MESSAGE ATTACHMENT BUG ON LOLLIPOP

I'm experiencing this bug too. I'm not able to attach anything to text/sms messages. Any resolution?

When i click the attach button on message the keyboard pops up, hence i can't select anything to attach on the message body.

Try Clearing the messaging app data.
How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen
1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the messaging app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

Sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing, StephenjCrane. We definitely want to make sure your work email is working. When you try to access your email, are you receiving an error message? Are you using the default email client, or a third party application? Do you know if other coworkers are also experiencing the same issue?
Just in case, please try a wipe cache partition as this can help stop a number of issues.

Message attach to a icon

Hi everyone,
I have 4 icons on one form and some users are getting confuse... i would like to have a small message attach to each icon just like we have on the navigator... message that would appear everytime the mouse enter the icon and right next to the icon.

if u r working in forms6 take the item property sheet and give the message in tooltip
In forms 4.5 you have to create a display item and pass the message to it and change the display position(x,y)according to each icon(Note: set bevel of display item to none and fill colur with same form colour so that it looks better)

Is it possible to purchase the ability to exceed the message/attachment size limit on iCloud? I keep running into it when I need to send out PDF image files.

New messages in Inbox are opening with old messages attached

I recently switched from an Ibook to a MacBook Air. Some new messages in Mail inbox are opening with old (2-5yrs) messages attached. For example, an unopened email from Virgin Airlines opens with a work email from 2011. Anyone know why this is happening and/or how to fix this?

i notice the following
i cant attached pictures into an email or onto a text message
I tried selecting a picture from text message and from an email by clicking insert , it doesn't work
I tried by the camera rolls to select them and add them to an email, it doesnt work either

The only solution I've seen that seems to consistently work is the one posted by Brackers28 here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23020591#23020591. This only works if you still have access to your old email account. If you don't, you'll have to have Apple help you reset the password for your old account so you can turn off Find My iPhone.

Message editor bug: Ctrl-Z and Ctrl-Y not working

I am writing a reply, where I am inserting a lot from Word-documents and web-pages.
When I pressed Ctrl-Z, a large block of text, including an inserted quote, disappeared, and when I pressed Ctrl-Y it did NOT reappear, so there must be a bug or two in the message editor.
I am not sure what else to tell about it, but it's kind of shocking.
I have noticed before, that when you use Ctrl-Z and Ctrl-Y the editor-window does not scroll up and down to show you WHERE you are undoing/redoing something. That is also quite confusing!
And BTW: When you mark something, there is no cursor, to tell you if you are at the end of one line or at the beginning of the next. That is also quite annoying.

When you insert your word document are you using Paste without formatting (Ctrl+Shift+V).
All bets are off if your pasting the horribly contaminated data from a Microsoft office document without using a text only filter. It is an unfortunate fact of life that an email containing text pasted from Microsoft word can cause a virus alert due to it's internal references to OCX controls.
It also contains complex data structures that are only meaningful to Microsoft office. However they are more than enough to scramble other editors as they often do not form valid HTML. Just another occurrence of Microsoft "innovating"

Missing Incoming Message Attachment Bar in Mail

Hi, I have suddenly noticed that when viewing a message in Mail which has been received with an attachment, I do not see the attachment options that used to appear on the right side of the window below the header (in line with the reply, forward etc. that appear in the center). See photo below.
The attachment options had options to save, save individual attachments or if they were photos, an option to add to iPhoto. Basically that whole menu has disappeared and does not show in the message window anymore.
Is there an option that I have turned off by mistake? Please help with a a solution.

I have this problem as well. Not only is that entire menu missing, but sometimes when I receive an e-mail with an attachement the attachment doesn't even show up. The person sending me an e-mail says "invoice attaced" or something of the sort, yet there is no attachment. I am using a GoDaddy e-mail accout, so when I actually go to the website and sign on I can see the attachment on the e-mail. Clearly the attachments are attaching, but they are just not showing up on Mac Mail. This is only sometimes, other times I get the attachments no problem.
Any suggestions out there would be great!

SOAP Message Attachment MIME Problem

I'm having problem trying to send a binary file with SOAP.
I can send an XML Doc (MIME type text/xml) but when I try to put the ByteArrayInputStream that holds the binary file and the content to application/octec-stream
I got this exception:

Illustrator cannot print message and bug

I am running CS5.5 trying to print big pages with multiple large eps files or hi res photos.
when going to print I get a message that Illustrator cannot print. I press the cancel button.   but illustrator continues to send nthe image to the printer anyway, if it is printed it only has part of the image, like it ran out of memory.
So I guess I am running out of memory?
any ideas how to deal with this?

I have a simple example of the problem.
A 28 mbyte JPEG file.
I am running illustrator on an I7 mini mac server with the latest lion. the board is configured for 2Gbyte ram and I have two 500K disks.
I am printing to a wide format epson stylus pro 9890 and trying to generate a 40 inch by 60 inch work.   Illustrator comes back with "cant print"   no further explanation, Now here comes the bugs in how the app behaves, in that it will continue to print a partial document if i do not kill the print process.
I assume I have a memory problem?

I recently upgraded both Pages 09 (I believe) and went to OSX 10.9 Maverick .... now I am unable to send a pages document to a friend on gmail. Google rejects the message and attachment with the following explanation -
The reason for the problem:
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 552-'5.7.0 This message was blocked because its content presents a potential\n5.7.0 security issue.

IWORKS 09 pages, keynote, numbers does not send in MAIL (mac) because of "This message was blocked because its content presents a potentialsecurity issue"
its a problem not only on GMAIL but also Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, and other services...
The problem is that gmail and others haved yet accepted the latest iworks 09 files. its a problem that apple can ask then to fix but its up to the gmail and others to fix it.
Solution!!!:
1 - Send it by exporting to office files
2 - Saving the files as old iwork documents
3 - Command P and save as PDF
4 - Save in icloud and send the URL
So you can still send them but have to take a bit more of your time

I have created one extension of idoc type debmas04 as ZKNA1 .I have attached the message debmas with idoc type debmas04 with extension Z1KNA1 with release 620.
when I am running bd12 the extended part is not populating.
How it can be done ?

When ever you send the information thro' BD12 it calls the FM MASTERIDOC_CREATE_REQ_DEBMAS inside which there is a call to another function module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_DEBMAS.
In the function module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_DEBMAS
* Customer exit
    call customer-function '001'
         exporting
              message_type = message_type
              idoc_type    = c_idoctp_debmas
              segment_name = c_segnam_e1kna1m
         importing
              idoc_cimtype = idoc_cimtype
         tables
              idoc_data    = t_idoc_data.
Which takes you to exit EXIT_SAPLVV01_001. You can find include zxvsvu01, where you can populate the additional information about new z-segment.
