the Page as below (Departments -Employees Relation). i.e I have tried using the ADF treeModel in the bindings and then created a table/inline table manually to populate. The data is available in the iterators (i found using sops in back bean), but the inline table is not showing any data. I tried enabling PPR on detail based on master. But no luck.
    <af:table rows="#{bindings.Departments1.rangeSize}"
    emptyText="#{bindings.findAllStaff1.viewable ? \'No rows yet.\' :
    \'Access Denied.\'}"
    var="row" value="#{bindings.Departments1.treeModel}">
    <af:column headerText="#{bindings.Departments1.labels.DepartmentId}"
    sortable="false" sortProperty="DepartmentId">
    <af:outputText value="#{row.DepartmentId}"/>
    </af:column>
    <af:column headerText="#{bindings.Departments1.labels.DepartmentName}"
    sortable="false" sortProperty="DepartmentName">
    <af:outputText value="#{row.DepartmentName}"/>
    </af:column>
    <f:facet name="detailStamp">
    <af:table rows="#{bindings.Departments1.rangeSize}"
    emptyText="No rows yet." var="detailRow"
    value="#{row.children}">
    <af:column headerText="#{row.children[0].labels.EmployeeId}"
    sortable="false" sortProperty="EmployeeId">
    <af:outputText value="#{detailRow.EmployeeId}"/>
    </af:column>
    <af:column headerText="#{row.children[0].labels.FirstName}"
    sortable="false" sortProperty="FirstName">
    <af:outputText value="#{detailRow.FirstName}"/>
    </af:column>
    <af:column headerText="#{row.children[0].labels.LastName}"
    sortable="false" sortProperty="LastName">
    <af:outputText value="#{detailRow.LastName}"/>
    </af:column>
    </af:table>
    </f:facet>
    </af:table>
    Thanks in Advance,
    Harikiran

    Hi,
    After reading the above links end-to-end twice, I'm finally able to establish the relationship in UI. I've used iterator for my specific purpose, although it can be done using a table/forEach.
    1) Create VOs for Dept and Emp, i.e. DeptVO and EmpVO.
    2) Then a View Link on deptID, i.e DeptEmpVL
    3) Drag and drop the Dept as AdfTreeTable, b'coz it will create the treeBinding and also add the emp accessor by selecting it in the binding window. (refer to above doc links from BaiG)
    4) In my Page UI, i've created a new table and an iterator in the detailStamp.
    Dept Table ->
    o Value = #{bindings.Departments1.treeModel}
    o Var = dept
    o varStaus = deptVarStatus
    Add these:
    Column1-> OutputText -> #{dept.DepartmentId}
    Column2-> OutputText -> #{dept.DepartmentName}
    Insert into TableFacets -> detailStamp -> iterator
    Iterator ->
    o Value = #{dept.children}
    o Var = emp
    o varStatus = empVarStatus
    Add these:
    OutputText -> #{emp.EmployeeId}
    OutputText -> #{emp.EmployeeName}
    OutputText -> #{emp.Salary}
    This iterator/forEach comes in handy for having n Number of regions inside a layout.
    Thanks,
    Harikiran

  • Snapshot replication slow during purge of master table

    I have basic snapshot/materialized view replication of a big table (around 6 million rows).
    The problem that I run into is that when I run a purge of the master table at the master site (delete dml), the snapshot refresh time becomes slower. After the purge the snapshot refresh time goes back to the normal time interval.
    I had thought that the snapshot does a simple select so any exclusive lock on the table should not hinder the performance.
    Has anyone seen this problem before and if so what has been the workaround?
    The master site and the snapshot site both are 8.1.7.4 and are both unix tru64.
    I don't know if this has any relevence but the master database is rule based while the snapshot site is cost based.
    thanks in advance

    Hello Alan,
    Your problem is, to know inside a table-trigger if the actual DML was caused
    by a replication or a normal local DML.
    One way (I'm practising) to solve (in Oracle 8.1.7) this is the following:
    You can use in the trigger code the functions DBMS_SNAPSHOT.I_AM_A_REFRESH(),
    DBMS_REPUTIL.REPLICATION_IS_ON() and DBMS_REPUTIL.FROM_REMOTE()
    (For details see oracle documentation library)
    For example: a trigger (before insert of each row) at the master side
    on a table which is an updatable snapshot:
    DECLARE
         site_x VARCHAR2(128) := DBMS_REPUTIL.GLOBAL_NAME;
         timestamp_x      DATE;
         value_time_diff     NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    IF (NOT (DBMS_SNAPSHOT.I_AM_A_REFRESH) AND DBMS_REPUTIL.REPLICATION_IS_ON) THEN
    IF NOT DBMS_REPUTIL.FROM_REMOTE THEN
    IF inserting THEN
         :new.info_text := 'Hello table; this entry was caused by local DML';
    END IF;
    END IF;
    END IF;
    END;
    By the way: I've got here at work nearly the same configuration, now in production since a year.
    Kind regards
    Steffen Rvckel
