Does above notification means something bad coming up?
What steps will help me to overcome above notification
Thanks,
Neerav

Probably nothing to worry about
Do you set SGA_TARGET as init parameter. When you set SGA_TARGET parameter the db_cache and shared_poll memory balanced as per memory requirement. The mentioned notification is generated for the same process.
You can over come this notification by setting db_cache and library_cache size and by removing SGA_TARGET parameter. Or you can supress this message by setting kgl_large_heap_warning_threshold init parameter to some high values.
SQL> alter system set "_kgl_large_heap_warning_threshold"=8388608 scope=spfile ;
SQL> shutdown immediate SQL> startup

    I've seen this before. Search MetaLink on "Heap size exceeds notification threshold" or "Memory Notification: Library Cache Object loaded into SGA" (both copied straight from your alert log) and see note Note:330239.1
    Metalink has an amazingly rich search. I've often found the solution to problems like this simply by copying relevant text from my alert log and pasting it into the MetaLink search field.

    Dear all
    I am facing the following problem. I am using Oracle 10gR2 on Windows.
    Please help me.
    Memory Notification: Library Cache Object loaded into SGA
    Heap size 2262K exceeds notification threshold (2048K)
    KGL object name :XDB.XDbD/PLZ01TcHgNAgAIIegtw==
    Thanks

    This is a normal warning message displayed for release 10.2.0.1.0, this is just a bug that by default has declared the kgllarge_heap_warning_threshold instance parameter to 8388608 . The bug is harmless, but the problem is that you will see a lot of messages displayed on the alert.log file, which renders this file difficult to read and it is uncomfortable to spot the real errors.
    Just declare a higher value for the kgllarge_heap_warning_threshold undocumented instance parameter. This is meant to be corrected at 10.2.0.2.0, but you can manually have this parameter increased to a value higher than the highest value reported.
    For further references take a look at this metalink note:

  • Disabling the "Computer is low on memory" notification?

    I have a Lenovo computer that is a CORE windows 8.1 version and I am a gamer. well I just recently got a new video game and every so often I get this "Your computer is low on memory you need to close this progrm: The Game i'm currently playing"
    well I click cancel, the reason that is annoying is because it closes my game and brings it up. Well after it did it the second time I went to my task manager and checked my memory and my memory was fine, it still have a good 20% left to use. I want to disable
    this notification, is there any way I can?
    Thank You

    Sorry, but you've come to the wrong place.  You're looking for Windows Forums (with a 'u') but you've posted in a forum devoted to Windows
    Forms (no 'u').
    In the Windows Forums you can discuss Windows issues.  Whereas this forum is about something called "Windows

    I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on here.  I am running a decent rig (i7 4790k, GTX 970) yet any time I start a new project in Photoshop, I immediately receive an "Out of Memory" notification.  I have posted my system information below.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I rely on Photoshop daily for my work.

  • HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276n: not enough Memory

    Hi, my new M276n printer has memory problems. Print jobs above two pages are being stopped with a "not enough memory" notification. I searched this forum and found a "temporary" fix (reset printer to default settings) and a mysteriously missing Step 3 (removed from the message). This does not help in the long run because after just 4 more prints I have the same problem again. I don't print a whole lot, mainly Amazon returns labels and information. Reset or not, the information page shows 127MB out of 256MB available memory. What is the other half used for? Questions:   1. Is there a fix?2. Will it help if I disable unneeded functionality (fax)?3. CAN I disable fax? (If so: how?)4. Is there a fix? Thanks!

    Hi,
    As I understand you get a 49 error while printing PDF document from hp laserjet pro 200 color MFP M276n.
    Kindly follow these steps to resolve the issue.
    1. Open the PDF document you want to print.
    2. Click File > print > Click on the Advanced option > select the print as image option.

  • Out of application memory when starting iPhoto

    i get a "out of application memory" notification when trying to start iPhoto

    Curious. How much Ram on that machine?

  • Low on memory, clear application data

    For a while now, I get a notification saying that I'm running low on memory (my cache has already been cleared for every app by the way.) At first I thought I had too many apps on my phone so I deleted a few I didn't really use & the notification went away.
    However, the notification has kept popping up, closer & closer together. I'm down to only having all the apps I absolutely use every day, & it still is giving me this low memory notification. I'm really fed up with it now, as this has been going on for a month, & I need a solution before I chunk my phone against the wall.
    Somethings I thought yall may need to know to fix the problems are: my facebook app was taking up 54MB, so I uninstalled & dowloaded the facebook for htc app; I use the Auto Memory Manager app to take care of my data, it is set on the aggressive mode; I text A LOT, I had my phone set to delete converations after they reach 200, but it hasnt been deleting automatically; I have two applications on my SD card, should I move some additional apps to the card to take care of the problem; lastly, on my running services, it says "Avail: 104MB + 158MB in 32," I'm guessing this means I have that much memory available so I want to know what the problem is.
    After I uninstalled & downloaded facebook, the notification disappeared, but I know this problem will most likely happen again so I would like to know how to fix it for good.
    Thanks for the help

    I have this problem, "lately" many many times. First I downloaded the "Cache Cleaner" app and use that. Then I delete my text messages. That seems to work ONLY if I happen to have  a picture on there that I downloaded to a friend. Then last, I go to settings, applications, manage applications, and go thru them and put what I can on the SD card. That seems to work. Its been about 3 days clean for me! lol

  • Explorer exe. Application error" it says "The instruction at 0xf6628a87 referenced memory at 0x00000000 The Memory could not be read Click on OK to terminate the program

    the other day i did the windows 2008 R2 Rebooting
    Explorer exe. Application error" it says "The instruction at 0xf6628a87 referenced memory at 0x00000000 The Memory could not be read Click on OK to terminate the program
    i just get this error message.  If it is anything serious, there is nothing I can do.
    the 2008R2 OS was hang out of control
    what  is a major cause of error message?  is there any fix or Hotfix?

    Hi,
    Regarding the current issue, it may be caused by some third party software conflicting with explorer.exe or it could be a memory conflict with a driver.
    Signs of low memory include poor performance, low-memory or out-of-memory notifications, and display problems. I would suggest you to follow the steps provided in these methods and check if
    it helps in resolving the issue:
    Method 1: Run System Maintenance troubleshooter:
    Step 1 : Move your mouse to the right bottom and click on search.
    Step 2 : Type Troubleshooting in the search box and click on it
    Step 3 : On left pane click “View all” click on the "Run Maintenance task" under the System and Security.
    Step 4 : Click on the "Next" in the System Maintenance interface.
    Select "Try troubleshooting as an administrator
    Method 2:
    I would suggest you to run the Memory Diagnostic Tool and check if it helps.
    a) Press
    Windows key and type "memory".
    b) Click "Settings" and then click the result "Diagnose your computer's memory problems".
    c) Select the recommended option to run the tool.
    Check if the issue still persists. If the issue persists, increase the virtual memory.
    Change the size of virtual memory
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows-8/change-the-size-of-virtual-memory
    Method 3: I would suggest you to run System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) and check if it helps. The System
    File Checker tool (SFC.exe) scans for missing or corrupted system files and repairs them.
    Run System File checker to see if you have any corrupted system files.
    Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us
    Method 4: If issue persists follow these steps:
    I would also suggest you to check if the same issue occur in Safe Mode and check if the issue occurs there as well.
    Step 1:
    Start your computer in safe mode
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode
    Step 2:
    Follow the Microsoft KB article to perform clean boot on the computer. A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
    How to perform a clean boot in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
    Disclaimer: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps from section “How to
    reset the computer to start as usual after clean boot troubleshooting” to reset the computer to start as usual.
    Hope this helps.

    Restoring the defaults doesnt usually purge out the memory of a printer.  You need a cold reset to complete that proceedure. Cold Reset steps:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Issues-Troubleshooting/HP-LaserJet-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276nw-Cold-reset/td-p/5060955 The video at the bottom of the first page is very helpful.

  • Memory utalization of each database

    Hi All,
    Is there any way to record memory utilization for each database in one Instance. I have around 7 databases and want to know which one is utilizing more at current time.
    Shamas Saeed (if Post helpful please mark as Answer) http://shamas-saeed.blogspot.com

    My Problem is that my database server is using more than 22 GB memory and it is increasing. Where is rest of memory and why it is not reverting back to free or OS.
    Second is Kindly give me best practices for setup memory for a database server machine.
    Shamas Saeed (if Post helpful please mark as Answer) http://shamas-saeed.blogspot.com
    Shamas,
    I would request you to read first about SQL Server memory and then ask question. It seems like you are posting and giving own answer. Although you can answer your post but I would request you to take some time before posting question
    What you are seeing is not an issue a database if utilized much would force SQL Server memory to cache pages corresponding to that database and it seems like that database has used all available memory. SQL Server can utilize all memory if max server memory
    has not been fixed. I guess that is what you found in the blog
    Again SQL Server would not release memory once taken unless OS flags low memory notification. If you want to read more about SQL server memory

  • What does "Out of memory" mean from Keynote?

    I have had my macbook for about 5 months, and I am still learning to use the Iwork programs. Today, i tried to open a powerpoint file and I repeatedly receved a "out of memory" notification from Keynotes. What does that mean? And is there a way for me to open this document?
    Thanks for any help, in advance!

    You should not keep a String array of all the lines of the file read.
    Instead for each line read, parse it, then write the parsed line in the other file:      public void loadFixedWidthFile() {
             BufferedReader in = null;
             BufferedWriter out = null;
             try {
                //File must be in same director and be the name of the string below
                in = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("files/FLAT.txt"));
                out = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter("files/outfilename.txt"));
                String str;
                while ((str = in.readLine()) != null) {
                   //System.out.println(str.length());
                   str = parseThatLine(str);
                   //write out the parsed str to another file
                   out.write(str);
             catch (IOException e) {
                e.printStackTrace(); // At least print the exception - never swallow an exception
             finally { // Use a finally block to be sure of closing the files even when exception occurs
                try { in.close(); }
                catch (Exception e) {}
                try { out.close(); }
                catch (Exception e) {}
          }//end loadFixedWidthFile()Regards
