Hi,
When we do settlement of an Investment order (Revenue postings allowed) system throws an error with message
Settlmnt from revenues/debit-side down paymnts to receiver FXA XXXXXX 0 not allowed
Message no. KD561
Diagnosis
The sender has revenues or customer down payments with cost element 123456 (business transaction: CO Through-postings from FI).
You cannot settle these revenues or customer down payments to receiver FXA XXXXXXX
Procedure
Change the settlement rule for the sender. It can be useful, for example, to use a source structure to settle costs and revenues separately to different receivers.
Note
Revenues or customer down payments can only be settled to G/L accounts, profitability segments, sales documents, real estate objects, orders with revenues, or WBS elements.
Actually, the revenue cost element 123456 has 2 entries (erroneously posted with the order)but reversed the same so balance is zero
In the allocation structure,
source has a Cost element group with both cost&Revenue cost elements
the Receiveing categories are
FXA -Settlement cost element 67891
ORD -by cost element
Question: Even though revenue cost element 123456 has zero balnce system throwing the above error

Thanks for your reply.
I understood system behaviour but as the balance in Cost element 123456 is zero just expected that any exception for this by way of OSS note
As I know the process, assigning source structure process explained well and more over I feel that for assignment
10. For GL 123456 the receiving category  can be maintained GL (If PSG, I need to maintain PA transfer structure)
as you mentioned the other option,
"If possble, enter a separate settlement receiver for the GL account 123456 (If Line item settlement allowed in your IO)"
I checked in OITA the line item settlement allowed - but didn't get the point you mean ..Can you please clarify
