Merging Java Transport request with Abap Transport Request in Charm

Hello All,
We have activated the Change request Management in Solution Manager. Therefore transport request of type workbench and customising can be created when you choose action 'Create Transport Request'.
However we have some SAP systems that have CTS+ integrated which allows to generate transport request number and attach objects in PI Integration Directory - java transports.
Question is - Is there a way we can integrate the java transports generated in these SAP systems with Solution Manager CHarm and transport creation.
Or can we assign the java transports to charm in any way.
We are basically looking for how when users create Charm, the abap and java transports relating to the charm are generated and created only from Solution Manager manager or how these two transports can be linked together in Solution Manager.

Hello Friends
I have read the links and followed the instructions and tried to create object
TABLENAME R3TR TABU and tried to save it.
I keep getting a warning message
Note: ZTABLE1 is an application table
Object TABU ZTABLE1 has object function "k", but no key.
(I don't know what key to enter. I tried the Key field name, but it said 'Enter Numeric values only').
If I ignore and save and try to create transport request and then import it on a different server, again only table structure is getting transported and not the contents/data of the table.
I would appreciate if some one can please let me konw what I am doing wrong.

Java Web dynpro with ABAP Clients?

Morning,
We have a situation where we would like to use a Java Web dynpro with multiple ABAP backend data sources. This is for autorization as well as data. We are not using Enterprise Portal.
We've created a pair of system Jcos and mapped them to the Web dynpro via the URL. This works and the correct data from the correct Client is retrieved depending on which pair of Jcos we define in the URL.
The problem we are having is that we are only able to logon using the ABAP Client defined in the ume....master.client parameter.
Is there a way to achieve this (again without EP) either in the system configuration or programatically in the web dynpro?

Thanks for the updates. Actually my query is we have a SCM 5.0 system which has a java stack in it. But now we are going to upgrade it to SCM 7.0. - Is SCM 7.0 has a java stack ?
If it doesn't have , can we upgrade SCM 5.0 to SCM 7.0 without Java Stack ? Is it posssible to upgrade without Java Stack or not ?
Is it possible that we can convert Java Stuff into ABAP web dyn pro ? If yes , how shall we can achieve it ? If not, how shall we proceed in an alternate way ?

Possibillity to close yellow request with ABAP?

Hello experts,
is there any possibility (function module, program, ...) to close the yellow request of a transactional cube ? The reason why we need this functionality is to load all data from our BCS cube to another cube during the day via process chain. This means that we aren't allowed to switch the BCS cube from transactional to normal and back, which would also make the yellow request green.
Any ideas?

Please follow the steps to make the request Red .
If the same you want to include in the Process chain and automate the process you can incude a process type which has a ABAP code attached to it .
Follow the below procedure to make yellow request to RED:
Use SE37, to execute the function module RSBM_GUI_CHANGE_USTATE
From the next screen, for I_REQUID enter that request ID and execute.
From the next screen, select 'Status Erroneous' radiobutton and continue.
This Function Module, change the status of request from Green / Yellow to RED.
Once it is RED, you can manually delete that request...

ABAP Transport versions

Hi!
I faced now with the following problem with ABAP transport:
1. transport (1 month ago) - transported to QAS
2. transport (1 week ago) - transported to QAS - then transported to PRD.
Now I tranported the 1.st transport to the PRD and it was setting back the program to that state, what it was 1 month ago. It seems for me, it was storing that version, and that version is transported, instead of the actual state.
Does anyone know, where are these program versions stored?

Req-123
Req 456.
First you have done changes w.r.t to Req 123 first and moved it to quality
Second you have done changes w.r.t to Req 456 to the same program and moved it to quality.
So far it is fine.
When moving to production you need to move Req 123 first and then only Req 456.
If you transport 456 first and then 123 the changes w.r.t 123 will overwrite the changes w.r.t 456 request.So,the sequence of moving the transport requests is more and more important.
You can check the versions in VRSD table.
Sequence is more important.

Error when calling Java Web Services from ABAP.

Hello experts:
    In my project, I will call Java Web Services with ABAP coding. With WSDL, I generated a proxy class and created a HTTP connection (t-code: SM59) and a logical port (t-code:lpconfig) for this proxy class. But when running, I would receive the folllowing errors:
   SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTP COMMUNICATION FAILURE")
   If I used HTTPS, there is no problem.

Hi Bob,
It might be the possibility that your java web server is configured to listen only on HTTPS.
If your HTTPS is working fine, then first check with your JAVA server for HTTP connectivity, then try it calling through ABAP.

ABAP Transport Request

I have a old abap transport request for a program which was transported to qa and production to restore the old version in the production server.
when new changes were made to the program , along with the changes the latest version has gone to production , how can i solve this problem

Hello,
You need to create a new Transport, retrieve the old version of your program and send that Transport to Production.
Once the Transport is released from your system, then you can again change the program in a new TR and make the new changes.

Hi,
Goto RSA1 and then Transport Connection -> In SAP Transports select Object Types-> Query Elements -> Then select Query->Give Technical name of the query and then select for transfer. In the right side you can choose the components which you wanted to transport.

Automatic Release of Transport Request: By ABAP Program

Hi Experts,
I have following scenario:
I have created one custom table in which entries will be inserted/modifed through one report program by using alv grid list.
I have one selection screen in which one text box which is used to display the entries from custom table and have one push button: "Transport Release".
whenever user enters a entry in text box and click on push button, report should pop up and display the request numbers regarding the custom table and once user selects that request, the request automatically releases from that system to other systems.
Please let me know is there any FMs for pop up the existing requests and release the requests automatically.

on the push button hit you write code to modify the entry in the database table with a status to release... and hit star popup star in se37 for popup function module.

How to check with which user id a request has been transported

Can anybody tell me how to find out with which id a request has been transported to a system?

Hi,
To find who has moved the request.
In STMS, Go to import overview(F5). Select the system in which you want to see who has moved the request.
Then at the top menu, in GOTO select IMPORT HISTORY(Ctrl+F7).
Once you are in import history, at the top menu in EDIT select DISPLAY MORE(Ctrl + Shift + F1).
Then it will display the users list.

i have made a Report and then i have transport it to QAS server but mistakenly i transport the request without T-Code.
Now i want to make a new transport request with T-Code but can't understand where i can make this new request because when i go to this path*UTILITIES -> VERSION MANAGEMENT -> * it shows me the request which i have transport it.So i want to make a new request with Transaction Code included in that request.Kindly guide me where i can make this request.

Goto se93 give your tcode and press chagne,after entering into it make some change and click on save, it wil ask for TR. Save it and export it to quality.

How transport request with EEWB

Hi guru's,
i defined a project with EEWB transaction and then i created two extensions with several Zfields (in order to manage correctly campaign master data and campaign element).
Then, with right click on project name, i created two change requests : first workbench request and second customizing request.
Now i transported workbench request and all object are correcly in QAS environment but customizing request created is empty, without objects.
How can i fill correctly objects in this customizing request.

in Quality Assurance Environment i see all data dictionary structure but with EWWB i don't see my project and extensions defined in Development environment.
One question: in EEWB QUAS enviornment i see create icon. Perhaps i have to define project and extensions manually and then replicate this activity in PRD enviornment.

Hello,
You can listout the transport requests for a selected date.
For that you have to run the T.Code: SE10 /SE09.
then, you will get Transport Organizer
under the Requistion status:
--> Modifiable
--> Released beside Select a Date (i.e.in that choose a date from which you want list of TR's).
And then,
Press the below
Display button.
you can see the list of TR's for that /from that Date.

Change Request Management without Transport Management

Hello Change Request Management Experts!
I have understood that It is possible to take change request managment in use without transport management. So I could handle Change Request with different statuses without automatic funtions behind these statuies. We like to see how to handle changes between different roles of people and implement the functions after that.
I suppose that I should take only Change Request (approvals) and not Change Documents (execution) from Change Request Management.
Have any of you tried to do that?

Thank you for your answer. I have tried to do that also but I where is still some configuration missing because I get error message in: No maintenance cycle is open for the current system. I have also tried to to that maintenance cycle but I thought that it needs CTS activation in some project.
I also like to know what is minimun configuration for change management that I could use SDAD with Service Desk.

Java client for OSB proxy with JMS Transport

I am trying to call OSB proxy with JMS Transport. I am generating the client through ant task clientgen and following this article

The osb proxy is req-response and is simply routing to BS which return a string value.
When I run my client, it get stuck and does not return at all. Has any one trying java client in such scenario?
What I may be missing?

http://localhost:7021/sbresource?PROXY/MySample/MyJMSProxyService is the WSDL URL of the proxy.
Transport is is picked by the client from wsdl.
As far as the documentation of client generation is there, there is no change.
But meanwhile I have started working on sending the message directly to queue. JMSProxy is getting called. May be I will first run the proxy this way and then try troubleshooting the java client.
