Messaging and remoting through coherence
Hi all
I'm really coherence noob...
But I want to implement subj by coherence...
How to implement reliable delivery to queue and/or topic (just done what jms can do) ?
(now I'm listen a map with messages, and remove received messages from the map.. damn... it's to messy)
How to allow client call service in any available node once? (i do it by the same way but with blocking queue in client)
I think it would be great to describe such common "EA patterns" implementations in coherence wiki... isn't it?
Hi,
first of all, Coherence might not be the best option to do messaging and remoting, as it is not the purpose of Coherence to solve these problems.
However, the listener for a map with messages is not a bad start. Backing map listeners are also something you might want to look at.
Compared to the cache listener they give you a balancing of the load across storage enabled nodes at the price of the backing map listener being able to listen only for events for keys it owns.
You could also look at InvocationService. That is most similar to remoting and messaging, however InvocationService is not fire&forget, if the invoked node goes down, nothing guarantees the execution of the invocable instance, so you would have to implement failover (retry, redelivery and duplication detection).

Since installing iOS 7 messages randomly disappear from the messages list. When I scroll through message from 'Fred' has disappeared. I go to 'Fred' in Contacts, go to send message and there are the messages. 'Fred' messages then re-appear in Message list. Why? How to stop messages disappearing from message list? Thoughts?

I am using an I phone 5 in Germany and trying to get text messaging to work through the hands free Bluetooth connection on a Honda CRV. It keeps telling me that text messaging is not a feature of my phone. messages come in on the phone.How to resolve ?
mono 8 bit 8k is 64kbps, yes. 8 bits times 8,000 = 64,000 = 64k bits/sec.
And yes I think that's a typo - there's no such thing as 'Mone' that I've ever heard of...
But you might want to check to find out if this is a mu-law non-linear format, possibly - there are several ways that 8 bit 8k wav files can be encoded, and typically phone systems don't use linear ones. If you have a log-in to Zultys' user-base system they have an FAQ there, I believe - the answer might be in that, and it won't cost $500. -
My imessage is not working. I went into settings, then messages, and it says my imessage activation is unsuccessful. What do I do to get imessage working again. When I turn it on it sends imessae through my email not my phone number

How can i check messages sent to device through my Verizon account online? i want to open the messages and see the contents.
I know it's beneficial to be able to check your message content ArmyQueer. Verizon messages offers a wide variety of convenient options to manage messaging. What make and model device is this? When did you download the application on it? Please be aware you will only be able to see content after the app had been downloaded and installed. Routing and Remote access - internal network not accessing internet through public network!
Hello,
Good Evening to all.
I got an issue in routing and remote access on windows 2003 server. This server is already configured as File server, domain server and Application server. Also configured as router (through routing & remote access) for connecting three different
network to each other. So This server has three NIC card installed and each NIC card represent separate network.
three different network are - 192.42.160.0/24 , 192.42.161.0/24, 192.42.162.0/24
Three NIC card installed on server as with following IP address -
NIC -1 = 192.42.160.220 , Sub- 255.255.255.0 , Gateway - NO
NIC -2 = 192.42.161.220 , Sub- 255.255.255.0 , Gateway - 192.161.220.112 (This ip for internet access so 4g router IP)
NIC -3 = 192.42.162.220, , Sub- 255.255.255.0 , Gateway - NO
Now the issue is I can reach to internet & (also pinging to router ip 192.42.161.112) from only one network that is - 192.42.161.0/24 , BUT when I trying to access internet from another two network (192.42.160.0/24 & 192.42.162.0/24) I cant access
it and moreover can't ping to internet router ip - 192.42.161.112...
So how I can access to internet from other two network also?
I was already configured static routing for all three network but still I was not success. really I don't know what exactly static routing it should be done in routing & remote access so that all three network can reach to internet?

My phone doesn't have any cellular phone functions...but it CAN send text messages and access data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, the last two have this problem and the first stopped working all together. I've had new sim cards put in, ive done hard resets on the phone, i've rebooted the phone, done battery pulls, and tech support has reset the signal to my phone. Nothing has worked. (I just "upgraded" <- lol.... and my old phone IS turned off.)
Im in 79707. So to recap my whole case: I upgraded my device using the verizon wireless website. I received my phone and switched my old SIM card from my Droid Razr Maxx HD into the new Galaxy S5. Everything worked fine until the next morning (May 31st) when I woke up and the phone wouldn't turn on. I took the phone to the local Verizon store and they were also unable to turn it on. They issued me a new Galaxy S5 (referred to as phone 2) and switched my SIM card into that one.
With PHONE 2 i was able to make calls and receive calls, along with text and data for approximately four hours. After that, i was unable to use the phone function of the device, but text and data were still functioning. I took PHONE 2 back to the Verizon store where they attempted to hard reset the phone twice, they also installed two new SIM cards at the store. After this they would get the same error, which is the phone just reading "Dialing..." after attempting to make a call. The Verizon associate declared the phone "DOA" and issued me another Galaxy S5 (referred to as PHONE 3).
PHONE 3 worked well, with phone text and data featured intact from when I received it on the after noon of the 31st until approximately 2:30PM on June 1st. I contacted Verizon Tech Support via Gmail phone to attempt the correct the problem. They reset the connection, had me do a battery pull, had me close the "phone" application, and erase the data and catche, then restart the phone. All of which had no effect. My phone is still able to receive texts and use data (even with wifi off) it simply cannot make or take phone calls. all it says is "dialing..." when I attempt to make a call. When other phones call my device it rings once on their end and directs them to voicemail, PHONE 3 does not ring on my end.
I have made sure my old phone is completely powered down. -
My text messages are coming through out of order! I have checked the software and the time setting is on automatic!! Very frustrating... any other advice??
When reception allows the iPhone sends and receives the messages, this is also dependent on the reception of the other phone you are communicating with. If you really feel you have a problem, contact your Carrier about the problem.

How to loop through many XML messages and parse them ?

I have been trying very hard to loop through many XML messages and process each of them. Let me first explain the problem -
Suppose I have the following String -
<xyz>
<abc>happy</abc>
</xyz>
<xyz>
<abc>new</abc>
<xyz>
<xyz>
<abc>year</abc>
</xyz>
I have to process each message within the <xyz></xyz> tag and find the falue of <abc> element (happy, new and year).
The extraction of <abc> value is very simple, I am using SAX parser's startElement() method to check every element's name and if the element's name is <abc> pick up the value. But I am not able to loop through the different messages within the <xyz></xyz> tag.
I am thinking of using another DOM parser -
DOMParser domParser = new DOMParser();
StringReader rdr = new StringReader(inputXML);
InputSource src = new InputSource(rdr);
domParser.parse(src);
Document doc = domParser.getDocument();
NodeList nodeList = doc.getElementsByTagName("xyz");
Now I can loop through this nodeList, but not able to. Is using the DOM parser and NodeList the preferable way of lopping through the messages, then how I can loop through ? Or is there any other way ?
I have been trying on this for quite a few days, but not able to. Can you please help me out ?

Try using the SAX reader from the dom4j package. The document object that you receive contains methods for getting the root elements and with that you can traverse down to the sub elements of it.

I have tried to send photos through text messaging and it will not send. I thought my iPhone 3 was giving out so I got my iPhone 4 last night and still can't send photos through text message. What is the deal??
Also MMS is supported on a carrier by carrier basis. While mostly every carrier does support ths feature make sure that your carrier allows this functionality.
