Condition type to be loaded on Material cost after Taxes but shouldn't change Tax base Amount.

Customer requirement is that they want to deduct some amount after the Taxes (after BASB) &t load this amount value after taxes on Material cost  (hence accrual KEY can't  be used). but with the addition of this new condition type (for deduction) it shouldn't change the base amount  for Tax condition type (BASB).
Basic Problem : new condition type value to be load on material (after taxes). but this condition value shouldn't change the Net price of PO(amount in BASB condition of Tax) so that base amount (BASB) of Tax procedure remain unchanged.
(Since it is to be loaded on material hence i cant use account key definitely. Also this cost to be loaded on material after taxes)
Ex -             PBXX =     100 base price
                 Freight =       20
   Tax base amnt =     120
               Tax (5%)=          6
                      Total =    126
Other Charges=      10  (this 10 Rs amount in this condition type required to be loaded on material cost, at the same time this condition value shouldn't change the base amount for the Tax (BASB)
Please suggest (purpose is to load the deduction on material cost after Taxes & same time it shouldn't change the  the amount after Tax base calculation)

Hi,
Your condition type is without acrual flag in M/06. No acrual key is maintained in the MM pricing procedure.
To achieve your requirement, maintain subtotal 6 against the condition type in your MM pricing procedure in M/08.
Maintain the base type calc procedure as 362 against your BASB condition type in tax procedure. Keep the field blank for the tax condition type (VAT or CST / ED etc)
Test the scenario again with a new PO. System will show the condition value in net amount field in PO, but the same wont be copied to BASB in tax procedure. Check the taxes pop up. Check the same and revert back.
Note: Similar requirement (not exact) for acrual conditions are mentioned in my doc: Tax Calculation on Freight - Different Scenarios You may refer it if required.

    Dear Friend
A sales order is created say order no 10000 and for material X say 10 units this order is delivered and PGIed and invoiced and the payment too has come
That means the order 10000 is closed
    Case 1
Now an user goes to VA02 t code and put this order no 10000 and changes the material X qty from 10 to 12 and opens up the whole order once again
This can be controlled by using t code OVAH choosing message class the V4 message no 083 and change from warning to error
    Case2
But to avoid the user to add material Y to the existing order say 10000 then i think we have to go for user exit
Because the system doesnot even throw a warning message too in case 2 (according to my knowledge) and allows another line item to be added in the same order
But you can test it if it throws any warning message we can try to convert that error
But in case 2 it is not happening(even warning is not there)

  • Shipment cost condition types - Insurance and loading/picking

    Hello Experts!
I am trying to create a pricing procedure for shipment containing :
-One pricing condition for insurance (the insurance is a % of the total value of the transported goods (value of the delivery)).
-One pricing condition for loading. When the loading is done by the forwarding agent, we have to pay 4 euros/ parcel loaded.
Can you please help me to build those two conditions please?
    Thank you!

    Dear Pegasus
As the insurance would be fixed percentage, you can very well create a new condition type in V/06 say the name as ZINS and maintain the required fields with access sequence (you can retain the same condition type as your access sequence in V/06.  Now go to V/07, select this ZINS and maintain the required combination.  It may be for customer or Customer / Material. Now go to VK11, input the condition type and maintain the percentage and save. Create a sale order and see whether the insurance percentage calculates correctly.
With regard to loading charges, what do you mean by parcel ??  I mean, how it is packed ??  That is one parcel contains how many quantities ??  If this is fixed, then you can create a condition record for this also as explained above.  Alternatively, you can maintain a header condition type for this and include the same in billing manually.  While generating invoice, you know how many parcels are loaded and calculate the total value and input the same in condition tab at header level.  Once you input this tab, click on Activate button at the bottom screen in condition tab so that the value will be equally allocated to all line items.
    thanks

  • Condition type PMIN Minimum Price for material

    Hello
We have a requirement where we need to maintain minimum price of material in master.
Whenever in sales order price is entered and is lower than minium price for material maintained it should automatically add the difference as surcharge. If the price maintained is more than the minimum price maintained it should not do anything.
I guess we have to use Ctype PMIN for this. I amy using this condition type have created a condition record and maintained a minimum price for this material f09 as rs 1000
Now when i am creating sales order price picked up from pricing condition record for that customer is 500 . Now it should automatically add Rs 500 in condition line item for condition type PMIN.
What is happening is it is showing me my base price as 500 and it is adding PMIN as 1000 to the base price and showing total base price as 1500
If price maintained in pricing condition record is more than 1000 for ex 1200 even then too it is adding PMIN as 1000 and showing total base price as 2200.
Please let me know what am i missing...
    Regards
    SANJEEV

-T code VK11 - Maintain condition records - You can use the upper and lower limits functionality in the condition records for those specific materials.
-Also Make this condition type as mandatory then check it out.

  • Reduce material cost after invoice verification

    Hi
I have created GRN for a purchase order for which invoice verification is also done. Now i wanted to reduce the value in material cost. IN the MIRO t code, when i select material tab and enter the material number and the value, the system is giving an error message. it is giving an error message as error in account determination. in Transaction key
PRD. the system is posting the value in the price difference account. which should not happen. If i post it to PRD account. The value of the material is not reducing.
Pl let me know the right process to address the issue.

The below configuration should have to be activated, if you are posting in the GL / Material directly. ( I guess you might have activated already )
SPRO - Materials Management - LIV - Incoming Invoice - Activate Direct posting to G/L Accounts and Material Accounts
    Material Cost
If you are trying to reduce the cost of material, then you should use transaction MR21. (Always do this in the current period )
    PO Material Cost
If you are trying to reduce the PO item cost, then you should use Subsequent Credit in the MIRO.
But again at the time of posting, there should be sufficient stock to post against the stock account or it will post in the price difference if the material uses MAV price. If the material uses standard price, then also it will post in the price difference account irrespective of the stock availability.
    Hope it helps.

  • Tirefox will not load in windows 7 after upgrade but is ok in linex(error taking too long to connect)

my harddrive is partitioned 50/50. 1st half has windows 7 on it and 2nd half has ubuntu 11.10.
Since latest upgrade of firefox the linex runs ok. but the windows 7 will not connect and gives error "taking too longto connect"
I have tried deleting firefox and reloading yo no avail.

The windows update sometimes creates issues. I've had this happen to me two times. I rolled back to the Firefox 8 and didn't have any problems, however one thing you can try is to increase your timeout range and try that. If its loading fine in linux we have to assume its not systemic, but is an OS issue. How long does it hang before you get the error?

  • Change the Condition base value in a Condition type.

    Hi Experts,
I have a problem because I need to change the condition base value for a condition type. This condition base is calculated as a result of other condition types in the list of pricing Elements. I would need to change the base in order to solve the problem.
    Thank you and best regards.

    Hi Alberto
if i get it correctly , this is your scenario
    condition 1--- price x
    condition 1--- price Y
    condition 1--- price z
now you want a fourth conddition with base value total of the above 3
if so , you maybe define all the above 3 as statistical ,
in another row , create a total of the above 3,
assign a sub total this ,
create new conditon type and in its alt base value , give the formalue for the sub total
for eg 5 for sub toal 1, 6 for sub total 2
and then you would get the right base value
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Conditions type of category "Delivery Costs"(B) donu00B4t allow negative values

    Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to munipulate a condition type with category "B" Delivery costs in such a way that it allows a negative entry in the Purchase Order.
Estandard SAP does not allow it. Message: 06259 "Negative Delivery costs are not allowed".
If the above is not possible, can anyone tell me how a can manipulate a Discount (fixed amount) in such a way that it not only points at a particlar account (accruels indicator does this job) upon MIGO, but also apears as a line-item upon receiving the invoice (MIRO). As far as I know, only Planned delivery costs can do this job. But they do not allow negative values!
If anyone has encountered a similar task, please tell me how they solved it.
    Thanks,
    Aart

    Hello Guys,
    The scenario isas follows.
When one buys fuel, in Chile  one has to pay fuel especific Taxes.
Version especific config does not resolve this because we need the tax in amount (value) not in percentage.
In our system we resolved this by creating a material "Fuel especific Taxes" which points at a tax-account  with a special tax-indicator.
    So far so good.
Now the government implemented a second fuel tax - "Fuel tax variable" which we might resolve in the same way, but the problem is this tax might be negative(!).
We cannot create a material with a "negative value" in our Purchase Order and discount conditions have inmediate efect on the material costs in the PO.
The ideal would be incorporate a condition type in the PO which upon invoicing (MIRO) shows up with the tax account (and a possible negative value!
The model we have developed upto now is using the tabpage "GeneralAccount" in the MIRO but in this model we have to indicate the account ourselves. The system does not propose it.
Thats why I thought of the "Planned Delivery costs" option.
Hope this clarifies a bit more the case we have.
    Thanks for any feedback

  • IPC: Condition Types attached to material group

    Hello all,
I am working in a ECC - IPC scenario and needed your help.
I implemented a IPC userexit(scale base formula) which corresponds to a condition type ZDCV which implements a discount for the products.
When this condition type is attached to a material (in tcode vk11), the corresponding discount rates are displayed in the webshop via IPC.
But the problem arises when we attach this condition type to a material group.
In the product catalog of the webshop, the IPC is able to determine discounts for individual materials but not for those materials contained in material group.
Your inputs will be very helpful.
    Thanks and Regards
    Deepika

I think you have to do some logic in that userexit... you have to get the whole quantity of material group and have to pass that value in the scale base formula..
    Thanks and Regards

  • Shipment cost transfer to condition types of PO

HI! I saw this note 427944 which states the rules to transferring the shipment costs into the condition types of the PO:
The shipment cost value (without tax amounts) is cumulated for all relevant shipment cost documents for each service agent and transferred to a corresponding condition type of the purchase order item. Before cumulation, the amounts are first converted into the purchase order currency.
    1. A transfer of the values for each condition type (similar to the transfer from a shipment cost document to the SD billing document) is not supported.
    2. If different service agents exist in the shipment cost documents, a corresponding number of condition lines (with value 0) must be specified in the purchase order item. These can always belong to the same condition type (in schema 'Manual') or also to different condition types (not 'Manual'):
    a) Manual condition lines: If the condition type in the schema of the purchase order is marked is 'manual', the condition type must be created (with value 0) in the purchase order item before the goods
receipt. If delivery costs are expected from different service agents, several non-valuated entries must be generated for this condition type. If more condition lines exist than required, these are then no longer taken into account. If condition lines are missing, the last service agents are not settled.
    - Advantage: You only have to define one condition type for the delivery costs.
    - Disadvantage: Each purchase order must be processed manually before the goods receipt.
    b) Automatic condition lines: If the condition lines are to be generated automatically for the delivery costs (the condition type is not flagged as 'Manual' in the schema), the schema must have
enough condition types to settle several service agents. If more condition lines exist than required, these are then no longer taken into account. If condition lines are missing, the last service
    agents are not settled.
    - Advantage: The goods receipt can be carried out without manual preparation beforehand in the purchase order.
    - Disadvantage: You must define identical condition types with different names.
I can understand point a about the manual condition lines and have tried it out myself.
But I don't quite understand point b about the automatic condition lines and so I need some clarification here.
    1. Does that mean I do not need to maintain the condition type in the PO?
    2. Does that mean the system will automatically find a condition to put the shipment cost for each service agent?
    3. How does the system know which condition to take then?
    4. I tested with the 'manual' field not flagged in the PO schema but no shipment cost is transferred. Is it because of the existence of other normal condition types that are also not manual?
    Appreciate any help to this.
    Thanks!

  • Material related condition types

    hello mm gurus,
I have created a material and I want to maintain condition records for that material through MEK1
but there are so many condition types. I want to maintain the condition types which are related to material
    please explain me briefly
    thanks in advance
    bye

    Hi Subramanyam
it totally depends on you what condition records you want and for which condition types. for all the condition types for which access sequence is assigned you can create condition records and choose proper key combination "material/vendor" and enter your desirable price which you want to be picked up by the system at the time of PO creation.
