MaxBcpThread default for Snapshot agent in SQL2012 does not appear to be 1

When I run the Vanilla Snapshot  agent that was created with the publication I get multiple parallel threads in 2012.  I did not get this when we ran R2 even though I was running concurrent.  This was the best method to avoid blocking on our
production DB even though the Snapshot did take a lot longer to prepare.  Avoiding blocking is important in our case.
So today in 2012, I had to add a MaxBcpThreads 1 to the params of the Snapshot agent job to get it back down to 1 BCP thread.
Anyone else found this problem?  Or is it something else I'm missing

The MaxBcpThreads property of the Snapshot Agent specifies the number of bulk copy operations that can be performed in parallel. By increasing this value, bulk copy operations can run faster, because they will be perform in parallel. However, if set this
property too high, it can results in some performance degradation, because SQL Server will have to spend extra time managing the extra threads. Usually MaxBcpThreads must have a value greater than 0 , and the default is 2 times the number of processors , up
to a maximum value of 8 which is calculated internally.

    Was the printer instance properly configured when created, so the print subsystem picked the correct PPD and knows of all the device's capabilities? If in doubt, erase and create anew so you can confirm that the printer maker/model/version is getting correctly identified. This may trigger Software Update to download & install a printer update. The menus available on the print dialog depend on what the OS knows the printer can do. For instance, this is what I get in Safari's print dialog when using an HP 2550Ln color laser at the office:

    When the all tenant portal and admin portal to stand for 2 days,
    VM template does not appear anymore in the gallery of the tenant portal.
    Select the plan in the admin portal, you can open the configuration screen of the cloud of virtual machine. It remains the template has been added in this screen.
    After this, you will see the gallery items tenant portal.
    Is there a fix is being planned?

    I'm a newbie in Photoshop and require your kind help!
    I recently created a blog dedicated to Baby Names: http://www.babynameslog.com/top-baby-names-2013/
    I'm trying to show a 728x90 image under the main menu, I've created a nice (don't laugh!!) image (you know full of babies, etc!!!) and tried to upload it via Wordpress system
    However, for some strange reason, it does not appear on my blog.
    Any ideas why? Maybe the format of the .jpg ? What am I doing wrong?

    Several things could be wrong, but if you are positive, that you uploaded the image via wordpress's UI, then its possible that folder does not have the correct permissions for it to be viewed on the web. Contact your service provider and ask them if they can see the file and are the file and folder permissions correct and if not could they do it for you and perhaps explain how you can do it yourself in the future.
    Another question is this the first time this problem came up (that is other images worked just fine when uploading) or is this the first time you have tried uploading images? If it is the former, then something else is the culprit, but the latter, could easily be the above.

    We upgraded from Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES) 5.31 to 6.1 on fresh Windows x64 2008 R2 servers.  I did a fresh install but our DBA restored a copy of our database from pre-prod which was at 5.31.  I get the error below.  Note, SQL went from 2005 to 2012 during this upgrade.  Do I need to change a value in this table to reflect the SQL change?

    I had this error last night while applying a patch to 6.0. However in my case the version was 21 versus a required version of 23.
    As far as i know 6.1 is not compatible with the 5 db schema, so you will need an update / migration plan for the db also.

    I was having this same problem. I understood how to change the default program but like yours my iTunes was not in the list so therefore I was unable to set it to default.
    This worked for me: (I have Vista)
    I checked for updates on my iTunes program and there was an overdue update. I installed and restarted iTunes. Then went to my Default Programs tab and followed the instructions just as described in the support material and after my installation of the newest update my iTunes was now listed in the lineup of available default programs.

    This error message is shown when the user is entering the expense report in R12 Oracle Internet Expenses responsibility. After the user has finished entering the expense lines and after the user has reviewed the default expense allocation values in the expense allocation page, upon clicking on the next button , this error message is shown.
    Has anybody experienced this issue?
    We have opened a Service Request with Oracle but so far there is no resolution. This issue occurs intermittently. It is NOT consistent. We have advised the user base with the following workarounds to over this bug:
    1. The system administrator shall clear the cache using Functional Administrator responsonsibility
    OR
    2. Advise the application user to sign-off from Oracle Applications and allow 5 minutes before they sign-in again.
    Any help or advise in the matter is appreciated.

  • System default email client (Thunderbird) does not appear in mailto applications.

    I should like to use Thunderbird as the mailto application in Firefox. The only options listed for mailto are GMail, Yahoo mail, always ask, and choose application; use default does not appear.

    I've solved this. Clicking "use other" in mailto applications, "cancel" when a window opens to select application, then clicking an application other than mailto, and the system default mail client is selected. Seems a bit user unfriendly. I'm running Firefox 24 under Ubuntu 13.04 BTW.

    It needs the user password for the wireless router, that would have been set by whomever installed the router, if that was you then try to find the password. If you can not find the password reset the router to factory default and set it up again.

    Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
    In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
    After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
    If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
    Reboot and try again.
    If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
    Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
    Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
    Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

  • Check for Rentals on Apple TV does not work

    I have rented many movies in the past using Apple TV. I have not had a problem until now, right after I just updated my Apple TV software to the latest software v6.0 (6646.65).
    Last night (9/28) I rented World War Z. Roughly 20 minutes into the movie, I stopped the move by hitting the menu button. This exited me from the movie and back to the movies rentals screen.  I then rented another movie only a few minutes after exiting the first. I had no problem renting the second movie as I did not exit the movie once the streaming started.
    A few hours later I went back to watch the move by selecting the movie.  The rental option was still availabe. By selecting to rent the movie again and then selecting "Rent and watch now", the system told me I had already rented the movie and I should go to Settings->Downloads->Check for Downloads.  This options does NOT exist in the settings menu; however, I found a similar option under iTunes Store->Check for Rentals.
    This "Check for Rentals" option does absolutely nothing - or it doesn't show anything if it is doing something behind the scenes.  It just shows the spinning lines. I waited all night for something to happen. I restarted my router and modem to make sure there was nothing wrong with networking. Again, I had just watched another movie all the way through with no problems. I sent Apple Support an email with my issue and they refunded my $4.99 for the movie rental.
    So, tonight (9/29), I still wanted to watch the movie and I wanted to see if it would work. I went to the movie, selected to rent the movie and it gave me an optionsaying that I had already rented the movie and asking me if I wanted to rent it again. I selected to rent it again.  I was able to watch the movie all the way through with no problem. 
    I ended the movie during the credits by hitting the menu button. I immediately went back to the movie to see if I could continue the movie since I should be able to watch this movie in the next 24 hours.  The same situation happened again. I was told I could not rent the movie again, but to go to Settings->Download->Check for downloads. The "Check for Rentals" is doing the same thing.
    So, my question is how do I fix this or is there even a fix for this situation?  If I can't watch a movie without the fear of exiting the movie for whatever reason and not be able to return to the rented movie, I will not continue to rent movies from Apple TV. I enjoy renting them through Apple TV, but I definitely have multiple options (i.e. XBox Live, PS Network/Amazon, Redbox, etc.).  I really want to understand why this is happening and if it's going to be fixed.
