Can i use BPM in this scenario.
I dont think you need a BPM for this scenario. All you will need is a JDBC-- IDOC scenario where your SENDER JDBC adapter willpick the data from the database, map the source to the target IDOC and push it out using IDOC adapter.
Requirements for implementing this scenario.
Oracle Driver to be installed on your XI server,
IDX1, IDX2 settings on XI , Partner profile on R3 for receive the IDOC from XI.
. Oracle 8.0 is being used, so is there any version compatibility issue that i need to keep in mind.
Q: I have deployed the Oracle classes12.zip / classes12.jar JDBC driver as per the instructions in the XI Configuration Guide.
Unfortunately, I frequently notice hanging database connections. A thread dump taken according to the instructions in note 710154 shows one or more blocking JDBC Sender/Reciver threads and optionally that the JVM has detected a deadlock.
A: The Oracle classes12.zip / classes12.jar driver is compatible with Java 1.2 and Java 1.3 only, but not with Java 1.4. Please upgrade to a current driver (ojdbc14.jar), which does support the Java 1.4 JVM you are using.
Please make sure that you remove classes12.zip / classes12.jar from aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda prior to adding the new driver as per the instructions in the answer to question #1 above as you will get a class name collision otherwise (all JARs from aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda are loaded into the same class loader and the driver class name of both driver versions is the same).
Before deploying the updated driver, ensure that the new version is still compatible with your Oracle database server release. For details, please refer to the release notes provided by Oracle.

Data Transfer from Oracle database 10g to Oracle database 9i

Hi Experts,
We need to insert records at the speed of min 10,000 records per sec in the following condition.
Source : Oracle 10 g and Oracle 9i
We need to select the data from Oracle 10g and insert into Oracle 9i database.
Here we not allowing to create database link and also not allowing to create view or materialized view
because this two database is not on same network.
So we developing the small java application on intermediate server where we write process to get the connection of this two database servers.
From java application we call the procedure for selecting data from Oracle 10g and insert into oracle 9i database.
What is the best way to achieve?
Or You also suggest any other way to achieve
( As per this scenario materialized view is working ? )

But it create another problem as per my business logic, There will be two database server , one is online server where online user fill the form which is generated by java, spring , hibernate and using database 10 g.
at day end i need to execute a process that transferring data from online server to offline server that is in oracle database 9i. This process is scheduled. Some security reason client do not kept this two database on same network.
My challenge is that transfer data from online server to offline server with applying client security norms.
I have option like
1) Using Oracle replication method, creating materialized view on remote server , refreshing it at regular interval. but database connectivity is not contineous, should i go for that ?
2) Write java application on intermediate server where we write process to get the connection of this two database servers. From java application we call the procedure for selecting data from Oracle 10g and insert into oracle 9i database and using flag on both data to identified how many rows are transfered and how many remaining for trasfer.
Please tell me what is best way to acheive this ?

Bank Balance transfer from Legacy to SAP

Hi,
Can anyone please guide how to move bank balances from legacy to SAP? What about BRS?
Also, how do we handle the cheques that were booked in legacy however they got bounced once the data was moved to SAP?

Hi,
The bank account in legacy need to be tallied with the bank statement on the last day of the legacy system. The balance of the bank gl thus will be tallied with bank statement on the first day & the reconciliation will start from the transaction from the first day.
For bounced cheque you can enter a normal entry to subaccount. As this entry will be in the bank statement, will not have any issue in reconciliation.

Transfer of flat file from Oracle to SAP from ABAP code

Hi Expert,
I have to write a code in ABAP that call the Oracle procedure and it transfer the file generated by Oracle procedure. To call the Oracle procedure from ABAP with passing multiple parameters that i know the syntax but how to transfer the flat file (output file in txt format) generated by Oracle Procedure?
If any one have sample code can you please give me.
*Note: Oracle procedure is running in the different sever (Legacy system)*

doing non RAC to RAC conversion with ASM option,
I am using ASM with RAC and created ASM disks (DATA, FRA, CRS) on Shared SAN disks between node1 and node2 which are DATA for CRD (control, redo and Data) files, FRA for archive files, CRS for cluster files while doing RAC instalation,
now how i move my CRD on local file system /u01/EBS_DATa/*dbf, *.ctl, *.log to shared ASM disk DATA ???????
Please describe with step wise,

Purchase Order Data transfer from one old sap system to new sap system

Suppose i have created some purchase orders in one client( old sytem) that are accurate according to our need .
Now instead of creating same purchase orders again in in new system is a useless task.
SO i want to upload these purchase order directly from SAP old system to
