Max Instance of One DESKI Report for Schedule

Hi,
Can someone pls let me know how many Max Instance we can create for One DESKI Report for Scheduling.
Thanks in advance.
Prabhat

Jason,
Thanks for the info. The query builder o/p and the application o/p are the same. When this situation happened last time I just simply deleted those older instances from the history and left only the current one.
This has forced the query to return the only available instance, which is the current one.
My suspect here is that, the SI_ID of a new instance is smaller than the older instance...
for example,
Instance 1 - 10023
Instance 2 - 12344
Instance 3 - 9892
Is this possible?? Since I have deleted the older instances I have no way to confirm this case unless it happens again.
The BO documentation about SI_ID reads like this...
"This property is used to uniquely identify an object. The number is assigned at creation time, and is never changed until the object is destroyed. You should never hard-code this number, however, since if the object is destroyed the number may be assigned to another object. No two objects have the same ID, even if they are different types of objects; that is, you will never find a report that has the same ID as a folder."
As it claims that an ID can be re-used if the object is destoryed I assume that though the new ID will be unique there is no guarantee that it will be bigger than the previous instance of the same object.
But the problem is that I dont have a documentation proof to claim this hence asking help from the guru's here...
Regards,
Elan.

  • Wrong data in MCE1 & MCE3 reports for scheduling agreements

    Hi All,
I have got problem while executing MCE1 & MCE3 reports. It shows wrong PO value and GR Qty. While executing , I am giving inputs as P.Org,Vendor and Period in T.Code MCE1. After executing ,I select Info Structure S011.But the output is not matching with Actual GR quantity and PO Value if you see Purchase Order History. The same case with report MCE3 report, where Info Structure S012 is being selected.
I have checked in MC26 , where data field for period determination is set as Purchase Order date.
So Can anybody assist me on this ...How to get the exact data (PO value,Invoice amount,Order qty)which should match with PO history??
Further to this, Is there any Standard report to get the value of materials bought via consignment??
Please let me know if there is any customization setting involved??
    Thanks in advance..
    Somu

1> On what logic is the system picking that calculation schema?
As per "Define Schema Determination" in spro Purchasing document should pick the Pricing Procedure .
After creation of scheduling agreement have chacked your values in Scheduling agreement (Purchase ORG ,Schema grp in Vendor)
2> What settings can I do to make it pick that calculation schema only which has been assigned with POrg Sch Gp and Ve Sch Gp?
Check in Vendor mater is there any Plant specific Purcahsing data maintained. If it is plant specific Check purchasing data for that Plant.

  • Report for Dunning

    Hi Experts,
Any one has written report for Dunning.(F150)
Scenario: transcation code F150 can't be schedule; it's runs manually by users.
we  need a report  same as what F150 is doing so that we can schedule in job.
if any one knows  report for dunning ? I know fot he payment F110, there is a sap report progarm but not for Dunning(F150).
    Can anybody  suggest me ??
Thanks in advnace for the help.
    Regards,
    Nupur

    Hi Hemanth,
    Customizing:
You can go the Transaction FBMP and add your Form name as well as the Print Program name.
These would be call when ever you run the dunning Program.
From the Layoutset yuo can use the  PERFORM subroutine using and changing parameters which would have the Structure ITCSY.
The Form then needs to be present in the Driover Prpgram.
Please let me know if this is useful.

  • Deski Prompt for Source universe

    Hi,
When I move one deski report attached to beach.unv from one CMS to another (save for all users and login in CMS 2) the report prompt me for the source universe of the report.
The list of universes proposed includes beach.unv and copies of beach.unv universes I did (even if they have different names and long names).
The beach.unv is present only on time in the destination CMS so why deski does not reattach to that universe without prompting?
Any Idea on how to avoid this as we have a report with 40 dataproviders and neet to answer the question for each on them.
    Thanks for quick replies, JP

    Hello JP,
I recommend to post this query to the [BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration|BI Platform; forum.
This forum is dedicated to topics related to administration and configuration of BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Edge, and Crystal Reports Server.
It is monitored by qualified technicians and you will get a faster response there.
Also, all BOE Administration queries remain in one place and thus can be easily searched in one place.

  • How to install more than one instances on one machine

    Hi ALL,
I want to install more than one instances on one machine, but i am a freshman on SAP field. How and where can i get the related infomation for that? thank you very much !!

    Hi tieyan,
Glad the information was of some help.
For Windows, there is an older note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/28392">28392</a> that has some more information. It is important also that the SAP parameter PHYS_MEMSIZE is sized correctly according to note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/88416">88416</a> (the bottom of the note gives some examples). For example, if there were two central instances and the two Oracle database instances on one host, PHYS_MEMSIZE for both instance profiles (of the central instances) would be 35% of the RAM (1/2 of 70%). In the case of MSSQLSRV 2000, for PHYS_MEMSIZE you would refer to the scenarios of note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/327494">327494</a>.
If you ever want to thank somebody else for helping in answering a question, the <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/RulesofEngagement">Rules of Engagement</a> has a section 'Thank Others by Giving Points' that explains this further.
    Regards, Mark

  • 'SPROXY' - Multiple PI Systems connected to one ECC System for ABAP Proxies

    Dear Experts
I am currently facing an issue when I want to connected multiple PI instances to one ECC client for
    ABAP Proxy purposes.
In transaction 'SPROXY', in the Enterprise Service Brower, only one PI instance is shown and accessable.
Can this setting be changed to allow multiple PI systems in this Enterprise Service Browser?
    Thanks for your ideas.

  • 2 EWA reports for 1 system?

    Hello,
We got ECC and BW in the same system, with different clients number - and we got one EWA report every monday that cover both clients.
Is there any way that I can set up EWA reporting so I got one EWA Report for my ECC client, and one other one for my BW client?
    Best Regards,
    Karl Yngve Andersen

Maybe you can do this with 2 solutions.
    Transaction SMSY_SETUP or dswp.

  • Two Instances on one machine questions

I need to install about 4 db instances on one windows machine for the start of a peoplesoft migration. I am not interested in grid computing.
I know I need to have multiple ports for the oem's but how do I sign on to the correct database when doing rman/, sqlplus and other common functions?
I am particularly concerned with upgrades and running opatch .
How do I set "ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES" when there are two oracle_sids?
I am starting to think 4 small boxes may be better?
    Any advice?
    THANKS!

There are two ways of setting the environment variables in WIndows:
command line (valid for that command line window only)
    set {env var}={value}
    eg: set ORACLE_SID=abc
system wide (valid for everything, and therefore may interfere if not unset when not in use)
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables
If you are attempting to create a second database in the same Oracle Home, consider using the steps here
