MBAM 2.5 HelpDesk cannot loggin

I installed  MBAM 2.5 on production with
2 Servers (1 IIS , 1
SQL).
groups are correct in the wizard, I
run the SPN, I am using HTTPS
certificate for the name of the web portal with an alias
(not the server name)
the PC already report and its key is
stored in the DB, I access SelfService
but I can not enter HelpDesk after
asking me authentication credentials.

the users cannot logging to HelpDesk after Windows authentication prompt
im sure because I have images of Setup and Configuration of MBAM installation.
-other user can loging to SelfService portal but not to HelpDesk portal.
-the client PC can save key recov on MBAM server and are encrypted Partitions
     i make a query on SQL DataBase and I see key recov of client computers

    This generally means that your SPN is not set up correctly.  Let's say the web server you installed the SSP on is lance.contoso.com and your app pool creds are corp\lance.  You should set an SPN similar to setspn -s http/lance.contoso.com
    corp\lance.  In your browser, you should now be able to access the SSP without prompts.  However, if you still get prompted, generally that means that your local intranet zone in IE does not have an entry for *.contoso.com.  Since you are entering
    an FQDN in your browser, IE interprets the "." to mean "on the internet" which breaks Kerberos authentication.  By adding *.contoso.com to your local intranet zone, you are telling it that lance.contoso.com is on the intranet, so use
    Kerberos.
    I can confirm, that I have exact configuration and I always get the password promt for the very first time. We have 2 server (1xIIS and 1xSQL) infrastructure in production with SPN set like it should and I get the password prompt.

    I have problems with iCloud on my new macbook pro. I migrate the older user to the new mac and it keeps asking my password and never loggin.
    The password is correct, i can login in iCloud.com and on my iphone and ipad as usual. I reset restart and keeps asking me that same.

    You have to sign out on each device by going to Settings>iCloud and clicking 'Delete account' (this does not delete anything from the server). Then sign in again with the new ID.

  • Jabber cannot Call - Integration with CUCM/AD

    Dear all,
    I installed CUCM 9.1.1 and CUPS 9.1.1 with Jabber client 9.0.1.
    when I run Jabber on a joined domain PC (login with AD username and password), there are no problem with the calling ability.
    But when I try to use a non-join domain PC (I am using VPN to connect to office network and using my personal PC), only the chatting feature that are available. I cannot loggin to phone accounts and cannot make any calls with my Jabber client.
    Should I use UDS integration with AD?

  • Few users are unable to sign in after we added 2 more front end servers in existing pool?

    We have recently extended the Lync 2010 Enterprise pool with 2 Front end servers.  Now we have totally 6 Front end servers. 
    After this change some users are unable to login. Error message: "Cannot loggin as server is temporarily unavailable"
    Captured, client logs and received the following:
    ms-diagnostics: 4004;reason="Credentials provided are not authorized to act as specified from URI";
    We have the following security settings on the newly added front end servers:
    Network security: Minimumsecurity for NTLM SSP Based clients - set to - Require 128-bit encryption 
    In other existing front end servers, it has been set to - No minimum. 
    Questions:
    1. Is that the issue for signin failure?
    2. Do we need to change this option to - No minimum in new servers and reboot it?

  • I run an iMac Intel Core2 due with mac OS 10.7.3.  One software package is HMRC Basic Tools and I am unable to install the latest updates.  I open them up enter my password and press enter and they close down.  Apple and HMRC are unable to help..ates

    I run an Imac Intel Core 2 duel with Mac OS 10.7.3.  I run a software package provided by HMRC and called a Basic PAYE Tools.  I am trying to install the latest 2012 update for the new tax year.  I have downloaded this with no problems and I click on the icon to open this.  I am asked for my computer password which I enter.  Then press enter and the update closes down.  I have tried this several times and the same thing happens.  I have the appropiate Adobe packages for this to work.
    Help please as Apple  helpdesk and HMRC helpdesk cannot find out why.  I have even obtained a CD with the updates from HMRC and the same thing happens.

    I can not find a lot of the settings that are found on the drop down list under the Menu item Edit - Preferences. Specifically I am looking for the setting to stop Acrobat asking clients to update. I know it can be done manually. I deliver Acrobat over the company network to thousands of clients of which my helpdesk cannot go to everyone of them. Where is the setting found. In the .ini file or in the registry and what is the actual code to be placed in the .ini file or the HKey in the registry?

    Here's how to find various registry keys:
    1. Open RegEdit. Navigate to HKCU and Export The Adobe Acrobat hive under the Software/Adobe key. Close regedit
    2. Launch Acrobat and make your preference change.
    3. Open Regedit again and export the Adobe Acrobat hive again. Us a program that can compare text and find the change thats was made.

    I inherited my Mac Pro from a past colleague at my office.  I have tons of design work I need to do but I'm finding major problems with the Mac.  For instance - I will open an Illustrator or In-Design File - this could be something I have saved on the computer or it could be something I have just downloaded - either way - when I open the file and go to "Save As" or "Save" it takes the Mac 2-3 minutes (if not longer) to save the file.  If during this time I look at the Activity Monitor to see what is occurring - the program says "not responding" but when I'm in the program and try to move the mouse - the color wheel is processing indicating something is happening.  This happens every time I try and save any file type.  I think something in the computer is corrupt and I'm not sure what to do for a resolution.  My helpdesk cannot determine the problem.  What should take only a few minutes to perform is taking 30-45 due to how slow the computer is.  The same problem occurs with pdf files too.  Normal office products as not affected.  I've ran the software update and also repaired disk permissions but still no luck.  We wiped the computer of the old users info and created a new account under my name - I'm not sure if this would have caused the problem.  Please help on this - it's getting extremely frustrating because everyone I've talked to says this should not be occurring with this computer but no one knows how to fix it.

    Buy a new set of drives. One for system, one for scratch, one for media files, one for backup. That is a good start. Then add enough drives for backups so you have backups of system; of data; two sets or more; and emergency boot drive.
    Make sure you have more than enough memory. Graphics? 8GB is a good start. If you work with 2GB files, double that.
    Don't rely on Apple Disk Utility First Aid, Alsoft Disk Warrior at the least - and you need to repair the drive and files, not just running Repair Permissions. Maybe a good How-To on maintenance and troubleshooting manual.
    Start from scratch. If you are using Leopard, buy 10.5.6 DVD and use that to start with.
    If you use SuperDuper to backup and clone your drives; and Disk Warrior to repair the drive and file system you will be a long way - but at this point, keep the old system and files where they are as "backup" and copy everything to new drive to work from.
    And if you work with large files, then working off stripped RAID for scratch and saves helps. Do not use the same drive for the system AND scratch editing AND for files and media libraries. Separate those out.

  • Certificate expired

    Hello,
    I have a problem on a linux ZLM server.
    My certificate seems to be expired. Through the web interface I cannot loggin to the zlm server.
    The error I receive in my browser :
    Error: The LDAP server ("ldap://zlm01.roj.just.fgov.be:10636") appears to be down. Make sure ndsd is running on the server.
    everything is running.
    In the logs I see something of certificate expired .
    To test I changed the date of my server an after this I could login without any problems.
    Any Ideas ??

    posted before. Create anew certificate which is valid for 5 years assign
    it to the zlm server and restart the zlm services and everything should
    be back.

  • This repeat-repeat-repeat fault is isolating a 90 ...

    I do not say this lightly. We are desperate to fix this problem.
    An engineer is booked but many have faled already so a well-founded diagnosis would be welcome.
    (Non-engineers can skip to the bottom of the page to see the latest in atrocious customer service.)
    This is a repeat fault - about 4 times over 3 years.
    On one occasion the 'fix' only lasted 4 days.
    On another the engineer left without fixing anything.
    The next guy persuaded it to work for a few months.
    And here we are again.
    Sometimes the line works but it is very unreliable.
    Using the line a lot seems to clear it up temporarily.
    User diagnotics (except line test) always point to the BT line.
    Often the outgoing audio starts off at zero.
    Next thirty seconds the outgoing voice is very buzzy.
    Eventually the outgoing voice becomes audible.
    Sometimes the outgoing audio stays at zero.
    Tone dialling is dodgy.
    Sometimes a 'redial' fails but dialling very slowly succeeds.
    Sometimes the dial tone continues when trying to dial.
    Sometimes even 1 handset connected directly does not work properly.
    Things get much worse if a microfilter is used.
    Connecting/disconnecting the router seems to make no difference.
    We have tried at least 3 working handsets and 6 working microfilters.
    All items work fine on a similar BT line elsewhere.
    Some were even new items bought from the BT shop.
    The automated line test seems to pass 99% of the time.
    Yet sometimes even BT helpdesk cannot hear our outgoing voice.
    This line supports a carelink phone.
    My father in-law is 90 and has health issues.
    It is unbelievable that this problem has not been traced and fixed.
    BT Customer service 'help' line ???
    In 40 plus minutes the "help" desk pushed me beyond furious.
    The first Indian faults helper took all the details.
    Then she told me to get my local engineer to investigate and that he should contact BT engineers.
    She then passed me to billing for no obvious reason.
    The lady in billing spoke better English.
    She took a few details and then passed me back to faults.
    The next guy seemed technically clueless.
    I told him that 6 different designs of microfilter did not fix it.
    This included a T-shaped one and two with captive leads.
    All 6 worked elsewhere on a BT line with broadband.
    He insisted that the fix was to change the microfilter drop cable.
    (What, all 6 have a broken 'drop cable' ? Really ???)
    He then REFUSED to send an engineer because auto-test found no faults.
    So, no diagnostic skills and unwilling to satisfy a direct request !
    (Who hired him and how did he get in at all ?)
    It then took repeated requests and a non-abusive but long and exceedingly
    stressful verbal fight just to get someone sent out to fix this.
    What happened next seems to prove that outsourcing BT call centres is a real disaster.
    It also underlines that helpdesks don't have to be unspeakably stressful for the customer.
    The UK engineering appointments lady called me and was very helpful.
    She suggested that the line should be flagged because of his age and health.
    She seemed to be the one who was able to cheerfully provide me with some actual help.

    I was told it would be fixed on Monday.
    (The engineers had received the task early Monday)
    I was told it would be fixed on Tuesday afternoon or at worst Weds morning.
    Then I was told definitely today.
    No sign of any repair activity AT ALL.
    This is a 'vulnerable' case.
    He has been left isolated AGAIN for more than three days.
    (5 days if you count the the original error that cut him off)
    What on earth is going on ?
    The prority care person hung up after 3 rings (I counted).
    I picked the phone up and got "dead air" at the other end.
    Apparently that counts as a communication attempt.
    I have emailed two different mods but they are clearly both
    too busy with faults in general to reply yet.
    Is anyone actually going to DO something to fix thiis ?

    My iMac crash over night on my desk, every day. In fact, I see a black screen in the morning, and the mouse cursor, I can move it, but the login window does not appear. I cannot loggin via ssh, despite the fact that the ssh keys are changed and confirmed; the prompt for login doesn't appear and obviously for the password. The sharing via afp is working, and share screen also but I can see nothing. All I can do is to hard restart it . In logs it appears suddenly the following message:

    OK, so I've found a work around to this problem. Start the system preferences from the terminal as a root user...
    sudo "/Applications/System Preferences.app/Contents/MacOS/System Preferences"
    Enter your password and then go to the security applet, you will find that you don't need to authenticate as you have already done so.
    Please note, this does not fix the problem, it only alows you to set the options within the security applet. If you want to make changes at a later date you will have to enter the same command again from the terminal.

    BT usually tell you to use the name on the account ie: [email protected]
    You don't need a password but some routers insist on one, in which case BT is usually used.
    Here's the answer from the BT help section.
    BT Broadband helpdesks cannot provide support for equipment you have purchased from other suppliers.
    If you are having problems with equipment purchased from another supplier, please consult the manual or user guide supplied with the equipment or contact the vendor for advice.
    Hints on configuring a non-BT router
    You need to ensure that your router is configured to work on ADSL lines in the UK. Within your router's settings you will need to input a telephone number or VPI/VCI standard. In both cases you should check that this is set to 0,38. Most ADSL routers supplied for sale in the UK will be pre-set to this.
    You also require your BT Broadband username. This is made up of [email protected] where 'your' equals your first name and 'name' equals your surname, e.g. [email protected] BT Broadband does not require that you enter a password to connect, but some routers won't connect to the Internet without a password. If this is the case, enter the word BT.

    For a complete understanding of the permission and groups, I would rather suggest you to do the installation of the MBAM components in a single server infrastructure in a test environment.
    Create the following domain security groups and use it during the configuration of the MBAM roles:-
    1) MBAM Advanced Helpdesk Users
    2) MBAM Helpdesk Users
    3) MBAM Report Users
    4) MBAM Read and Write Access
    5) MBAM Read Only Access.
    Create an application pool account and create a login in SQL for it. Use it only during:-
    1) Configuration of "Compliance and Audit Database connection"
    2) Configuration for All Web Applications.
    If your application pool account is not a domain administrator, the run the following powershell command to set the service principal name :-
    Setspn
    -s http//<FQDN of MBAM Web Server> domain\<Application pool account>
    Make sure the application pool account must be trusted for delegation.
    That's all you need to do. Then after the installation you can check the properties of each group in SQL to verify the rights and permission assigned during the installation.

    Upgrading from MBAM 1.0 to 2.5 on the Administration and Monitoring server (database server already upgraded). To upgrade the administration server, I uninstalled MBAM 1.0 -> Deleted the MBAM website from IIS manually -> Reboot -> Installed MBAM

  • Xcode 6 ios 8 simluator "cant be booted up". help?

    When I try to test out whatever I typed, I click on the ios 8 simulator for xcode 6. It comes up as a black screen then says it cant be booted up.
