Material locked after using IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS

Hi All
I have a program which uses function IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS for creating/changing material. After that it also tries to update "Legal Control" using a BDC on MM02 but then I get message M3 022 (Group data for material xxx locked by xxx). It looks like the function is not unlocking tables MARA and MBEW (I can see this on SM12).
I have already searched over the internet, SDN and services.sap but no luck so far.
Anyone has an idea about what could be wrong?

I can see that are locks for 4 tables:
MARA
MBEW
MARC
MVKE
Messages can be M3 022 (for MBEW) and M3 897 (for MARC).

Account locked after using get_wmi commands

I am writing some scripts using powershell to get information about servers such as cpu's, memeory etc.
I run the scripts from a jump server that has access to most of the servers. I logon to the server using a password that lives for 4 hours. The scripts work great however now my ID is getting locked out constantly so I am thinking that the remote connection
from the jump server used my credentials at that time and something on the remote computer that is still using that expiredID/PW combo. Is there anyway to connect to servers and not leave expired credentials or running sessions that will cause issues like
this.
I read a text file in and loop on several wmi commands like the following

Files locked after using LR V 1.1 - WnXP SP2

I had this problem with V1 and have just discovered it still exists with V 1.1 - I'm wondering if this is a known problem. I know from my previous post that some others have experienced this problem.
The only application that uses my .CR2 files is LR. Recently I converted a few images to DNG but without deleting the original .CR2 Having done the conversion I closed LR and then went into Win Explorer to manually delete the .CR2s. I got a message saying the file was being used by another person or program.
I get similar problems if I use LR to remove an image file from the Library but not hard drive. It cannot be deleted with Win Explorer.
I used Process Explorer and it reveals nothing that's using the file.
If no one can can throw any light on this I'll file a bug report.

Router is standalone device.Add/Remove devices on Windows7 is only for that particular computer....If you want to add any computer in your network then,simply connect the computer to the router if it wired.If the computers/devices are wireless then, just connect to the wireless network and it will work.

Cange AFS category structure after using in material.

Hi!
We use AFS.
Is it possible to add characteristics into category structure after assigning coverage strategy and using it in material?
I have tried to do it few times and got different results (ok/error) !!!
I am going to use 2-4 characteristics but 2 of them are not defined completely. And if it is possible I would like to include only 2 caracteristics into structure and add 1 or 2 in few mounth.

Once the Category Structure is locked and used in Material Master, transactional data could exist in the system related to the category values. Modifying the Category Structure by adding new fields will lead to database inconsistencies. Hence it is not advisable to change the Category Structure once it is locked and used in materials.
If the Category Structure is locked and is not used in any of the materials, there is no harm in modifying it. Still the Coverage Strategy will have to be redefined for this new field to be part of the Coverage strategy.

The buttons in main the vi get locked after opening a vi reference in a subpanel and using buttons within the subpanel.

I am trying to open a reference to a vi in the subpanel of the main vi. However after the vi opens in the subpanel and after pressing a few buttons in the subpanel the buttons in the main vi get locked, i.e. I can't even close the main vi or control anything else. Is there any way how I can avoid this happening?

This is most likely happening because in either the top or sub panel,
there is an event structure that is queuing events, and is set to lock
the panel until the events are handled, and because of the logic in the
diagram, the events aren't being pulled from the queue.
So, you have a deadlock. You are waiting
on the panel. The panel is
waiting on the diagram. And the diagram is waiting on something else.
So, if there are indeed event structures involved, determine where in
the diagram things are delaying. Also, if you do not need the panel to
lock until the event is handled, you can change the setting in the
events dialog on the structure. But the events will still be queued
until the diagram starts executing.

The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone.

I have a really troublesome problem.
My laptop is locked after I don't use it for several minutes.
When I say locked, I mean it turns to where shows my account name and below it says locked.
At first, I think it is cause by the Auto-lock .cuz I am really annoyed by it, I uninstalled it.
However it still does not work.
Could anyone tell me what the problem is on earth?
Perhaps it is just because I am really not familiar with my new laptop.

That's a power setting that determines how long before it enters the screen saver, sleep more, or even hibernation mode. You can change either the requirement of a password (somewhere in the screen saver section of Windows) or the duration before it enters those modes (you should be able to set that with the Lenovo Power Center thing). Of course, doing either is a security risk, but that's up to you as to how much security or comfort you want.

You can leave your iPad locked without any problem. Furthermore, it's recommended instead of turning your iPad off.
Your iPad, when it's locked, can receive mails, updates..., but it doesn't take a lot of battery, so it doesn't make sense to turn the iPad off

Regarding your new Guest Account.
If it is the Guest User created by Find My Mac, it is advisable that you leave it be in order to maintain the functionality of the Find My Mac system. It is not a typical guest account. A person can't use the account to log into the system. It only permits the user (presumably a thief) to use a crippled version of Safari, in which the thief will reveal his/her location, hopefully to an end result wherein you may be able to recover the stolen computer.
The very nature of this unique guest account is to increase the security of the system, not to degrade it as a typical guest account might do.

Problem in creating and updating of material by the use of bapi and bdc

I am using bapi (BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA ) and than bdc to create and update classification data of material.
I am facing a problem.
1) firstly I am creating material by the use of bapi and than after creation i want to update classification data for taht perticular material .
2) To update classification data i am using bdc . while at the time of updating material through bdc system showing me error that material is currently locked by user (my login name ).
Please suggest what to do.

When u update/create data it takes sometime to commit. So after using BAPI
give 10 minutes wait in ur program before updating classification data.
you can write like
wait up to 20 seconds.
and update the classification.

We want to apply/add Overhead to SFG/FG materials.
We are using PP order with PCC(product cost collector) as the cost object , i.e costing by period.(system ECC 6)
But our problem is with material standard cost estimate process.
We have assigned overhead keys to the percentage rates in costing sheet for material standard costing and assigned the origin groups to the credits of costing sheet. But after running the cost estimate overhead is not taking into account for standard cost calculation.
In the define credit entry table key field is valid to date strangly and actually system should allow one than one entry with same valid to date and same sec.Cost element(type-41) for different cost centers.
But if we without using overhead key and origin group, the entire cost in that supporting cost center will come to all materials (SFG/FG) and we can not distinguish between different product materials(SFG /FG).
We have checked all things as mentined below.
Firstly that the correct costing sheet is assigned to the valuation
variant.
That the costing sheet is entered for the appropriate material type:
Finished and semi finished or material components.
All of the above can be checked and verified via transaction OKKN.
In addition make sure that the base value maintained is present in the
costing, for example the base may include an Origin group, is that
origin group part of the materials being costed?
Similarly if the base is found and values exist how is the overhead
rate of the costing sheet set up, is it valid etc.
And finally do a similar check for the credit.
we doubt this as a programm error...
So, request all experts to have ur feedback..

some time in costing sheet origin group is maintain in different unit & for materail it's maitain in other unit of mesaurement.
You can see unit of measure for material in Additional data - unit of measure.
Check BOM component material unit also.
Check same unit of measure is maintain in KZS2

Custom - Material Master Update using an IDOC (Message Type - MATMAS_BAPI)

Hello everyone,
I was writing a functional specs. Basically, I want to update the material master MM02 using an IDOC (MATMAS_BAPI01 - Basic Type & MATMAS_BAPI - Message Type). This is currently working.
To my understanding, this currently uses function module - BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1 to update the material master after the IDOC is posted to SAP ECC from XI system.
Now I want to add one small validation logic before it actually updates the material master (MM02).
I looked around and found one exit - EXIT_SAPLMV02_002 in enhancement MGV00001. I was almost sure that this EXIT can be used to write the custom validation code before, actual MM02 updation.
However while trying to establish a link between this EXIT and BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1, I found that EXIT_SAPLMV02_002 is actually a part of another function module - IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 and not BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1. I am stuck here if adding the custom logic in the exit really going to work.
a bit of googling and I found from WE30 that the purpose of both these function modules are actually different. While BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1 actually create & updates the material master (also plant specific master data which is my need), IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 is just for maintenence of few fields in MM02 (may be custom fields).
Can anyone point out if my thing is in right direction?
Also please offer any solution where shall I put the Custom Logic in the EXIT or the some variants of
BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1.
A less technical explanation would be appreciated as I come from a functional background and invloved in this for writing the func specs. I want to make it sure that what I write is not useless and makes some sense.

Did some head breaking with the function module - BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1 to check whether it is calling the EXIT_SAPLMV02_002 internally. Couldn't get anywhere.
On question of another EXIT in BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1, I don't see any. I am not very proficient in ABAP code, I must say though.
I found the list of exits from google, almost same list everywhere.

Condition type to be loaded on Material cost after Taxes but shouldn't change Tax base Amount.

Customer requirement is that they want to deduct some amount after the Taxes (after BASB) &t load this amount value after taxes on Material cost (hence accrual KEY can't be used). but with the addition of this new condition type (for deduction) it shouldn't change the base amount for Tax condition type (BASB).
Basic Problem : new condition type value to be load on material (after taxes). but this condition value shouldn't change the Net price of PO(amount in BASB condition of Tax) so that base amount (BASB) of Tax procedure remain unchanged.
(Since it is to be loaded on material hence i cant use account key definitely. Also this cost to be loaded on material after taxes)
Ex -             PBXX =     100 base price
                 Freight =       20
   Tax base amnt =     120
               Tax (5%)=          6
                      Total =    126
     Other Charges=      10 (this 10 Rs amount in this condition type required to be loaded on material cost, at the same time this condition value shouldn't change the base amount for the Tax (BASB)
Please suggest (purpose is to load the deduction on material cost after Taxes & same time it shouldn't change the the amount after Tax base calculation)

   Your condition type is without acrual flag in M/06. No acrual key is maintained in the MM pricing procedure.
   To achieve your requirement, maintain subtotal 6 against the condition type in your MM pricing procedure in M/08.
   Maintain the base type calc procedure as 362 against your BASB condition type in tax procedure. Keep the field blank for the tax condition type (VAT or CST / ED etc)
   Test the scenario again with a new PO. System will show the condition value in net amount field in PO, but the same wont be copied to BASB in tax procedure. Check the taxes pop up. Check the same and revert back.
Note: Similar requirement (not exact) for acrual conditions are mentioned in my doc: Tax Calculation on Freight - Different Scenarios You may refer it if required.
